Hello, everyone what's up, it's me jackie and welcome back to the video. So for this week's video i did something a little different. Can you tell the difference and what i look like well, i did dye my hair once again, i feel like this is almost an annual thing of me just dying my hair in october. If you guys didn't know, i did have my hair dyed and highlighted for the last three months or so, and so now that it's false winter, i decided it was time for a change, especially because just grown out a whole bunch you'll see in a second and For that i decided to also film the entire process, because this time i actually did it a little bit differently than i have in the past back then, i used to use a liquid hair box dye, but this time we're trying something a little bit different. So without further ado, let's just go ahead and hop into yesterday and see how i did my hair tonight is and night. I finally dye my hair back to my natural roots. Well, not exactly natural. It'S only really been like three slash three and a half months since i have dyed it since then, i haven't really kept up with it in terms of touching it up or anything. It'S definitely the most noticeable like on these front money, piece framing pieces and besides that it's also been getting kind of brassy, because of that i'm deciding to go black. I did love this for the time being in summer, but now that it's finally fall slash winter. I definitely thought it was time for a change so right now, i'm actually currently in just my korean little sweater. So before i actually start the dyeing process, i am going to change my shirt because, honestly, i don't want to die on this. So, let's change into something a little bit more appropriate, went ahead and changed to a black shirt, of course, wrapping my girl olivia. So now that we're pretty much prepared for this hair dyeing process, i'm first going to walk you guys through what i decided to buy for this. In the past, i've always used a liquid hair dye from boxes from the store. I'Ve always had decent luck with those, and especially the garnier one, but i decided this time. I wanted to stay a little bit longer since those usually fit within a couple of weeks, so i decided to get something a little more bougie, not really because he's still good at the drugstore, but something a little bit more elevated. So for this i decided to go to my very own sally's beauty, to pick up a couple of products to use in my hair, so for the general hair dyeing process, i am going to be using a cream hair dye pose to liquid one. So i had to pick up this little kit right here from sally, so i didn't have the appropriate utensils to do myself. So it's just a professional hair, color kit. This was like 7.99, so super inexpensive, just comes with a pair of disposable, gloves a little mixing bowl a hairbrush and then a little squeezy tube type thing really inexpensive, and i can reuse this multiple times for the hair dye itself. I actually got this recommended from my roommate, so thanks diana, i really appreciate it, but i decided to pick up this right here. This is just the ion color brilliance, permanent cream, hair color in shade 1v, which is jet black. This is said to give my hair intensive shine and it's apparently ppd free, don't really know what that means, but it should mean something good. So this is what the boxes look like right here, super excited to use it, and i decided to pick up two just because i do have thicker hair, that's longer so usually recommended to get two of them. So i decided to pick these up. These are around. Like 7.99, each to actually develop the color and make it come to life. I had to pick up this developer right here. This is the ion sensitive scalp, 10 volume developer, and i heard that to get your hair darker, you are going to need a 10 volume. If you want to go lighter, you have to go up volumes but to go darker. I decided to go with this. This only came out to around like four bucks or something two for an eight fluid ounce bottle, which would be great for two dyeing sessions so and lastly, for the finishing process, i also decided to get this ion color defense after color sealer. Just so, i can go ahead and seal the color in after i wash my hair. So definitely this video is all about things ion. First, i'm going to open up my little professional hair, color kit, so i can go ahead and start putting things together. I'M going to open this up and then we're going to tie my hair up and then we're gon na start, mixing all the dyes ooh. Okay, of course, we've got the little squeezy bottle right here. I'M not gon na need that tonight, though, i got the little hair dyeing brush here, a little mixing bowl. Oh this is the top of the squeezy bottle, part pretty sure, and then lastly, right here, we've just got a pair of gloves. Thank goodness because i didn't have any so before we go ahead and start mixing the dies, i'm going to go ahead and just tie my hair up into four sections. So i'm going to go ahead and first off split it in half and then i'm going to go ahead and split down the middle. This is my first time completely like dyeing my hair by myself before in the past, i've always had like my boyfriend or my mom help me, but this time we're doing it myself so we'll see how it goes. This is so ugly, okay, okay, they definitely don't all. Look the same. I'M going to leave this strand of hair out because i'm going to start on this one first, but let's go ahead and get into mixing all of the dyes in my little mixing bowl. I think i'm going to first go ahead and put in the cream, hair, color and then we'll put in the developer. I'M pretty sure these come with two fluid ounces, and when it comes to mixing up the developer, then you need to do a one-to-one ratio. Since i have two of the two ounces, it's basically four ounces, but first off is generally what the bottle looks like open it up. I'M gon na go ahead and just pinch off the top crazy you guys, i'm so nervous. First little tube is done. Okay, now we're gon na go ahead and take out the second one. I think i'll have her in my bowl for it, then, let's go ahead and squeeze in the second two. Second tube is done here. We'Ve got both of the cream hair colors in the mixing bowl. Let'S go ahead and now add developer. It smells good. I'M going to go ahead and pour half the cup developer, very, very freaking, careful i'm going to go ahead and now just add it. It'S very much at the tippy top, but you know that's: okay, we've got my little concoction, i'm going to go ahead and now take the brush and mix it kind of slowly, because i have so much product in here. I think we've got it pretty much mixed. I'M gon na go ahead and put my gloves on while i regret this in the morning. Maybe, but you know what it's fine, i'm so nervous to start putting into my hair, but it seemed pretty easy from the youtube videos. I always trust youtube videos too much cue, my bangs from last year. These pieces are still grown out. I guess there's no better way to test it than doing it. So, let's just hope this goes right. Let'S go ahead and just start it you guys i'm so nervous. Okay, no going back now! Bro, i feel like my face, is gon na be so stained after this. Am i doing this right? I don't even know i have like a lot of hair, so this is definitely a process. Okay, definitely it is turning black because i got a tiny bit on my leg and it's starting to get darker. The only issue with having like bleach hair in some areas is that i'm kind of nervous that that is going to obviously turn out a little bit lighter than like my natural hair, going black, maybe it'll, add some definition. Oh my neck, definitely maybe should have gotten help, but it's okay. Hair is definitely doused in this hair dye. I'M going to go ahead and move on to. I think this back section. This is definitely coming out a lot messier than i thought. I don't know. I'M going on it so much more cleanly on this side next time i probably will get this dyed with my madre or in a salon, but you know what you always got: ta try something goodbye to this. Brassiness back sections are pretty much dyed. So let's go ahead and actually do this little baby bun, thank god. I did get two freaking bottles because y'all it would have been bad. I'M gon na now hop into my last little section. Hopefully i have enough dye. Hair is completely dyed and my face and my skin is a mess, but i will clean that up. I'M going to go ahead and let this set for around 35 to 45 minutes. I'M pretty sure it's what it said. Then i'm gon na hop in the shower and i'm gon na just use my regular shampoo, which is the hydrating shampoo from anomaly and then after my shampoo is set. I'M gon na go ahead and use the ion after color sealer, so i'm gon na just seal that in i'm gon na go ahead and let my hair set in do its thing. Take a shower then i'll catch up with you guys tomorrow. My hair is dried. Styled and looking all nice. So let's hope it goes well and just like that it's present day and my hair is officially dyed, dried styled and i'm definitely in love with it and i'm honestly still adjusting to the drastic hair change. Because, obviously, yesterday i did have lighter hair, but now it's just kind of shocking to see myself and super dark hair. Overall, with the dyeing process, i personally really loved using the cream dye. I feel like it did a lot better than the liquid hair dye and i feel like it's going to last a lot longer than that, so i definitely probably would do that again. Honestly, i think that job was okay. I am currently filming this during the day. So the sunlight is hitting my hair, so it does look a little lighter in some spots, but you know what i did this by myself so but overall, i think i did a pretty good job i'll give you guys a little back review of my hair overall In love with the final results - and i hope you guys enjoyed seeing the entire process of me - dyeing my hair for the first time using the ion hair cream dye in general. Also, i feel, like my hair just looks so much healthier now that it's darker compared to being light, because when it was bleached and dyed, i feel like it did look a little bit dry all the time so now that i've got it back to dark. I feel like it looks healthy, so with that's pretty much going to be it for this video of me dyeing my hair. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing the entire process and if you did go ahead and give this video a thumbs up and subscribe down below for new videos every single week, i do post every single friday. Jasey Parker: this is such a great video! i was doing a brown and when i saw the dye was white i thought i got a bad batch but then i saw yours and i felt so relieved. yours turned out so good!

