Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful, happy quarantine. How are we feeling? Are we good? Are we staying inside we're not getting anybody sick, I'm feeling healthy? I hope you are too and welcome to hairdress reacts the perfect way to cure your boredom today. Thank you for being here today we're watching some girls go from red to blonde, which I'm sure you can already imagine is a very difficult task. Now it's difficult for hairdressers, but these girls hope they're not seeing no hairdressers, no, no, no, my wood bag! These girls are about to risk it all in order to go from red to blond all by themselves. Hopefully it comes out nice. I think we're gon na see a lot of orange hair. I mean I know we are and a lot of bleach and a lot of color remover, which sounds right up my alley. I'M excited to see what happens. Let'S get it started. You guys think with bangs bangs and our first contestant today on the show. Can you make your hair from red to blond all by yourself is Mandy Petrovsky and this video is called burgundy red to blonde hair at home? Alright, alright! Alright, let's see what you got, though I just went to Sally's beauty and I got this. Every good hair fails with Sally's and then I'm gon na bleach it with the 30 volume cream from salon hair. Okay, blue, okay. It'S like a booster they'll, give you extra protection. I can't see the brassy tones the camera doctor that I'm going to tone it with the well of color 280. All the color charge 20 great, we're using 20 volume for a toner, always a good decision, I'm kidding by the way the shampoo and conditioner or blonde hair. Let me just tell you that I cannot wait until my blonde shampoo and conditioner comes out, get ready, no you're, not okay, so we're starting off the level six red. Definitely Burgundy! Ish, I'm seeing a little bit of orange in there she's trying to go white. I don't think that's gon na happen and also her hair looks a bit compromised to start. Color fix we're gon na do a color remover first, so I've covered my hair completely in the color remover poly remover is a great option. If you're trying to take out red of pigment from the hair all over my head, no change so far, I'm gon na time it for 20 minutes and just see what happens. I just got done. Removing all the colors okay looks like it removed all the right from my hair at least yeah bun. It does look a lot better. Actually, I want to see a dry okay, we're not going to show it dry, but in the coconut oil after I stripped the color from my hair, even though it looks pretty dark still, I think your hair just wet actually usually when you blow-dry it'll, look a Lot lighter, okay, Oh so we've applied the coconut oil on wet hair and then we applied the bleach on the wet hair. That'S a lot of wetness, which is just gon na dilute the developer. So it's gon na bring that dirty volume down to a 20. Probably she got it right on those roots. She got hot roots and she's got some copper ends and orange, and a lot going on here. Good luck to you trying to fix this. Oh he's right and coconut oil in my hair overnight. I'M about to bleach it! Yet again, oh god, please don't bleach your roots again. I just bleached my hair rinse it out and I'm getting a lot more of an orange color. I'M not sure if this is enough. It looks a whole lot better right and she did didn't bleach her roots. It looks like to me so that's awesome her and it's a lot better. I think she needs to lighten it one more time - and this is unfortunately gon na - be a very, very stressful thing to her hair. Her hair is gon na, be like no don't do it to me anymore, but I don't think I want to bleach my hair again. I just don't think that it's very good for it and it feels like straw right she's, a smart girl. Oh, here's a tip by the way, guys usually hair, always feels like straw after bleaching it, even if your hair is healthy. You just need to wash it like a couple of times or like three times in order to get all that Lightner out of your hair. The straw feeling should go away. Girl come on you're gon na tone that, with t18 t18 is a level 10 toner. That means you have to put it on hair. That is level 10, which is like the inside of a banana. You ever seen one of those the inside of a banana um. Your hair is orange, it's not gon na do anything and you just wasted a whole lot of money buying that stuff, it always looks promising, and then you see when it rinses off, and it's just of course it's not gon na be white all right everyone. I look 60 years older. My hair is orange. Oh, oh after i toned it for 30 minutes using the t18 color, not totally hating this color, it's quite even somehow. I really don't even know how she accomplished that it's not the worst thing. I'Ve ever seen. I actually do like it better than the red on her. It'S a whole different vibe and I'm really feeling it. It'S definitely yellow. She needs to get it full head of highlights at this point. I don't really help her situation, goop bleaches with prism and that a dress, remover and she's actually made a lot of progress. I hate it absolutely I don't know if I should go to this one or just like wait another couple weeks and bleach it again. I can't wait to see what she does put some makeup on now to to see if I could, just like, maybe get rid of the ugly. Oh me, okay, two days later, okay, what are we doing? What do i do? What would you putting the purple shampoo in it? I mean conditioner. I have not shampooed my hair at all because I'm scared of it falling out, but it makes some of the conditioner and, with some of the ion like sealer stuff, alright kids got the bleach to help me get it in the back. There'S my sister in the back so not mad at this either she separated out each section, which is actually quite nice. The way she did that with some paper towels. You know we wouldn't normally not use paper towel. Whenever you got around the house, you know it works, it works. She also avoided her roots, which I really like, and I think her hair is gon na, be foggy all right, so I rinse the bleach out and it looks it's starting to look lighter now that it's that looks better and go get some more yeah. There'S other toners besides t18, there really is even within that. Well, a color charm line. There are toners that are not as lights and they'll, be better for your hair. T18 