Very Natural Hairline | Kinky Straight Wig Install With Crystal Lace | Ft. Genius Wigs

Hi guys, my name is Thursday new here and in today's video I'm going to be showing you all about this gorgeous install that I have on my hair from genius. Wigs the hair came in this package FedEx package, as you guys can see, and I'm just going to remove it. He came with this regular genius wig box. This hair is quite different from all the hairs that I've ever installed on my channel and I'm going to be showing you why. The first thing that I see in the package was that little notes from the company. The next up is the wig itself. It comes in a blue back sky, blue bag, then some freebies, the satin scarf, and also this toothbrush edges brush or Edge brush and an elastic band just in case you want elastic and a stocking cap after that, we're just going to unbox the wig itself. All the details will be in the description box below please check it out. This is just 18 inches Crystal lace, kinky straight wig. However, this is very unique because the hairline is extremely different from anything I've ever worked with. As you guys can see, the hair is kinky straight, but the hairline was ventilated to look very similar to 4b4c hair, I'm just going to zoom in so you can see even more clearer upon installing this here. It took quite a bit of work because that week that I made this video about maybe two or three weeks ago, I was actually under the weather during this filming of this video. I wasn't feeling too well. I was coughing, my nose was running and not in the video though, but you wouldn't know, because I've edited all the parts out and also I was breaking up. But since I bought the video still came out very beautiful, as you can see from the beginning of the the video, I was still able to style the hair very well. This is the hair on the light. Now this is the hair on the regular light. So I tried to put off put down the light, so you guys can see it is actually black, but it's coming off as brown with lights, but it is black. So I'm just now going to keep quiet and we're going to go right into the video. Please stay tuned hi guys. The weather is really glooming. Today, I'm gon na try to be as much as in frame as possible. As you guys can see. This hair is extremely voluminous. Yeah. That'S the word extremely extremely voluminous and we're gon na have to do a lot of work to get this plate display pleats this place to be super super flat, but the first thing I'm going to be doing now is just to put this away put this away, Because we're going to cutting off the lace, as I said earlier, there is no need for me to bleach the lace. The lace already comes bleached. The only thing is obviously the color of the lace, but I wouldn't know until I lay properly also the hairline. I have my mirror where's my mirror now here just to help me to see how it looks if the hairline is good. The way I want, I mean it's nice, but am I still going and twist this place because it's a bit too forward for me or even cut it? Actually? Yes, so I might cut it. Let me just I like, where my sides are further down and when the front gives like this widow's peak kind of um look, so all we're gon na do is. Let me see if I'm still in frame, okay, I'm still in frame now I'm going to be taking a manicure scissors like this and like this, and I'm going to be cutting the lace so using our manicure scissors now. The reason why we're using manicures is that you can use any scissors, you want it's just because it's small and it's able to go. You know on the lace very easily without cutting your actual hair, because I just it's just better for me. First thing that I do is cut my ear tabs off then I go in and I cut the lace as close to the hairline as possible. You know this wig has some baby hairs that are kinky, so we don't want to cut it too. Close to the point that the baby hairs disappears, so here I'm just using my tigi Bed Head hairspray and a blow dryer, I'm going to put all the links to purchase all these things in the description box and I'm going to be gluing it down. You cut it off, you spray, your hair, you trim as much as you can you guys just see the pro. How do you say it now? The process of doing this hair might look very, very interesting, but the outcome is absolutely it's worth it. So here I'm just laying the hair as well, I'm going in with my metal Ender tail comb using my blow dryer as well, well or not too high heat. So I don't burn myself and then I'm gluing it down. You want to repeat that and then once you're done here, I'm just camouflaging the lace, because you guys it was a bit light with some eyeshadow and I'm now going to spray my hair spray. On top. I know it doesn't. Look nice like this. My head looks like it looks like my natural hair, but it looks like I have alopecia, but trust me just trust me. Just trust me just trust me, you guys saw at the beginning. So just trust me, then I'm just going in with the hairspray again and I'm going to now tie it down with an elastic band. This is not the one that came with it, the one that came with it is for the back of the hair. If you prefer, but I wasn't feeling too well, as I said when I did this video, so I didn't want to give myself any further headaches. So here I'm just showing you the hair that came out from the cutting and I'm going in to do my C parts. You know there's some things that like for me now. I know that if I'm so tired I can't go anywhere. I have a look that works all the time. My C Parts, some nude lipsticks, some natural looking eyeshadow and my face clean. You guys even saw in this video. As I said, I was even break. Look at my forehead. This is not my face normally, but by God's grace most of that is cleared now and I was still able to look very good when I was done with this video. That'S one thing about me: I don't know why I'm adding this to this video, but I don't like to do too much. Keep it simple and do what works so here once we've done our C part, I'm just going in with the hot comb. I was showing you earlier that this place was a bit