How To: Install A 4X4 Closure Wig Ft Ayiyi Hair

What'S up guys and welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, janae and in today's video i'll, be showing you guys how i installed this 4x4 closure wig by this company on the screen. I don't really know how to pronounce it, but this hair is super soft y'all super thick and honestly, i love this wig. I really do um. I'Ve been trying away from closures, but closures are really easy and simple to just throw on they're good for quick installs, and sometimes you just get tired of rentals, but keep watching. I don't know what i want to call you guys um, i probably will only be addressing it in my intro. But what do you want to be called comment that down below and yeah? If you want to see how i installed this wig or you want more information on this wig keep watching this video first things. First, we do have to remove the wig that i had on. Prior. This hair was pretty nice. The video for this will be coming out soon, but we have to start with a clean base. I know some people use oil to remove their um frontal all that stuff, but you can also use alcohol, but i heard that oil is that the best way to do it and yeah and i'm not gon na - do the bald cap method. This time i'm just gon na you know slide it back and just go over it, because the ball cap is not the best all the time hello. So this wig is a 4x4 lace, closure wig in 16 inches and it's bone straight um. I know i might look like it out the package, but i did try to pre-pluck it a little bit because the wig didn't really come that much plucked and it also comes with the elastic band. You know help ensure that the wig is stayed down. It'S how the wig looks. It is transparent lace and no, i won't be bleaching this wig for this install today. I find that it's best to pluck the wig while the wig is on your head, just because you know, like your hairline and it's easier to see what would look more natural if you do it on your own head. So i like to pull a layer off from the front and pluck behind that layer to thin it out and if the front part of that is still too thick, then i'll make the part thinner and still pluck behind that line. And i just keep doing that until it's. You know the way i want it to look and how it's not too thick and honestly, you don't even have to pluck it too too much. If you want a full part, you can have a full part, but i'll try to make it look as natural as possible right here. I'M just showing you that the wig was actually too big and i did have to cut a piece off on the side on each side and that's perfectly normal for me, because i do have like a smaller head. So i do try to get a petite wig and not a medium or like a more like an average, because their average is too big for me. But it's not that hard to you know, cut it off or anything here, i'm showing you. What i use to you know cover up my lace and i use the sculpting and the contouring part, and i use that to you know tint. The lace we must experience is, i know that i spray the spritz right on the hair, so what i'm going to do is continue to comb it and with the blow dryer i'll spray it. So that way it doesn't make the hair hard. If you keep continuing to comb it while the blow dryer is blowing, it won't make the front of your head hard it'll, only seal down the lace, because that's what you want, you don't want the front to be crunchy. Okay, so everything so far has been a voiceover, but i am now available to talk so i'm gon na you know reiterate everything i just said earlier, so this wig is by this company right here. I can't say it um, but this is the brand that we're working with today. This is a 4x4 closure, transparent lace, straight wig, and this is 16 inches um. I don't really like. I really want to get into like longer hair, but the 16 inches isn't bad for me um. So i went ahead and just like let it sit. While i did my work mostly because my camera died honestly and i have to remember to stop looking at my face and look at the camera, but did that look weird like let me know like it, does it look weird if i look at the camera or Should i look at myself, i don't know, but here's how it's looking. I think i think i did pretty well um. We all know that i am a hair stylist, but i haven't really been getting into, like you know, doing people's rentals and stuff and i want to be able to get into it. So i've really been focusing on making myself look, how i would make others - and i am proud of this install - i haven't - cut the lace off yet so that's what i'm gon na go ahead and do um yeah. I have scissors and i also have this bracer foreign. Won'T you come a little closer after i do my edges. Your girl is going to straighten it and that'll be the hair and in the morning i'll do my makeup and stuff and show you guys a finished. Look with a beat face or whatever so yeah, i'm also going to use this time while it's heating up, while this is molding to heat up my flat iron. So i can start flattering my hair, but right after i finish this, i'm going to go ahead and do my edges and we're also going to be using the freeze, spray and mousse to do my edges and i'm going to need two as well. So i personally like to keep my cut my edges to like an inch or a half an inch. I don't like my edges to be super long and sorry, i'm around. I don't like my edges to be super long and thick, so i tend to cut um like here, maybe a little short for y'all but um. That'S how i like to do it and i use mousse to move it around. I like it. I think it looks very natural clean. You know we stain it um. This hair is super soft and very full. We love full hair, but yeah. It is just 16 inches and you saw i just trimmed like some of the ends that kind of stood out to me, but i think overall, the hair is very pretty so i'm gon na go ahead and go to sleep and tomorrow we'll do like. You know a final reveal, even though you already see what it looks like, but, like you know, i put some eyebrows on put some eyelashes on. You know i look i'll i'll get cute for you guys. You guys can get like an ultimate reveal just school work, but i'm gon na go ahead and take pictures tomorrow for like the thumbnail and um. This video will probably be up on saturday. Once this is 16 inches, i did trim it a little bit to even it out, but for the most part i kept the length i do like the length on me. I feel like this looks pretty natural and i'm enjoying this. Did i put eyebrows on at 8 o'clock at night just for this video? Yes, i did. You know what they slay they slay period queen, you tell them. Oh, i did end up redoing my edges. I thought that this way looked better. I do kind of have like a small widow's peak that i i keep cutting it off when i do my wigs. But that's why i feel like it looks more natural if i swoop that middle section, because i do have like a little speak a little but yeah i like it.
