Hey guys, today's video will be a wig install i'll, be showing y'all how i installed this beautiful wig with these beautiful baby hairs. This wig is from wiggins hair. All the details to this hair will be down below y'all, so i really want y'all to check out this hair and go shop because we can tell y'all they jump. I love this wig. I love the lace like look at that. Look at that. Look at that and the curls yes, okay! Thank you so much wiggins hair for sending me over this hair because i love it so so so much. This is their body wave wig and it definitely holds curls because look at these curls - and i curled this hair like hours ago guys and the curls are still holding on the hair - is beautiful. Like super super soft, no shedding whatsoever, not bleached whale - and i love love this wig - all the deets will be down below so check it out and please purchase this hair from wiggins hair. Now, let's get into the video, so you guys can see how i installed this beautiful wig. So of course, in packaging, you get your box and you get your goodies inside. They sent me these lashes, a silk head, wrap a elastic band and a wig cap. Not one but two and a cute wig bag. These always come in handy and, of course, the main prize here. Your wig. This is their hd lace, 22 inch. I got the cap size large and this wig is 180 density and just look at this wig. Okay, look at the lace, look how thin it is and pretty look at the parting space you get, and this was the wig out the packaging, guys hey guys so um. This is a big no-no. Yeah. I love your natural, but today we're going for more of a batty look, so i just have my hair slipped back in this little bun. I usually do cornrows, but not today, i'm just going to go ahead and start on my ball cap, which is very simple, and this is going to be a very detailed video, so i will be giving y'all all my tips and tricks and do's and don'ts in This video, so i take a nude cap - that's lighter than my skin tone. That'S always the trick never go darker than your skin tone. That'S just what i prefer and i always get a better install that way, and i like to cut holes of course, because this helps the glue get more getting more into your skin. If that makes sense, the glue can't really touch your skin, how it needs to, if you don't cut those ear holes out, so make sure you do that and what you do to one side you do to the other, i'm taking some lace glue. This is my list glue that i sell um. A good alternative that i like to use is boho, because i don't have any more of this waistcoat in stock. I probably won't be selling anymore. I don't know but yeah boho and my legs glue is the only glue i use and i take a popsicle stick just to spread that glue out. I don't like to use my finger because i don't like to glue on my finger and i used to use like a edge brush but yeah. I like the popsicle sticks because they're disposable use one throw it away. You don't have to worry about like the gluey mess, none of that stuff. So after about 10 minutes letting me sit and dry clear, i go in with my cream foundation. Usually i use a cream foundation, but today it just was not giving. I don't. I don't know what was wrong, i guess because it was running out, but today just wasn't a good day. So i'm gon na go in with some foundation some liquid foundation for the first time ever and it was very, very wet, but it got the job done. So yeah, it still came out great, and i got that color that i need, and you want your cap to match your skin tone as close as possible. Your cap is really really really important when doing your wig. You don't just want to slap your cap on like really take your time, because this is the foundation for your wig. If your cap is wet, your whole install is wack if your cap is bomb, your whole install is bomb so really really really take your time on your cap. Don'T be lazy with your cap now, i'm just gon na cut those ear tabs off and all the excess cap. I like to put my makeup on before i cut it off, because there's a little blue there's, always a little glue still like wet, and if you cut it. First then, put your makeup on the makeup is going to be stuck to the glue and then it's going to show through your wig and it's going to be a hotness trust me like from experience, and i like to use little scissors. So i can cut as close to my hairline as possible, where that glue starts, because you don't want any excess cap, because this will show through your lace. This will show through your legs. That'S why i say your cap is like so important. Here'S the wig. I already customized it off camera, like always, if you guys would like an in-depth bleaching knots and plucking tutorial. I can definitely do that. But yes, i like to prep my wig before i put it on and you guys see the body and the shine in this wig like, oh, my god, look at his hair. I love wigan's hair. I'Ve worked with them multiple times and every time it's always been a hit. So i really really really recommend this company now, i'm just putting the wig on sizing it to see. If i need to make those adjustable straps in the back