The Truth About Alipearl Deep Wave 5X5 Closure Wig| Beginner Friendly Install

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, my name is chantel. So today we are talking about this gorgeous gorgeous wig from ali pearl, and i feel like for those of you that have shopped with a pearl. There is no way you have been on that website or been online generally and not heard about like the raven views reviews on their um deep wave hair like i am just loving this unit so so much and today i'm going to be walking you through how I kind of style it for my day-to-day wear, probably a little bit more than i would do on a regular day. If you guys have been here before you know, i am the lazy, wig wearer um, so this is a 5x5 closure. Of course, you know you already know what it is with me: um, but yeah, obviously we're going to get into the specs and all of the details for the wig um, just in a minute also um, but yeah. Okay, so i'm always excited to see what extra bits the vendors include - and this came with the standard edges brush - that you need a cute like silk, scarf to tie your hair down elastic band as well, if needed, um and then wig caps, of course, and i Actually used this one to lay down at my edges, lashes and then instructions for kind of how to look after the hair. Now i love that it came with a silk bag for storage of the wig as well, which was perfect drawstring as well to keep it safe and secure, and this is the wig. So this is a 5x5 wig, 250 density and i believe 24 inches, and i just thought it was stunning, like even the texture when i first got it was amazing and it is a hd lace. So you can see here. I felt like the knots actually weren't too bad, like they're a good size and - and i just felt like they would have taken to the bleach, really well we'll see in a minute. Obviously it has three combs inside and look. This is what i was talking about. I left the bleach on too long, like i forgot that it kind of expands a little bit as you know, it sits and dries so it went through the lace onto the hair, so i'm gon na have to fix that by tinting it later down the line, But other than that i was happy with everything else. It was just. It was sad. It was real sad, so you can see it's kind of orange inside, but i did go ahead anyway. Tint, the lace um applied a little bit of my foundation as well and then obviously went ahead and cut the lace, but i was kind of i can't lie. I was happy, obviously, there's work to be done, like i said, i'm still learning so i won't be doing that next time and then to actually secure the wig i'm going to be using the ors. I always call it wig system, but basically the spray, the gel, the mousse and so first i apply a layer of gel um and then i just kind of found that dry. Normally i use a hair dryer, but i can't be bothered getting it out and then i'll apply a second layer just until it is tacky enough to kind of feel a little bit sticky and then pull the wig forward. Oh yeah, let it dry, of course, and then pull the wig forward here we go to kind of secure it in place. Now i don't like kind of using my actual fingers, because i think i've said before that it makes your hairline will end up turning white. So i just use another edges kind of brush comb thing to make sure everything's pressed down properly and then i also went in with the ora spray to properly um. You know fix any bits that i felt like weren't really secure. I tied that down with this scarf, provided, which was perfect a great length to kind of wrap it around twice, get it tied nice and tight, so it properly properly lays um and then, when i was done, i'm gon na tie it three times you'll see. So this is the first kind of tie down and then i'm using this uh ors mousse, just to kind of you, know, really really slick everything into place and kind of start, bringing forward a little bit of hair for baby hairs. Now you'll see, obviously the glue and stuff has got onto my makeup. Normally, i would actually do my hair after my makeup, but obviously that's really really easy to clean with ribbon alcohol, and this is the second tie down um taking it off, and i was like kind of just looking at my hair and i was like you know What actually mid styling yeah? I decided. I wanted to do a middle part um. So now, i'm just gon na go ahead and add, like literally minimal baby hairs like i'm, not someone that really tends to do dramatic baby hairs. If you guys saw in my last video, i tried to do the bare minimum um and i'm just gon na use the ors mousse just to style those in place. I really like the fact that the mousse is still lightweight like it doesn't give you the shine or anything that or like the hardness that i feel like um you get from a gel or anything like that, and i just use that to kind of get everything You know all of the hairs in the direction that they need to be, and then this is the final tie down. So just do it as tight as possible and then obviously yeah leave it for a little bit. Take off. I put some concealer on the hairline and i'm using my carry care, wax, stick just to tame any flyaways and then um, obviously going in with my hot comb. Just to finalize, you know, get everything secure. Now i don't mix conditioner with my um water spray bottle. I just literally use water and you can see already like the definition coming through the curls, i'm using the tangle teezer brush, but um a denim brush. Actually, works really really well also, but look at this, like definition like it is so stunning, and just oh, it's giving a holiday it's giving beach babe, and you can see the difference um from the and kind of the the side that hasn't been sprayed and stuff And then obviously went through the same process on the other side, so i didn't actually film it. But then i went in with the creme of nature argan oil mousse before using the diffuser, because i just feel like the mousse helps maintain the definition. So the hair doesn't frizz as much and then the diffuser kind of helps as well like hold that definition and dry. Your hair, like i think, sometimes when you have the water and the product it can just feel very heavy and like it's giving perm um. So i prefer it to be dry personally, but i was so so happy by my bar my mistake with the bleach so happy with how this turned out, and that is literally it like. I am so so happy with this hair. If you guys can't tell um. Obviously, as i mentioned before, i have had this hair before and it did so so well for me, i really really wore that wig down to the end and obviously i feel like this one is going to be so much better for me because it is pre-made Like it was ready to go, you don't have to worry about, like my personal wig, making sewing skills, um and yeah. I really just can't get into this. I even had to zoom out so you guys can see it in it kind of it's fullness like oh. It'S just stunning, so so full of volume, like just the perfect amount of body and obviously as it dries down even more, it will give you that kind of like the the the drama is it me, am i the drama? Yes, yes, it is. This is this. Is the drama? Okay, um? Obviously, there are different ways to wear this, like some people like to wear it completely dry, when it really grows some people, like kind of the slick look, i think i kind of sit in the middle whereas, like it's not completely wet like i've, seen now, it's Kind of still a little bit damp, but with your clothes after using the diffuser, it's not like the water and any moisture is going to get onto it. So i just feel like the mousse just really helps hold the curls lets them have that definition, whereas i know some people prefer kind of when it's like literally like wet like out of the pool kind of wet um but yeah. I just think it's so versatile. It'S a staple for summer um and i really really hope that if you guys have not tried it before that, you see you take this as your sign to go and purchase, and i just think the 5x5 for me. Obviously i know i did switch it from my initial plan to do a side part, but i just think the 5x5. I just love that it gives you the versatility that in theory i feel like you kind of also get with a friend. So i know with a friend, so you can do a lot more, but for me who is very simple and basic in terms of like my baby hairs and that kind of thing i just think this is all i needed. She is everything i definitely forgot to film the outro on camera. So here is some extra footage for you guys, um of the hair i forgot to mention as well. Actually it's a little bit shorter at the front, but i don't mind because i feel like it's kind of giving a little bit of layering and framing of the face, i'm not mad at it at all um. But i also thought i would show you guys the length i forgot to say, i'm five foot three, this hair came just above my bum. So for me it was the perfect length, but you might want to go longer if you are taller and want the same. Look but yeah, i will see you in my next video. Thank you.
