Beginner Friendly 5X5 Lace Closure Wig Install | Very Detailed| How To Install 5X5 Closure Wig

Mom, what's up you guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, just maya! So today, guys by the title of this video, you already know what is going on. I'M gon na be giving you guys a quick and easy tutorial on how to lay your freaking lace closure. Let me say this guys: i am not no professional. This was literally like my first time ever like laying one and feeling kind of confident to wear it out. Um, i'm not going to say i'm perfect at it. It is some things that i need to like really really work on, but i want to say, like i'm a beginner, so i feel like this is kind of like beginner, easy, beginner, friendly or whatever, and i feel like you guys will probably you know catch on To it as well also, i do want to give a quick shout out to doll by dash. All right, y'all so first thing: first, we're going to put this hair back into a ponytail um. Yes, what mad wow y'all and we're going to put this cap on, and what we're about to do now is spray it down with got to be glue spray. My first mistake that i've seen that i should have done was pull it over my ears. I thought because i was focusing on just because i had a five by five. I was only focusing on that middle part that i didn't have to pull it over my ears, but i think um. It would have been just way easier if i would pull on my ear, but as you can see here, i'm just showing you guys what area? I'M focusing on and then we're just going to take these big ass grandma scissors and we're going to cut that cap to where we are as close as possible to our hairline. As you can see, your girl was on the phone talking and watching tv. So i kind of sprayed it's got the blue spray, like damn near on my eyes, so you don't want to do that. I feel like that was too low. So most definitely that was a mistake that i you know caught but yeah we're gon na speed. This up, y'all y'all, please don't be like me - make sure you get a powder foundation that matches your skin tone, see uh. I didn't have time to go to the hairstyle to find one that matches me. So i literally used some powder that i had sitting in my makeup bag from like eight years ago, but if you got some powder foundation make sure it is as close to your skin tone as possible. I think this is what makes the frontal or your closure look as natural as possible. Also, as you can see, i'm only focusing on that middle part, because i have a 5x5 and not a frontal, so i'm not putting this foundation from ear to ear. I'M only placing it in the middle, where i know my lace will be showing okay guys. So, as you can see right now, i'm just going back in and trying to make sure my cap is as dark as possible and after i do this, i'm going to take some alcohol and rub it around my edges. Just to get that excess got to be glued off of my skull y'all. So that's what i'm doing right now now it's time to put on this wig! So i'm just putting this on just to measure how i want it to sit on my head and where i want it, and now we're going to actually go in with this glue. What we're gon na do is put two to three layers on so the first layer you're gon na put on and then you're gon na, take the end of a comb and you're gon na push it back and then we're gon na blow dry. It you're gon na repeat this step two to three times um once you blow dry it and it turns like a clear and it's tacky. That'S when you know that it is red d, ready, honey and i'm gon na show you guys how it's supposed to look when it's ready, y'all. I find this to be the hardest part trying to put the wig on after you put the glue, i feel like um. For my first time i did pretty okay, but the struggle that i have is the hair is sticking to the glue and i need to figure out how to stop that. So if you guys know any tips on what i can do to maybe stop that from happening. Please drop down in my comment section below and give any type of tips and tricks that you guys use i'm open to any type of criticism like i would love to know. I feel like um honestly. Every girl should want to know uh learn how to do their hair to save them a little dollar, and i can say, but it's good, so the better. I get that this, the more i would stop paying cause y'all these. Let me be honest. Let me can i can i can i talk to you yeah. So these wigs for the amount of money we'd be paying to get our hair done. They do not be lasting as long as we'd be paying we'd be paying brain prices, and these heads won't be lasting as long as braids yeah. I can get my hair done right now and almost a week later, it's it's. You know i have to reapply it or you know you know, fix it up. So why not want to learn how to do it yourself? Why not you guys have any type of tricks or tips on how i can stop this hair from sticking to my skull, because, as you can see, i'm putting alcohol down to get the excess glue off, but it's not working so help me help help me just Help me off so um, i'm tying this down, because i don't have that um, that's how i think the girls be having. So i have my scarf, and this is what i'm talking about see see how it's sticking. It'S sticking. I mean it literally took me all like 10 minutes just to unstick this from my head and to get it to look like how i want it to look. If i had to say anything that i would do over, it would probably be like try to work on when i lay my lace, not getting the hair stuck to the glue, and i think i figured out why that happened to me. I think it's because i was um. I put the glue too far up here and when i lay the lace, some of the extra hair just sticks there. So i need to know exactly where i'm about to lay my lace so that you know okay also, my camera died but honestly guys. Thank you guys for watching.
