Easy Jet Black Watercolor Method (No Stained Lace!) + No Glue Wig Install Ft. Cynosure Hair

Hey everyone, alright, so today's video we are focusing on jet black hair, color and 90s layers. This is giving flat wrap early 2000s. Okay. So if you're interested definitely stay tuned, this wig comes from cyanogen or senosia hair. This is their 5x5 closure wig. They came with a whole bunch of goodies, a wig cap, silk scarf elastic band, but the wig itself is what's the main focus, oh and and some lashes, but, like i said, the wig itself is the main focus. The knots are super small. It'S a 5x5 220 density super silky, smooth right out the pack. I noticed that um the hairline was pre-plucked and that the knots were pretty small, so bleaching. The knots and plucking, of course, wouldn't be too difficult. So my plans immediately was to do a jet black hair color on the hair, because of how silky the hair itself is. So i'm going in with this revlon color, silk, hair dye and i'll be boiling some water and putting it all together to do the infamous watercolor method. I decided that instead of doing like a rinse like um, you know with the adore or any other rent. I wanted more permanent solution, so that's why i decided to use the revlon and it only costs about three dollars at walmart. So it's super affordable and this method definitely gave me the results that i was looking for as far as getting a permanent jet black hair color on this unit. Without it, you know tinting the lace or even getting any of the hair dye on the lace, which is something that i just it just grinds my gears when i'm dyeing hair and the dye seeps and it gets onto the lace. So here are the results. I did go ahead and flat iron, the hair on my mannequin, and i noticed that the very front was kind of thinning out. So i decided to cut some face framing layers and i'm just going to show you really quickly how i achieve my layers i'll. Of course go in with my shares at an angle and just cut downwards, and then, of course, with my flat iron by my side, i'll see whether or not if the layers are giving what it's supposed to give it's not so i am going to go back In with my layers again until i pretty much am satisfied with the result, so i'm going to just pretty much show you one side and come back once i have finished the other. All right in here, you'll see the completed. Look adding layers to this wig actually made it a lot fuller, which is something that i can truly appreciate and, of course, i'm going to install this wig. I won't be using any spray. Adhesive lace, gel um bed head got to be none of that. I'M simply am going to cut the lace off, i'm going to add some powder just to help that lace blend in a lot more, and that is it i'm only using the elastic band to hold the wig down, and for that added security and yeah. You guys see how easy and simple it is to install the wig. Of course. My main thing is making sure that the sides where the closure is cut at the sides right here they don't show. So i'm emphasizing like making sure that those sides do not show um yeah so pretty much. What i can say about the hair is that it took the dye pretty well and it does hold the bump in the layers pretty well as well so um. I would say that you are able to curl this hair if you're, looking for straight hair that can curl. This is definitely one that you can gravitate towards. I will let you guys know whether or not if it changes over time, because i've had this unit um. Since i've had this unit since about early december now - and i'm i've been rocking it so um so far, so good, no shedding no tangling. This straight hair is simply that silky straight and just everything that i could ask for in straight hair. I will leave the link to this wig down below.
