Wig Talk Wednesday!!! Jon Renau California Blondes! Malibu, Venice, Laguna & Palm Springs Blonde!

Creating a cold front tomorrow so be cold badly. This morning I need it right now. I was 68 degrees. I left the house yeah I mean when was it freezing like Saturday? There was like frost on this. I don't know it's so humid here that it's even not that hot, but we've got the AC blasting cuz, it's just they're, so thick I can't even deal. Can you deal with this crazy, Texas weather? Alright, we are live so she said. We'Ve been crazy, so just give us just a minute to kind of get to where we're like not going crazy, yeah we're like we apologize. I guess we should say somewhere between 12:00 and 1:00. We'Re gon na go live some time on Wednesday. How about that Wednesday? Ish winds heavy on the airship anyway, I hope everybody had a great week and we're excited because we've gotten you know, John Renault came out with the California blog collection, Oh in the spring, and it's gotten a lot of buzz and it's it's just a whole new Collection of lines that are they're all rooted, but it's kind of hard to as a consumer, to figure out what exactly are the differences because they call it they do have names which I still have yet to learn. I'M better. I know all the numbers and, and then they have the numbers in it's hard to know rule. Is that a cooler tone or is a warmer tone or and what does the s8 or the S 18 mean meaning as far as how dark is the reed? And so we're just going to show you the four and California blonde collection colors that they have and explain to you the differences we'll try them on and and just hopefully help you understand a little better about what the differences are. So what we both have on today is color twelve FS 8. This is not part of the California blonde collection. This was one of the rooted blondes that John Renault came out with. It was actually an employee that worked for John Rowe that had the most beautiful blonde rooted hair, and so they made this color because from her her hair, I didn't even know that yeah Georgia told me that so and this became one of their signature colors and Nobody else makes a color exactly like this. It'S got a great blend of some cool and some more highlights to it, and so it's 12 FS 8 and what is the FS fashion fashion syrup fashion, shade fashion, shade fashion syrup? Well, I can't it depends it because it says fashion syrup, but it stated praline, it's not technically yeah. So anyway, we're just gon na say it stands for fashion shade, so Misty's got on Brooklyn and 12 FS 8 and I got on Cameron in large cap in 12 FS 8. So the next thing we're gon na do is put something different on yeah like she said, I'm not technically part of that, but and we're just gon na just go through there cuz. I think it should be part, because I mean I think we should go next to the 12 FS 12, which is this. Is this color is what springboarded the whole California blonde collection, because people love this color, and so they had a lot of questions or comments about well, if it only had this or if it only had that, and so they built the California black ocean. But it started out in the face of 12 FS. 8. Yes, and we don't I'm sorry, I'm trying talking the same thing um. We don't have a lot of people who, like that dark route, they like something just a little bit lighter. I personally like a little bit lighter because my brows lighter so we kept trying Georgia, oh she's. Alright, we love this phone, so Miss Clara. Can you make any more things and so much said it's free boarded that hole? Ok! Well, let's come up with a whole line blonde, and so let's go to 12 FS 12. Okay, so M 12 F is 12, is the same kind of shading with the honey bonds right here - let's see, oh goodness, so I'm going to put January on in 1212 and so Misty's gon na leave her Brooklyn on so that you can see it's the same. Color that 12 FS to 12. This is not. This is Lucy since January, and it's a light and what they how they describe. This is a light gold brown with a light natural gold blonde and pale natural, go blonde blend shaded with gold Brown. So lots of goals in there. It'S really you can see yeah. So it's like, we have they're, really really bright and yeah Tom Springs Palm Springs, okay, and simply because I'm too big on really cold colors that are super super platinum and we require that gold running through it and twelve 24/1 of twelve. I will never. This is the only one not always, because I can remember that yeah and we're getting an echo told now. That'S good f skip that's better. Okay. We just did please but well. I threw some lakeside with him yeah how about we Lee said that we were getting an echo too, so we're gon na try that and see if it's better um the Laguna. This is it's described as light gold brown with pale natural gold blond bland shady with medium brown, and this style is amelia as well. I don't know where the medium brown is other than the roof on this yeah cuz, it's a 12, but even at 12 cent. Really medium brown, but hmm, that's what they're calling it so we'll just go with it: okay, good! They said the echos gone, I'd thrown a stack of wigs over on the side it kind of got on the microphone. I think that's what happens it. It'S usually my father. I really think it probably is this time too, but you know I'm just gon na say we're in this together: yeah, okay, so one more color lift Kim's favorites, my favorite ELISA favorite. I think everybody about has a wig in this color by me: yeah. In fact the wig