Okay, so we made it to part two, so this hair is from harula. If you haven't seen video one we just went over. You know the wig and the cap construction in us, adding hair to make the wig a little bit longer a little thicker and i'll show you guys how to sew on an adjustable strap to your wigs to make it glueless. Now. This is just what my wig turned out to be, so, if you guys want to see how i customized it to get it to look like this, then you guys know to keep on watching. Also, if you want to see you know the first video, i will have a link in the description box for you guys also at the end of this video. So let's get to customizing this wig okay. So before um we go into curling this wig. I want to pluck the hairline as you can see, it is not pre-plugged and i like a plug hairline regardless, if it's a closure or not so um, i'm going to go in and i'm going to do one side at a time. So we're going to work on this side since i'm over here and i usually like to do this with wet hair, but because i am it's thanksgiving, happy thanksgiving, i'm i want to hurry up and get this done. So i'm going to take my favorite handy dandy, tweezers. These are from revlon i'll leave these down in the description box, for you guys and i'm gon na just go ahead. I feel like plucking on camera is so awkward, but you got ta get it done. Hopefully, i'm not in the shot, so basically i'm just diffusing the front of the hairline because it's thick, it's not super thick, but it's big - and i don't like that. So i am trying to make it a little thinner in the front, so it can have that gradient. Look and sometimes this is all you need just to do this. You don't necessarily have to do a whole bunch of plug-in um. A lot of people be like i'd, be pocket for an hour. I'D be like why it does not take that long to plug, i mean, but if you're a slow plucker, then i understand, but you know it doesn't have to be that long. Oh and this, the knots on this wig was super small, so i didn't have to actually bleach the knots. Well, i'm not bleaching in line, so i just don't feel like it. So we gon na do this on some non-bleach knots and you can already tell the difference from that side versus that side. Okay, so um, i'm gon na go back a little bit more, so i'm gon na part the areas that are already plucked and then i'm gon na pluck behind that area. Just to give me a little bit more gradient, so it can look a little bit more natural. We like natural, we don't like our wigs to look wiggy. You feel me girl. We don't like that. Will my friends be wearing wigs that they customize their self, and i see it i'll be like let me get my tweezers out because girl, i cannot have you out here, looking like that, so we're just gon na go ahead and plug super easy shouldn't. Even take you five minutes per side if he was doing a frontal, i would say it should take you no more than 20 minutes. If that is that all right comb it out and then you can push it on back and it'll look ready to go all right, so you want to do the same thing on the other side. For me, the key to plugging is knowing when to stop, because you could pluck. You could be a good plucker. But if you over, plus you're defeating you know the purpose of you having a frontal or closure, because you won't have it long because it will shed or um it will ball depending on like if you overleach it. So it's just knowing when to when to call it quits, because you want your lace pieces to last as long as they can, especially now, since it's a it's a hair drought, it's a definitely a hair and lace drought right now, so you don't want to you! Want to be able to have your lace lace pieces last as long as they can, because it is hard to get these items all right. Okay to curl, i'm going to use my ion curler! I bought this from sally's. They do sell this on amazon. So i will have a link for you guys down below this. I don't know what size barrel this is, but this is one of their smaller ones that they sell. I love using this to curl. This is what i've been practicing on and um. What was i about to say? It goes up to 450, so with dark hair i like to use 450 because it just lasts longer, so this is what i'm going to use. I also, i also have a hot stove, so i do this is my present combs and everything like that. My flat irons. This is a stove flat iron and i am going to use my pressing cones to do the edges just to make sure everything is silk out. You feel me, i'm sorry that my vanity is dirty like i'll, be working y'all for hair products. I do like to use um, vontae or spritz, so i'm gon na use vontae, it's still control and it's a holding spray um, it's a extra hold, so it helps keep your curls in for a little bit longer and then um my k, lashy collection slick. Stick. I love this. I'Ve been using it. She sent me this to try and i've been like loving it. It has a matte finish and it's a strong hold. It gives it a nice sheen, it's just a wax stick. My wax stick is dirty, but i like using this now when it comes to like doing the hairline, because you i used to spray holding spray on the hairline and then press it. But i started using this and this makes the entire difference of how the front of the hair lays you are gon na also need some clips, so you can get these from your local beauty supply. So i'm gon na do a voice voiceover at this point, because i'm gon na turn on some music and curl. But i will uh explain to you guys how i curl and what i do. I am gon na cut slight layers into the hair. Nothing too dramatic. Just a little bit layers, so even if i decide to wear it straight, it'll still look you know banging so um yeah. So i'm gon na take this tango tweezer. I don't know who invented this brush, but i love it like. This is probably one of my favorite brushes to use and i'm gon na take it and just comb out the hair make sure that there's no tangles or anything in it - and i do own some shears they were just downstairs, didn't feel like going to get them. So i just took some my regular scissors and i just cut some front layers into this hair um. You can also do back layers, i'm not that advanced, like i'm a beginner, just like you guys, like and i'ma tell it like it is, i'm still learning how to do layers. I am not a pro at layers, but cynthia's learning. All i do is keep practicing and i'll. I always get better just like how i did with curling i'm still practicing. I will still get better, so i'm just going in with some scissors and just doing some slight layers, and this is just going to help me with how my hair falls in the front. Now. I don't go in and do a lot of layers because after i curl it sometimes i cut more layers into it because it just it, it just needs it, and so, like i'm, taking the layers and i'm pushing it to see where it's going to sit and Where the fold, the little little fold in the front of the hair, is going to be so this is my wax stick. I'M going to take it pull some hair out from the front, that's going to be the baby hair and i'm just not i'm not going to apply too