is not the only thing you can use. I promise they gave me t14. Yes, they didn't do t18, thank God they did t14, which is better. I just know it's like a darker level than t18. So take it add some more of this in there, so it protects my hair and then a color sealer after to lock in the hair. She could have just paid to go to a salon and it would have been the same amount of money. I mean at this point she's spent at least like a hundred and sixty to two hundred dollars and a lot of her time. I put on the well a t14 toner and so far it's really turning purpley only been like five minutes, but it looks like it will definitely be silver or gray. What we can hope for in stop the developer. I mean the toner, Oh RINO. I have some purple conditioner, i shampooed it and now I have purple conditioner sitting in with damage remedy. I got excited. I thought that was the outcome all right. I rinse out the conditioner and I'm about to put in the color sealer, but I just wanted everyone to know. It looks so much better yeah, oh my god, so much different. Oh my god. It looks so good better! Oh, it took out so much of the brassiness. I just rinsed out. I put on a little bit of makeup just to see how slow, but I rinsed out the toner Tanya happier with this color then mm I had before I did the toner. What she's doing is not an easy process, I'm just happy. She ended up with a decent blonde tone that she can live with. She doesn't look bad, she actually looks good and it's not perfect. However, she just went from red dark red to really light blonde. Like a little nine blonde, that's hard and she did it quite well. If your hair has any yellow or orange in it, do not use the t18. Definitely bleach it one more time and go for the t14, although you might think it come up, will come out. Great mine came out like actually the color that I was have listened to her. I mean other than these ends here, but I can't bleach or do anything to these, not for a long, long, long time or grow it out and never. But this is the final result that was actually really good. I am satisfied with that Congrats on the new blonde hair. You look fabulous, I really like it. I would still go to a hairdresser and get a full foil done. That will help break up all that yellow you've seen between and not really damage your hair too much because you're not lightening every single piece of hair, but it'll give a nice variation to colors. It take a white strand a little bit of a yellow strand, a white strand, yellow strand, so to give a little variation and break up that yellow you're, seeing at the bottom of your hair, without causing too much damage. Thank You Mandy and our next video is by brandy, hey brandy, how's it going, and this video is called bleaching, my bright red hair to blonde yikes. Okay brandy, let's see what we got going on here. So if you can see my hair now that I'm actually recording, I see a little difference so today I did the telus treatment using vitamin C and your shampoo to break it down real quick. We have a copper color going on right, so it's a little bit more on the orangie side, I see a lot of yellow as a lot of oranges and tint of red with a bit of a route going on and she did the vitamin C method which, If you don't know is basically like vitamin C, literally capsules of vitamin C into shampoo, it's supposed to take your color out. I think it's supposed to swell your hair fiber and release the artificial pigment, but I don't really think it's that effective. I haven't really seen anybody do it and they come out amazing, but I've been wrong before I have so many different shades in my hair. So, like there's still a lot of red, I actually feel like it took some of the color out that looks kind of brown to me, but like not a good Brown, I've been bleached my hair in years and literally every time I bleached my hair. Something went wrong, but that's because I didn't know what toner was or how to use it. I think I'm more prepared we'll see about that. Um people think they know what toner is and mostly nobody does, which is interesting, because I think it's one of the most simple things to understand about hair care is a toner. You know what no it's not. I lied. I can't tell you what, if it's simple or not, because it just makes a lot of sense to me, but most my hairdressers. So what do I know? Actually? I do know, I know a bit of things. Actually I don't feel like I didn't get enough toner. I'M just nervous and we might have to cut her hair after this. I think I'm just gon na leave my roots dark for now, because, like not trying to impress anyone anyways, it's probably not gon na work out since you're, probably gon na put color remover on your hair or bleach and you're gon na end up getting a roots. Colored and it's just gon na be a mess because I wash my hair today and it's not a good idea to wash your hair before you bleach it, but here so gon na be a nightmare, but - and she said it all guys - I wash my hair today. It'S gon na be disaster because, unless it's to wash my hair, when I bleach it yeah, it's not gon na go well. I couldn't have said it better myself, brandy what the hell, let me say next time, okay, what am I here for you can't be bringing yourself down, or else I'm not gon na - have anything to do I'll be out of a job. I'M not gon na worry about a camera. You see me he'll probably have like. Oh, she is so hopeful she's really going into this already. Knowing it's gon na be the worst outcome ever which I guess I appreciate in some odd sort of way. Okay, so she's not gon na, show us how she did the bleach, but whatever we'll see what happens? Okay, you guys. Okay, okay, it's pink again! I said pretty much every video at this point. That'S not enough bleach! You got ta put like more bleach on your hair, or else it's not gon na work. Um, it shouldn't be like bone dry. It should never be dry like that until literally, maybe the last few minutes of the bleach being on your head um. Otherwise, you got to keep it. Moist bleach loves the moistness, it doesn't like dryness. This is not okay, pink wet before I rinse it out. Okay, I do feel like so when you lift red hair. Often it does turn pink because obviously the red fades out to pink and if you're like a true red, the haircolor that you're using usually has a mixture of you, know, yellow