Trying Color Changing Hair Dye And Getting Scammed

Hey guys, it's aislen and in today's video we're going to be trying some color changing hair dye. So let me tell you a story about how this all happened, because it's kind of funny like funny but not funny. You know what i'm saying so i was on tick tock and a lot of you guys tagged me in this video of this color changing hair dye, and you wanted me to try it. I was like okay, i was a little skeptical because the company seemed super super new and they didn't really have any followers. But i was like you know what small business they're just starting out. It'S fine. So i went ahead and placed an order and i bought every color. They offer, which was four different. Color changing dies, so i purchased them and i'm waiting. I'M waiting, i'm waiting like two weeks go by. They still haven't shipped i'm like something is off here. I feel like i just got scammed, so i was like super paranoid checking. My bank account every day waiting for the scam to come and then to start draining. My bank account so i'm just waiting and finally, the order, ships and literally, like i think, a month or more went by before these hair dyes arrived at my doorstep, so they finally arrived. I opened the package, i look at the bottle and i'm like this isn't the hair dye i ordered like what's on the bottle is a total different brand name than the company i ordered from so i was very confused because this bottle is not what was pictured On the website, like that, the name of the product is totally different, so i was like very confused, but it's essentially the same product. It'S the same colors. I ordered it's still color changing hair dye like it's the same thing, but it just had a different company's name on it. So i went ahead and decided to google the company's name that is on this bottle, and i found these on aliexpress for like less than a dollar a tube when i paid a lot more than a dollar tube for these. So basically your girl got scammed. I got scammed and i will tell you the company right now, because i don't want you guys purchasing from this company when they're scamming people - okay, so this tick tock channel's name is yay color y-e-y-c-o-l-o-r. Now they have 10 000 followers and they had a couple videos that went viral with like millions of views, their instagram is yay color official. So let me pop a picture on screen of what the tube looks like on their website. So the tube says yay color on it, and the logo is different, so they're advertising this color. But then you get this color in the mail which they are not the same. I'Ll put like a picture of the color i got versus the color. They were advertising. Um, it's like the same packaging, but the logo is different, so basically they're saying that they created their own product and it's like a new product that they created and they launched, but in reality, they're purchasing in bulk from aliexpress and then upselling the color by a Bunch so these retail for 12.95 and that's on sale, originally they're 16.95, but they're selling them for about 13, when you can go on aliexpress and get them for one dollar. So, yes, i paid a lot more for this product than what i should have, but i digress anyway. Look out for that company don't buy from them. They are scamming you. We are going to try the color today. Nonetheless, so let me run through the colors. I got for you purple to pink blue to pink. I don't know this. One kind of looks like purple to coral-ish. This one is blue to like a light pink. Then they have a green to like a lime, green, yellow situation, and then they have a black to a silver okay. So here are the shade names listed on their website, blue to pink purple, to magenta black to white and green to yellow. So those are the official names i couldn't really tell from like the little circles on the die like what they were shifting to. There is not much information on these at all, literally on the bottle. It does not tell you instructions. Let me get a little close-up of the bottle for you guys, so here's what the bottle looks like. Okay, let me show you the back. There are no instructions on the back of the bottle at all, so it doesn't say how to apply it or anything like that. They have five star review on their website 27 reviews. Let me read to you the description on their website because on the bottle doesn't say how to use it. So i need to read through this real quick. It says: yay color, color, changing hair dye cream has a temperature sensitive color, changing effect that changes shades when the temperature rises or lowers 64 degrees to 68 degrees and comes in a variety of unique colorful shades. This is how it works. The color changing hair dye cream is heat activated and starts at the molecular level. Reversible bonds exist in carbon based color compounds when the heat levels rise fall or fluctuate in any way. A reaction occurs, causing the bond to revert between two different colors and even something as easy as a breeze being outside in the sun or running your fingers through your hair can change the colors okay. Let me see if these ingredients line up yo. I got so [ __ ] scammed on this on the website. It says the ingredients are argan. Oil keratin essence plant extract, settle wax, sterile alcohol essence, water, sodium lauryl, sulfate