6 Cool Tone Wigs And Top Pieces On Susan (Official Godiva'S Secret Wigs Video)

Hi, i'm rochelle the mother of the mother-daughter team of godiva's secret wigs and this video is part of a wig party that i had done and we are showcasing some of our most amazing products, so i hope you enjoy. I have some really fun things and we're going to see what you, if you like, any of it or not, but i'm what i learned that you were looking for is some top pieces and some short mid-length, wigs. Yes, okay, that's what we're doing, and maybe a couple surprises here for you, okay right and we are our own worst judges. You know so, okay, so the color! I may not have your identical color or i may not have it with me at this moment. So just know that all of our items come in different colors, but this is called a monofilament medium top. They are magical and all they do is give you a little more fullness at the top and brush and blend in. For those of you, you have one little thin spot up here and you you'll say to me: i just want a little thing for right there. Well, that is not going to look realistic because it needs to make sense all on your head. Do you know what i'm saying if i just can't have a little piece there, because it's got to work all over, so this is very light and this is called a monofilament top. So i'm going to show you do you see my fingers, so this piece is so thin that you can. Do you see my fingers? It is all hand done hair by hair, but i want you to look. Do you see my fingers coming through hi and let me show the camera, so this is all open all hand done. Maybe you can see it like that. So the thing you know my i started the business in 1997 and i have a store. 25 years old. It'S still in woodland, hills, california, and i've worked with women all over the country at women's expo. So we really we're not just on the website. We have really worked for most of my life and i've been wearing wigs over 40 years. I say that because metal clips are what clip your hair most companies do not have a little rubber gripper see this, so it's got a little rubber gripper under the metal clip. So when you snap it to your hair, it's being held gently against the plastic. The rubber, instead of just the metal, so it's just another way, because we really we know you want to keep all the hair you have. So that's what this is about. I could trim the bangs to just thicken the hair a little bit at the bang, and you see how long that took me. You can look straight ahead, so a monofilament top piece is going to be flatter because remember i talked to you about machine teasing. Like my wig is machine teeth it always gives a lift. A monofilament piece, wig or top piece is done, hair by hair. There'S no machine teasing. So do you see how it's flatter? Okay? Now i'm going to show you the difference by putting on one of my very favorite, we do many different top pieces, but i want to show you one that is machine teased. How does that feel? On you fine, very light right, good, good good and you just lower it down. So it doesn't pull your hair. You don't just pull it off, so you know i teach clients just to treat the pieces and wigs like expensive lingerie. You know and you'll keep it better longer and it will look better so much longer. Don'T let the grandkids play with your wigs, don't leave it where the dog thinks it's a play toy. You know. So i'm going to put on you now. This top is called taylor top, so you can already see what it's going to look like it's amazing. So, let's i'm going to move your hair back just a little. So again, the most important part is clipping where you think the right place is and if it's not right like i want to go a little longer, because i think you like longer bangs right, okay, so i'm going to go right to the hairline. So can you get see the illusion already and i've done nothing? This is taylor yeah. This is taylor top 20 years off yeah oops. I keep walking in frame. So do you agree? The front is good. Okay. Susan'S hair is shorter. So what i would do you decide? Am i going to let my hair grow a little bit or do i want the piece trimmed a little bit? The piece can easily be trimmed and if you're not near a godiva secret consultant, you can go to a hairdresser and just put it on. But you put it on how you want, and you say just have them start longer than it should be, because this doesn't grow back. You know, but i can do many many things just to show you. A few different looks with any top piece, but this is tailor top. I can pull the sides i can twist them. I can pull back super cute. Isn'T that great? Let'S hear it yeah really cute. Can you turn just so everybody can see the back. I just i didn't do anything special. You know i try. Okay, try not to make it perfect, because perfect looks phony. So if you want a wig or a hair piece to look natural, just put your sunglasses on top of it and then no one ever thinks. There'S anything on your head honestly. Isn'T that cute? That'S the way i want to wear my hair too, is the the front pulled back okay? Well, then, you can and then let me show you what else just some little simple little tricks with any top piece. Can you hold that for me for just a minute? So let's say it's a hot day: you love the bangs, but you want to put your hair up. You could put taylor top or any of our top pieces in a pony, but also, if i twist down low and then bring it up, i can clip it up. Maybe she could curl a little bit of that hair or tuck it in okay turn all the way around. Can you turn a little bit more? Thank you see so an updo but you're keeping the illusion. Thank you of the bangs and the fullness. Did you see yourself yeah? Yes, so this is taylor top i love to wear it just i like to put it behind my ears and then pull this forward. I mean i, when my roots are growing out. It'S a great reason to wear a wig or a top piece, because my gray roots are showing in a week and a half, so i put a top piece or a wig on and it buys me another couple of weeks. If i want - and i just think that's great so for those of you that love taylor top - we do a wig called taylor, it's a full wig, it's just a little bit longer, so a lot of clients will have a tailor top and a wig, and when Your hair is a filthy mess or whatever you put the wig on that's what they're for convenience and when you like how your hair is, but you want a little more fullness. You wear the top and just knowing i could tease this up, i could give it more heights. You know you can tease these and you see the root, that's what makes it look youthful. So that is tailor top. I can see so i roll it up away and lower it down, and then it doesn't pull the hair. So now i'm putting you in some wigs, because i can't wait. I'Ve chosen some for you that i just love, so my clients really do have hair wardrobes and the main thing they say is why the heck did they wait so long? You know the fear. So there is your