How To Lighten Bundles Brown Or Blonde | No Bleach | Wig Series Part 1

Hey loves and welcome back to my channel and if you are new, welcome to the curly beauty gang period. So this is going to be part one of my wig series. So if you want to know how to get your bundles from black to brown or blonde without bleach, then keep on watching all you're gon na need is some 40 volume developer that you can get from Sally's some aluminum foil, gloves scissors, and how can we forget Your bundles, it is also very important that you're wearing an old shirt if you are a beginner and work on a hard surface and not a rug. So after I put my gloves on I'm taking my aluminum foil now and laying out sheets of foil, it is also very important to wear these gloves because if you work with developer without gloves, your hands are gon na, be white and they're going to stay white For a couple of days - and it's gon na be very irritating, so don't do what I did cuz. I did that before so now, I'm just laying my bundles out and spreading them out on the foil now you're gon na take your scissors and you're going to cut that yellow band right up top of the bundles, and this is so when you apply your developer, You can get all up in the roots and everything you can also unravel your bundles, but I personally like to keep them together because I feel like you can get a little tangley and everything, and I don't like dealing with that. So, as you see, I just kind of loosened it up, so I can like move the bundles and apply the developer on the roots, but I didn't like completely separate it if you get what I'm saying. Okay, so here comes the fun part you're gon na. Take your 40 volume developer and drip it all in the hair and you're going to rub it and blend it in I like to get some of the developer in the hair first and then I like to go back and apply more and more. You can also use a brush, but I personally like to just use my hands to do this step now. I don't know if you guys are sensitive to 40 volume developer, but it usually gets me lightheaded and gives me a headache so open your window or turn on a fan. If you need to because this stuff is a chemical, so it can be strong. Now I'm gathering all my bundles and I'm just going to saturate all of them with developer, so I'm doing the same thing saturating it first and then I'll go back and keep applying more or as much as I need. So this is exactly what I'm talking about since I didn't separate the hair, I'm going to have to really work to get that developer and the roots, so I'm applying it and the roots and I'm like pushing it up and blending it in. If that makes sense, you want to get all strands of hair, you don't want no black and brown hair, so I'm just trying to push it up to the point that it looks awkward. So all the pieces of hair can have developer in it. So all I'm doing is just taking my developer and it's kind of spreading the hair open to make sure all the strands are here have some product in it. So that's what I'm doing so. I'M just doing this same process with the kinky curly bundles. So now you're going to wrap the hair in the foil and you want to wrap it very tightly, so the heat can compress. This hair can change color girl, so I'm letting it sit out in the Sun, and this was like the perfect weather. It'S like 92 degrees, set an alarm for three hours but check it every hour. So this is an hour later and it is a good thing that I did check because it literally was done in an hour and I believe it was because it was so hot outside and the other times. I did this, it wasn't so you can see it is brown and just because it is wet and may look a little dark, but do not let that fool you, because in the sunlight you can see that this hair is brown. So the closure on the kinky curly actually turned blond, so I was a little upset about that. That was unplanned guys, I'm telling you that does not happen, so it must have really been hot. So, for that reason I am washing the developer out of the kinky curly hair. First, the stray hair was fine. It was just the curly hair that turned fast. First, okay, y'all can see how blonde those roots cot they look brassy and just ugly. So now I'm going in with my Moroccan shampoo and I'm just gon na shampoo, all of these bundles. So everything is shampooed. So now I'm taking this Morocco conditioner and I'm just squirting it on the hair and now I'm going to take this coconut curls conditioner and put it on the curly hair. Only and last but not least, Carol's Daughter, leave-in conditioner. I like to spray that one. My bundles cuz, it smells good and it definitely leaves the hair moisturized okay guys, so I actually went ahead and got some hair dye to dye that kinky curly closure Brown, because I couldn't stand it being blonde, alright guys. So this is the final result of the hair, so you can see it is brown for real and some of the hair is still damp. So that's why some hair is light.
