Dying My Natural Hair Jet Black + Silk Press At Home

Hey: what's up you guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl destiny and today your girl is going to be dyeing her hair again. Okay. I know you have tired of me dying my hair because listen, i'm tired of myself. Okay, i am tired of myself. Y'All i dyed my hair pink and it was pink for maybe like two three weeks and then honestly, i got tired of it, so i decided to dye my hair jet black, so i'm gon na be using this dark and lovely um fade resistant, hair color, like I said i have the color jet black. I bought three boxes in total, but i only ended up using two, so i pretty much just section my hair in four big sections, which is what i always do um to my hair when i'm like coloring it dyeing it bleaching it or even when i'm you Know flat ironing it or whatever. So all i did was just mix the contents together and then i pretty much just started applying that dye onto my hair. This part is pretty self-explanatory, so i'm not gon na do too much talking because, like i said it's pretty self-explanatory, so i'm pretty much just gon na take my applicator brush and just apply that dye onto my hair um work it into my hair and just really Try to make sure i get everything coated and covered um, because i don't want none of that pink peeking through or i don't want no color peeking through. I wanted my hair checked black. So that's pretty much what i'm going to be doing right now, so foreign. So me so all right, you guys so after i finished coloring all four sections. I went in make sure that everything was coated, colored um and then i just put a plastic shower cap on. I let it sit for about an hour and then i rinse with the mios hawaiian, moisture rx line, and then i'm going to be using this bio: silk: silk therapy to style my hair y'all. If you do not have this in your hair collection or do not use, this definitely give it a try. I love this stuff on my natural hair as well as my wigs and hair extensions. Like it's super duper, it's lightweight. It'S a heat protectant. It makes your hair smell super duper good, it gives it a nice shine like it. Just is just everything all in one, and this is one of my like staple items um that i just i use on everything, so i would definitely say give it a try. It comes in different sizes and they also sell it at like marshalls and cj max, because i believe the big bottle is like 45, but you can find it in marshalls for like 19.99, but anywho wants a blow drying. So, as you can see what i like to do when i'm blow drying my hair, i like to stretch my hair um and then i just use my paddle brush to go through my ends, because you know adding heat onto your hair can be a little bit Damaging so to prevent, you know any extra damage that i'm probably doing or whatever um by you know already coloring my hair using box style. I just like to stretch my hair um, make sure that it's almost completely dry before i go in with my paddle brush and just you know like dry my ends, so that's pretty much what i'm going to be doing right now, so so my all right y'all. So after i finished blow drying all four sections, i'm going to be taking that same bio silk and i'm going to be adding a little bit more onto my hair before flat ironing it. Now. I am using like a basic flat iron that i got from a beauty supply store years ago, so i don't even know what the name of this flat iron is. It'S nothing special! It'S not that fancy. I promise you so um. I honestly, i don't even like. I said i don't even know the name of this vine, but all i'm going to be doing is just taking small sections of my hair and i'm going to be using my rat tail comb to chase the flat iron. Now there were a few spots of my hair that i actually missed, which you will see in the video. However, it's nothing major, it's nothing noticeable, and it's honestly on the kind of like the under layers, where my hair was pink. Where i noticed like a few, you know spots that were um. You could still see color to them. It wasn't completely jet black but, like i said that super is fine with me as long as there's nothing really noticeable um, but pretty much y'all, i'm in love with the color like it. Just really. I don't know jet black. It just gives you a whole new. Look honestly um, so um, i'm pretty much just going to be flying in my hair in this section and then i'll come talk to you guys in the end, all right, you guys so right here you can kind of see like this is when i started to Notice that, as i was flat ironing my hair um, it seemed like the heat was making the color come through, like it was stripping that jet black dye away. I don't know how to explain, but, as you can see like my hair was completely jet black after i blow dried it, but as soon as i started, applying like flat iron heat to it, i noticed that the color was stripping. It was starting to revert back to, like you know, the pink like some of the pink was showing through now. I don't know um if you guys have ever like flat iron 613 here like if you dyed 613 hair, and then you went to flat iron it and the heat from the flat iron changed the color of your 613 here, but that's pretty much. What was happening on my natural hair because i'm like i know when i was blow drying it. I was looking through my hair and it was completely black, but once i started flat ironing it, that heat was changing the color, which was weird because i never knew that that can happen with you know permanent dye um i've experienced that, like i said with 613 Here and using like rinses - and you know like the bottle dye like a door and stuff like that, but i didn't know that can happen with box dye. So i probably will touch up my color later on down the line but um like i said it was nothing major, nothing crazy. Nothing was like all right. This is definitely noticeable. So just a little, you know tea. I wanted to give you guys. So all right, you guys so here, is how my hair turned out y'all. I am super duper in love with this color jet black is such a classic. It'S a staple! You can never go wrong with this color, especially in the colder seasons like this is just it's just perfect, so i'm definitely in love with my hair.