christiana Marie: Thank you for this vid dyeing my hair tomorrow ! Your hair looks so gorgeous!!!!

Brianna01: I know this is late haha but how has the color held up? Has it faded or not really? Also great video! :)

CheerLovatic102: Next time you go darker when you have blonde hair. You need to color their hair with a red color. When your bleaching you’re stripping all of the warmth in it when you’re going darker, you have to fill back in that warmth. Else your hair can turn a muddy green color.

Alejandra Martinez: looks so good!!!

Littlemissivie: If you put Vaseline around your hair line and behind your ears and neck it helps not stain your skin and makes it easier to wipe it off the excess color that gets on your skin

Lenay Marie: im still debating if i should go black or nottt ur video is my sign haha

kashish: i love that the box is lavendery and you're wearing an olivia shirt!! its such sour vibes

tenley: what did you use to get the dye off your skin?

brimcmillz: Great video just subscribed

Tessa Reyna: i had my bangs and lower half of my hair bleached and died purple, the color is washing off though, will the product work without developer or do i have to use developer, it’s that yellow color right now because all the color has washed out, can i just use this straight out of the bottle or does it need developer?

Filthy Weeb.: how long until it fades?

Janelly Ralda: Your so pretty i like your hair

Noor Fatima.: I really wanted to dye my hair black. Does black hair makes acne stand out???

malin lynch: i have blonde hair, will this work for me?

unapologetic Ella: Is this dark brown or black?

Arcadia Berger: It took me a moment to figure out what part of the year "False-Lash Winter" was . . . . ;-)

Ady82: How much developer for 1 box of color?

Crystal Parker: But you didn't say if you washed your hair or had product in when applying? Inquiring minds want to know...especially since the internet has contradictory answers.

Abby Flowers: it seem so easy my turn

𖤐 ☠︎ 𖤐: Iam so dumb LMAO I DIDNT have developer oh well ima jus rinse it out that was disappointing i need to be more attentive ✌️

Filthy Weeb.: how much developer do I use
