Easy Re-Install On This Old Lace Front Wig | Melted Lace + How To Dye Jet Black

Hey y'all, it's kiara welcome to another video, i'm sure y'all already know i'm about to give y'all a t on how i made my old wig look brand new and how i reinstall my lace frontal. So this video will be start to finish. Let'S get into it. So starting off, i'm going to be using the got to be free spray all over the lace, because i am dyeing this hair jet black, i'm using the revlon color silk in number 11 soft black. This color actually turned out perfect and i wanted to include this in the video. Please do not dye your hair in the tub. I made a mistake because i didn't have anywhere else to wash it so now i see why people have those little clear tubs. I did go and buy one yesterday, but at the time of this video i didn't have one so this hair originally came in loose deep wave, i'm just blow drying it straight as possible before i flat iron it or curl it. That way. It'S more seamless and everything can lay as flat as possible going in with my icy fantasia heat protector. I am going to be using this with my vivitar flat iron. You guys know i love this flat iron. It was cheap, it works, so i'm gon na go in sections, flattering the hair and i'm just using a little bit of the serum, because i don't want it to be too heavy and make the hair greasy. But since this is a more curly texture, it did need a heavier flat iron serum. So that's why i chose this one like do you guys see how silky and sleek it got after? I straightened it. Perfection so going in with my shoes bomb wax stick once i get to the frontal i'm going to be taking smaller sections going towards the part that i want for the hair, so i'm taking little sections at a time and hot combing them super flat. The wax stick makes such a difference. I don't know why or how, but it literally just melts everything together and it gets your way super flat. So i love it um, but i'm also going to be doing it at the first track behind the frontal to get everything to lay down like i was so happy about this wig. You guys and i had honestly lost hope for it. So i was just gon na take the tracks out and probably use the hair, but i decided to challenge myself and see if i could bring this wig back and i did. I did have a learning curve with this wig, like i literally had to redo everything from the first install, so i had to go back cut the frontal repluck, the hairline, like i'm learning you guys, but anyway, going in with my favorite. This is the even tinted: lace light warm brown and some alcohol wipe my forehead and i'm using the even wonderlace bun active spray love this spray. So one thing i did forget to do was slick my hair back because i have a lot of hair and i have thick side burns and i have a low hairline but um other than that. I did use two to three layers of this spray because i only kept it on for about a day um blow dry on cool, which it doesn't take long to dry at all, and then, of course, got my elastic band to help lay the lace, and i Actually wasn't feeling a straight look, so i did go in with this curl one set. I got off amazon if y'all want to review. Let me know, but i'm using my suave extreme hold hairspray to hold the curls and then i'm going in and hot combing. The frontal laying the top down to make it flat make it seamless, you see it did my baby hairs and i did use the kiss edge. Fixer and sweet peach, as well as the bb foam mousse, and i actually should have just did fluffy baby hairs. But i wasn't thinking about it at the time um. I still think they look good, but i didn't want them to look like slicked down so yeah after i curled the hair and let it set. I did like loosely brush it out and i absolutely loved the look that it gave me, which was absolutely what i was going for. So your girl was a little hyped but um yeah, the hair turned out really pretty. As you can see, the color took really well all over and it definitely gave it a different look and, of course, i'm going in and hot combing that frontal, because we want it to look amazing. We want a little light, scalp and minus the wig cap underneath because i didn't feel like doing the ball cap method, because i was just trying to see if i could make the wig look good. But mine is that this wig would have been laid like if i were to do the bobcat method, underneath you literally like could not tell me nothing.
