What'S up beauties, it's lindsay welcome back to my channel, i hope you're all doing amazing we're going to go ahead and continue the 14 days of love into march. I hope you don't mind, but we're still going to finish it up, but today i'm going to show you guys this new unit that i've been rocking. You saw on instagram now i did have a little mess up in this tutorial. I didn't fully show it, but the hair had some color changes. It was kind of a mess, but we fixed it. It looks great it's ready to go so if you want to know how to achieve this, beyonce spring inspired hair keep on watching. So today's wig is from julia hair inside the box. You get an adjustable strap, you also get a wig cap and they also threw in this beautiful, ombre, pink and purple satin scarf to lay down the wig lay down the baby. Hairs actually don't use it today, but it's really nice. So thank you to julia hair. Let'S talk about the wig itself. Now this is a middle part wig. It has a number two color and then it goes into a blonde, and i previously filmed this tutorial and i just curled the hair. I honestly was not a huge fan and i thought it was the blonde. I thought i wanted it a little bit more toned, but it turns out. I really just didn't like this hair curled. Some of you might like it, but i just wasn't really feeling it and i like the hair, a lot more straight but, like i said i thought i wanted the blonde toned, so i went to tone it and i left it on way too long. It turned the wig purple, it turned the blonde parts purple because i left it on too long. I literally followed my old tutorial and messed up, so i was like running around the house trying to find household items everything i googled i didn't have in my cabinet or pantry. So it was a mess, but i eventually got the hair color out. So it was great, but it just went back to the initial blonde color, so i basically damaged the hair for no good reason, but thankfully i do have some products that i wanted to try out anyway. These are from for hallie, if you guys are not familiar with them, they are a newer brand and they specialize in formulating products specifically for extensions and wigs. So this is my first time trying them and i'm like what better way or what better time really to use them, because i damaged this hair for no reason just to go back to the initial color um, so i'm gon na start off with the shampoo. This also does have a pump top mine just broke in the mail. I was so sad about it, but it's okay. I just unscrewed it and just like squeezed it in my hand, um. So, starting with the shampoo i am going all throughout the hair and making that set up, it does smell really good as well, which is very beneficial for wigs specifically because, as you know, a lot of times when you order wigs, they do have that wig smell And it's just like: i don't really want to be walking around and i'm getting a whiff of that all throughout the day, so the shampoo does smell, really really good. So now moving into the conditioning portion, which is what this hair really needs. I am going in with the seaberry mask now the mask you don't just use on your own. You also use the wonder oil. You do about four pumps of the wonder oil and then grab some of the mask mix them together and apply it to the hair. Now i actually didn't receive the microwavable bag that also comes with uh. The set it's kind of like the whole idea behind it is that you can put the mask on the hair. You can put the hair in this microwavable bag and microwave it for like a minute and a half and that really locks in the moisture into the extensions or the wig and, like i said, that's really what this hair needed. So i wish i had that bag, but it's okay. I just left it on a little longer than normal for the hair, and i love this because i didn't need a detangling comb and i think the oil was to thank for that. And i also really wasn't a big mask fan a hair mask fan in the past. I just felt like it always made. The hair feel really weird, but this one i don't know, maybe it's the seaberry or the combination with the oil it just makes the hair feel really really good. So, like i said this hair needed it because i damaged it for no reason so just ran that through the wig and i let it sit for about 10 minutes and then i went in to rinse it all out again, i used cool water to rinse. It out, and you can see the shine - you can see how the hair is coming back to life because girl. It was not looking or feeling like this when i stripped that purple out of the hair. So i just left that overnight and then i blow dried it, but before applying the wig, i did just take some of my rare beauty concealer, and i use that underneath the wig on the parting area. I don't want to use it on top of the wig. I do it underneath just so that it blends better and you don't have to worry about getting concealer on the hairs themselves, so i'm just brushing that through with a little brush and then we're going to flop this wig on and girl we're looking like a real Lion: okay, blow drying. Does this so um? I did want to glue it down, which is rare for me. Y'All know with wigs. I just normally don't glue them down, but i did want to go in with my god to be spray. The original one - and i don't know if i ran out - i don't know if the nozzle was broken. I don't know stuff wasn't coming out of there, so i was like okay, let's grab the other got to be spray, which i actually like a lot more. It smells a lot better as well, and i just sprayed the sides and lay that down. I also sprayed underneath where that middle part is just to lay that front part down, and you guys saw it on instagram. A lot of you were saying it was laying real nice. Thank you. I'M going in with my eva nyc, 10 and 1 main magic primer. Y'All know we always start with this before using heat on the hair and then to get the little area. That'S right by the middle part, i've been using this new mini travel flat iron. This is from instyler. This is their wonderlust mini flatiron, it's a cute little baby blue color, and this is perfect for the part like the area by the part, because if you do use a bigger flat iron a lot of times, you will see that crease. So a lot of people use like a hot comb or something like that. If you don't have a hot comb, i feel like having a little mini. Straightener works great as well, so i'm just using that to lay that flat and then we're going through the rest of the hair, with my glam palm classic flat iron. A lot of you asked me what flat iron i always use in my tutorials. It is the glam palm i've had it for about five six years now, and it's honestly, it's so gg. It'S been with me through a lot um, and i just always love using this one. I feel like you, can get the job done faster with a big flat iron like this. I do want to get another one just because i feel like like i said it has been through a lot, but it's still holding up really well after, like five years. So props to glam pump, they had like a lifetime guarantee on it too. So i was like you know what y'all mean business all right, so this is pretty repetitive, but i am just starting from the bottom sections and flat ironing that hair and you can see how silky and straight it is. I was so scared. It wasn't going to be after i stripped that color off, but with the seaberry mask and the oils and that 101 primer as well, it made the hair look good as new. If not better. Honestly, it was so soft, so silky and there was a lot of body and movement in the hair as well, even though it was straight, it was just like giving me everything giving me life girl um. So, yes, i went to the other side and just did the same thing starting from the bottom sections and working my way up, and it is really long. The hair was actually longer than this, but i knew i did want to cut it and the ends were a little bit damaged still from that color stripping that i did so. I just went in with my scissors and i trimmed the ends of it. I did kind of add some long layers in it as well. Sorry, it's out of focus or it's not even in frame, i'm sorry um but yeah. I just did some long layers on either side, so kind of scooped in just bump. The ends like that, and that is basically all for the tutorial like i said i made it harder on myself than it needed to be honestly um, but i really like how it came out. I love the hair straight. I also want to see what this hair looks like crimped. I did want to use a deep waiver, but i was like i just did a deep waiver tutorial i feel like they don't want too back-to-back, but you'll probably see it on instagram when i wave this hair and how it looks. But that is all for today's tutorial, so i hope you guys enjoyed it. I'Ve got all the links below for julia hair as well as for hallie.
