How To Dye Your Old Wig Burgundy At Home?

We have fun here um and today i have a fun video, where i am transforming my old wig honestly a week, you've been bored, i've had it for like four years, and i was just over it. It was just one of those weeks that i would wear when i'm just sitting at home chilling - and i was like you know what why not use it up. Why not do something different um, and this is about to be my favorite wig honey, because wow like look at the color - and i did this like - i clearly understood the assignment um, i'm so in love with the results um. Can you address that, first and foremost like look at this? Who is she who is she? I cannot believe that i did this like. I am so proud of myself. It is giving okay, it is giving what it was supposed to give. These are the products that i'm gon na use. I'M gon na use k blonde highlight kit. This will be to strip the hem off the natural color and then i'm gon na go in with the new, perfect color in the shade, ruby flame, deep violet red um. Also, i'm going to mix it with the color infusion in the shade burgundy. All these products are available at disc cam. I will link all these products down below in the description box. So now i'm going to add the coloring powder, i'm gon na use my highlight cream activator to mix with the coloring powder, i'm gon na gradually mix. Until i get the desired consistency, this should be the consistency of the dye. This is my hair, i've combed it out, and now i'm going to start applying the bleach to my hair. Oh, this is the hair, as you guys can already see it's starting to change. Color um, but i feel like this is not coated enough, so i'm going to use them the pre-lightening powder from the renew package and we'll see what happens to make sure you are within a well ventilated room, because this thing is so strong. I feel like i'm choking literally that's how strong it is also with your gloves. So now i'm just mixing this together and i'm gon na i'm gon na coat. It further coat my hair further and then just leave it for 15 minutes. To do its thing, then, i'm going to rinse it off okay, so this is the aftermath um, as you can already see, the hair is starting to bleach. Honestly, i feel like i didn't evenly coat everything even though i used two different um lightening powders, but you know what at this point, we just have to cover it up. I'M gon na leave it for about 15 minutes and then i'm going to rinse everything off and we'll see how everything looks at the end and foil really helps the developer or the bleach or the dye work faster. So that's why i've covered it in foil. I'M also trying to keep my roots black so we'll see what happens. The hair has been bleaching about 30 minutes and i've been checking it regularly. I want it to be as blonde as possible so that the color can so that the hair can take to the color, basically so yeah. So this is the hair right now, i'm gon na apply the color um i've. Let it air dry for a little bit. It'S not fully dry, but i think i can work with it also now i have a strategy. It was very hectic putting on the bleach. So now i'm gon na work in three parts um, as opposed to just just doing the whole thing all at once. I think that will be more manageable and yeah we'll see what happens um um. This is how we're looking so far. Now i'm just gon na let this wig sit for 20 to 25 minutes and then we'll see the final result. Okay guys. So it's been 15 minutes so now i'm going to check on the hair um i'd highly, advise that you use 50 minute intervals to check on the hair and see if the hair is. You know the desired color. So this is how we're looking um. It'S definitely working, i don't see any blonde streaks. I think i would leave it for another 15 or 10 minutes, another 10 extra minutes and then i'm gon na rinse this off. It'S been 25 minutes, and this is how the color is looking uh, i'm not sure if i should rinse it off or leave it for like 10. More minutes, honestly, the color looks kind of purple to me. I'M also color blind. So i don't know what's happening right now: um, i think i'm gon na leave it for ten more minutes and then i'm gon na rinse it out that is it you guys for this video, and this is the look that i achieved. I absolutely love it. I was going for a burgundy topper look, even though, when i dyed it, i was like this thing looks more purple than burgundy, but this color honestly, it is amazing, it is perfect. It is better than what i initially wanted. So i'm super excited and i'm so happy. I hope this video inspires you guys not to sleep on your old, wigs, honey um.
