Wig Install: No Glue Or Bald Cap Method! Ft. Incolorwig

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be showing you guys how i got this papa install featuring this balm wig from in color wigs i've worked with them before they basically offer like pre-colored trendy. You know on trend units um for the logo, so you basically see something that's popping circulating on social media go to in color, wigs they got it, you want ginger, they got it, you want highlights, they got it, they got all of it. Okay, so make sure you guys check them out, but in addition to this bomb wig i also wanted to kind of go more in depth on my installs. You guys know i don't do glue on this channel. I don't do the ball cap method, so i kind of want to talk more about that because i feel, like a lot of people, are intimidated by the lace frontal. You know installation process when in reality, it like takes me like 15 minutes to install my wig like actually install it can take like 15 to 20 minutes, tops okay, styling and all that's a different thing, but installing your wig doesn't have to be hard like it Really doesn't, but my installs again work for me, but i just want to share it with you and maybe, if you're, struggling or intimidated by this whole lace game lace. You know i don't even know what to call but you're if you're intimidated by lace. I'M here to tell you it's okay, if i could do it, you could do it. Guys so before i give you guys a t on this wig install, we need to get the hair underneath the wig together. So i like to apply this olaplex oil to my hair. I just put a little bit. I rub it through my hair, massage it through my scalp all that just to keep my hair moisturized underneath because my hair is dry, then i use this um smoothing gel. I love this gel so so much because it doesn't get dry, it doesn't get hard. It kind of refreshes, my hair with the products that i use to lay my lace. Sometimes my edges or my hair can get a little bit hard and when i put this on, it's like a refresher, it's like i just like washed my hair and i'm just like slicking it back like this gel is amazing, so i prefer to put my hair In a low ponytail, because i'm really really tender headed and i don't know how to braid so hey i do what i can so. I just put in a low ponytail and it's like a little tiny bun in the back of my head and my buns getting kind of big, because your girl's hair is growing. It started growing out of nowhere. So, as you can see, my hair got super slick. Super fast so now to the fun part black wig cap, you guys we're not doing a ball cap. We don't do ball caps, we're doing a we're doing a black wig cap. So i just put that on. I don't use a nude one, because if you use a nude one, it's gon na actually show underneath your um wig. So it's best to just use a black. So it kind of mimics your hair, and i promise you it's not gon na make or break your install. It'S okay, you don't have to use a ball cap. The ball cap is so complicated, it's just so stressful, so we're taking the easy way out. So i'm just showing you guys the wig, like i said in the beginning of the video this wig is from in color wigs and it's a pre highlighted units honey. So nice and brown, some warm browns um with the 1b color going on and the wig was beautiful, the density, the lace, the everything i loved it. I did pluck the wig off camera bleached the knots and washed it and all that fun stuff, but back to the install. So, as you can see, once i put the wig on, it looks fine, like honestly, people try to say that the ball cap is like this huge protective met, uh method, almost a mechanism method, but i mean i personally feel like i've. Had the bald cap itself pull my hair out more than this lace. Like i check my wigs every time, i take my my wig off and i never have any um strands of hair. So i'ma stick with this. Unless i'm being fancy, so do what you do, i'm just showing you what i do so now, i'm cleaning my hairline! This is very, very important because we are putting the lace on our skin and this adhesive on our skin. You want to protect, it, make sure it's clean and make sure that we have as long of a lace hold as we can um. As you can see on the lace too, there's a few holes in there. I was plucking plucking plucking baby, because i was trying to get it right, but it is what it is. The lace is still gon na lay the same look the same. It doesn't affect the wear or the look of the wig. So now i'm putting on the shea moisture bonding glue - i kind of use it more so as a gel to slick my hair back some more so that i really really really don't take out any of my hair. This is really going to like mold and set my hair back. So that's really why none of my hair ever comes out because even before using this product i would typically use like an actual gel or like hairspray and and slick it back, so that i don't have any issues. So i do that, and not only does it slick my hair back. It also helps with the hold of my wig, because it is a not permanent. It'S a semi, not semi-permanent. It'S a temporary um lace hold, so it helps with that. So after that i do spray my even spray, i push the lace onto the product, put my elastic band on and you know i figure out how to style my hair and then i go from there. So just watch the next few clips study. It run it back if you need to and i'll be back. Hmm, oh is, let's take this changes all right. So once you let that elastic band sit on your lace or your edges, your new hairline. For a few minutes it could be anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. It could be even five minutes. It just depends some days just wait until it's dry. It doesn't take long, though, and then just cut the lace i like to use little scissors and i like to use a little jagged edge zigzag motion. Um you can use a razor. I don't really like the razor, because i feel like sometime. I cut too close to the lace and i don't like that. I like to leave a little bit of lace on to the wig so that it gives more of like a scalp hair line. When you cut too close to the hairline y'all, it doesn't give, it really doesn't leave a little bit of lace for you to work with. So i cut the lace and then i do melt the lace again because it is gon na with this particular method. It'S gon na leave a little bit of a white cast, so you're gon na wan na spray. It again after pulling out your baby hairs or not even baby hair is your quote-unquote new hairline? If that's, what you like, you guys are going to see me do that in a few seconds and then you're going to melt it again for another few minutes and while that's melting the second time i prefer to style my hair, because i like to kill two Birds with one stone, i'm not trying to do my hair all day so um, i do style my hair, while it's melting again and then i cut my baby hairs and do all that fun stuff. So just sit back enjoy relax. You know i'm saying and yeah. I me me, i don't know you're driving me crazy. Me been willing bicycles, since i was six high school to cross overweight. The way pics music is the same, gave away so much get it together. Forget it forever. When i go at you hard, i can get it deliver. You act like king pain is tell me what you like. I got a yellow bottle on a bucket of ice and, as you guys can see, i'm back with the curling wand. It'S so much faster. My curls come out fluffier. I don't know why i was trying to be extra. I mean i love the curling iron, but the curling wand. Just does something for me. So um, i'm just kind of shaping my hair, seeing how i want the curls to fall. How i wanted to frame my face, i did layer, the hair off camera. You guys have seen me do that a million at one time same ol, samo and then after that, i'm gon na proceed to laying the lace a little bit more and doing my baby hairs and that's pretty much it you guys. This install was super easy. I actually really really like this wig when it was curled the color it just popped.