I'm dr. pen on ELISA has this way. This is an FS 17 /, 101 s 18, which is a mouthful, but it's so pretty. It'S really really pale. It'S their lightest. In the collection - and it's called Venice - no, no, I'm sorry, it's called Tom Springs. We just got this saying that and hauntings blonde light ash blonde with pure white natural violet yeah. This is the color everybody wants in their hair right now, yeah. I don't care that. It'S fall, I mean, and every time I go get a highlight, I'm like her name's Mary Mike it's just a little bit blonder and Kim's the same way, because we all want that nice violet tone, and sometimes the only way to achieve that in your natural is To get to the point of almost melting it off, which we've done that too, and then to tone it with a violet shampoo each time it's no fun to find your hair and listening drain. It'S not it's! I'Ve done that, and you know it's one thing whenever it just happens, that is another thing when you've done it to yourself so but yeah. This is like that really really really violet and the the route on this is in. I don't understand what um it says. It'S eight yeah: that's a shark root been on here's his eighteen. Oh! I got a shorter that because I've always wondered by that. There'S some! I from Blue Ridge Mountains. Hey there, okay, oh my gosh! We just had that. This is not a funny question, but it's the way she she worded it. It'S Amelia. She just asked. What do you do at night when you go to bed? I don't want to scare my mainly high girl. You just take that off trust me you're mainly ain't. There for your hair, no - and you got other reasons, some sleep in it. It'S just you're gon na. If you sleep in your wig and I we had customers to sleep in their way and thereby I'm I don't know every two weeks, because you just absolutely ruin them. So there's just other things that you can wear to bed yeah, I mean I understand if you're, if you're not comfortable doing that, but if you absolutely have to have hair watch our show we're about to do Amazon, wigs because you can get them really cheap and You know it's a dark and you know just you know when he starts snoring, then you know you just switch legs and and yeah, but don't use your you're good good, wigs just sleep in unless you have one you're ready to almost throw away or if you Have unlimited resources and you want to buy a new band yeah sleep in it. You know I used to have laid about went every single week. Every single Monday we mailed her a new extra, which was crazy me, but anyway, so you know what's coming up what the holidays. Oh, I know it is time it is time to talk about party hair, and you know we did the party here Halloween here. I'M talking about Christmas pricey care yeah because I mean Christmas parties are already getting scheduled and Thanksgiving. So I made me find a nice party schedule you'll be fun. I just had this idea what, if we did something where like, if you were at Brooklyn mhm, and you thought I just want to have party hair like if it was curled well, you could get January and kind of looked like he curled your hair, so you'd Have a different style, but nobody would know that'd be fun to do like Sister, Sister being sister style. I mean if you wear a wig every day and say, for instance, you wear this. You know there are some days even my own hair. I wanted just a little bit different, but I don't want you know if I'm wearing a wig everybody to know. Oh, my goodness, I'm so different. Okay, that's a good idea camp and because we did we've done that for people before yeah, because for parties I mean you're, not wearing the same clothes, you're wearing to the office. You'Re right fancy clothes on, and so why not have some fancy or just to put a clip in it, sometimes isn't enough why you want to feel like everyone's a mock you've been beauty shop and have a big clam. That'S a good idea! Maybe we'll do that. New, maybe we'll wear sparkles stuff, oh reason just job. I always every the job yeah yeah somebody mentioned back on the other thing, the turbans. Yes, you can always sleep in a term in and and we had a request from Trina that says: can we do? I? Don'T know if I can help with this or not but she's like. Can you do a video on wigs for small faces, and so that's a good question, because a lot of times when you have petite features you feel covered up with wigs. We don't have small faces. I know, okay, if I could get my whole self smaller. I would I'm sure that we have a client that has a small face that wouldn't mind us, maybe using I'm okay, we'll try well we'll try what else is going on yeah and some are just says: I'd love to see a straight and curly wavy sister wig Sister wig, I like that yeah. What else is going on other than the fact that we had an echo the first 10 minutes all right one of these days. This is gon na go so perfect. We have it. We have lots of redeeming qualities. I t's not one of them but misty whatever. Whatever goes right in this whole thing miss you did so just know that, because I three wigs on the microphone and we got it up - it's not me uh yeah yeah. Well, they don't see everything. Balancing thing goes wrong: yeah, we recorded five videos and I didn't realize the sound was off yeah. So that was my fault. We'Ve got more videos coming out, so we we did a whole bunch. We did the funnest one. We told you we're gon na. Do the fact the scam thing and we did it yeah, we did it and it's yeah. She abuses me. She makes me put things on my head that are ugly. I don't know, that's