Repair Dry Damaged Blonde Curly Hair!

I have been going Blonde for over10 years now! That is honestly so crazy and is probably a big part of why I struggle with length retention but its the trade off I made peace with because I really do love this colour :)

I went quite a few months in between hair colour treatments and during that time did a fair share of travel and as you can see, my roots grew out so much and my ends became really dry brittle and dull due to lack of maintenance (weekly deep conditioning treatments etc!).

I connected with one of my favourite celebrity stylists/ colourists, Alexander Armand, to update my colour and also repair my damaged blonde curly hair.

He did an AMAZING job! What a 180 from when I first sat in his chair. He used a mix of Bonding treatments such as Olaplex, to repair the damaged bonds in the Disulfide layer of my hair follicles. (If you're not sure what that is, you're not alone haha I had no idea either but when you do permanent chemical processes on your hair it breaks down these bonds affecting the integrity (read strength and structure) of your hair.

SO all this to say, protein and bonding treatments will work WONDERS in repairing your damaged colour treated curls!

Thank you so much for watching and please like and subscribe!

Okay, guys, I am finally getting my head done. You can see how much these roots have grown out, I'm here in LA with Alexander okay. He is going to help me take this from sham glam. So some of my issues with my hair is that I'm not retaining any length, which means I'm getting lots of breakage. I think different elements of traveling everywhere in different water and just different products have been using and not being consistent. In my hair care, routine has led to dryness breakage and also, of course, I have I dye my hair blonde, so that adds to some of the fragility that I think we're experiences. So today I don't know how we're gon na do it somehow somehow tell them what we're gon na do so, basically gon na. Do it because our hands are super dry in their brillo. We'Re gon na go in with all the flags gon na put the conditioner on it, keep it protected and then we're gon na follow the hi little color to the group. We'Re not gon na use light in there because right now, not you get right now. Do some color lift that color up get this black group? That'S what light goldish color the ends. Gon na use like a blue base. Toner is looking like popping. Is that like white silvery, platinum ish go not more, so you get the drift okay, and can you tell us what is olaplex do so? Basically, what it does is that it goes. It is a restoring treatment, so it helps the bond so that you can also use it when you're lighting the hair. It just helps i almost it's like a buffer which it puts conditioner into the hair at the same time of lifting it up. Okay, that's our look like says guys if you have been wondering so we're plying the other plugs to my roots. Look at how much my roots are gon na. How much would you say that is before inches, at least for for sure at least four inches? How does my scout put a lot of water? Well, I've been having my water yeah. I have been hydrating, so we are almost done with the just olaplex step, one on the roots: multiplex web color, okay, olaplex web color, and I just ordered all this unhealthy food. I'M dragging eyes on it down my we just took my hair out of the dryer unit. You can totally see the colors fusing. I was saying I haven't even seen my roots like this. In so long, okay, baby, we just inhaled all our vegan will have vegan snacks. What did you do yours baby? So we left under the heat for about 10 minutes now we're just letting the cuticles clothes when letting that heat kind of cool off and then we're gon na give it a good rinse and see how it feels and so on. My roots is the olaplex with kala and then the rest of my hair to give it strength to give it moisture, give it protein because of all the breakage. If I have the split ends, it has bonds, 9, never gon na bond 9. So now I know bond 9 and deep conditioner to help get it together. I can't wait to feel it and see those like ten minutes. I came in here guys dry hands are free. Look at that color pay out guys that is so gorgeous. Oh, my gosh. Look at this colors plans right there yeah it literally blends. So perfectly that is beautiful. We have finished the coloring. We have some products in it, the future and we're so gon na defuse it in a second and then we got a tram in and we done and then we're done we're done. The hairs now has a home trim, the top, and you touch that blow the collar. What do you do these? The it cause it in this light, thinkin I'm in love with it. I can feel the ends, there's so much more moisturize. So much softer, no more. Like straggly bends to the roots are done, everything's blending in perfectly
