Today, I'm going to be doing a video that I normally don't do on my channel and that is wig updates. The reason why I don't do wig updates on my channel. That much is because I don't wear my wigs a lot of my wigs enough to give you guys a good update video. So I want to waste your time and I don't wan na waste my time filming if I haven't worn the wig enough to give you guys a good update, but today I'm going to be giving you guys a update on our tres Dominican blowout straight. I have worn this week pretty much for about three weeks straight, because this is my work wig. I wear this wig to work every day and I've done that for about three weeks. This is going to be like a real update because a lot of times I just kind of throw this wig around and I haven't um flat ironed it and I haven't watched it yet so um. This is how it looks three weeks later after I've done after I did my initial review. This one was in the color number four. This is what the ends look like right now they are pretty. You know stiff and tangled right now, not so much tangled, but they're really stiff and dry. So at this point, when your wig starts to look like this, you can go ahead and you know flat iron it and do all those kinds of things to it. I think I'm going to try to flat iron this wig and see how it does now, probably like a week into wearing this week. I had my flat iron on and it was on my 425 degrees and this week synthetic wigs can't be curled that high and for some reason I decided to UM. You know test a little strip of my hair in the under part here and this week disintegrated. Like it was just a little spot, so the wig is fine, but this wig just melted, really fast, so don't curl or flat on your wig on that high of a heat setting yeah. So I think I'm going to wash this wig and try to flat iron. It out what I've experienced with this wig was wearing it every day it does tango. I haven't experienced any shedding honestly and I tweeze this part. I pulled hairs out apart, but I haven't experienced much shedding at all, but tangling has been my issue with this week, but I think to wear this wig pretty much pretty much three weeks of three weeks straight. I think it's held up really well and I always suggest you and other we review stairs. They suggest for longevity, for your wig, don't wear it everyday, but when I used to work in retail, I used to change my wig like every day, but I work at a middle school now and I don't like people in my business asking me questions about my Hair, so I try to keep a consistent. You know hairstyle, for you know, maybe a month or something like that. So that's why I've been wearing this week so consistently and it's held up really well, I usually wear it with got to be glue like this work. This particular wig worked so well with the got speed glue. What I do is when I'm putting on my makeup and stuff. In the morning I put my primer on wait. I put the got to be glued like in my parting space and I let it sit. While I put my primer on and after I'm finished with my primer, then I put the wig on top of it and then it just stays all day and it does not move. So if you bought this wig and you're experiencing some sliding or something like that, usually got to be glued now with the gospel glue, it does not work with some of my soft lace, wigs some of them it does, but some of them it doesn't, but it Works really well with this particular week for me yeah this wig is holding up so well I'm going to put this on my list of favorites. I know last year I did a week favorites list. This one is definitely on that list. The more weeks that I try out this year, I'll do another list for you guys, but this one is officially on that list so much so that I bought. I bought another number four like this one, and then I bought a number two and a dr 30. So what I want to do is I'm going to I'm going to try those wigs off for you guys, so you can see those colors, but not just yet something else. I want to mention to you guys I'm not going to try those wigs on, but the free tres trinity, wig, I've worn that wig, probably one other time and I've come to the conclusion that I don't care for that wig as much as everybody else does um. I think this week I think this week is better than that wig. In my opinion, I would choose this wig over free, tres Trinity. It'S the lace situation just doesn't work for me. I haven't even tried the elastic band method and that might work and all that, but I don't feel like investing that much time into that wig. So I'm probably going to sell my free tres Trinity. I just I can't with that wig I just after I tried this wig on and it was so simple to lay flat look natural. I just haven't worn free tres Trinity at all um. I don't want my till yet, but I'm probably going to give Tilly another chance, but Trinity, I'm probably just gon na I'm probably going to sell my freakish Trinity, even though you can do a lot of things to make your soft lace wigs work. A lot of time, I don't feel like doing all that, especially if I'm going to wear it as a work wig. I just want something: that's going to stay in place all day, and this has done it for me. So I really like this week, um yeah. So I'm going to try on the other two colors just so you guys can see this. This number four color is just so pretty and it just brightens my skintone up, I really like number fours now, but I'm going to show you guys what the dr 30 looks like, and the number two looks like on me so hold on one second, okay, guys. So this is Dominican blowout straight in a number two, and I knew I was going to love how it looks in a number two, because I loved how it looked at a number four - and this is like my natural hair color, so it blends in so well. I did tweets apart on it before I got on camera, and then I just put my Maybelline fit me press powder and my parting space, and I use the color 330 and toffee, and it just looks so me and natural, and this is why I wear it. Every day, because I think it's about 18 inches, so it's not like too much hair. It is a little bit on the longer side for every day week, but I mean it's not too much hair for me yeah. So this is what the number two looks like. I think it's very nice and very natural okay guys - and this is the last one I'm going to show you guys. This is Dominican blowout straight again in the color dr 30, and i wanted to get it and you know natural. I wanted to get it in the solid color, so number two and the four and i did want to get this ombre color because i saw i saw muffins is my lover. She did a review on this week and i think she had in this particular color and it looked very beautiful on her, and so i wanted to try it out too, and i think it's so pretty. If there are other videos that you guys would like to see, especially now, since I'm on spring break, definitely put it in the comment section and I'll try to get to it. Shelby Steele: Girl I work with middle schoolers too so I totally get it! You cannot change your hair without the seas parting. It is such a huge deal to them and the questions never end. I only change my hair after xmas break and they hardly notice but Im stuck with the same look until summer break lol
Misty Day Blog: flat ironing changes the texture. when it gets stiff. just dip the ends in cream of nature morrocan conditioner. its in a red and gold bottle. It brings so much life back to your ends. have lasted 2 months. I cant revitalize passed that.