and mineral oil. Okay, on the back of the bottle that i got, these are not the same ingredients potassium per sulfate, sodium silicate, sodium mesticate, sodium per sulfate ammonium per sulfate magnesium stearate, so they are totally different than what's advertised on the website. I feel like somebody, could sue these people very easily for what they're doing that person's not going to be me, but i'm just telling you guys don't buy from this company, because they're advertising like argan oil keratin, like really good things for your hair and then this Is like a bottle of [ __ ], basically under how to use it says for best results, apply to pre-lightened, bleached hair directions after shampooing, towel dry hair and apply yay color evenly over hair dry, the a color either by air dry or blow drying, and enjoy Your amazing color changing hair. So that's what it says. So i'm just going to go ahead and apply these we're going to test them and see how well they work. I am a little bit nervous about putting these on my hair, just because i don't know what it is. Basically, i got product that i'm not sure, i'm not really sure what this is. So i'm a little nervous to put it on my hair, but we're going to try it today. I know that these are not permanent, colors they're not going to actually dye your hair, i'm pretty sure they rinse out in one use. But again, the website does not specify these things. It doesn't safe as a semi-permanent, it just says it's a cream. I think it rinses out, i'm hoping it rinses out, because i really don't want blotchy hair with like four different color changing colors all over my hair. So fingers crossed that these are just a temporary wash out fun thing to do. I'M very nervous, let's smell these, i haven't even looked at these, yet okay, they have a seal on them. So that's good. At least i know they're sealed and they're, not somebody else's returns. Oh, it smells not good, there's no fragrance, it smells like chemicals, so i'm just gon na. I guess use my finger. Oh god. I wonder if this is actually hair dye. This is what it looks like super super purple. Okay, here i go, oh god is this actual hair dye? Oh i'm so curious. If i'm actually dyeing my hair right now, because it feels just like normal hair dye, but i'm hoping it rinses out. I'M gon na need a little bit more. Oh, i see it changing pink though it's definitely changing with the heat of my head and stuff, see how purple it is. This purple is really pretty i'm just gon na. Let this sit and then apply the other colors, and then we can go ahead and like dry them in my hair, let's go in with the black to silver, this one's making me a little bit more nervous. Okay, so it just looks like silver coming out of the container, but i'm pretty sure this was supposed to be black to silver. On the front of the bottle, you can clearly see what color it starts out as and what color it turns to so like here. It says purple to pink. Well, the one i just put on says it's black to silver, but it didn't come out of the container. It'S black. It came out of the container as silver. Next, let's go in with blue to pink. I think that's what they said. It was called here is the blue. Okay. Definitely not blue this company, bro blue to pink. I'M sorry! In what dimension do you consider this blue? I don't really see this one changing as much the only one that seems to work really. Well. Is this one back here? This is not blue. Okay, whatever i'm gon na keep this i'm gon na, keep it rolling all right, we're gon na keep it going here. The last one is this one which is dark green to yellow. I have high hopes for this. One too, i feel like this one and the purple to pink will work. Well. Excuse me this is. This: is a green to yellow green, to yellow, really, really, this is green to yellow, okay, let's see wow, it's green literally. What is this company? What is this? What is this, where is my green? Where is my green? Are you kidding guys? This is unbelievable? How can people live knowing they're scamming people? So let's go over these colors again and i will show you on their website the colors they advertised are and what we got. Okay, let's go through this one more time because looking at my head right now, it does not look like. I have four different colors on my head. It looks like i have two different shades on my head. Okay, so these are the videos, they're advertising, here's this one of the green to yellow and the purple to pink. They have several videos on here of people using these mood changing colors this one was great to pink and they don't even offer that so here's a video of what they're advertising that they're getting millions of views on, and this is the reality of the situation. Okay, this one right here is supposed to be that green and yellow this one right here, you're, not seeing it wrong. This one is supposed to be green to yellow okay. This one is supposed to be black to silver, and it's just silver love that for me, okay, this one is purple to pink and it's the only one, that's accurate and it's the only one that seems to be right and working right. This one is supposed to be blue to pink and it's nothing of the sort it's getting very purple gray. Okay, let's see what these do when i put heat on them here we go okay, so it does turn to a white color