BEAUTY PRODUCTS I ALWAYS USE:

Beautisol is my fave self tanner..no bad smell, an even creamy tan that lasts. I use on my face too..after exfoliating. It was originally sold on QVC.. THE best stuff. I use from May-September. https://amzn.to/2IK0rwh

Beautisol Need I Glow More Sunless Face Tanner https://amzn.to/2uES64W

I use these exfoliating gloves before applying self tanner.. and at least once a week all year round. I throw them in the washer and reuse! I prefer this to heavy gritty scrubs that are harder on the skin and are very expensive.

https://amzn.to/2U2ekZ9

Famous Dave’s Self Tanning Mitt for streak free smooth application of self tanning lotions and mousse. Reusable/washable https://amzn.to/2UqYET6

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Medium, not a self tanner..color only. Perfect for adding a touch of color to legs and arms and even out a tan, covers veins and blemishes. I recommend using with the Famous Dave’s Mitt https://amzn.to/2OCCl7I

Australian Gold Botanical Mineral Sunscreen for face..non greasy, mildly tinted, absorbs completely https://amzn.to/2UqYET6

Colorscience powder mineral sunscreen brush applicator 50 SPF..perfect to carry in your bag! https://amzn.to/2WEwmSO

Emoji Tweeze..I use this daily on upper lip and facial areas where my “grandma whiskers” appear.. it removes hair from the root through a pulling motion. Not painful, but takes some getting used to. This is one “As Seen On TV” product that I’ve used for over 10 years. NOT for eyebrows, but can be used between eye brows. Easier than manually tweezing..easy!

https://amzn.to/2DnMhy6

I cannot live without this toothbrush! I love my Oral B 8000. It cleans like you’ve just come back from the dentist, yet it’s super gentle..and it whitens!

https://amzn.to/2D7oe6o

I use these exact clippers to cut my own hair

https://amzn.to/2SMZi9G

Blumbody Silicon Neck Pads - I’ll do a video on these soon..

COSMETICS I ALWAYS STICK WITH:

Cover Girl Jumbo Gloss Balm..Cocoa Twist- I use this color in most videos:

L’Oréal True March Foundation (N3)- I use this daily, but will add a bit of

(N4) in summer or when using self tanner:

https://amzn.to/2RSFt3x

L’Oréal True Match Foundation(N4) - I blend a bit of this into the (N3)

THE CAMERA & EQUIPMENT I USE WHEN FILMING:

The camera I use is a Canon Vixia HF700 - I like it because it provides high quality High Def videos while being user friendly and it won’t break the bank!

https://amzn.to/2RK5QbP

Here is my Neewer LED ring light I use for all my videos. Beautiful and flattering light!

I flank my camera stand with these soft boxes studio lighting..it helps add light to the room and backlight my wig stands.

