BEAUTY PRODUCTS I ALWAYS USE:
Beautisol is my fave self tanner..no bad smell, an even creamy tan that lasts. I use on my face too..after exfoliating. It was originally sold on QVC.. THE best stuff. I use from May-September.
I use these exfoliating gloves before applying self tanner.. and at least once a week all year round. I throw them in the washer and reuse! I prefer this to heavy gritty scrubs that are harder on the skin and are very expensive.
CeraVe Moisturizing cleansing bar.. it lasts so much longer than the pump!
Not oil based, but very hydrating.
Emoji Tweeze..I use this daily on upper lip and facial areas where my “grandma whiskers” appear.. it removes hair from the root through a pulling motion. Not painful, but takes some getting used to. This is one “As Seen On TV” product that I’ve used for over 10 years. NOT for eyebrows, but can be used between eye brows. Easier than manually tweezing..easy!
I cannot live without this toothbrush! I love my Oral B 8000. It cleans like you’ve just come back from the dentist, yet it’s super gentle..and it whitens!

Hi everybody. This is taz welcome back to taz's weight closet today, we're going to do a comparison by popular request with what i'm wearing now, which is the belletress, miss macchiato and butterbeer blonde, and we'll be comparing that with the raquel welch crowd pleaser in the color shaded biscuit Miss macchiato and crowd pleaser are both short kind of voluminous big wave styles with a longer fringe. They both feature a lace front and a left hand, monofilament side, part open, wefted sides and back so we're going to do some comparisons with the specs and the color. Here i have the raquel welch crowd pleaser in the color rl1923ss, which is shaded biscuit. Let'S go ahead and compare the colors first so on the shaded biscuit rl1923ss by raquel, welch you're going to find a base shade of like a deep honey um and a light sandy brown kind of blended mix there and then dispersed and highlighted well blended you're, going To see a pale neutral blonde, a very pale neutral blonde, and all of that is on a medium brown root on the butterbeer blonde. The base color, instead of being the honey or the sandy brown your base, color, is actually that very, very ultra pale um, neutral blonde shade and then mixed within that then you're going to find some medium and some dark honeys. And that's why you're going to find that the butter bear blonde is brighter, because that base color is lighter and brighter on the butterbeer blonde than it is here on the shaded biscuit and then the root also is a bit different on the butterbeer blonde. It'S considered to be like a light ash brown color, whereas on the the shaded biscuit it's a very dark, well, medium brown, so they call it so definitely darker on the root. So, overall, the butterbeer blonde is going to have a lighter root and a brighter appearance. Let'S go right into the specs comparison so on the miss macchiato. That front piece is going to be about seven inches. That'S going to reach almost nearly to my chin, it's about six and a half inches here on the crowd pleaser. So we have about a ten inch crown on each of these styles and about a four inch nape as well. The crowd pleaser has a bit of a shorter layer here on the sides than the miss macchiato and, like i said they both do feature that temple to temple, lace, front and left hand, monofilament side, part. Let'S go ahead and linger just a moment on this. Macchiato'S lace front: i think that it's fairly well done it's an average lace front. The knots are fairly average in in size and tenure and the left-hand monofilament side. Part um is a little more difficult to see through to the illusion of scalp, based on the density. There, on the top now with the crown pleaser that lace front is very well done. The knots are very fine and you can definitely see a more defined parting space along that monofilament part. The banding of the color does come right up to the lace front. On the on the crowd, pleaser a little bit more so than miss macchiato's butterbeer blonde. Now i can tell you that, in terms of just evaluating the lace and the monofilament that the crowd pleaser by raquel welch is superior, the lace tends to be a little more pliable and a little softer with less shine on the miss macchiato by belletress. The lace fronts there just seem to be a little bit: crunchy less pliable, less supple uh by in texture in terms of weight, miss macchiato weighs about four ounces and uh crowd plays a right around just over three ounces. So let's talk about permatease, there's very limited. Permatease here on, the miss macchiato you'll find just a thin layer of permatease kind of generally dispersed throughout the cap, and then it's a little bit thicker at the nape kind of to support some of this big wave curl here and keep its shape. The same is true here with crowd pleaser, however, you're going to find a little more permatease on crowd. Pleaser on the sides where miss macchiato has very little you'll find a little bit more on crowd pleaser. This is going to allow crowd pleaser to be a little more voluminous. You will also see a little bit more of a permanent contour on the crowd. Pleaser versus the miss macchiato, so miss macchiato has that seven inch bang here, but it lays fairly straight and then on the longer side, which is on the right. Then you do have a bit of a contour coming out of that lace front. But it's not as pronounced as the contours around the face for crowd. Pleaser. Both styles are heat friendly up to 350 degrees and in terms of price you'll find a little bit of a lower price point currently on the belletress, miss macchiato than you currently do on the uh, the crowd pleaser. I think the trade-off is that some, the lace and the monofilament features on the raquel welch crowd. Pleaser are a bit more sturdy, a bit more realistic and comfortable than that on the belletress miss macchiato. You

It was by no fault of the web site that sold me the wig, in fact, they were wonderful in updating me on the progress of my new wig. I had reached out to Belle Tress on Facebook and emailed. I ordered a Crowd Pleaser (same color) last year and mine was curled tightly all the way up to the part on all sides. After letting her sit and running my fingers and comb through her, I finally steamed her straight with a bit of curl in toward my neck. I've been tempted to purchase her again, but I just can't bring myself to do it - I really don't want to get another misfit! From the manufacturer's pictures, I never would have guessed Miss Macchiato had this hair pattern. Their photos just don't do her justice. Truth be Known: Hey Taz! Great review as always! I think that I like the style of Miss Macchiato a little more because it looks more refined and less “messy” to me but the difference in quality between the cap construction and lace front is giving me pause. I have never owned either of these brands but I do love Gabor and I know that Gabor is RW. So, here is my actual question. Would you say that there is a difference in the quality of the fibers as far as which lasts longer &/or is easier to care?

DBsTreasure: Hi Taz.... Love, Love, Love your videos. I've bought 32 wigs because of them! I only have one complaint. The light or lights you use for demonstration make the blonde wigs look platinum to pale pale blonde. (Which is my favorite) If those had been the real colors of some of your wigs I would have bought many more. However, they are NOT. I bought 2 Crowd Pleaser wigs in Shaded Biscuit and there is no comparison. Both are very much darker than your sample. The wigs on your shelves in the background are out of those lights and are much truer & darker to the real colours. Perhaps there is a light you could use that is not so white and the real color of the wigs would show up better. When you go outside in the sunshine we can actually see the real colors. STILL.... Love your videos. Thank You.

Stacey McCue: Hi, I just received my Miss Macchiato and I love it but it's so much different than yours, Taz. I took my straightener to the last inch or so of the bottom underneath layer (it was tightly curled) and the sides aren't quite as puffy. Is there anything I can do to get the volume you've attained in this video?
Liz Lyons: The Butterbeer Blonde is a beautiful color and I like it much better than the Shaded Biscuit, largely because I am not crazy about a huge contrast between roots and the rest of the hair. I have never tried a Belle Tress wig but do like their styles. I think cool, bright blondes look excellent on you. Net-net, the lighter weight, superior lace front, excellent contouring make Crowd Pleaser a safer bet, imho. I am going to put it on my list. And, when you model them side by side, the Shaded Biscuit actually looks brighter and cooler, interestingly. My only issue with Crowd Pleaser is the limitation of the very few RW darker colorways. xo
