How I Add Shine To My Dull Hair | Bigen Jet Black Semi Permanent Hair Color Demo And Results

Hey Curlfriends,

In today's video I'll be sharing A Demo with Results on how I Add Shine to my Dull Hair using Bigen Jet Black Semi Permanent Hair Color. This Hair Color, also known as a "Hair Rinse" contains Coconut, Argan and Maracuja Oils, which I find gives my jet black hair a beautiful boost of vibrancy when I apply it every few months. Because this is a lot less harsh on the hair, I find this is a great alternative to permanent hair color. Have you used a Hair Rinse in your hair before?

What'S up you guys welcome or welcome back to my channel as usual, it's so good to have you all here with me for another video today i am going to be showing you guys how i bring vibrancy and shine into my dull hair and the way that I'M going to go about doing that is by applying a semi-permanent hair ring. The color that i'm going to be using today is going to be by the brand by jen color jet black, so jb one. I considered maybe going with something like a brown black or a soft black, but when i went to the beauty supply - and i was like really looking at the strands and the colors - i just felt personally that i'm going to stick with the jet black. I'Ve always done jet black hair rinses in my hair. I probably do this every six months or so, because i really don't want to over process my hair. I personally think that when i do a hair rinse, it does wonders for my hair and it actually gives my hair a more healthy looking appearance. Other people will say different things, and that is totally fine. Everybody'S hair is different and what works for one person may not work for someone else, but i do plan on straightening my hair today, so i just feel like i'm gon na get a more shiny, more healthy, looking payoff. If i do this rinse first, i have already washed my hair. I did not condition because when i apply a rinse to my hair, i just want to make sure that my hair is as clean as possible so that it can absorb as much of that product. As a can, i did wash my hair with this garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo. I really like this shampoo when i'm straightening my hair, because it just gives me a more long, lasting effect and it just really cleanses my hair of all the products that i apply into my hair when i'm wearing curly. So that is extremely extremely important. When you're doing a rinse got ta make sure that hair is super super clean. So, if you're interested in seeing how i bring back some shine and vibrancy into my hair, by applying my semi-permanent rinse, keep watching this video so guys, i just wanted to give you a quick look at what my fully cleansed hair is looking like right now. As you can see, it's actually still has quite a bit of brightness and color to it, but i really just wanted to rev that up a little bit in this particular um, straightening, routine, so yeah. This is going to make a huge difference and it's going to really make my strands pop. I'M going to be starting out this semi-permanent color application by sectioning my hair into three smaller sections. As we go, the sections will get a little smaller, but i always find that smaller sections work best to get that product distributed. I have my rubber gloves to protect my hands as best as i possibly can from that semi-permanent color. My tools and products are in place, so yeah guys, let's just go right ahead and hop right into it. I am going to be starting out by applying this color into the root of my hair and just sort of raking. It through i'll then be detangling as you'll see here and while i'm detangling, that's gon na allow some of that color to move through my strands and reach the ends of my hair. So so yeah guys, i'm just repeating all of the steps that i mentioned in the beginning, i'm just trying to get through this process because it is really a process whether or not you can tell through my editing, but i'm just trying my darndest not to make A mess but, as you will see it just, is incredibly difficult foreign. This, hopefully, you guys are able to see what i mean here in terms of detangling and how some of that dye just sort of runs through the comb and how it's helping me to distribute that dye throughout all of my hair foreign. The way that splatter was so inevitable, you guys, like oh my gosh it just it just gets worse and loki. I kind of feel like i was lucky to have gotten almost halfway through without making such a mess. The nice thing about this hair color is that it is semi-permanent, so it is fairly easy to clean off of the skin and just anywhere else that it may have splashed in my bathroom all right guys. So now we're coming down to this final stretch. I was pretty pleased to find out that i had just enough amount of dye for my hair. My hair is quite dense. I have pretty thick type 3 hair, it's kind of a blend of some different textures, but we'll just go with type 3 dense, low, porosity hair. So two squeegee bottles was plenty at this point. I'M pretty excited to be done with this semi-permanent color application. I made quite a mess, as you guys can see on my hands. It is crazy, so yeah i am just going to wipe some of this stuff off. It is going to come right off with a little soap and water. Thank goodness. So now i'm going to sit up, let this sit in my hair for about an hour and then i'm gon na rinse off and come back and show you guys what this hair is looking like, hey guys. So i'm back and i went ahead and just rinsed. This out of my hair off camera, showing it was just way too messy and way too difficult, but okay. I wish i was able to get that footage, because, while i was rinsing the color out and the color became less dark and it was more the color of the water, i went ahead and raked in some conditioner, which i normally wouldn't do too much of. If i was just going to be straightening my hair straight away, i did break in quite a bit of this product and just really my hair just really drank up this product right after i mixed out the semi-permanent color. So i feel like that, really contributed to the shine that i'm about to show you. So i sat under my microfiber for a few minutes, my microfiber towel, and this is what my hair is looking like wet. I will come back at the end when my hair is fully blown out and straightened to show you how my hair looks like then, but this you guys is what my hair is looking like. My hands are a little bit uh discolored because of this dye. I have a light nail polish on so, as you can see - and i hope you guys can see - this is a nice rich, dark, uh black, which me personally, i'm a huge fan of jet black hair so and yeah you can see on my hands. They'Re super dirty, but this is what my wet hair is looking like. Let me go ahead and finish up the job and blow my hair out and come back with a completely different. Look. So i'll see you guys in a minute i am back, and this is what the hair is looking like. I am not really sure if this lighting is going to do it a whole lot of justice. So i'm just going to do my best to give you guys a look at the shine, particularly the shine in this hair, really just how much darker it was prior to this process. So yeah, if you guys, like my results, definitely hop down in the comments, and let me know what you think i would love to hear your thoughts. Let me know in the comments what some of your tips are for: boosting the color in your doll hair. I would love to hear more and in the meantime guys i look forward to seeing you in my next video so take care of yourselves bye.
