What'S up y'all welcome back to my channel? If you are new, my name is brooke. We are okay, don't forget my damn me and in today's video i'm going to be applying this lauren's wig? Yes mama! This was supposed to be a ash blonde. I don't know what it's giving the girls like, it's giving me ash with gray. I don't know what color this is. So i really couldn't include my coloring process because yeah, if y'all want to know, though i could just put it in my description box or in the comments down below, but this is a 613 wig. That'S a five, no four by four closure and um a 20 inch yup 20 inch, five, four by four. Why who i want it to be a five by five, so bad? Clearly, but it's a four by four to closure from my homegirl hairline baby period, best hair, outro period 19 and killing it. This is so yeah i'm supposed to stop cursing. So sorry, this hair is so nice, so silky and this 613 hair 613 hair. If you didn't already know is processed hair, so it's very hard to find good 613 hair and like baby, i'm telling you we we found it. I don't get no tangles in this hair, like i tell you, no, not no cap period, no at all like no tingling like i could do all of this no tingling period, and i did use glue for this install and i used um the ball cap method. So if you want to know how i got that going for myself, then just keep on watching okay y'all. So we about to get started. I already have my hair braided down, and so i'm starting off with this olive oil gel um, it's all right, but you could really use any ogl that really you know grips your edges hold it back, so you want to brush all your edges back before you Put on your cap and make sure that it's dry, like i mean completely dry, so that your edges are out the way out the mix, and i put oil in my how to make my like hair grow. You know you want to oil, your scalp up. I promise y'all, you really do so. I put my cap on and here right here, i'm cutting out ear tabs. So i could just like lay the cap down easier. It'S really a closure. So my sideburns, don't matter! That'S why i'm cutting the ears out like messily, then i'm taking my got to be spray and i'm going to spray my hairline. We all know what this looks like. So that's why i really didn't show it um. You really want to focus where the lace is going to be. I did this whole part because that's where the cap was, but that really doesn't matter right now and then i took this gel and i put it over that same jar that i used to put over my edges. I put it on top of my cap to make it like melt into my skin, but you could just use got to be. If that's all you have so y'all this whole process. I was just keep on spraying. I got to be blow drying and make sure that my kelp is myth. My cap is melted into my skin. I wanted to make sure this cap was, like you know, laid like. I want my lace to be like. I feel like a good like ball. Cap method is really the foundation of a wig, so right here you see i'm trying to like pull it up a little bit, because i don't like my wigs to be too far down my forehead. So that's why i did that. I took my scissors to um cut it in two, so it'll be easier for me to take the razor across my forehead. Y'All! Listen when you do this! Do not put that razor too close to your forehead, because you will cut yourself. I was bleeding throughout this whole thing. I mean it wasn't bad. It was little cuts, but you would much rather not have that, especially when you're gon na be taking alcohol to be cleaning up stuff. So i just ran my razor through this. You could have did scissors or whatever you have. You don't really need a reason. Okay, so now it's time for the actual melt of the cap, i'm going to take this the same gel that i was using since earlier and use the end of my edge brush to press down the um, the part of the cap. That'S still like you know, sticking up or that you can visibly see. I'M gon na use the end of that um edge brush and press down on the um cap y'all see the motions that i'm doing i'm just like taking it and pushing it into my skin. Basically, and i'm going to take the dryer as you saw and keep on pressing it until it's black baby after we then melt the cab. Now it's time to powder up this um cap - and i took my sephora micro, smooth powder um i'll - have the shade name down below, because i really don't remember it just use a skin tone powder. You know anything that works for you. You can really go to the head store and find a skin tone powder or use lace. Tint it doesn't matter. I want you to also pay attention to like the placement of the powder. I didn't do it all over, because this is a closure, not a frontal. So i really didn't need all that powder. So right here, i'm taking some alcohol. My alcohol is green because it's really like arthritis, alcohol, but whatever anything of the sort would work - and i took this cute tip the cleaning on my hairline, because when you apply glue, you don't want any oils dirt makeup. None of that to be on your skin when you're laying it down so here it goes my wig look at susie. Let'S see her yeah them curls they're about to go, though yeah y'all gon na see why i took them out. So i'm using this um lace tan. This is my first time using this lace 10, and i really, i think i like it yeah. I really do like y'all supposed to have been trying a long time ago, but i didn't but y'all. Let me tell y'all: do not put that thing too close to your lace, child. I had that and do it like a good, a good distance. Far back. You know right so right here, i'm just putting my wig on seeing the placement seeing how far down i want it to go and stuff. You know stuff like that, and you want to clip your hair back too, because if your hair getting that glue channel, it's a headache. Oh yeah. I took this white eyeliner to like mark where i want the glue to stop. So i don't have too much unnecessary glue on my forehead and yeah, so i'm gon na take this glue right here. Um. I don't know if i recommend it yet i might