Best 4X4 Closure Wig Install Ft. Caitlyn Hair | Wig Review | Tips & Tricks

Hey guys welcome back to channel videos, you read by the title: i i'm lakes, our will be getting my hair installed. It'S a 4x4 lace. 4X4 closure wig, it's a body wave, it's 20 inches by katelyn. Here, that's the brand um they're, an amazon seller and they sent me to say thank you so much for sending me this hair to do my honest reviews and you will not just be getting an opinion from me sister. Who is, if you guys do not know you can check so it came in this box, it's my name and all these things, but it came in this box and inside of the box uh. It comes with a wig cap um a thank you card with their instagram and email on it. I will put everything in the description below and like um yeah, just a thank you guys. The hair came in this plastic body with 20 inches. This is the hair. It'S actually the front is actually kind of wet, because i just bleached the knots and rinsed it out, but this is how long it actually is 20 inches. And yes, it is a closure closure. So far it feels really great and it's nice, whatever the least feels like, but i'll. Let you get another opinion. So let's get right into this video. So what i'm going to do now is use my god to be glue to slip back her hair and then i'm going to use my well, i'm just showing you my cap cap that i'm going to use. I only use the tan caps because, with the tiny cap you could manipulate use any color, you could get it to any desired shade of brown or you know that you want, but with a dark cap you can go from dark to light. You know so we always try to use a tan cap, but i'm just putting the cap on her head. Sorry, i play too much and i'm going to use my got to be glue. I'M going to show you all that don't mind my dirty glossy glue. You want, i use this every day, so i'm going to go ahead and apply a thin layer onto a 4x4 inch space of the cap, because this is a closure and not a frontal and then we're going to go ahead and use our applicator brush to smooth That baby in so it can dry clear. Then what we're going to do is we're going to secure that cap by sewing around that glue space. I don't know, i don't know if that's a half circle, a spherical. What do you call that? I don't know whatever you're gon na see how i saw it yeah whatever i call, let me know in the comments below but yeah. Let me tell you guys about this hair. This hair is amazing. The lace is nice and thin it. The knots are small, easy to bleach, perfect bleaching. The lace is nice and thin. So it'll, look very, very natural. Now you're going to see me go ahead and apply my face powder. I like to use face powder i like to use tins. I use either or um, but i did run out of um tint, so i go ahead and use my face powder and it that either oil works well, once you have the perfect shade for your client skin tone now, you're going to see me go ahead and Cut off the lace and apply the powder to the cap as well to blend with her skin tone, now you're going to see it looking a bit lighter than her skin tone, that's mainly because once you apply the glue, it becomes darker. So that's fine, so yo i'll get into this little light, and this you know it looks. It looks very much skin toney. So this is a 20 inch um body wave, hair um, see y'all, see that process that i just did. I just cut off that extra piece of lace that they have there on the edge. You want to cut that baby off because boom that can just you can't even glue that down, so you might as well cut it off so yeah. I'M now applying my bold hold, i'm going to clean my hair off our forehead off with some. I have 72 percent alcohol. You can use 90 degrees 100. It doesn't matter once you clean it off really well, so all of the oils for my skin is off. So i'm gon na go ahead and smooth that glue in we're gon na wait until it's dry. I like to use my um a paper uh, something a book whatever to find it instead of using my blow dryer, because i feel like the blow dryer dries it too fast. You know, and i want it to still be tacky instead of like completely dry. So i'm going to apply three layers to this. I usually use another glue, but my bull hole. I'M going to use this today so fan fan, fan ooh! You see how that clear. That'S so cool, i don't know, but yeah final tilt turns clear and then we're gon na apply another layer. I don't know why she looking like they will oh yeah she's. Looking at the tv sorry, i forgot my two was up here, but if i like till i get clear again and then we're gon na stick it down, then we're gon na use our comb to comb it through make sure our baby is nice and sweet. Now we use our my handy dandy, elastic pan to lay it down, make it nice and secure. Now i'm going to use my comb to do a middle part, make sure it's in the middle and not on the side. Then i'm gon na use my wax stick to press that down. Then we're gon na go ahead and use our account to press the baby out now. Look at how flat that hot comb is getting that hair. Now she's scared of the hot glue, because the lace is that the hair is so thin and wonderful when you press it, it has no choice but to be flat like you cannot have a bumpy install with this um with this hair. You'Ll. Excuse me, this girl is a mess. Okay, now look at how flat look at how smooth and silky this looks like honestly and you're gon na see me go back again with my wax stick. You got ta get this nice and shimmery and flat. I can't really see i barely even gliding this hot comb across her hair and she's, acting like i'm burning her like so dramatic, but getting to silica. Oh now, you're going to see me go back in with my face powder and clean up. The part make sure that baby is nice and straight and blended and neat