much wax in the front of the hair. But i'm apply enough so where, when it comes to me pressing it it'll just smooth on out so y'all know, i'm gon na say nothing beats a a classic stove pressing comb like you could buy all the play games y'all want to, but it's not gon na Give you the same jigs that the stove is going to give you like it's just a different, it's a different outcome and feel like i don't know. Maybe i'm just you know. My age is just showing and i used to just get my hair pressed when i was little like. I just love the pressing comb. I love getting my hair pressed then flat ironed. I don't like getting my hair flat ironed and then y'all touch up with the edges like ah beauticians are backwards. Y'All, i don't know i do. How tell me in the bottom, like do y'all like our hair, pressed or y'all just go straight to the flat iron you're, like i like my hair washed like if i'm paying you for services, i want my hair washed. I want a nice deep conditioner set me under the dryer, then press my hair out, because i'm just that way and then you could go in the flat iron and curl and do whatever you need. You know but use moderate heat like how you're supposed to like. Don'T over heat, you know saturate my hair with heat, because you know i want to keep the little curls that i got. You feel me, but when i was younger, my hair was already heat trained, so i didn't have any curls, so i never knew i had curls until i did a big job. So how do y'all like y'all hair done, tell me down below, like if you get your natural hair done? What'S the process for you, because if i'm paying for services you're definitely going to wash my natural hair and comb that thing for sure for sure? Okay, let's get to these curls, so i am going to just take pieces and not not large pieces. I like to turn my curler upside down because i'm curling away from the face, and so the clamp is going to be on the bottom and then you just curl away from the face and then i'll just pin it and that's all i do across the entire Head like i, i curl backwards, that's how i learn um now it's getting now. What i've learned about curling is that you want to pin them and let them cool off, because they'll definitely last longer, like i recorded this video three days ago and my wig still has its curls in it till today. So it's been three days um, so you definitely want to pin it and you definitely want to use a non-sticky holding spray, because that will make the difference for you when you're curling your hair, so um i got definitely got to get better with pinning because the Curls be hot and i don't like it in my hand, but i'll be having to thug it out and pin it so make sure you pin it, and so i'm going to show you guys a couple of times over and over again of me, curling um. Turning the curlers upside down and curling backwards to achieve curls and, like i said, the more layers you have in your hair, the better the your hair will look with curls. I don't i'm not good with layers so um. I only could do what i could do. You feel me so um. The front of my hair usually looks the best, because that's the place that i usually have the most layers, but i am gon na learn my layers. Here'S a rule of thumb. I do if i put my fingers on the hair while it's on the curling iron and my fingers get too hot and i have to remove it all. That'S how i know it's time to remove the hair off the curling iron. So that's my little tricky trick trick like i don't like i didn't know like you, want to make sure that the entire curl is heated all the way through. So if it's getting to your thumb, that means it's already heated all the way through so i'll. Take it out, take the curl off the curler and pin it. So, let's do it again, one more time together we're going to take our section turn our curlers upside down, where the clamp is to the bottom. You want to curl away from the face all right. The higher um you leave the curler to the weft, the more curlier it is going to be throughout the entire head. Alright, so i'm curling on up make sure that all the strands are in there completely and i'm going to twirl it all the way to the top. Let it sit, i'ma touch it with my thumb, if my thumb hot imma, let it go imma, let it go, and then i am going to clip it in place. So after all of that curling this is the finished product, and so what i like to do is i'll go in with my holding spray and i'm gon na give it a light. Little mist, you don't want to make your curls crunchy, so i'm gon na give it a light, little mist and let it sit um, and i think i did my makeup and stuff like while i was letting it sit so yeah. This is what the hair looks. Like and i'm gon na, just let it sit and cool all the way down. So now we're just gon na breeze through our little quick glueless install okay. So i'm gon na take my makeup from ruby kisses, i'm in the shade 16 for my stocking cap. Okay, so i'm gon na use a brush, and i'm gon na just apply that color on my stocking cap, because i'm not gon na ball cap method. Myself, like this a closure, i don't have time to be the ball cap method, so i'm gon na put the makeup on there and then i'm gon na take my little handy, dandy, wig and i'm gon na take the pins out before i put it on my Head so i can take the pins out neatly so now that the wig is sitting on the head, i'ma brush the front of my hair backwards, and then i'm gon na push it forward to see how it's sitting. If it's not gon na sit right, you might need to re-curl that section or you might need to cut a little bit more layers than that. So that's what i'm trying to figure out right now so before i continue to play with the little side bangs. Okay, that's what we're gon na call them side bangs! I'M gon na cut the lace off of this unit, so you guys know i like to take the seams off and then i like to take the lace off the seams just helps your wig lay super flat on your head. It gives it the illusion that you might be wearing a frontal when you're really not and you just rock on a 4x4 closure. So that's what i'm about to do right now, so i declared that i needed more layers, so i'll just cut a little bit more and you see like it's just folding into the curl better, so you just got to keep playing with it until you get it Right, don't get scissor happy girl, do not get scissor happy, just just keep playing with it, keep brushing it, maybe keep curling it over until it hits how you want it to hit, but, like i said, i'm not a professional with this. I'M just learning like you guys, but anyway you guys. This is the end of the video. This is how my hair turned out at the end um. I don't like to comb out my the curls in the back i like to leave them and let them fall. I only like to curl out the front. This is my little glueless wig from harula. This is their. I think the 24 inch 4x4 closure wig. I will have all the details down below in the description box, for you guys everything i use in this video will be in the description box, for you guys and until next time, bye best friends, you

