Okay, everybody, it's fall, and what does that mean? It means that many of our favorite designers are coming out with their fall collections, and i am so excited to share this one with you. So, as you know, i'm a huge fan of raquel welch wigs, and this is one of their brand new styles out of their 2022 fall collection, and this is called portrait mode. But i'm excited because i have that in three different colors to share with you. So stay tuned, so if you're in love with this style as much as i am you're going to want to head over to wigs by paddy's pearls and get your order in because i honestly believe that this style is gon na go quickly. So you may have heard me talk about one reason why i love my raquel welch. Wigs is because, typically right out of the box, they are good to go and this portrait mode - and i have portrait mode on my head right now and shaded biscuit - was perfect right out of the box. So for me, personally, portrait mode is the perfect length. I could be very comfortable wearing this at work in a professional environment, but i could also style this up and make it fun and head out on the town out for dinner or a date night. So i love the versatility of this piece. In my opinion, one of the best things about portrait mode is it's low density. So if you're somebody that loves lower density, wigs and likes a lighter wig, then you want to check out portrait mode. So this wig comes in at very light at only 3.5 ounces, which is incredible. Okay, so i'm clearly excited about this one right. I think that you're getting that and i'll do a turn so that you can see portrait mode on all sides, but earlier i mentioned the density and the low density on this piece, which i think a lot of you are really going to love. So i can very because of that lower density. I can absolutely you know i can ear tuck on both sides. It feels very light on my head. The hair movement is incredible, so why don't? I do a turn so that you can see it on all sides. So this is the front. This is my right side and you've got those. You know smooth layers that really create some really beautiful movement on this piece. There'S the back my left side and then back to the front. So some of the cat features that you may be interested in knowing about are the extended lace front, so you've got that lace front. That runs all the way into the ear tabs. That'S a little bit of my bio hair sticking out, but i've got great coverage on either side, as you can see, the it has a full monofilament top and what i'm finding is that these hairs will really move. If you want to easily move it from the left side to the middle to the right side, so there you go, there is the uh, let it i have it parted on the left hand side, but you could very easily just with your finger like look at How that hair moves from one parting position to the next? That doesn't always happen with all wigs to me. It'S about cap construction, it's about quality of the construction of this piece that allows these fibers to move from place to place, and then, if i was to part it on the right hand, side there's that illusion of scalp, and do you see how easy it is To move around this part, i'm not having to you know redirect the fibers i'm not having to use the heat of my hands. It'S just moving around that beautifully. So why don't i share with you the dimensions on portrait mode, so you've got this front section here, which is eight inches, the crown is 11 and a half. The sides are eight and a half, the back is nine and a half, and the nape is four inches, which is one piece that i really like, because i'm not having a lot of hair at the back here. That'S dragging or creating friction on my clothing, which brings me to another reason why i love this style, and that is longevity. I think the fact that it sits, you know at shoulder length, at least it does on me. My face is seven inches from hairline to chin and i'm approximately uh three inches in within my neck, so that might give you an idea of where portrait mode is going to fall on you, okay, i'm going to go ahead and take portrait mode off so that I can show you the inside of the cap, but we'll get up close to that beautiful shaded. Biscuit you guys know i love shaded biscuit, but i am really excited to show you this piece in two other colors, so stay tuned. So let's turn the wig inside or the cap inside out, so that i can show you the beautiful cap. Construction you've got that full monofilament top and, as you saw earlier, how easy it is to part and redirect these fibers, depending on how you want to style. It, i think, is really special about this wig. There is the lace front, it's very soft, it's very smooth and fine, and then it runs into the felt covered ear tabs. This is an important cat feature, at least it is for me, and the reason why it's important is, i do like styling, my wigs off my face and having the flexibility to do so. So whenever you have a lace that runs all the way into the ear tabs, you will likely feel more confident in styling that wig away from your face, because you've got the lace that runs all the way down in this direction versus some wigs are more temple To temple, which run from here to here, so i love an extended lace front and then the cap construction, the base of the cap construction is wefted sides and back. This is raquel welch's memory, cap 2 and then you've got the beautiful, extended lace or extended nape. I'M sorry with velcro adjusters, so i didn't do any adjusting out of the box. I have a 22 inch circumference head and this wig is fitting me beautifully now. If you have a smaller head, you do have room to make adjustments and then, conversely, if you have a larger head than mine, as you can see, there is absolutely room to let these adjusters out to accommodate for a larger head circumference. My other observation about this cap, being incredibly comfortable in part, has to do with the stretch. So let me show you: there is a good amount of stretch on this cap, which i find very comfortable to wear. My other observation about this wig is that it's not flopping in my face and i haven't had to do anything to it, which i know many of us. That is an important feature about our wigs. So again, if i'm working at my desk and i'm looking down - and i look up you'll notice, these fibers are not falling in my face. I love that, as i mentioned earlier, i have portrait mode on right now in shaded biscuit and for those of you that are new um to raquel welch or to their blonde shades. Shaded biscuits one of my favorite. It is a rooted shade, as you can see. It'S rooted with a dark brown as you can see, and then it's a mix of two different blondes being a platinum blonde and an ash blonde. So shaded biscuit certainly is a cooler blonde um, but i think it's very dynamic because of the blend of those shades within uh within shaded biscuit. I think it's really beautiful, but perhaps shaded biscuit is a little bit too blonde or platinum for you. So i have on right now portrait mode in shaded, wheat, and this is a gorgeous color. So you, basically you have the same rooting as we saw on shaded biscuit, which is the dark brown root. But you can see that this is a warmer uh shade than shaded biscuit it's a little bit darker, certainly so shaded wheat is dark blonde with platinum blonde highlights. I love the dimension on this shade. I love the lighter shade being brought up to the front, helps to sort of brighten our faces. Let'S look at the hairline on this piece. They do bring those lighter shades right up to the front, but i think the mix of these colors on this particular style looks absolutely stunning. So if yet this one isn't your cup of tea stay tuned, i'm going to show you portrait mode in shaded sand. So here is portrait mode in shaded sand and this has got to be one of the most beautiful blonde shades. I think i've ever seen. So we took a look at shaded biscuit. We took a look at shaded wheat. Both of those shades have dark roots if you're somebody that likes a lighter root, then take a look at shaded sand. So this has a medium brown root versus shaded, biscuit and shaded wheat that have dark brown roots. I love the dimension in the body of the color on shaded sand. I think it's beautiful to me. This is right in between shaded, biscuit and shaded wheat. I think this is a really good in between shade. I think it's fabulous for the fall for those of us that typically wear blondes that want to bring down our color a little bit as we head into the fall and into the winter months. So i hope you're as excited as i am about. Raquel welch's fall collection, specifically portrait mode. So what i'm going to do is i'll place. A few pictures following this video in both shaded biscuit shaded, wheat and shaded sand, so that you can determine which is your favorite stay well and stay safe, bye, everybody! You