so you're gon na. I can't feel the seat where you'll kind of get a glimpse of it. Boom, look at that get into that part, so beautiful, like that literally changed the entire game of this hair. Like honestly that neat pretty flawless now, i'm just going to go ahead and get my hard brush spray. Some freeze spray on it and brush down any of the flyaways just going to get the hair, nice and um smooth nice and neat without any of the little baby flyaways on the top. Now i'm just going to go ahead and take the elastic band off. It'S been sitting for a minute, so let's reveal the looks there we go and that's before cutting the lace off, so i'm adding any baby hairs or anything just get into it. So now i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace off snip, snip, snip. Sorry that i blocked the camera, but i'm not going in a straight line, stop cutting laces off in a straight line. It'S gon na look like a wig, so you're gon na cut in a zigzag motion and you're gon na see that it looks a bit light. But that's fine, we're gon na go ahead and fix that afterwards, but yeah yeah. I'M going to show you guys exactly how we fix that lightness right and what i do once you cut the lace off. Sometimes you don't apply a little enough glue to it. So all of the lace doesn't get stick down glue a glue down. Of course. Sorry. So i'm gon na use the back of my comb, the tail of my comb to apply some more glue to the skin so that i can melt the rest of the lace down into it, and you're gon na apply the same amount of glue that you do When you um the first time you apply, so if you use three layers gon na go ahead and use three additional layers, so it's nice, and so now i'm gon na go ahead and create my baby. Here now, when you pull down baby hair you're, just not gon na cut them off and then superman just like that, you do have to go over and pluck them, so they can be nice and thin thin, not thick nice and thin and natural. Looking you're gon na go ahead and pop up until it's thin enough or to your desire. Now you see how it's been looking, i'm gon na do the same thing to the other side. Yes, and that's my next trick, i like to part and then pluck out here from the middle, so the part is nice and clean, so we're gon na go ahead and pop up thin that baby hair out. So it's nice and natural. Looking, i don't know what we're talking about right there, but it's a lot of giggling, i'm gon na snip it off and please don't cut too short, even if you have to start off a little bit long and then swoop them and then cut them again. But if you start off too short, it looks stupid. You don't want to do that and you can't go over it again because you already cut too short. Okay, so start up a bit long so that you get that perfect baby hair sweepings. You see that so now we're going to go ahead and tint. The lace fix that brightening, that bright look ooh, but i need not to talk too long. Look at that i'm going to go ahead and tie that down again. I did use my true match. You might have seen it seen it on instagram, a lot of celebrities like argente and alonso arnold and all of them use true match to tint their laces. That'S the one i'm using in bronze to tint her lace. Now we're gon na. I decided to press this hair out just to show you guys that it can be worn straight. It can be worn body wave and curled as well. So i'm going to do all the three well you've already seen it body wave like the waves in it. Now. I'M gon na go ahead and press this out, so you can see it straight boom get into that. That'S with absolutely no product. I didn't use any product on it, but yes, it's really straight. It does have a little frizz to it, but that's only because of the humidity in the room. So i'm going to go ahead and curl it. I don't want to add any layers as yet because we ain't going over here, it's clean. I mean it's going to seize it, no one's going anywhere so until it's somewhere to go and an event or whatever then go ahead and bump this curl. This latest do all that extra stuff, but get into this hair. I love this hair. I would definitely recommend you buy it order it. It'S amazing. It holds curls once you um, once you add layers to it, it would hold very well. It'S super super soft like this is literally the softest hair. I'Ve felt i like ever i'm not even gon na lie and trust me. I work with hair every single day so, and this is literally the best lace, the best lace, i'm sure they have the variety of hair they go for front, they have frontals and closures and everything if you get different rules, i definitely you definitely would not be Disappointed because this lace is amazing, as well as the hair, so you're just going to see me add some light. Little curls just wanted some light little waves just to give the hair a little shazam, instead of just being straight, but i'm going to head forward ahead. Yeah, but i'm going to go ahead and take the elastic band off just so. You guys can see. Look at that. Look at this, so beautiful it looks like her ski up. It'S getting scared! I'M gon na call my baby hairs because i don't like that stuck down glowy glowy, baby hair. I, like my baby hair to be nice and swarf and sweet it's fine to go over the baby hairs over and over. If you feel like it's still too much hair there, you can go over and re-pluck edit tweak whatever, but yeah. Look at that beautiful and no i'm not scratching her up with the key for you up. It looks a bit rough. How i'm doing your house fast forward? I mean sped up but yeah, very nice, very nice, but just getting get into it. I, like this hair, perfect perfect, like i don't know what else to say, this hair is just really really nice and you should go ahead and order. You
