Hey YouTube fam, It's your girl, Lia back again with another video and today's video, as you can see from the title I'm gon na, be talking about the most frequently asked questions that you guys have asked me regarding this crocheted in human hair, install that I have. Now, typically, what I do is I'll compile the questions that you guys ask me and I'll address them in my review video, but I'm getting so many questions from you guys on Instagram on YouTube, Tik Tok, on every platform, where I've talked about this, that I needed To compile it in one centralized location or else that review video would be over an hour long.. So I have the review video where I'm gon na do like. I normally do the first day the first week and the final thoughts, but a lot of people also like when is the review. When is the review coming out and they're completely forgetting how my videos work. they're, completely forgetting that I wear the hair.? It'S like real life, where I'm wearing the hair. So for weeks upon weeks, I'm wearing the hair and the final thoughts are filmed on the final day and if it isn't the final day. Yet the review is not coming out and I don't plan on taking this hair out for a while.. I don't have a hard date in mind where I know I'm gon na take this hair out, but it's human hair, I'm gon na get my wear's worth., So it could be a couple months of me wearing this hair.. So I guess this video is kind of to hold you guys over in terms of those questions, and I'm still going to do my normal review video as well.. So I've grabbed all the questions that you guys asked me here and then I didn't know the video was gon na go so viral on Tik Tok. But you guys have asked me a lot of questions there and it's hard to address uh responses to those questions. In a bite-sized Little Nugget., I'm not the best tik toker, because I love my long form content over here on YouTube. That'S why I've been here so long. Short form is harder to answer your question.. So I'm going to answer them on here as well, but backing up a bit., The collaboration. I did Rashea the owner of Unwrapped Beauty here in the Charlotte area. She's located in Gastonia, but it's just a short drive to Gaston County.. She collaborated with me on the review of the hair., So she has this hair that she sells on her site and she was like hey you're local to the area and you do crochet hair reviews.. Do you mind, in exchange for me doing your hair, doing a review for my hair and I was like absolutely., So the collaboration between the two of us was on the hair itself.. It really wasn't about the install itself.. It was mainly about her commissioning me to do a review on the hair.. I'Ve gotten a lot of questions, though, about the install itself., So the install which I didn't do you saw another person, did it. I've gotten a lot of questions.. So I can tell you what I know at a high level from the install.. So Rashea took the class uh, So Nia Natural hair, a name that you guys are familiar with on this channel, because the crochet hair world is so small. It feels like., She offers a class and she has for. It seems like at least the last two years in person or online on how to install human hair crochet.. It'S a paid course, of course, that Rashea paid to take on learning the method of installing crochet hair., Bundled crochet hair when I say bundle it. I said it on the weft in my install video, I said bundled a couple times in that hair too. And I think people were still confused because they thought she cut it off the weft, but you guys know wefted hair.. This is a weft.. These are bundles.. She installed the hair completely completely on the weft.. She never at any point front back side. None of that did she cut it off the weft.. When she took this class she signed an agreement. I will not show others your technique because you taught me.. So when you take a class like this, you can't go somewhere else and say ha ha ha, I'm going to teach it for free on YouTube., So Rashea signed that agreement with Nia. To take her course, understanding that Rashea, in essence, can't show her doing the technique to other people for free on the internet., And she was like when you film it. If you want to film the install., Because I didn't have to film The install., It really was about the review.. I just filmed the install because I wanted to put a vlog up.. So it's filming the install a lot of people were like. I can't see what she's doing. It would be nice if somebody was like it'd be nice. If you could show exactly what she's doing., I couldn't show exactly what she was doing, because again she took a class.. If you want to learn the technique of installing hair um, bundles and nia natural hair offers the course., I got a few comments for people that were like it's on the internet. People can Google it., I'm sure they can. Google it., I Googled it and I found a couple videos about bundled hair, neither of which was the technique that is in my hair. Again, I didn't see the full technique. I was sitting as you saw the Vlog. Looking ahead, I was looking here to the side.. I wasn't back there., I wasn't back there seeing what she was doing., But I know from watching their videos. The mechanisms were not at all similar., And somebody asked me