red. But most of it is red, so you're, seeing that red pigment fade out and turn to pink. I know you're not supposed to bleach it more than once in a day. Okay, so the whole, you shouldn't bleach your hair out twice in one day, it's kind of like a dumb rule, because you can of course, bleach your hair more than once in the same day, um it doesn't matter if it's a day later or a week later, Your hair is not gon na be in a different state in a week. It'S not it's still the same hair I mean you can like do a few masks and stuff what a hair mask does is temporarily fill the holes in your hair, have been weakened from lightning and what's gon na happen when you put bleach on is just gon Na eat that conditioner away, it's not gon na, like save your hair or whatever I don't know where that comes from, but once your hair is dead, you can't bring it back to life. You can make it feel better and look a lot better, but you cannot actually physically bring it back to life. You can bleach your hair as many times in a day as you want to until you know it starts to feel, and then you should wait. A couple months you know, or long or like six months until it grows back out on my group, which, if you've been watching, you should know that what did I say? What did I say your roots? What I just cannot do this, I can't some parts are not that bad, but when you get to the roots area, pretty bad, so we're going to be doing the roots and going a little bit nice and splotchy whoo orange like this. Not really on that. Like that's not that bad, I feel like a Katona's that maybe just a little bit right there, but not like all that, because that's pretty damaged the toner. I used two different kinds. It looks purple part of it looked green, so I'm a little like I'm honestly. Just freaking out at this point: clearly she used t18 to do this. I don't know how it became so popular, but I didn't like it for a long time actually and then I realized this is not good, because it's a permanent color, you just don't need it. That strength on the hair that was just lightened, Tia teens a mess. Okay, it just is, I still put the purple in like the main dye, so this is just toner, so if it doesn't work, we're just gon na put the purple in later today, we're back! Oh, here's not purple, because not gon na go purple anymore. What, if her hair, look good? It'S not perfect, it's not, but it looks decent and I'm wearing a cat. Hardly that's why and I just don't like the look of it right now. It'S actually kinda cute expecting this to go wayward. Obviously there are spots like in the back where the roots are just girls. This is not bad. This is until I dyed it purple and get rid of like that. Reddish hair was so hard, and so I have a lot of like like in the back back here. Can we talk about how amazing our roots look? They are not over processed there. So even this looks great. So apparently brandy ended up leaving her hair. There she's got ta stop there, which I actually think is a good idea of her, because otherwise I think you would have gone a little bit downhill. She also chops off her hair, and I just want out real quick to see the full outcome of what happens to Brandy's hair, because that wasn't enough. For me, this is going to be me trying to cut my extremely damaged hair. It'S not extremely damaged, I'm not even really sure I want to cut off, I'm so impressed with how even her hair is. It'S not perfect, but she definitely went from red to blonde. That'S for damn sure. I'M gon na cut off a large amount, like probably up to here, yes willing to go just in case it totally somewhere, because that could happen and then my hair right now is extremely damaged. I have not been recording my adventures anymore, but I have finally gotten my hair to a color. I don't hate the yellow light, so it's making my hair a little bit more yellow, but we're wired up here in a little darker at the bottom. Okay, no is a no, no okay, brandy. Here'S this thing, if you just did a proper glaze or toner whatever you want to call it. Your hair would look perfect, literally a 45 minute process to just put a toner on your hair, one that has a deeper root with a lighter ends, one with a root glaze that is a little bit deeper and an end lays that's a little bit lighter. It would be so easy and your hair would look perfect. Like a nice level, 7 ash toned root with a level 9 and a beige neutral end color. Oh, it would look perfect on you. It would make it look a lot more natural, a lot more salon. Quality, I also only have one hair tie and I'm really not sure I'm going to do this like I don't really know how I'm gon na cut it. I'M not gon na. Probably do it like this, because I sprained Dee's confidence. It'S just peeking in these videos. Pink it section by section and see how that goes. I really don't know. Okay, so she's going in oh and she's, cutting it and she's doing it. This is gon na, be so good for her, oh yeah Brandi, getting cutting my hair. Oh it's so blunt! It'S so blunt Brandi still kind of damn. My hair is definitely not looking awesome if she shows the bag. It looks really uneven, but here it is from the front so far I know fun. Even people will go get fixed. It actually doesn't look bad. What Brandi you're kind of killing it, except I would have loved to see a more layered haircut on you really blunt ends just really weighing down your hair. There'S just no movement, there's nothing going on, but it's okay! Oh, it looks like a broomstick Brandi. Let'S get dambreuse day, so this is not all my hair, there's so much hair on the ground. I'M gon na have to clean up it's insane. You actually don't really do that bit of a job you kind of killed it like for an at-home job, we're going from red to blond. We kind of did a solid job. I would not like stare at you if I saw you in public, I wouldn't care. Let'S move on Brandi. Thank you for that. Now we have whoa, you guys love the channel name. This video is called reddish-brown hair light blonde 3-step tutorial. Let'S see what we got here, I just had to try so hard to get this freakin camera system. The way it is you're being held up by hair ties. Oh I love that today we are here. If you love me, a good hair tie, dark, auburn, red hair into platinum, blonde oshu color fixed by one and only its color strip. For you, I approve of that. I do I'm gon