Baby jinks: Super cute and I’ve been struggling on how to do proper pin curls so thank you for this!❤️

Jasmine Norice: You make it look easy! You are talented friend. I LOVE the look. Thank you for the tutorial sis. STAY BEAUTIFUL ❤

Hurela Hair: Silky real hair? Super natural looking! Definitely a good protective styles~ Thank you so much for choosing Hurela Hair! Love you honey

Princessa G: Thanks for this. I’m always scared to pluck the hairline

Princessa G: Great tip with the holding spray and the clips

KASH HAUSE: When you got to the top part of your hair and it wasn’t sitting right. You can curl it under with the clip at the top and angle the curler where you want that curl to hit at. Curling the top under it’ll sit like that all day and you won’t get that flip affect when you turn your head

Adwoa Y: This is so timely it’s creepy. I’m curling my friends wig today for her birthday

Beauty by MJ: I feel like over here we only know the press AND flat iron. That lazy flat ironing is not what happens by OG stylists (it was a lot of heat damage though but hair is LAID )

Breanna Reynolds: This was a great tutorial! Could you review Erika J's hold me down with glue please?

Ashleigh Inez.: When I was younger I got my hair hot combed of course. Then as I got older I would just let the beautician use a flat iron and that did the job. Now a days im not doing none of that heat stuff and the day I do I darn sure am not using the hot comb. No ma'am. ‍♀️

Lisa: Do you take orders for wigs or will this one be on the website?

Veronica Onyejiaka: What holding spray did you use?

504darling: Thanks for the tips

Chantele Anthony: Friends don't let friends look wiggy.
