Hi Betty, so in today's video I will be showing you guys the ball cap method for a closure, wig close your unit. So what you're gon na do? Is you start out by putting on the cap you'll be using on the clients head and then putting on the closure we? This is a closure work that I created with one and a half pack hair from the hair store, what a 5x5 closure so right now I do have the wig already hot comb with a curved side part. Sometimes I pre enhance the part. Sometimes I don't, it just depends it she's on, but in this particular hairstyle I was doing. I did already create the part. So when I'm putting it on my clients head, I could go ahead and see how deep the part gon na go. How much of whether you know it's gon na be placed at so I have a good understanding of what its gon na be. Looking like what I'm you know, it's a so once I figure out how to the side or how to the other side of honey. I'M gon na go ahead and take a white pencil and then I'm going to put two marks in one for the beginning and one for the end. There'S no need to do it online. Like I know a friend, oh god become a head and nearly do a whole sketch about the frontal is um cut out, but for the closure closure to be straight across, so you don't really got to do that. It ain't any ear. It'S just for the forehead side to side and so forth. So right now, I'm taking my got to be glue gel and I'm going to blow dry and push back all of her hair. So there's nothing in the way. There'S no extra hair in the way and ain't, none of that everything is pushed back, so we just working on basically forehead and skin. So once I go ahead and do that, I'm gon na take my got to be glue again and I'm going through places, because this is what's gon na put the cap on like the ball came after. This is what's gon na keep it in place and make sure you know our hairline is protected, so you're gon na go ahead and do that and, as you can see, I'm putting me obviously before the white die. It'S not on the right dog. The white dot is just there to give me an idea, but it ain't where I'm actually gon na place. The unit for reissues put it before, where you're really gon na um put the weak. So right now, I'm just cutting out her ear holes, but the way cap, because it's just something about the like shouting limbs on tape, cause. That'S why I got this metaphor. It'S just like God, given especially when you're doing it from ear to ear for front nose. Cutting out your ears is like the best thing if it's him, but I'm taking my spritz to hold down the cap and it's very important that you spritz and not got to be glued free spray, because that is such a more harsher product. On the sensitive hairline, thinning, hairline hairline period, I just feel like that's to be glue. Free spray is just too harsh of a chemical, so I like to use Birds. That'S what I'm more comfortable with first come out with water to just how I got to be glued. Gel comes off with water, you don't have to do extra scrubbing and scraping water will lift it. Why don't I shampoo if you want to be extra lifted, but all I'll be using this water? And it's just coming right up so use. Freeze braids in inhale, ensure they've got to be blue gel and then once you do that you blow-dry it you're. Just gon na want to solve the perimeter and I always make sure I have incorporates a perimeter, so I have something so the cap can be sewn onto I like to do this because, while you're wearing your unit, there will be no rolling of the cap kept Going back no another day when you took off that way that can't stills gon na be on there because it's sewn down and properly Modi, so you want to go ahead and just remove the excess cap. Once you do that, I like to start with a thicker part of the cap, because that, once you cut, that off is just a who. Okay tension is free child. I know cuz. I do this with my own house, which obviously me do what I do on myself, so for real, but um yeah just be careful. You ain't cutting in your clients, hair, and I love that stuff, but right here I just wanted to show you guys what I'm doing with they got some loose fries break cuz. I was just like not telling you how to use it, but I'm just using it because once you finish cutting off the excess cap, there is cap still lifting up and in order to have a seamless, install in the cap paint, you don't see like the indentation And while you have the lace apply, you must melt the cap into your skin, so I'm just taking it guys to be free spray and I'm adding a little bit of product just so that I can have the ends flat down into the skin. And then I'm Harry at the end of a cone in a blow-drying. If you don't do a quick fest in a hurry and the cap gon na be rolling back and it's gon na be a mess. So sometimes, if you don't feel like you have control using the nozzle of this pre sprayer, you could put some of your hand. Do it with your finger and then do it step by step and so you're not comfortable. Sometimes I do it that way. Sometimes I don't - or I put it in my hand it just whatever I'm feeling that day blade, I just took some alcohol on a paper towel and I just cleaned my clients for hair. You want to do this step before I find a glue so that it's clean and with no residue and then you just apply your glue to three layers whatever and it started bad boy met adding to the skin. So I hope you guys enjoyed just a little quick video of how to do the ball cap method. If you guys have any comments, questions or concerns, you already know the deer to go ahead and put that down below, and I will check out in the next one.