I know you really like the darker colors, but with your skin tone, the lighter colors really look pretty on you. I think they bring out your skin tone better than the darker colors.

FlawlessAndFancy: Thank you for doing this update Britt, cuz I was thinking of getting it over the Trinity, and now that you have done this update, I am gonna go with your recommendation. I have Debi by Mowtowntress that I have been wearing constantly for about 3-4 weeks. I have washed it, but with a cleansing conditioner. It has held up pretty well. I use Silicon Mix on the ends and I find that helps keep that area soft and 'unratty'. Love your makeup. And you slaying with that DR30 color! Yeasssss!!

Addicted to All Things Thrifty: dip it in boiling water. I always wash my synthetics in warm water with a cap full of liquid fabric softener and they soften and straighten back out. I am reading everyone comments and I am applaud I have been told "oh that's a cute wig" in front of people and I just keep quiet until we where alone and advised that person of how rude that was and what if I was someone that had to wear the due to medical conditions. Then this person really tried it. She would always make comments about trying "a Wig" or just going to buy "a Wig" until we had a long talk with HR and she was transferred to a different area. Now I tried to be nice until we had to go there.

I work at a middle school also, and I'm the same way as far as attention in my hair. Purple Blossom is my work hair. I have 3 of them. I started off switching wigs every two weeks, and wearing my other styles on the weekends. Now my Purple Blossoms are so old they stiffen after a week, so I switch up more often. I'm looking for a new bob for the summer and new school year.

Danny: I hv purchased 2 of these in a number 4. I love it! On wk 4 & by 2 washes. 1 is still fresh & in the pk. The other, well folk think it is my hair. My hair is about armpit length, but this is bra strap length. I wish it came in a 6 or a color 8 so my edges wouldn't be lighter than the wig. Honestly, I wouldn't hv washed it twice if I had not been wearing it as a middle part the 1st 2 wks & it wasn't sweater season. This is a spray a little Downy sensitive on it & go wig. Thx 4 the update. That's what sold me on this purchase, seeing actual wear & tare

FYI...I wash my wigs a lot more often than you...like every week bc dont like that "outside" smell. After I washed conditioned and air dried it seems like the lace tightened some? Also, I started putting in one perimeter braid bc all my wigs would slide back. That braid keeps the lace nice and tight to my head

Hanging with the Smiths: I got this wig and its waaaay big. I think my braids are too thick (I used your pattern, but maybe I need to make them smaller?) I straightened it, but now it's too straight and synthetic-looking since the heat makes it lose the yaki texture. Any suggestions other than braiding flatter?

Superkalefragilistic: If you lightly spray with water then flat iron on 320-350, you can curl or refresh. The curl will hold a few days if you don't sleep in it. I'm guessing the steam does the trick for the newer synthetics. Btw, New subbie.. Love your reviews, I purchased Yaki 18 and FNH as a result!!