well if it is bundled hair, how is it not a sew-in and it's not a sew-in, because it's crocheted in., She used the crochet needle the entire time of the install.. Crocheting is more of a technique and a mechanism than it is a hair.. So I feel like in my videos a lot of times. I say: crochet hair., I say crochet hair.. I say crochet hair., But you guys know all the hair that I utilize can be used in other things. Too. Some can be used for box braids passion.. I know water wave., A lot of people use water wave for passion, twists., So the freetress water wave or any kind of water wave hair. I tried, doesn't have to be crocheted in., It can be braided in., It can be micro braids., It can be invisible.. Even if you look at the package of the freetress deep twist the model on the package of the freetress deep twist, I think she has like micro, braids or something like that on the packaging.. It just can also be used for crocheted in.. So crocheting is a technique and the hair can be bundles apparently.. This was news to me, as well. Saw it on the Facebook. I feel like somebody was like eventually, it'll get out. It'll eventually get out.. I guess it will.. Everything eventually will get out, but that does not negate the fact that some people are still going to want to take courses to learn something. My stylist Toni, who does my silk presses on Monday? She doesn't do client work. She only teaches.. She teaches other stylists how to do silk presses, but at the same time YouTube has several tons of tons of silk press how-to videos.. Why don't they just watch those how-to videos.? Some people want to learn a technique from a professional in a professional setting and there's nothing wrong with that.. So if it ever gets on the internet again not from me, but somebody else do something and put this exact technique on the internet. That'S on them, but there's never going to be a time when somebody isn't going to want to take a technique class from a actual stylist. There's a ton of how to change oil videos here on YouTube, but that doesn't mean I'm gon na stop taking my car To the shop. Now in terms of knowing the technique, because I got a lot of questions that we were like well, if we get the bundles if we buy the bundled hair, because the hair I held up, this isn't the hair I have in my head. This is just some bundles that I just happen to have, but if we buy the bundles like, if we do that, then we just have Bundle Hair. What do we do with it? Are we gon na get it sewn in? Are we gon na get it crocheted? Is there other stylists who know Nia's technique and so that question? Yes, there are other stylists. I will list a few that I know below, but I don't know everybody so on Tick, Tock I've been getting a lot of questions name. Somebody in Cincinnati, Ohio, Atlanta, Georgia. I'M not like the white pages of crochet hair stylists who know this technique. I just was collaborating on the hair, so I don't know every stylist who knows this technique off the back of my head. I know Nia knows it so if you're in the DMV, you have Nia the actual person who taught my stylist, you have her. I think you can just hashtag look on Instagram or even Tick, Tock, to a certain extent, human hair, crochet installs and, like The Stylist Pages, just kind of flow it in so that hashtag really helps to Define like people who know how to do do this technique And do it well so just hashtag human hair, crochet install and then whatever City you're living in right now watching me, Vegas Oklahoma, City, Nebraska, somewhere and La San Francisco, like the status of your city. Hopefully there's one nearby but Rashia. She does other styles. She doesn't just do human hair crochet. She does not lifts a lot. She does regular crochet, install seamless, crochet, hair installs with like regular synthetic hair, but this is a new technique that she's testing out, and this is a new hair that she's testing out. So another question I got was to see the braid, so somebody wanted me to lean up and really get up in camera. So that's what I'm gon na try to do so you can kind of see. Oh I'm gon na get really close, so you guys can see the braid because she was like she was being cognizant of. Knowing that I can't I can't share the technique, but this person, I believe she acts on Instagram I'll, put her comment, but right now she's like I know you can't share the technique, but can you show us like inside the head of the braid, and I was Like absolutely so this this is it and then I'm gon na part um. I wear a left side part, but you could part on any side. So this is the middle um and then this is this side, so I'm getting as close as I can in there, because I guess people want to see if you can see the weft, which is an honest question. I guess to see if you can see the weft um. If I like dig in there, I can feel I can feel the weft though, but I can't you can't see it externally. So there we go and then on this one this one, but I'm hopeful. That was helpful to see kind of how it looks it's very much so I could part it on any side that I want to. If I wanted to wear it like this, I could wear it like that. Oh, if you also want to see the front too how the front Falls um, none of my hair is left out. As you know, if it was left