na be bleaching, especially with 40 wide and developer. This is much more gentle, but she just what she just 40 volume developer. That'S a lot, my magic hair, kid Pyrex Bowl, because you can just go ahead and put everything you need into the bowl for one use. Instead of doing two uses worth separately, I also have a whisk that I took from a kitchen mixer that we never use. I also have these gloves from Sally beautiful. Yes, actually great supplies bow. Those are some nice vinyl gloves a great bowl. That'S a nice little whiskey out there, please pardon how wack my hair looks right now. It'S been up in a bun for the past two days. Again, we're starting off with a level six copper red, not as copper as the other two girls, but yeah and the end is definitely look like they're highly pigmented, whereas the top looks like it's faded out a bit. We'Re gon na probably see another moment where the ends turn out dark and the top part turns out light. But whatever third step is processing lotion, which I'm not gon na use, because I'm pretty sure that this helps to stop the color stripping from happening. If your hair is getting too light, but trying to go blonde when you're buying a color stripper, I would recommend using the products that it comes with, or else it's not gon na work properly. I'M sure that this step three is an important step. I don't think they just threw it in the box to just make sure your hair stops lightening. They probably make sure your hair doesn't fall off or neutralizes of whatever chemicals they had just put in your hair, but step one and two. First, on all of the places that are super pigmented she's starting off on the parts of her hair that are very highly pigmented, she said that's great! You always want to do that, because that part it's gon na, be the most stubborn and it's gon na lighten the slowest out of everything, every step that I do, I'm going to follow with only conditioner you're. Okay, if you use warm water, I'm not sure why she put on her roots, considering her roots are her natural color and she put on her like shaved side, like you, don't have any artificial color on that side of your head and be careful in your scalp. It'S gon na dry, your scalp out a lot before lightnings. This is the lightest I've ever seen. My hair after color fix weird a good spot. Okay, this looks good. That was a really good start. It just lightened her hair like or levels with just a color remover and her hair looks fine. It looks a little bit optimize, but nothing to be scared of, I think it'll be fine. Prison, wives, scented, bleach, okay, this seems to be a fan. Favorite here goes four shades lighter this goes five. You can use it on or off the scalp. So a good idea would be starting with my undercut since it's the natural I'm curious. If I ever come out a bleach like I'm very curious as to how they're formulated because she's saying all this stuff like this one lifts four levels, this one looks five levels. I wonder how much that's actually true, because from my findings, it's not very true at all. A lot of them are very similar and the ones that are very good are very good, just something to think about we're using 40 volume whoa, not the one of the video that I showed, but this was not in a video. It didn't really get a happy result. It'S fine as long as she's, only using it like once, it'll be fine, but if she's using a 40 volume i three times in a row with more and more Lightner. It'S not gon na be cute and her hair is gon na fall to the ground. But I think she's gon na be okay. I got the ion color brilliance, absolute perfection, booster step, one. The part that I failed with is getting the second step, but I think it's fine cuz. The second step is more like a color sealer kind of thing. So I'm guessing this is a bond builder right, so you always need the second step and we'll refer to actually work. The second step is just as important as the first step. There wouldn't be a second step if the second step didn't do anything for some reason. My undercut is super stubborn. It takes forever to lighten compared to the rest of my hair, alright. Well, I wouldn't start in the roots. I'M surprised, she's, saying her undercut takes the longest line. That sounds odd, but okay, we'll go with him. I'Ll believe her. I will say the place that I struggle the most to get lightened, as most people do is right. After the root people, most of the time have trouble getting the ends light and that's about it, not the mid sections. Oh this application process is section it out. Just a little bit, I don't need a lot. She does look like she has enough lytener in her hair, so you did bad. So my whole head is covered in bleach. It would have been better if she started on her end, because those have most pigment on them and then did her roots after after she processes it for like whatever 15-20 minutes and her ends come to that oranjee point. I would then start on your roots, reless or any of those hot roots and for the red ends. It turned out pretty damn bright and also pretty damn damaging after I washed it. It was very whoa, sticky and stuff like that. Go figure because I used 40 volume again, I'm impressed you go ahead and use both boxes of the color charm right now put them both tt needs to stop. Everything is nice and in there do anything like 30 minutes, then I'm gon na do whatever hope it does. I don't water and I'm going to just use conditioner again. Well, I've Damned wanted to just copy. My last clip was super dry and damaged hair. I just wanted to clarify that I actually found the best routine for my hair. It is so healthy right now. This is the result pretty decent, not so long quality, but she did a very good job. Her hair looks healthy, still, um. She didn't push it too far that color came right out. I can't be mad what the happen today. What are these videos, the hair gods, we're just shutting down these people very shocked that t18 even did anything to wear hair. I don't know how that happened, but more power to you girl. Well, those were shockingly great transformations. Perfect! No good! Yes! Will I take it. Yeah nothing actually went totally completely south today, which I don't know how that happened. I actually thought we were gon na see some awful things go on, but um I'm happy. Brad Mondo: Hope you’re all well