M 1996: It would be great if you could show these colours outside in natural light, Please consider doing this it would be so helpful

Faith Jones: OH! MY! GOODNESS!! You look STUNNING!! I must check this beauty out!! Great presentation!! ❤️❤️

Julie Pera: Beautiful natural looking wig.I want one!

Christina Knapp: Great review Erynn as usual!

Godsgurl 22: Once again, great detailed review!! But one important fact on the dimensions of this unit is that the overall all length of the perimeter is actually 13-14 in. Why is this important? It’s because this will let you know where it will land on your chin area. I have an 8 inch long face, and if you just say that the front is 8, then it will imply that it would barely hit my chin, and I would want it a bit longer to fully cover my double chin area. I learned this measurement on TAZ’s wig channel, and it will cause me to be more apt to order it! The shortest layer in the front measures 8 in, BUT the bottom length all the way around hits 13-14. Can you see why this is so important, especially at these higher priced ones? Having to send a wig back is going to cost a pretty penny, both in restock fee+ shipping fees, and unless you have endless money to just throw away (I don’t) then it’s important to know these facts. Also the manufacture needs to disclose this on the website more. When they put the shortest measurements up but don’t list the OVER ALL bottom length, they are doing a disservice to the lay shopper, who has no clue about this. The same goes for color numbers. I’m a stylist, and can not understand their reasoning for how they derive at their color formulations. I can tell you that they are nothing like how we would formulate a color mix in real world. So Im hoping for better descriptions on this subject of measurements. I know you reviewers do your very best to display the wigs in all their specs as listed, but im thinking that TAZ must have measured for herself the total length from top to bottom? All I know is that this really helped me make the decision to spend the $ on this one, knowing it should fit my needs and not feeling like I will have to return it. Hope you find thus helpful for future reviews. I really think you do a fantastic job!!

julie moses: Thanks for showing Shaded Sand! From the numbers, I thought it would be pretty but it doesn’t get reviewed much.

Julie Pera: You look good in all 3 colors but for me shaded wheat would look best I think. All 3 colors are beautiful.

Judy Anne: This wig is GORGEOUS!!!!

LD: Yah! So excited for this!

Susan Deneen: What would you consider to be the main differences between Portrait Mode and Let’s Rendezvous?

jen han: Absolutely fabulous can you please tell me which shaded biscuit you are showing there are two to choose from 19/23 and 19/23SS so I’m not sure thank you x

Julie Pera: I was wondering if I could make bangs so my forehead is covered somewhat? I'm partial to bangs.

LD: So, just wanted to get back after receiving my Portret Mode by RW. The look is nice and it’s a great sister style for my Untoldstory and my Upstage ( wearing both full time - alternating between to stretch out life span of the wigs) but… This wig is too thin . You cannot do up do or half up half down pony because it too thin and you will see the wefts . It’s as thin on the back as my BelleTress wigs and that’s one of the reasons I won’t buy from that brand any more. Also, the cap is sooooo big on me. Gaps on the back! Will never buy this one again . I’m sticking w hand tied only going forward .

M 1996: It’s lovely is there Any permatese in this?

Tata: Shaded sand is the top