of the wig tighter or not, and i'm just trying to see where i want my wig to you - know sit on my head. Also i'm seeing where i need to cut those ear tabs off, because you don't want your frontal or lace to pass your ears. I don't that's my preference and i think it looks way better when you actually cut those ear tabs off. You see how it's hanging past my ear like no that's a big no-no, so cut those ear tabs off. Take your time put your hair back in the ponytail, so you can really see what you're doing and don't be afraid to cut like, don't be afraid to cut, don't be afraid to cut hair, don't be afraid to cut the cap on the wig. Like don't be afraid to cut, you got to get it right and comfortable, especially since we're still in a pandemic, we have to wear masks if your lace is covering your ear, your wig is covering your ear. How are you going to be able to wear your mask so yeah just get it to where it feels comfortable and perfect for me and what i do to one side. Of course i do to the other side. Now i'm going in with a little bit of glue a little bit of glue, because this is only my first layer to you know, help my cap melt more into my skin because, like i said earlier, you don't want that cap to show you don't want your Cat to show, through your wig, so i'm just using a tiny bit to glue just to get my cap to melt more to my skin, and you really really really want to press into that glue like press that popsicle stick or whatever you use into your cap And glue so it can really melt into your skin. You want this cap to look like it's coming out of your scalp. Like your skin, you want it, you don't want to be able to tell the difference. You don't want to be able to tell the difference. So after that dries i go in with a thick layer of blue. I use three layers. I did cut that out. You didn't see me do all three in the video, but i do three layers and i just spread it and you want to let it dry clear before you do each layer just spread it out, so it can be thin and even all around the head. Now that that's dry, i'm going to place my lace into my glue and key tip. You want to put your lace just a bit in front of the glue. Like you see where that hairline starts, you want to put that a bit in front of the glue, because, if you put it too far back you're going to have a mess. But if you put it too far up, you can always fix whatever didn't get laid or touched by the glue. If that makes sense, whatever lace didn't touch the glue, you can put more glue there, but if you lay your lace down like behind the glue you're, just gon na have a mess and you're gon na have a dark, hairline and you're gon na get like stuff. All stuck to your head, like i'm, telling you all things that i've experienced myself with installing wigs all the time. So yes, yes, yes, yes, please trust me and listen to me on this. Put your wig like in front of your glute. You want to take a comb and just rake it like break it through, because you really want to melt the lace into the glue, and you just do that around your whole head make sure that hairline is really really melted into the glue. Now i'm taking an elastic band, this is a necessity. I can't stress it enough a necessity when you're doing wigan sauce. I got this elastic band from amazon. You can get it from like walmart michael's crafting store. I definitely recommend amazon, especially with amazon prime. But yes, this elastic band really really melts the lace into your skin, like you'll, definitely definitely see a tremendous tremendous difference when you start using an elastic band. So, if you don't make sure you do and i'm just hot comb, my hairline back, because i love a sleek hairline y'all y'all finna, see what i mean by that melts. Look at that milk, milk, milk, milk just wait until we cut the lace! Okay! That'S that's! In a bit, i'm gon na get into that, but honey. The lesson in light makes a complete freaking difference in your install. Please use it it's 20 22., if you're, not using unless the man, why you installing your wheels girl? What are you doing so now? I'M just cutting these hairs shorter so that they aren't so much in the way i'm going to clip them back so that i can actually get to my lace to cut it, and i like to use small scissors over a razor razors tend to like cut me And it's just too jagged of a cut when i use a razor, i don't know so. I like to use a small pair of scissors when i'm cutting my hairline and you don't want to cut a straight line. You want to go kind of like zigzag, but not too zigzag. It honestly takes practice, but if you're a visual learner congrats because i'll be showing you exactly how i cut in this video - and you want to cut as close to your like hairline, it's possible. It'S close to where the glue is because you want as little lace as possible like cut that lace off, don't be afraid to cut the hair. Like don't be afraid, you don't want lace on your wig. You want to cut as much lace off as you possibly can, and you see me going in like a zigzag motion. Yeah, don't worry about the white cast, don't worry about it, lifting