Elizabeth Earls: I love how Brad will point out mistakes but also gets so excited when things turn out well for people :-) it’s sweet

K B: Brandi: Won't record herself bleaching but WILL record herself playing with her hair with both hands while driving ‍♀️ Someone take away this girl's car and license ASAP

Abigail: "can we talk about how amazing her roots look?" UH BRAD CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW SHE COMPLETELY TAKES HER HANDS OFF HER STEERING WHEEL FOR LIKE A WHOLE MINUTE???

Chloe wall: I love how he isn’t afraid to admit if something turns out good. It’s so annoying when some stylists act like your hair is awful if you can’t get it professionally done.

Micah Ashley: i’m surprised Brandi didn’t bleach her hair while driving because at this point, she ain’t driving

Erin Murray: Yo, can we talk about how carelessly brandi is driving! She's got both hands off the wheel and I'm low-key freaking out

chvrrvism: brandi's driving makes me so ANXIOUS

Smallz: Are we not gonna talk about how she’s literally not even looking at the road and her hands were completely off the wheel

Boo Radley: I’ve actually learned so much from these reaction videos and they are so much more enjoyable to watch than a regular tutorial. Love you Brad.

Mary Ann’s Crochet Hands: Shout out to Brad using “ compromised” instead of “damaged”. We were taught in Cos. school NOT to say damaged….even though we know that it is definitely damaged

Nina Khamile: brad: “can we talk about how great her roots look?” me: “can we talk about the fact that shes driving with no hands looking at the camera and not the road?”

Kristina Savic: *Me, a redhead planning to go back to platinum blonde soon, watching this while applying a hair mask on my hair:*

Arya Tiwari: I was so excited when Brad said "Can we talk about...." Thinking he's going to talk about her driving-_-

Taco Bella: Me: her hair still looks orange to me Brad : it looks better Me : yeah , it looks better

Barbie’s Up Town Cousin: God Bless my hairdresser. She took me from deep red to platinum blonde to help me grow my grey hair out. I love it. I haven’t had to bleach my hair and now I like to add purple, magenta, and steel blue. And if I want to let it fade, it’s cool because I have enough grey to make my hair a pretty silver color. I use purple shampoos and it is so much fun.

Erin David: This guy is the most positive person I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you for being a decent human. I shouldn’t have to say it, but being nice seems to be dying out (no pun intended) and that’s NOT OKAY! I’ve now subscribed and I don’t subscribe. You got me. Keep up the positivity. OH and I love that you actually explain the science behind hair dyes. As a person who has gone the full spectrum, I wish you’d been my stylist, because so many times it feels like they’re following a script and when shit goes off the rails they have NOTHING to combat it. Mad respect. Thank you for being you.

savanna jaqueth: I literally love all of his videos! we hope you’re okay. you’re doing amazing and we’re so incredibly proud of you. you’re so strong. we love you! we’re here for you <3

Zoe Michele: Can we talk about the fact that Brandi was driving, no hands on the wheel and not looking out the front windshield?!

Kim Kay: Love your videos, my mother was a stylist for 48 years, and she has seen some color disasters. FYI, her generation was of the perm. She could wrap a head in no time. Most of her clients were silver, and shampoo sets. Have a great day.