um bulky, so I'm just going in with the hot comb to ensure that it's extremely flat. So here I've done my makeup and I'm now going to I'm going to curl this hair. By the way I find out that I like how um kinky straight looks with light curls. You can also leave it this way, but this look looks too undone for me, so here I'm just um camouflaging, my part and the hairline, even if I've removed the headband in such a way that it looks as realistic as possible. This video was shot on the natural light, although the weather was extremely gloomy. As I was doing, this video and all the only light that I have on is the ceiling room light and I'm just going in with the face powder on The Parting. You don't need to do this, I just prefer to then I'm going with my hairspray and a toothbrush just to remove any flyaways from the part, so that the part looks more defined. You guys noticed that I did not tweeze any part of this hair, even though I said I was going to, but I did not twist The Parting. I didn't twist the front, I said just do it just the way it is the only customization that I did was cutting the lace off and laying it. So here I'm just going in with um some hairspray and I think some gel and I'm just doing slight baby hairs just so that the two sides match I'm going to go and start them get my what's. It called my flat iron now, not a curling tongue. Although when I wore this hair, like a couple of days after I was actually able to curly with also just using bending rollers, no no heat just using bendy rollers and it came out really beautiful as well. So that's another option. But you guys look at how natural the sides look. It literally looks like my hair, like it looks like my hair, and this is me just putting a little bit of baby hairs on both sides. This is the hair. This is me trying to uncurl mine flat iron, so I can go in and put some light curls in the hair. There you go so yeah. You can't even decide to put layers in this hair if you prefer, but I would have done that if it was a bit longer, but it's okay, since it's just um 18 inches and the texture. So you can decide to put layers in the hair so that it has more um frame for your face. Okay, turning some curls, I think this kind of, as I said in the beginning, they always look very pretty with them with curls. You guys just look at the difference before I hope my camera. Okay, I'm just trying to get my mirror, so these curls would actually be extremely more defined the top ones. If you actually decide to um put layer in it, because it will show more sorry, I'm going over and over, I just want the curls to be a bit more defined for this part. Okay, there you go! Oh, I love this, it's very beautiful! Okay! So now, I'm just going with my flat iron, just to um, put some curls on the other side as well. As I said, if you want it to be extremely even more defined than this, I would recommend putting the hair on a mannequin and before laying it and actually putting curls in it and then pinning the curls you'll see how beautiful they will look. But this day, as I said, I just needed something easy breezy for the content. I was shooting that day and also for because I was going out as well just for that. So this is me just repeating the curls on the front part just so that it looks a little bit more. You know more defined at this point now the video had gone even way. Darker everywhere was already jet black. You guys know we're in Winter already, and this is the outcome. I really really love this hair, so I'm just going to keep quiet now and then the rest of the video would be me actually talking and not um, just voiceovers, okay. So we're finished with this hair. I just hope the camera is not too dark. It'S really gone gloomy outside and I'm only using my room lights, no artificial light, but this is this hair from genius wig. You guys have seen how I installed this hair from start to finish, I would say, technicality level this if 10 is the hardest and one is super easy. This has somewhere around six or seven. Yes, it's gon na take a little bit of skill to install because of the hairline. I understood what they were trying to do to make it look more natural, I'm just going to turn to the side in passing. You know it looks a little bit more natural. Obviously, when I'm off camera, I'm able to adjust or tweak anything with a part or anything if I feel that there's need to throughout the course of day I'll, also wear this hair and maybe I'll also add um details as well. In the description box below my observation with this type of hair, this is not the first time of me wearing. You know, kinky textures like this, I absolutely love them. I love the look. It'S very more natural. It reminds me of my own natural hair, when I flat iron it and with this hair. Let me tell you the pros and the cons. The Pros is that the hairline melts very easily into your skin, it's very nice and also with the color. It'S something that a little eyeshadow can fix, as you guys can see. Another Pro is that the texture of the hair was really nice. It took well to straightener and also took well to heat. Another Pro, I would say, is the density. The density is okay. It'S nice, it's not extremely voluminous and it's not extremely scanty. However, I noticed that they put a lot of hair on the crown here and it's also nice left to me. I would have made this place just a little bit thinner and maybe put more of that volume at the back, although there is volume at the back as well, but I was saying I'm saying if it's a thin of um one or the other. That'S the only thing it didn't shed too much. I thought that you know because of how you know finely knotted it was. It will be shedding a lot, but I actually did not experience that at least for this first um wear. I really like it. I like the fact that I can party it you know, on the center on the side anywhere I prefer. Obviously I went with my signature side Parts as well I'll see, maybe if I can go into work somewhere that has a better lighting as well and get some clips and maybe insert it somewhere in this video.
