Water Color Method/ Dye Your Wig Jet Black

Hey y'all and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video i will be showing you all how to dye your hair in 10 minutes using the watercolor method. My client provided me with two wig units from love me hair, one is a brazilian straight. The other is a kinky curly, and so we are going to see how this process works with this company's hair. I'Ve never used this company before, but i'm looking forward to seeing the results. In order to do this, you will need hair dye and a plastic tub. So i'm using adore 121 jet black and i just got a plastic tub from target. You also need some boiling water, which you see right here and we're just gon na get started to start, i'm going to dye the brazilian straight unit first, and since it's not as thick as the kinky straight, i'm only going to use one of the adore semi-permanent Dye for this process, so once i get all of that in there i'm going to stir it up and then begin the dipping process. Um, you want to make sure the hair is fully saturated. You don't want to just have like surface dye. You want to make sure that the dye is getting into all areas of the wig and you're, going to end up dipping the lace in there. It'S okay, it does not. The dye does not dye the lace. Um. Your lace will be fine trust. I'Ve done it before it will be fine, but you should wear gloves because, as you can see, i got dye all over my fingers and then my nails, which is a hot mess once you let your wig sit um for about 10 minutes. You didn't want to rinse it out first and then condition the wig to get all like the excess off um. I don't like the shampoo because it'll dry it out so we're just gon na, do a co-wash and then rinse it out and you're good to go. Now we're going to work on the kinky, curly wig and because this is more dense and the curls are tighter. I'M going to use two jars of the adore 121 die and we're going to dip this and really really really work. This in because we want to make sure that the dye, saturates, the entire wig and gets through every crack and crevice of these curls um. So yeah repeat the process for this. I let it sit for a little longer, like 15 to 20 minutes, just to make sure that the wig was, you know thoroughly died. Do so once everything is all said and done. You will then repeat the process of co-washing, and then i like to air dry. My wig so i'll put in the mannequin head and let it air dry be sure to put a towel underneath because the wigs will drip black and it will stain your floor. How do i know this? Because yeah, it happened to me and i got black stain on my wood floors. So here is the outcome of the dyeing process. Due to the fact that i have a warm tone on my light presently, you can't get the full effect as if it was in person, but it's definitely jet black um. My client ended up going with the brazilian straight wig for her birthday makeover. I did the wig install and her makeup look and you will see that in a few moments, but thank you all for watching.