Jessica Lucas: 3 things I know about Brad Mondo: 1) He is a hair genius 2) He thinks I’m gorgeous 3) He hates T18 toner

Alyssa H: Red to blonde is SO difficult. I went to a salon and the lady made my hair two different colors my roots were blonde and my hair was still so red. Idk how but my sister and I did it at home and it turned out honestly pretty good for how difficult it was to get rid of the red.

ares_o7: I literally can't say or see (this) enough I want to be Brad. His style is so amazing I'm obsessed, he's so talented and sweet. I'd let him literally shave my head and dye it any color he wanted any day

Ashley Price: "Can we just talk about Brandi's driving!?!?!" Yes, It's not like everyone is talking about it, but sure go for it

Cheyenna Gaertner: I've learned alot from Brad. Things like: stoppppp lathering the bleach, DO NOT TOUCH T18, and just go to the salon. Me: Lathering bleach, not going to the salon, not even using a toner just bleaching the living shit out of my hair

Rubylightshow: When we come out of quarantine, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of clients that had nothing better to do than ruin their hair for a few weeks so be ready.

Madeleine Shaw: As a natural blonde, I've gone from red to blonde so many times, almost always on my own. Sometimes it worked a treat, once it was a disaster, lol. I even went back and forth over henna, that takes skillz! Can't wait to see this video.

Brenda B: I love your reaction videos Brad, your videos help get me through the day, you are so knowledgeable and funny at the same time

Andrée Kessler: I loved and needed this a year ago. Few days before a second virtual christmas, this is a small miracle. Thank you for your genuine intro <3 You're the best brad

Elijah Taylor: It’s so funny hearing Brad go off about T18, I used to work at Sally’s and we were told to encourage the T18 Wella for most anyone coming in looking for a toner, so that’s probably why it’s in so many of these videos. Not a huge fan of the Wella myself, more of an Ion fan for toners. But yeah Wella T18 with level 20 developer was what we were told to push

Mell M.S.: Can we all just imagine the amount of DIYs haircuts/dyes gone wrong this quarantine is promising us?

Biblio Wolf: Hair question: After semi-permanent color fades 50-90% would you recommend a color remover, toner, or purple/blue shampoo+conditioner to get a base tone in partially bleached hair?

Melissa McGillivray: Went blonde to burgundy red to light red to blonde many years ago. Took months. Color remover, bleach bath, tone to light brown added highlights. Wash rinse and repeat next time roots showed. Went honey blonde. Waited till the roots grew out and went platinum again. Trimmed my hair from long to just past shoulder length. Worked like a charm.

Joe Watts: Brad- I love the range of knowledge you provide on your videos. It amazes me how these people think that they can go from dark to platinum or from  red to super light blonde in a couple of steps or think that one packet of bleach or one bottle/tube of color is going to cover all that long or thick hair. it also blows my mind when they think multiple applications of bleach will benefit them in their pursuit of being platinum and do not think of the consequences  all that chemical processing will do to their hair. Being a licensed stylist for 30 plus years, I know how complex these processes can be and the wisdom you spread about the different products and their purposes is a benefit to all whether they are licensed professionals or not. Keep us informed and entertained!!!!!

Hajar Tarrhi: "Every good hair fail starts with sally's beauty ". Brad mondo !

fishstick: so, basically, I've wanted to split-dye my hair for soooo long. I have very dark brown hair, it's healthy and thick, never been treated or dyed before, and has little to no heat damage. what would you recommend for procedures, products, a price estimate, etc? I recently started watching your videos and got really excited, and I wanna make sure I get it right. :))

DonnaGail Stapleton: Brad You're an addiction (better than the food that's always been mine) I'm rewatching so many videos. I destroyed my hair. It's a pixie cut now, prenatals! growing like crazy I think & gladly. I watch these just to see & think & feel hair! I am so jealous of ppl w long gorgeous hair. I've never felt mine is gorgeous. But I aim to treat it entirely different when it grows. Hope it still is curly

Kereena Withill: I LOVE Brad he has such a awesome sense of humour and has saved me from this awful reality

Mint Milani: I'm a natural blonde n I used to go back n forth from a blood red color to blonde all the time. It's definitely difficult to do. I would 1st do a bleach wash then used Pravana hair color extractor to remove any left over red/pink n then dye it blonde. The pravana kit was a life changer cause it's just an intense clarifying treatment so I never had to deal with bleach-fried hair lol

Haley Bolton: honestly the first girl looked really good with the “yellow” hair. it goes nicely with her eyebrows and fair skin

Morgan Winston: I actually learn so much more about hair dying from this man and his reactions to people's mistakes.

Ashlynn Medlin: I went from red to blonde using “color oops!” I dyed my hair permanent burgundy color and found out I was going on vacation so I used it about 3 weeks after dying it and it got all the color out of my hair! I was shocked! (I’m a natural very light blonde)

Mini Penilla: I love these clips so much!! So addicting to watch! Thanks Brad I fried my hair but I got the color I want not touching it for 6 months !