what she gets. Cuz she's, the boss. I do it, and so I try to be a good sport about it, but yeah, if be sure and watch our scam wigs, because it really is a big problem. Right now, John, like we said last week, John rhinos posted it on Facebook a couple of different times and we're. We love our customers. We are getting so many emails, Facebook messages and YouTube messages of people, sending us a link and go gee. Did you know your face is on this site and it's not anything that we're doing they're just grabbing images off Facebook and putting it on something, and so the point is if it's too good to be true, it is too good be true and the $ 20 Wigs with a face and style that goes with John Renault or noriko, or whatever image they've stolen, it's not the same. I promise you it's alright, so it's not. I mean I. This is the story that haven't. I forgot all about this. So just now Marcia and I got Marcia's yeah, one of the other girls that works here. We got caught up in this fake Tom's we're ordering these Tom's they're like 15 bucks. A pair order like for our pair six pair was more if it's like. We had Tom's coming in every day and they said Tom's yeah. It was Donna on the right way. It was a little crooked and a small fell off. I mean you know it was like two sizes. Different one pair was like too big. I'M here to smell. I'M telling you yeah, it was right, I mean I can even give those things away. The problem is, everybody wants a deal, I mean we all want to deal. We all want to get something for for a good price, but yeah just be careful, because the thing is when you try to go back and contact these companies and try to send back whatever it is. You'Ve purchased, there's nobody there. They have um. You know don't put on their site: Oh customer service, 24 hours a day. Now, if they don't answer the phone, your money is gone. And what did you say? What was the quote? It'S a 17-7. I said it last week that it was a 17 billion dollar loss but um. I went back and reread the email, 17 billion trillion 17 trillion in scams, not wigs, but just yeah. Everything just be housed aboard that's what kind of scam so yeah! There'S big money for these people in scams: there is, and I'm the biggest sucker and we fought for it, so just don't fall for it. For the wigs I bought a Louis Vuitton purse back alley of New York City in Chinatown was when I got on the elevator. This is a true story. I got in an elevator with this little old man and he had the cake store. He takes me up. Three, I knew it was fake. I wanted a fake one because I want to say I bought something in Chinatown and you know that was more fun than anything I didn't carry it. I don't even know what happened to at least you get killed. I didn't get killed and I got the matching wallet in the trunk of a car. It was all about experience how I can live without that, oh no, you got to have you got to make memories cam you got to make experiences. Oh I'm not things. I Nate memories. I think I read that on a Hallmark card experience, not thanks all right any more question morning from Austria, yeah, hey das, gel yeah hi. It'S lunchtime here past lunchtime, here huh, I can't I can't see the comments she's got stuff in the way. So she see already she's got a she only one that can see the comments. I don't want her to know what they are, I'm trying to keep her from certain things, and sometimes it's a problem. If I know too much, somebody said that we remind them of Lucy and Ethel. I only knew if you I'm yourself days. I feel like free, I'm just gon na tell a story on myself: okay, okay, so this week, and we dressed up for Halloween last week. Well, you saw it, but this that we we were on the day before Halloween, so on Halloween we dressed up and Marcia wanted to be Daisy Mae. Now Alan Ellie Mae, okay crank it with her little, and so she wanted to have red ribbons in her pigtails. So, on the very back of the store, I've got a ribbon box and it's buried in the back and, like don't worry, I can find it. I can find it just hang on, so I get down on the floor and I'm digging through there and just grabbing stuff and just throwing it out just yeah, and I grabbed a can of paint and squeeze it and literally paint my face. I don't even know how that happened, how did trigger it had a trigger, and so I just grabbed it, and it's just I mean it's father. We were gon na call our PD, and literally I mean thank goodness I shut my ID. I really thought it went. My eyeball, but it didn't, I just kind of panicked so anyway, I'm out there with a customer - and I hear this and Marshall saying - are you okay and somebody screaming? No, so I come running back here and cam come from the corner, she's going to the bathroom and she's just got, but let me tell you the best part of this. She had spent too much time putting her eye shadow and her fake lashes on she. Take it off of her. I like cleaned out what I needed to to keep my makeup in check, but I knew it was still on my eyelid, so I waited till. I got home that night when I got home that night, I had to take it off there and the only thing that would take it off is nail polish remover. So anyway, that's the kind of stuff that goes on around here yeah. So you said things you said: we'd create experiences. That was an experience, so it was such a good time. I will pay attention when I grab stuff now. Well that paints gone yeah. How will we put that in the trash again yeah all right? Oh my goodness. Okay, um to contact us someone's asking about contact.
