5X5 Closure Wig Install

Me hey guys, so this video is going to be me doing a wig install by unites here. I spent my own money on this wig, so it's not sponsored it's an honest review and you guys just stay tuned and watch to see how i install this wig yeah. So here i'm just showing you guys how the wig looks it's a 5x5 closure with lace. Wig it's 22 inches, and here i'm showing you guys the bleach, the developer and the things i'm going to be using to bleach the knots. So when you're mixing the bleach in the developer, you just want to eyeball it to make sure like it's a good consistency. You don't want it too, runny that it bleeds out onto the hair, but you want it thick enough that it bleaches the knots only and that's it that bleach was so strong, but like here, i'm just going to be preparing the um, the wig for, like the Bleach you're going to just turn the lace inside out so that you can apply it properly and like when you're applying the bleach. You want to be really light-handed so that the bleach doesn't get on on the hair itself. That'S like the main part you want to avoid when you're butchering the wig, you just don't want to bleach the the roots of the hair so like when i was doing this part. I got so scared after applying that first layer of bleach, like i got so skinny and i just washed it off because like the wig is already like pre-bleached, but i wanted to bleach it some more so i didn't want it to like over bleach. So i washed it out in the next clip you'll see like the wig is wet, but, like i washed off that like coat of bleach - and i re-bleached it again like, as you can see right here, i added more bleach and like here. You want to just pull up the hair so like the bleach doesn't get on it but yeah. I was kind of scared about that part, but you know it came out again, as you can see right here. This is how it looked after i washed off the bleach and then now i'm gon na just apply purple shampoo to like get rid of the brassy tone. That bleach usually leaves on the lace so right here, i'm just going to part the hair down the middle. To start plucking, i know people usually leave it like all comb back, but i think this is a safer way if you want to go for a middle part. I think this is a safer way to um pluck because, if you pluck with it all comb back, you can make a ball spot in the middle um in the area where you would put a middle part and that's what i want to avoid so i'll. Just pluck on each side individually, so just like in any regular video that you would see on plucking, you just part out a section of hair pluck there and just continue to do the same thing over and over until you get the desired. Look that you want. So, as i'm plucking, i'm constantly like combing the hair back to see like what i've done and what i need to do. If i need to pluck more, if i plucked enough so i'll go back and forth with combing it back and like parting, it again so right here. This is how much i've plugged compared to the other side, and i think i'm going to go in and like yeah, i'm just going to go in and plug some more and but what i've done so far. I think that's good when i do install it. I do end up plucking some more, but what i've done here, i think, is good enough. So this is how it looked after i was finished. I just sprayed the hair with some heat protectant and i let it dry overnight. Okay, so here i'm doing the ball. Cap method, i'm using the eben wonderlay spray adhesive just to you know, hold the cap down so after spraying that on i'm just gon na use my blow dryer and let it dry so that i could cut off the excess cap after, like everything's all dried. So when you're cutting the cap, you want to get it as close to your hairline as possible, like so sometimes you'll have to pull back the cap and whatnot so that you get a good cut and that's how mine came out came out pretty good and yeah. So here i'm just gon na put on the wig to make sure that i cut enough of the cap and like, if you didn't like you, would just have to go back in and like cut some more off and make sure it's not showing out through the Lace when you put when you put on your wig so now i'm going to mix my two foundations so that i can apply it to the cap to make it look like a mold like i have no hair, that's the goal. So that's what i'm about to do so right here. You can clearly see that i'm bald. I look behold right, yeah right so after you've done that to the ball cap, you want to go ahead and do the same thing to the lace. So it makes for a better melt so like in the back, i'm listening to michael jackson and like he go crazy, like get into it, get into it. So after you've applied the foundation to the lace, you want to go in with the same adhesive spray and you know just set the foundation in and then you want to go in with the blow. Dryer make sure it's dry. So, as you can see like as soon as i put the wig on like it's skipping scout where's, the lace help me find it doorday explorer where's the lace. Somebody tell me those two little end tabs on the side of the wig. You just want to cut those off so that you get a more natural like melt. So, like the lace, doesn't look bumpy on those two ends. So here i'm going in with some rubbing alcohol, i'm just going to clean off, like my forehead so like i have like a clean base to apply the glue, so i'm going to go in and apply like three layers of glue and you want to make sure Each layer dries to the point where it's clear before you put on the next layer. See like this is my first closure, and this is what i love about it like all you got to do is glue down that piece right there and like look how easy it is to just like comb the lace into your skin. I mean full lace is good too, but like this, this works. So you know after you comb it in. You want to go in with an elastic band and then that's when the action starts to happen like if you don't have an elastic band for the melt. It'S not gon na work, it's literally not gon na work, so you need an elastic band in order to melt the lace into your skin. So while the elastics are on, you want to go in with your hot comb and you know just make the top half of the wave look more flatter and natural. So you want to go in just small sections, part of small sections and use your wax stick and just make everything up top flat. So like that's how it should look like you just want to go for that. Look on the other side want to make sure everything is neat and flat. It looks cute so after that i took off the elastic band and i started hot comb in the front part of the wig, which is for the look i wanted like. I would have to do that so then. I used more of the adhesive spray and then i ended up putting back on the elastic band just for like extra hold, so that, like it melts even more so like now, i'm just continuing to use a hot comb, making sure everything's flat and looks the way. I want it to look so now, i'm just parting, my hair off into two sections so that i could go ahead and like curl each side. I don't know why. I just smelled the curling iron like that. But now i'm just gon na go into sections and just curl each piece to the way i want it. I was really moving so fast, but after i did my curls i went in and i used a layering comb and started cutting layers in the front and started re-curling like certain pieces that i wanted to look more defined. So, like some girls on that side still look a little fuzzy. That'S because i was like cutting layers throughout the process, but yeah it would look different towards the end. I actually ended up cutting the and styling the edges off camera because i couldn't do it on camera. It was just too much for me, so i'm just gon na cut to the last clip where i'll show you guys how everything looks. So this is how everything turned out.