Emma: My favorite part of all his videos (where he’s ripping them apart) is that EVERYONE in his vids act like professional hairstylists who know their shi and give tips and tricks (to aiding their failure) xD

Vyanna Murray: Did anyone else get anxious when she took her hands AND EYES off the wheel for like 3 minutes

Stacey Boom Boom: Brad I absolutely love you PLEASE address how irresponsible Brandi is driving while filming PLEASE

ash: I went from a cherry red to platinum within two days when I was like 16. i don’t even know how I did it, let alone how it turned out well. Im very confident that I would not be able to do that now at this point im surprised I still have hair left on my head

Lauren T: That 'Happy quarantine' hits different when it's still relevant a year later

the_furry_forrests: Brad: constantly complains about T18 Also Brad: constantly shocked it keeps working Me: not bleaching my hair but still not buying the controversial T18

Lily Spence: Can we talk about how Brandi was driving with NO HANDS ON THE WHEEL and like playing with her hair looking at the camera instead of the road???

Aliza M: Honestly thank god for brad mondo - did my first bleach round turned me from brunette on top of red to like orange/peach with yellow through it, had to trim my ends, so Today we are gonna do bleach round 2 & T14 toner and hope to the gods it works lol

Omega Skittles: Literally going to my third (professionally done) bleach session at the end of next month going from dark red to platinum blonde. I've done alot of dye jobs at home but blonde is never going to be one of them

The Golden Child: I dyed my extensions jet black and it gave them a synthetic plastic look. I used the vitamin c method and it was really effective as they were lifted back to their natural color. HOWEVER, the extensions were so dry following the treatment I couldn’t even use them if you haven’t already I’d love to see you try the vitamin c method on one of your mannequins and see how it works for you!

Myranda 🧡: I have seen the vitamin C method work well on one of my friends who had platinum hair that she would dye fun colors. Such as after pink was faded, she would do the vitamin C to fade out the rest before putting on blue, etc. I haven't seen anyone else attempt it on darker dyed hair, though.

Evelien Poets: the second girl: *showing off her hair with both hands while driving* me: wow nice.... wait a minute

Miss Kalkuliert: I went from red to blonde at home because of quarantine. It went better than I thought it would. Now I'm fully blonde again and glad it didn't turn out orange or anything

Jules Becker: Okay but like why is no one talking about Brad’s amazing, wholesome, kind, sweet, intro? Like AWWWWW yes im doing well, and haven’t gotten anyone sick. Thank you! i hope you’re doing well too! Love ur vids

Karla Trihy: I went from red like in my profile picture (it's a wig in my profile pic) to blonde in about 6 weeks. It was so stressful, I kept imagining my hair falling out in clumps. But deep conditioning masks and breaks between bleaching and we got there.... now my hair is aqua blue! Loving the blue now, and hoping I will love it forever because I dread getting back to blonde

Kristina “Christy” Marquez: I love watching this! Even though I do hair for a living. I still love seeing this. I'm addicted lol!

Princess BabyCabbage: “Every good hair fail, starts with a Sally’s beauty” That should be their slogan

dankunicornbud9: Brad: can we talk about how amazing her roots look Me: can we talk about how she’s driving and has barely looked at the road once 15:06

muskan chugh: " can we talk about the second girl's driving " um literally everybody is talking about that

Katie Gabberdeen: Okay I dunno how I missed this one and I'm only seeing it now. I managed to go from mahogany/red to Ash blonde myself in 48hrs. I bleached bathed my hair 3 times and then I applied the hair colour I did seek some professional help in making sure I was doing it correctly.

Kendall Belle: the wella powder packet bleach literally lifted the dark red out of my hair within minutes. it’s honestly the best bleach i’ve used

Vini Dubey: I love how everyone shares my anxiety on how she's driving her car

Jessie Brown: I used color remover when I decided to go from auburn back to my natural strawberry blonde and was sick of the maintenance. It worked really well but I wasn't trying to do anything past that.

Candice Chruscial: As a professional hairstylist I am blown away at this girl’s patients her investment in product and her dedication to the integrity of her hair!! 10 outa 10!!!

ℭocoa: I'm currently attempting to go back to platinum/silver... During lockdown I impulsively used a bright red dye which mostly washed out but is clinging to the midsections of my hair like nobody's business! One round of bleach down and that section is now neon orange and the top/my roots are yellowy blonde lmfao. I don't think the 20vol was enough. Gonna try bleaching the red parts one more time before toning though... Wish me luck.