all of that we will fix later and i'll. Show you guys how to fix that? It'S so simple, so easy! This is actually what you want. This is how you know you did it correctly if you have like lace, that needs to be glued down like that, like it's lifting you did it correct, because you didn't put your wig too far back and you don't have glue sticking out of your wig now. This is what i was mentioning earlier about how you fix that, like lace, that's sticking up! You just want to take the end of a rat tail comb and put a little bit of glue there. You want to do, however, many layers you did originally like. If you did three layers, you want to put three layers under as well, but i don't wear my wigs long, so i just do one layer and i let it dry and i just press it down and melt it and it be stuck there. I told y'all. I was going to teach y'all how to fix everything. This is how you fix that white cast the same brush that you used earlier to apply your makeup to your cap. It'S the same brush that you want to use to just put a little bit of makeup on your lace. You can use lace tint, you can use lace mousse, you can use powder foundation whatever you like cream foundation, whatever you like, i do not recommend using like liquid foundation like putting more liquid foundation on the brush, then dabbing it on there. I do not recommend that it all whatsoever. You want to use the makeup that you previously had on the brush, like don't apply more makeup to the brush, if you're using a liquid foundation and the step you guys just seen, i just put some lace spray on my hairline just to give that extra extra Extra melt and i put an elastic band on there and i let it sit for about 15 minutes and when i took it off baby. Look at that melt. Look at that milk! You can't tell me this is coming out of my scalp and if you follow these steps, baby you'll be in the same position: okay, scalp! Now i'm taking a noxzema wipe. You can use alcohol whatever you like witch hazel and just cleaning that glue up, because the spray i use, that is a spray adhesive is glue. So something got on my forehead. It dried up. You just want to clean that up, because you want a clean, install. No messy installs over here, no messy installs, all 20 22.. You want clean and neat okay. Now, i'm just combing out my baby hairs and i'm taking a razor and making them shorter. These are the same hairs that i pre-made earlier that i clipped back and you just want to take a razor. I like to use a razor over scissors, because scissors give you that straight cut. Razors, give you a jacket cut and to get natural kind of looking baby hairs, the best looking baby hairs. You want to use a razor, and then you take a little flat iron and just curl i like to use a way smaller flat iron than this. This is actually too big, but i can't find my tiny one, but it got the job done and i like to curl under some people curl like up, but i mean my edges are going down so just like. Why would i curl up you know but yeah? I curl going down and you want to go slowly because you want it to really curl after i've curled my baby hair, i like to get some hairspray and just swoop my baby hairs in like a c motion today we did like a fluffy baby hair. Look. You know not too nothing, nothing too crazy. We did like a fluffy, dramatic, baby hair look, and i also like to go over with a hair. Gel i'll use got to be in the black bottle or eco styler gel, and i just put that over my edges. Just to seal it a bit more after i used hairspray with baby hairs, it takes time it takes time to master. Usually i use just mousse and it's so much easier guys. A little bit of foam goes a long way, but i ran out so i had to work with what i had, but it got the job done do now that we're done installing. It is time to style this hair, and i just want to show you guys how beautiful and cool this hair is not stiff. It is full. I love this hair. I can't stress it enough, so i decided to do some curls today and i'm just taking my curling iron. I don't know the name of this curling liner. I got it from the goosebumps store years ago. It'S a very horrible curl liner. Actually, it's cheap. It sucks. So i would not recommend it and i'm just going to curl curl curl my whole head after my whole head was curled. I decided to take those curls out and i'm really happy with the way that these curls came out. They came out super cute you're. Just going to take them out no special way i'll take mine out, i just take them out and look at that. Look at the body. Look at this shine like yes, yes, yes, yes, ma'am! Now it's time to comb the curls out and look at that. I love this part when you comb the curls out and just play with the hair, get it how you want it. I love it like i love, i love love, love this part, and here are the finished results. Don'T you guys see how beautiful these curls are and how just beautiful this hair is all the details will be down below make sure you guys shop with wigan's hair. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed be sure to like comment and subscribe thanks. So much for watching