color and i knew it was, but i didn't have it with me: your color is frosted taupe and it's a gorgeous color for a lot of women that aren't ready to go gray yet, but they want something softer. Frosty taupe is amazing, and taylor top does come this way. So i made a little bun way down low. You never make a bun up at the top for a wig, because it's the wig will not sit nice and tight on your head. All of our wigs have adjustment straps in the back, so you can tighten it like bra straps, okay and that's all our wigs are all open and airy. So i can put my fingers through the whole wig. So our wigs don't inhibit your hair growth, which is important. Can you see already get the get the feel up at the hairline? And yes, yes, look at this. Do you see yourself wow? Yes, so do you see what this did? What this did was lift her lifted, her she's got beautiful, jawline and the longer longer hair is okay, fine, but these little tickles were wearing the same wig. Okay - and i put it damp because honestly, my hair will be like this - that's why i fell in love with wigs because to me there's a lot of women in here, besides the one that was born with this hair. So sometimes i love my hair. My husband loves it, but then that other woman is like hmm. I want to look like freedom. Oh, i want to look like peggy or i want to look like candace or i want to look like tiffany or kelly, and i get to do it so even with long hair, i'm just slicking my hair back down low, just like i do on everybody, and This loop is going to be under the wig, and this hair is under the wig, so we have the same wig on freedom, so all i do is i shake it. I hold the back by the way this wig is about six years old. I put it low, i start low because i'm using my forehead like a gripper to hold the wig and then i'm turning around tucking in my hair with my thumbs. Okay, so now it's too low. Do you see that that's like never wear your wigs too low! So, instead of going like this and flattening the wig, i lift it to my hairline and you stop. Then all of our wigs have little tabs. That'S so you grab the tabs, you make sure they're even and then i do my little playing. So that's how easy it is so my color is nutmeg f in freedom, and this color is frosted taupe and absolutely gorgeous right. Okay, all right! Let'S see how my next choices are, but i you can't do better, really i'm proud of myself. So for the audience i've never met susan before, but i saw a picture and so i'm picking some styles and colors that i think she'll like or that i wanted to show you something different. So i want to take you deeper. This wig is called sabrina. It'S great, the color is mochaccino. Now you see why our clients own two to twenty wigs yeah. I wanted to see a little more warmth on susan, not like frosted taupe color is not good, so i just want to be clear. It'S not like this is not good it's. What do i feel? Who do i feel like being so and turn all the way around. This is an a line. It'S called sabrina. It'S amazing these little pieces, that's sabrina, okay, so cute wow right did. I do anything to it great and again: machine teasing means it won't be flat, but i was talking with lynn before. If you keep brushing a wig, you own the same way same way same way. It ends up being flat and you think what happened to my wig - it's not full anymore, so our wigs have what we call memory curl. So before you put a wig on brush it every which way don't give it a memory and that will keep it fuller. So, look i just switched parts yeah. I just changed the part, and you see that so i could make it fuller. Some clients want it. Fuller i can tease with our teasing brush. I can put a little behind. I love the whole behind the ear thing. A little bit - and i want to hide her hair, her hair here. How can i do that? A couple ways we have a little like a mascara wand for hair. It'S called mask a gray. So if she owned this color wig, she might have a medium brown mask a gray, put a touch like i'll put it on a little toothbrush, put just a touch right there, and then you don't see it. Otherwise, you turn look to your left a minute. I can just dip this hair down a little bit wet her hair to really tighten it up and have some pieces hanging and again no one's going, hi susan, you know and checking out wherever so isn't that a great look yeah great model. Okay. So now i'm going to take you another whole direction and color. This is creamy toffee nope wrong. One! I'M going to take you in aria. The color is creamy toffee, because creamy toffee is the color of the taylor top i put on susan and i had a feeling it was going to be a really good color on her. So i wanted to see a full wig, so this is just like susan's hair right, very close, so up at the hairline and that's it. Can you just turn your head like this? I want to see how the wig flows it just moves great yeah. It'S cute! Isn'T that cute yeah? Yes, yes, the color, creamy toffee yeah, it's beautiful, i live in it, and so, if you find a color, you fall in love with i've been many colors, but the last few years i love creamy toffees. So i always take a wig or my hair piece to my hairdresser, and i say please make me this color or please keep me this color, because hairdressers they're very creative if they haven't written down their formula, they're going to be in the mood to give you A little more warmth, but you want what you want, so it really helps instead of talking colors with words to show them, because then they can use their swatches. So you see same creamy toffee great on you, too yeah you're, you're, amazing and everything. Okay. Now this i want to see champagne, so i love champagne on my one of my dearest friends and i just did a video about. We love champagne but champagne, wigs, because it's just out there, it's edgy, it's different amazing right. So this is trixie. This wig is called trixie. The color is champagne. Champagne comes this way. We look down just a little bit the roots. So when we say our wigs are rooted, they're rooted throughout the whole piece. Okay and again, i would just trim just enough to get the hair out of susan's eyes, because that hair will make you nuts, so you can even do it yourself and then everyone loves this wispy around the face yeah, i love trixie on you, yeah and again So you're getting it, this is, you know the first week is the hardest and honestly many people take two or three the first time, because you want to see yourself different ways and my clients and me we stop buying shoes. We buy wigs because it's a lot more fun to look good here. You know so anyway. That is what i have for susan. Beautiful this wig is freedom in frosted toe. I do like the warm ton of the gold. It'S just it's stunning, it's sophisticated. Can you see her getting dressed up or just looking very classy in anything she puts on it's funny, wigs make your clothes look new. They really do when you have a different style.