out, then my hair would be a different color, because you know my hair is this. Is my hair and natural state? So if this was my hair left out, my hair would not be this color, so zero percent of my hair was left out. You guys saw the braid pattern in that video. So again, you also saw that none of my hair is left out. The hair itself isn't reusable. Somebody asks well if it's wefted hair, so she cut nothing off the weft. So everything that's in the Beehive section, so everything that's in the back. I can reuse so 70 of the hair is reusable because all I have to do is pull it off and that hair is reusable. However, the front pieces are cut to size for the braids, so the front of my hair. You saw how long the front little braids are. Everything is cut, so here's a weft so what she did was like. She put the weft up against my hair. The braid itself see how long it is and then cut the weft like. If this is how long the braid is cut here, cut here and install this length so hard to reuse a weft - that's this like this big over again. So that's why it's not reusable on that section, but the back is installed the full kind of way kind of layered on that way throughout, and so that's why the back fully reusable front. It'S just to cut to size to fit the front braids. So it's like this long of a weft right here, but it's not cut off the weft, so I have to re-emphasize that because some people click the link in my my last install look like Leah is taking me to bundles I'm confused. It is bundles. It'S bundles! I'Ve said it once I'll say it again: it's bundled hair now in terms of length, so in my hair she used an 18 inch bundle. A 18 inch bundle and a 20 inch bundle. So I have 18, 18 and 20 in terms of length. The hair itself is Burmese. Wavy is the texture title of it and online. I think she has on her site. She says it's a 3B 3C. I really think it's more that 3B, because I'm 3C in my own natural hair, my hair, is a little bit a little bit tighter. So I really would put this in a 3B category in terms of hair. She told me that, with these types of installs, not all wefted hair would work, so this hair would not work for this. It has to be a kinkier texture, hair, so probably a 3B 3C, 4A 4B type of a texture. So far. This is the only hair that she has. This is what the hair she's testing right now. This would never work for this technique because for the kind of look of it for everything she said it needs to be a more kinkier texture hair. I can't remember what type of hair this is. It has been seven years since I purchased this hair, no, probably even eight years. I'Ve had this hair for a long time, but this is definitely that straighter texture to a type of a hair which would not work at all for this technique. I got a comment that said I was always told human hair wouldn't work and you know I've made videos being very skeptical of human hair. Don'T get it twisted. Y'All know. I made a couple videos on here, so I'm not a hypocrite in the sense that I said what I said, and I meant what I said back in those days about human hair, but it wasn't this technique. It was why human hair wouldn't work. If you cut it like, if you cut this off the weft and installed it it went to me, it still won't work. This hair right here, ain't gon na be crocheted in. However, this wefted bundle technique it's a little different and it so far it's only been four weeks only been, but it's been four weeks last week I filmed and it should be up already my styling of this hair video. I did get a comment that said: hey: can the hair be straightened or can he be put to it? It is a hundred percent human hair. So it's bundled it's human. It'S not synthetic in the least bit. It'S not a human hair blend. It'S not a anything! This is hair, just like I think this hair, you know from somebody's scalp um, so you know it's human hair from another human um. So, yes, it can be straightened just like your own. Human hair can be straight, and your own human hair can do all this. This is the hair in this natural stay, a little bit wet it's in the process of drying. If you saw in that video, you know what my routine is in that video you saw. I did the spray bottle brush brush brush. That type of thing. That'S what I did this morning, it's just in this drying phase right now, can you buy the hair? Yes, I linked Down Below in that last video, my install video and again I'll link it in this video again. It'S bundles, though, so I think when I linked it the first time there might have been some confusion um, but yes, I I will link it down below. You don't have to find somebody who knows this method. I mean, if you like it for a sew-in, then that's fine too. I'M way out of the sewing game. It has been years since I got a sew-in and I used to do leave out with my sew-ins. I never did anything but leave out because it always looked unnatural um. In my opinion, unless you got like a closure and closure still have the like, you know the little window pane like you can kind of see it um. So I was always a more leave out person why? I think I like this over the partial sew-ins I used to do is that not a drop of my hair is left out, but my hairline still looks realistic, so you know, for example, like I could part on anyway. My hair is getting