Kay-Lee Strauss: I went to my hairstylist to bleach my hair, and I failed to mention that I had some red underneath. You can imagine the look on her face when she checked up on me and my hair was BRIGHT PINK I wear my hair naturally curly, bleached it twice within 2 days and still I had pink hair.... long story short, I ended up with a long pixie vibe going on that I didn't hate ‍♀️

Baylee Winkler: I just bleached my boyfriends hair, did 2 lightening sessions, & used T14. The total cost was around $25. After the 2 sessions & toner, it's fully silver & I'm so proud of how it looks. I couldn't have done it without all of your advice & knowledge Brad! Thank you

Naomi Nadhis: I'm starting to want to be a stylist just from listening to all your advise because I LOVE science stuff and artsy things, and playing with colors and peoples hair sounds awesome

Tinker Stinker: I’m a gorgeous copper, 2” from my waist. I would NEVER be brave (is that even the right word?!?) enough to bleach my hair at home! I would end up being one of those nightmare stories.

Cara N Kenny: him sitting up to see the screen like it made her move the camera made me start crying laughing

Billithekat: Hey Brad, just to say you I enjoy your videos you are so beautiful inside and out, you are an amazing person! Hope you get well through these strange times, much love from Spain <3 <3 <3

Mayflower1902: Brad: “can we talk about how amazing her roots look???” Me: uhhh can we talk about how SHE LITERALLY LETS GO OFF THE WHEEL WHILE DRIVING

cass 💕: I literally choked on my coffee seeing Brad's reaction to her hot roots!

Eva Mary Patterson: i love how brad has a different vibe with his looks in all his videos. he’s honestly so cool

Virgo Empress: Brad u just look so Lush in this vid. Your skin, the hair, the lavender shirt and chains vibe. I can't!!

Tina Campbell: Watching brad is my one greatest thing to do in my life..... I get away from all my stresses when I watch him⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kate Kong: God damn. She might as well just bleach her hair while she’s driving, too.

UnicornBlush: It took me about 2yrs to go from burgundy to lavender/pastels (silver base). Wish I would have just chopped it off instead of dragging it out so long lmfao. I am never going dark again.

Vanilla & Pepper: I’m in shock how well both turned out!

Injosugame: I recently went from blonde to red! Got curious how badly it would look if I ever wanted to go back to blond :’) But then again I wouldn’t do it myself I would go to a hair dresser

Nobody you know: In 2016 I had this bright red hair and I accidentally used a 40 developer on my hair for too long and it snapped off I had yellow fried hair for a year… I have brunette now though and it’s extremely healthy

Lucy Lawal: I love how he raised his head since she didn’t turn the camera to show all the products I think we’ve all tried to see things that aren’t on camera

Alyssa H: Lol I should’ve recorded my sister doing literal magic on my hair. I had it red and then dyed black on top and somehow she got it to a pretty decent blonde at home, and when I decided I didn’t like blonde she got my hair to a pretty ashy brown like my natural hair color and it hasn’t been dyed since. I would maybe get a blonde balayage done but I’m nervous someone will ruin my hair lol. I need someone as talented as Brad Mondo ❤️

Bev Nelson: With color fix I recommend skipping step 3, it brings your hair to a muddy color. I work at Sally's. We learn a lot!

Kimberly Brown: Can we talk about how Brandy is DRIVING while recording with both hands off the wheel??

Sabrina Dos Santos: Brad I love your videos and I'm a fellow subscriber. I watch your content for educational purposes but for some reason I could not stop laughing at your commentary on this video. XOXO

Catherine Widzins: Brad: “can we talk about how good her roots look?” Me: “Can we talk about the fact that she’s DRIVING WITH OUT HER HANDS ON THE WHEEL?!?!?! AND TALKING TO A CAMERA?!?!?!? Girl I can’t look, I feel sick.”

Balance Between Jazzy: Lmaooo sometimes I can’t tell when brad is kidding or not love it

lauren moberg: love how brad always stops the vids at the weirdest times love u brad

skernzzz: Watching this now so I'm not tempted to do it myself at home lmao. Gotta wait 4-6 weeks and then I'm gonna let the professionals handle it!

Girl Uncorked: “I can’t see. I can’t see Mandy.”

Spook Magooked: I'm certain this quarantine has actually boosted Sally Beauty's sales. Everyone's stuck inside so they're like "I'm so bored, perfect time to do something to my hair!"

Casey Vellucci: Does anyone else just want Brad to just like give you a perfect hair makeover

AbbyEvonne: I learn so much from you I do my boyfriends hair and it looks amazing because of you !

Closet.Gremlin17: 1st girl: "so I've just got some purple conditioner just shitting- sitting in my hair"

Holly: My GOD do I wish Brad was around when I went through my 4 year long phase of bleaching & dying my hair constantly in highschool. So many disasters could have been prevented lol

Amilae K: I did this summer 2019 in one DIY session, my hair survived but never again