have to let y'all know. I mean it was good for this install right here, but i just got some more glue in the mail and i'm gon na. Let y'all know like which one i like better or whatever, so i took a popsicle stick and this glue and i took a very thin layer and i spread it out evenly and y'all see how, like it starts off white and it starts to turn purple. You want to make sure it's super thin so that that white, like chunky stuff, doesn't really show you want it to be basically like transparent. That'S how thing you want to be - and i did this a good four times y'all like i. I did some layers on this because i hate when my lace lift like two days after i installed it. So i do a good amount of like layers three to four i like to do, but you can just do two: it really doesn't matter. Okay, as y'all can see, i took the dryer to speed up the process whatever whatever and then i took this popsicle, stick to like press on the glue see if it was tacky or you know ready for me to lay the lace down anyways. So i'm going to take this lace, press it and y'all. Take that cone and press that mother effort. You could push it with your fingers too. It'S really not recommended because you have oils in your fingers but girl press that thing in i'm. So sorry, if y'all could hear my brother in the back as well, y'all y'all always hear them, i'm so sorry, but just press that thing in yeah. I start my hair up for a good 30. 35 minutes. Ciao tie it as long as you please, because you want this thing to be melted. You could leave it on for two hours. If you please baby, just let it melt so here i am cutting it off. I'M back, you know so now it's time to cut that lace and hold up hold up. What'S going on girl, oh, i was taking my clips up, so i cut the middle first and then i take um my eyebrow razor. I mean you could take scissors, but eyebrow razors are just easier to get like a more natural look, because you'll have to cut in zigzags if you use uh um scissors and it's just so much easier if you just use a razor okay, y'all right here. I realized that i did not like the density of this wig, so i had to pluck it some more. I plugged it while it was off my head, but it's just a difference from when it's on the mannequin and it was on your actual hair y'all. So i part both sides in little sections and went went to work baby. I went to work and it could have still been a little thinner, but you know it was good. I didn't want to bald it. Oh yeah, and then i put some powder on like my lace and stuff so that it just matched my skin tone a little better, and i just you know rub that in define my part and yeah. It'S looking a little ashy right here. It don't really look like that in person um and it looks better when it's not doing my makeup and y'all can see. I was really trying to like make myself like these curls and they was just not e. I was feeling like a little bow pee. I was feeling like child dorothy from whatever they think girl. I was just not freaking, feeling it but yeah i just i'm just playing with it. Seeing if i want some baby hairs, trying to um pressing that well, my lace was pressing. I didn't have to do much today, but i did um try to do some baby hairs. I did do them, but i really didn't like it, because this is a four by four and i don't like when baby hairs, like you know, take away from the whole install and stuff. So i didn't do them, but then i ended up brushing them back once. I did my hair straight, but you know this is just me playing with it again, making it thinner, because i hate thick baby hairs. Y'All gon na learn about me. I hate thick hairline, stick baby hairs. Ah then me please: okay yeah! You might not feel like mousse is necessary, but moose is like so necessary, it's great for, like um doing edges for wine, but for two, when you put that thing on like your hair, it just makes it so flat. Look at that! Look at that! Look at that look at that. Look at that white sticks too. White sticks and mousse is key to like your hair being flat, but look putting that hot comb on it too baby flat, glowing flat, freaking galore. That'S why i thought i was gon na, like my curls, if i had like made the top flatter, but like no, the curls just made me feel old lady-ish. So i'm using my um, i was okay. I'Ve got to be spray because i, like my the front part of my hair, to be a little pushed back and to like melt my lace in a little bit more because, as y'all can see right here now my lace looks way more melted than before. It was looking real ashy, but that's the finished, look and you're about to see me later: okay y'all. So this is how my hair is looking lead. Um y'all saw my hair curl when i finished, but that was ugly. I know y'all was looking like a brew kind of like that. That was ugly, okay, so um. I straightened my hair, as you can see, and all i did was um. I didn't do really any baby hairs. I did. I tried to do two right here, but i didn't like it, so i just pushed it back. I just straighten it. We all know how to straighten, and then i just cut my ends kind of even because this is short hair and if i wasn't going to um curl it i feel like i should cut it into like kind of blank, a long blunt cut. So that's what i did and yeah i just put some like um. I put a wax stick at the top. It was my homegirl lipstick, so i mean go to your local beauty supply. You should find a good white stick whatever so yeah. This is the finished. Look, i hope, y'all liked it. I hope y'all enjoyed watching me put this wig on it was. It was interesting. It was very interesting, but she got ta go yeah. It'S like, i don't had it on for like a couple of days now yeah yeah, but i just wanted y'all to see it with a full face line. Instead of that bare face, it wasn't giving it no justice so yeah she real cute. She will be back in the future yeah, so i hope y'all enjoyed. This look, don't forget to like comment and subscribe down below and i hope to see y'all in my next video bye.