the breath it needs. I could do like this. I can do like that in my other video. I won't do it right now, but I'll show you you can pull it up into a ponytail um. Well, maybe I'll do it right now, um! I don't know how bad or good that looks so I might just have to insert the clip from last week when I filmed that video, but you can put it up it's just a little bit more. I don't know versatility in my opinion than a sew-in and having to do a sew-in with a closure or frontal of those types of things where you know it doesn't look realistic. I think at least with this I'm looking like. Is it my hair? Is it my hair? I don't know, but if you wanted, you know to buy the bundles. I think these would be incredible like this was the type of hair I used to always use when I did sew-ins back in my sew-in days, which you know it's the normal. I guess European Standard, or you know Asian American Standard of like Cambodian or Malaysian type hair, but if I were to ever go back to my sewing days, this would be the type of hair that I would use for my sew-in, because you guys saw when I Straightened into that video, when I curled it it has a more realistic look than the. I guess I don't know this, this type of hair, which no shade I used to love that type of hair child. I was living it up back in them days. Removal so Maddie said you plan on doing a removable video. I don't plan on doing a removal video only because I don't plan on removing it. No, I I know I could. I know I could and The Stylist told me yeah you you're a pro. You can remove it um. I took out the last hair that I installed and I cut a braid, so you saw the intro of my Vlog where I go get this done. I talk about how I just the night before cut a braid, and I installed that Ziggy curl hair, I'm the one who installed the last hair and I cut a braid, I'm not about to take this hair out and I didn't even install it and risk cutting The braid now I think, everything's sewn down really good. I don't think I should have any problems, but just to take it no chances. I'M gon na get my mama to take this hair down. I sure am, I sure, am but um she does go through removal. I think she puts a little piece of thread in the back, so you know where to start your removal um. She does that for everybody. I don't think she did it for me because she said you're a pro. You know how to do this, but for my beginner type I put a little piece of thread, so they um know where to start their takedown process, and I was like okay just being scarred the fact that I cut like 60 of a whole braid off. Maybe maybe 60 to 40 percent, I'm missing a whole piece of my hair um. You know, I love the braid down. The braid down is beautiful. I got a comment that said: the braid down itself is his own style and yes, it is. I would love to learn how to do that one day, but it's beyond me. It'S above me at this point, it's levels above me at this point, so I love the braid down itself. Trust the process of the take down. However, um just to be safe just to be safe, I don't plan on doing it now. The most frequently Asked question you guys are probably waiting for. This is the price and the cost of all of this, and I got a question on my Tick Tock. That was like, and I answered it on Tick Tock, but I didn't I'm answering it in this video right now, for you would you pay for it to be installed again now again being a collaboration? I didn't pay the first time it was an exchange of YouTube. Video and we get this hair situation started, so what I pay for in general, though, and I responded back to that - definitely more of special occasions - I could say definitely doing this for a special occasion or like a month like this, where September - and I have a Lot of work things going on um, you saw even in that video. Where that question was asked. I was in a hotel room because I was going for work, I'm going somewhere for work this week, I'm going somewhere for work next week. I'M on the go so September is a busy season for me and you guys know. I always try to pick the most low maintenance hair for my septembers when it's a season like this. Yes, I would 100. However, any other time I, as I told this person in this comment, I have a crochet hair review Channel. Let'S not forget that where I install hair over and over and over and over again over and over and over again, so I know how to do my own hair and being the Cheapo Cheapo Cheapo that I am what I continuously pay for this when it's hundreds Of dollars it's hundreds of dollars, that's the cost. The cost is hundreds of dollars, and then, on top of that, you have to think about the price increasing, depending on the length of hair that you get so in her current bundle. She includes. You know the hair stuff, so she provides the hair which bundled hair is pretty costly too we're talking about over a hundred dollars in hair on that and then the install the price of the total will go up depending on the length of hair, so she has 18, she has a 20. She has a 22. You can get longer than this. You can get 24.. I think she said she goes all the way down to 26. You get a 26 26 and 24. The price is going to vary. So that's why I said I linked her booking information down below, so you guys can check it out, so you guys can