Hi everybody welcome back to Texas with closet. This is Tazz. Today, I'm going to present one of the newest styles by genre, no new for 2019 spring. This is Gabrielle in the color Malibu blonde, which is 12 FS 12. I'Ve received this wig from Andrea, a Twix studio. One for this review be sure to go out to wink Studio One to find this wig, all of the other genre nose styles and much more wig Studio. One also sponsors a private Facebook group. You can find it by searching wig studio, one wigs and topper support group. So Gabrielle is a really heavily layered short bob cut. Let'S go ahead and go through the specs, so the front piece here is about 5.75. Now, that's probably going to reach down to about the bottom, my lip, because I'm about seven inches from hairline to chin. We have about a five point: seven five inch crown layer, a 2.75 inch nape and then there's a very unique 4 inch side layer here which actually stretches out behind the ear as well: a temple to Temple, hand-tight lace, front one of John rhinos; smart lace fronts. They use a welded material which makes it extra strong and very pliable. It'S a single monofilament top and then a hand tied cap, so you'll find a monofilament base with cluster knots and then it is covered by a nice mesh material and I'll show you the cap here pretty soon. So let's go ahead and take a look at this lace front, so the nuts are done very well. This new 12 FS 12 color has a little bit of a lighter root than the 12 FS Tate and combined with these very fine fibers. That gives a very nice knotting effect there and then you've got your single single monofilament top very easy to see through to the illusion of scalp, in fact anywhere throughout this cap, you're going to be able to get the illusion of scalp due to that monofilament base. The Johno 12 FS 12 is one of their brand-new blondes in the california blondes collection released in 2008. It is a light brown base and you'll find some light. Brown at the at the base of the name, especially you've, got some medium gold blonde and then some very pale gold blonde highlights. All of that is on a light brown root. I think all of that is true. I think that this color is very warm. It seems warmer to me than the sister color, 12 FS 8. You will find that the layers I'm Gabrielle, especially in the front and on the side they kind of have an inward swept movement, as I mentioned, and it kind of comes to a point right there. If you follow the grain of the fibers you're not going to get much lift and volume on this style just because it is completely hand tied, there's no permit ease at all on this style, but the way the stacking is done in the back. You will see a little bit of profile here with an ample nape, there's no permit ease and the fibers are extremely dry and fine. Now, when I say dry, I just mean very baby fine. They actually feel very silky like spun silk and because of these very fine fibers they're, not real what I would like to call impressionable. Sometimes you can get nice layered bobs, where you can kind of move the fibers around and get some spike eNOS and bring out a lot of texture you're not going to be able to achieve that with this style. Unless you have a styling product, I recommend John Reno's, a contour fiber cream and you can heat some up in your hands and start at the root and just really bring out the layering and the texture of this wig, and that also goes for the density. It'S a very light density this week only weighs one point: eight ounces, imagine that it's a completely hand tied cap with lace, front monofilament and only weighs one point: eight ounces. This is one hand tied wig that I think you can deal with in a warm weather climate or in the summertime, a lot of the hand tied wigs kind of trap, heat and so forth, but because this one is so lightweight, I really think it's going to Be a good option for for summer, here's an inside look at the cap for Gabriella and it only weighs one point: eight ounces, it's it's just as lightweight as I've ever felt a wig. You have the temple to Temple lace, front. A seam joins the lace front to the single monofilament top all the seams are velvet lined you have a nice ear tab here. It'S closed velvet lined, there's an extended velvet, nape and velcro adjusters. Here'S your monofilament base covered with a beautiful mesh material. It'S very comfortable and see-through there's not a lot of stretch on this style, its average size right out of the box, and I had to cinch it in a lot to accommodate my petite average circumference. I suggest that if you have a circumference below 22 that you would buy the petite size, so I'm happy to report that, based on the fact that there's no permit ease and a very slim ear tabs here, you can easily rest your glasses right on the ear. Without any problem, one of the main things with your styling hair is going to be aside from some accessories and we'll get into. That is the fact that you can move around this part wherever you want, and I really like that option with a shorter wig, because with shorter wings, sometimes you don't have as many versatile styling options as you might with a longer style. So you could even take a really wide part again. I definitely would be using some fiber cream or styling cream just to help hold the shape of your style with these fine fibers. Thanks for joining me for this review of the brand new genre, no Gabrielle in the color Malibu blonde 12 FS 12 see you next time on taxes, wait closet,

Kari Stone: Hi Taz, I've had my eye on this one for a while. I love the versatility of the shorter layers and the fact that it looks so natural. Your review of the Gabrielle is the best one I've found so far! Many thanks.

Terese Weir: Thank you for the great review! I'm seeing this as my transition from Mariska. Love that it's so lightweight, has a very natural density, and it comes petite!! Brava, Taz!

cathie cat: Beautiful wig ! Love the color and style ! And the light weight really is a plus Thanks, Taz, for this detailed review .

The Body,Mind&Spirit Channel Cynthia Greer: This is adorable ! I love it ! It looks so cute on you and yes, it's a perfect summer wig ! It would make any woman feel carefree. It would be so great for a day of going out to lunch and having a beautiful day ! Wonderful review !

Wig Studio 1: So pretty on you Taz!! I love how you changed your look with just a few simple steps. Soooo cute!! Happy Summer! xoxo

wign out: Taz, you always do a great and thorough review. You are beautiful and wear these all so well. As a professional wig stylist, I appreciate you and the help you give to others. I like your honesty and value the opinions you give as a wig wearer, yourself.

Gee: Taz, you're a life saver! Thanks for doing this videos as I really don't know how I'd research these wigs without help. Thank you!

Liz Lyons: That cap is amazing. I have never seen anything else like it. Very cute cut. I have been thinking of trying 12FS8 and may do it with Gabrielle. My circ is <22 so I might try the petite. xoxo

Deborah Luongo: Taz this is really adorable on you! Even though I love the longer wigs on you this is still a very short but sassy classy wig! The Versatile styles that you have shown are really creative!

Suku Mac: It looks fantastic on you - and I must have one!! I find the fewer fibres and no permatease makes a wig look more natural. The first thing I do when I see a wig is look at the natural parting - if there is loads of hair there - making it impossible to see down to the base just a bit , then it’s off my list. this one has a lovely natural fall to it - it’s not overdone. :)

Cynthia Lewman: Thanks for your wonderful review, Taz! Gabrielle looks adorable on you. I just received my Gabrielle last week in Palm Springs Blonde. I'd recommend that color to anyone who likes JR Martini and was hoping for a root or a little more drama to Martini. I have a JR question that's been bothering me for the last several months about JR's newer styles. I'm confused about the several short hairs (1-2") they've been adding to their newest styles. I've found myself pulling out dozens of these fibers since they either stick straight up or move toward my face in an unnatural pattern. JR wigs are my favorite brand since their styling cuts are so precision and sophisticated, but these short hairs are driving me crazy! Do you have any perspective or tips on managing these hairs? Or am I the only one bothered by them?! - Cynthia

Pippinhill Haviland: Another great review with all the little details that mean so much. You’re such a valuable resource!