highly. Do not you guys? Don'T get this don't do this, don't get these? What the hell this one! I have high hopes for. Okay, ready. Okay, this one turns pink cute, cute cute, still scammed still don't buy still suck a dick, but it worked. This one is supposed to be blue and pink. It is nothing of the sword. It is purple gray to peachy color question mark okay, this one. What is this one even supposed to be? Oh yeah, green, right, right, green. Okay, let's see what this does, because i don't even know: okay, it just turns a brighter pink. So like this one seems to be very similar to this purple, one this one's pretty cool that it changes. I mean, i think, that's pretty dope. Honestly, i want to try this, though, on my natural hair and see if it shows up, i can't believe i got scanned so badly. What have i done? What have i done all right? Let me go blow dry, this okay, i'm back and the blow dryer works. Really well at making it making like the color shift. You can see it's like neon pink now and i can see why they would want you to put it on blonde hair, because it's just a little bit more muddy in this area than it is uh like where it's super blonde. It does look a lot better here than it does here, so the instructions on the website said to apply it on hair and then let it dry and then you're good to style. It, like you, guys, saw the video i showed they all had dry hair and it was color changing. This is like a gel cream like this part of my hair is dry and i'm sorry, but there's no possible way. You would be able to do anything with your hair once you have this gel on it, like your hair becomes stiff you're, not able to like curl your hair or blow dry, your hair, because it just becomes stiff, so yeah don't buy these beware of color changing Hair dye that seems too good to be true, i'm pretty sure those videos they put in their tik tok were other people's videos that they stole and also the product they were using. I'M pretty sure is like punky color mood switch like punky color. Had this hair dye a while ago, they don't make it anymore and it was actually hair dye like actually dyed your hair and it actually changed colors. I know pravana also had a similar hair dye a while ago, but neither one of those companies make those dyes anymore or else i would try those for you, but these people are clearly ripping off other people's videos, other people's product and just profiting money, which is Disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach that people can live with themselves, knowing that they are ripping people off. They are stealing money and they are just upselling a product. That'S not even what they're advertising for like so much more money like it just puts a knot in my stomach thinking that people are capable of ripping other people off and just living, and not even caring, like people work hard for their money and you're just gon Na like steal it basically, i guess shame on me for being stupid enough to buy these things, but thankfully i'm able to afford four bottles of hair dye and i was able to test it for you guys, and hopefully it saves a lot of people in the Future from buying these, because what the hell was that i do want to see if this rinses out, though so before i go, i'm going to go wash this out and see if it comes out of my hair, because i want to make sure it comes out And it doesn't actually dye your hair because if it actually dyes my hair, we're going to have a bigger problem on our hands. So let me go wash this out real, quick and i'll be right back, and hopefully it comes out of my hair. You guys all right, i'm back, let's see yeah what happened so the water was very, very pink, so i know a lot of it came out. I just don't know if it stained my hair at all. Okay, it looks good. Oh, my god, my hair smells so bad. My hair smells like greasy mcdonald's, french fries or something gross okay. It looks like it all came out of my hair, so we're good. There um hi update it's later in the day and i am developing a like rash reaction to those dyes. So please don't get these dyes. This has been like a horrible experience. You guys can see like right here right here on my hairline like right here. I'M like developing, i don't have any foundation on by the way, so it's not like my foundation just got rubbed off because i'm not wearing any foundation, i'm not wearing concealer, like literally i only have like blush and like bronzer on. I don't have any foundation. So all of this up here is like an allergic reaction. That'S happening it's just developed like i stopped filming, maybe like 30 minutes to an hour ago, i looked in the mirror and i saw these reactions that are happening. I don't know they almost look like um like birthmarks and like strawberry, porta wine, birthmark type things but they're not. This is where the dye touched my skin, and now it is irritated - and i don't know what is going on here - i'm a little concerned about it. I don't see it anywhere else, because i thankfully didn't really put it on my roots, because i have so much grow out, but you can see where i'm having a reaction so definitely definitely don't buy these products. I'M hoping that this reaction does not get worse and i don't have to take benadryl or go to the doctor or anything like that, i'm hoping it just like calms down.