understand the totality but she's in Charlotte and again like I said there are other stylists who know this. I don't know if everybody charges the same in terms of pricing. This is only relevant if you live in the Charlotte area and you you know, plan on going to her there's other stylists, so this technique as a whole. My thoughts and opinions on this technique for pricing for me definitely going to be a special occasions thing because I I don't even go to Tony, but twice a year. You see, I only get a silk press twice a year, so we're talking in total what I pay to get my hair done a year. We'Re talking about maybe two hundred dollars, we're talking 20 365 days, maybe 250 Tony charges a good little penny for a soap press. I ain't gon na cap. Anyone cap these still presses. They ain't fifty dollars no more, but I don't mind paying the price that I pay her because I know I'm only doing it twice a year. I ain't doing this every week. I don't know how her monthly is getting in I'm trying to understand what they do for a living, but for me I had somebody who pays less than three hundred dollars annually in external Hair Care fees. It'S hard for me to uh. You know, spend money hold my card over. You know swipe that little card to pay for things, so I think you're asking more of an opinion. Question um. Do I think it's worth it? It'S going to be worth it depending on who you are as a person. I said this in my solo travel video that I posted the other day. Somebody was like you know, that's a lot of money to be paying for a balcony room, you could get interior and you could be paying a lot cheaper. I could get an interior pay. A lot cheaper, but I could get a balcony and I could have a balcony. It'S going to be personal preference. There'S going to be people who say interior me up for the price they're going to be people who say I want to pay that extra and I get a balcony if we're putting this down the luxury category, like a micro links, tape in type of a situation. The price is the comparable to that. However, I think what's happening is - and I got this comment - crochet hair, it's supposed to be cheap. Somebody commented on that when the price was discussed in the comments of my video somebody was like when did that time when crochet hair was cheap, I say it still is her regular pair prices for her regular installs are regular price. I say comparable to what I've seen online, like her prices for regular crochet install are not ridiculous, they're normal prices. I think this. What people are not understanding is a different category. It'S not at the same category her prices for, if you're gon na get you know some freetress deep twists. Some freetress Yaki Bounce from all of these hairs, you're paying a regular price. If you're getting this human hair, you need to start thinking about it as a luxury hairstyle. So that's that's the difference. I'Ll say which sometimes you want luxury in your life and sometimes you won't regulate your life, the synthetic ain't. Never did you go wrong nine times out of ten, I'm gon na choose a synthetic, but then there are those one times where this is good too, and there's nothing wrong with wanting that. So for me, what's a year once a year, begrudgingly turn that debit on over and then you know swipe that card um. However, a habitual every couple months thing it ain't in my budget trying to buy a house soon. You guys know I'm still trying to save up for that house. I think the Market's gon na do something good next year and I'm feeling optimistic about that. So I got ta be more cautious with my coin. Cautious, with my coin. That'S what we'll say, but overall we'll see what the return on investment, because again it's been four weeks. If this layer lasts me eight weeks - and it still looks good at the eight week Mark and nine weeks, my opinion on price versus worth it might actually change. I might actually be like this is a hundred percent, something I would do all the time just for the lack of Maintenance that I've had to do and I'm gon na get more into the normal Spiel that I do in my first week. Final thoughts and all of that in my actual review video, so I'm gon na get some questions about maintenance and all of that, but that's the point of my review. Videos is to go through maintenance. It'S to go through water friendly is to go through activewear friendly. This in no way was a review. It was just to get out of the way the frequently asked questions, so everything that's normally covered in my review will be covered in that review. Video, I just again hitting so many questions the same questions and wanted to address them. But if you want to stay tuned, locked in and catch that video, my review, video, which again might be a little while because I'm still wearing hair, make sure you're subscribed and have that Bell on so you're notified. As soon as I upload that video and make sure you're following me on Instagram at lilavon89, so you can keep up with my Shenanigans in real time and even Tick Tock, because I've answered some of you guys's questions in real time over there on Tick Tock, because It'S just it's a three second video, where this is a whole production and I'll see you in my next video. Thank you so much for watching bye whenever

Missy Grando: Not us trying to be all upside your head to see the braids. This is a fire technique and as much as I love a good sew in, I am so intrigued by this. No glue, easy on the edges and so natural. Those bundles were gorgeous too and not your basic bundle hair.

Mizz Peach: I want to say i love me some Lia Lavon! I can always count on you to keep it a hunnit! As a girl who does my own crochet all the time and silk press twice per year as well I felt this. The install is A1 the braid technique the hair just amazing. Also I’ve cut a braid TWICE!!! Ugh! Always when I’m tired and rushing m. Smh

Juel Clyne: Lia, thanks for taking the time to answer all those questions. Thankfully I live in the area where NiaNatural. I plan on doing some nomad traveling so would def consider installing this hair for that. Will look forward to your final thoughts.

Michele Wilson: Thanks for the information! The hair looks great and long lasting, too! May need to find someone in my area who can do that technique. Would be great for me during winter months. Buuut...depends on cost. I couldn’t justify paying over $150 when I do a decent job myself.

Sylvie On The Go: There is nothing wrong with having a luxury hairstyle when you got it.

kdguillo: It is gorgeous hair! Of course, you're already beautiful with your natural curls.

Brandy Long: She did an amazing job!!

Tamica Lawson: You should have posted the install 6 weeks after install! This way we wouldn’t have to wait so long! Girl you got us salivating for that review video! ❤❤❤❤❤

Dante Velasquez: You actually can use loose human hair for crochet but you must use an adhesive (keratin sticks, hot glue and nail glue work for this), and you can even do it with invisible knots. Any texture can be used with this method and then the hair can be cut close to where the adhesive is to take it out and it can be re-used, though it would be a few inches shorter every time. I've even seen people do it with knots and no adhesive but I'm not sure the knots would stay. One would be surprised at all that can be done with hair and hair extensions both human and synthetic. There is so much creativity and ingenuity out there, especially in the black hair community

Oshea Jackson: You hair looks so beautiful, she did a great job installing. It looks great on you.

Betty Pearson: I love it❤. Looks fabulous on you.

Lesley Stone: Hair looks great! My biggest concerns are cleansing my hair under the crochet. I get a lot of scalp buildup. Also is it ok to have shed hair up to 8 weeks with no combing.

Gill Perry: ‍♀️Thanks for this Lia. ❤️❤️ Hugs for Winnie

Tiripsroirraw: 1:15 mark, I know that's right. Don't rush to take it out, it looks great !

Melanin Sisters Chicago: Thanks for this Lia! I know this is not a review video but would you swim with this or recommend it? I want this for a birthday trip but I’m gonna be in some water!!!

Terri Sargent: Wait did I see a price of $700 even near that price, nawwww I'll keep buying synthetic and I keep my peas in my pocket because I do my own hair. Put on a good movie and I'm out the house with a bomb hairstyle, but that's me, someone who wants to pay, more power to ya. I have mixed human hair with synthetic but that's even a treat. Same as I stopped buying $300, $400 wigs, black hair for me is way too much and no one can tell me why.

Living BeauTIFFully: I have an appointment with Nia Natural Hair next week for this ( birthday hair) and I can’t wait.

clarice henry: I Love it!!

Ronic M West: I cut part of a braid the other day too. Lol. So I understand. I haven't done it in years. I was taking down some old-school, different types of faux locks I installed. The front of your hair reminds me of when I put in a weave and want to hide my wefts. I crochet around my part and front to camouflage them. When. I use to do sew ins way back in the day yes on the price but I'm not spending that much any longer. Now I may get some Ronnie locs installed and that maybe a splurge for me but I must keep in at least 2 months.

chanel joop: Oh gosh I love it.. "I'm not the white pages of crochet hair stylist".....

Louisiana2Texas: Hello. Your hair is gorgeous . Where do we sign up for her class visa zoom?
