Curly Headband Wig From Dola Hair| Glueless Install| Easy On The Go Wig| Beginner Friendly

Hey guys, hey guys, welcome back to the world of gdp, my name is gabrielle and today's video is going to be on a wig tutorial and wig review on dollar hair. So i purchased me ahead of bearing wig and i'm really excited because i've been seeing it all over youtube and instagram. I feel like it's perfect for the holidays and i'm just really excited to get into it. Um with that being said, you also get a discount code. So now i'm just showing you um, the box that came in the packaging is really cute and then on the back of the box, we have the directions of how to take care of the hair, and then we have the headbands really cute so i'll be wearing All of them close to the end of the video, but i'm just showing you how they all look, and then you have hair clips a brush and a little pouch, a wig cap and a edge brush earrings and then the just the thank you cards. So this is how the headband wig looks. It'S a deep brazilian wave curl pattern, i'm just going to show you the inside, so i already um shampooed the wig and washed the wig. So now i'm just going to put it on my head, i'm just showing you guys how it looks when the hair is wet. So now i'm using hair serum and then i'm just going to start to blow out my hair. This process was pretty easy. It just took a very long time because it is a lot of hair. So here is my hair all blown out. It'S super big. Now, i'm just going to take a hair tie and basically just put my hair up. Okay. So now we're on to the straightening process and i'm basically straighten my hair right here. I don't know what the name of this flat iron is called, but i did purchase it from marshalls a long time ago. I might have been in high school. It does really well with my wigs so now i'm using a hot comb just to get the front of the wig nice and straight so now, i'm using my curling wand. Now the hair is really long. So basically, what i would do is, i would curl like the top of my hair to the middle part and then at the very end i will curl it over again. So you see me wrapping it up right now at the end, because the hair is really long. So that's what i did - and i think the trick to this is how to make your curls, nice and juicy and like pop, is once you use the curling wand. Just use the flexi rods right after so your hair is still nice and hot and warm and it kind of sets the curl in. So i'm just going to repeat it over again, so i can show you guys what i'm doing and, like i said, you can't curl the whole string of hair, so basically just curl from the top to the middle and then again at the end. So if you're wondering where i got my curling wand from i got it from aliexpress and it gets pretty hot really quickly, so you see i have a glove on, so i don't burn my hand. So now i'm just using some texturizing spray just to spray and set in my curls the next day. So here's how it looks it's on the wig head and you see it with all the flexi rods in. I also did my edges off camera. So now i'm just taking out flexi rods. I love flexi rods. It'S the most easiest thing curl. I guess curler you can use, because throughout my childhood my mom had these curlers and you had to stick a pen in it. You had to have paper, so i love flexi rods because they're just easy to do so now, i'm just taking it down one by one and see how juicy those curls look. Yes, now i'm just running my hands through my curls, so they're not as tight. So here is how my hair looks with the headband on, and this is the cheetah print headband, and this is the zebra print headband super cute, and now i have the holiday head panel, which is really cute very christmassy. I found this headband around my room and i just thought it was really cute to show you guys so now that the wig is style. I'Ve i put it up. I put it up, but now that the wig is styled and everything now we can get on to the details of this wig. So the first thing we're going to talk about is cap construction and the section we'll talk about is the hair texture, the density and the length, and the third thing we're going to talk about is pros and cons. So let's get into cap construction. So this is this cap. Size is a medium and i am shook okay, that can fit a medium cap because, most of the time when i purchase wigs, i like them to be big head friendly. I like a little room, my wigs, because i just don't like wigs that are super tight, because that can cause headaches and everything like that. You don't want that now, like i said when i was styling the wig and everything like that it was moving around. But now that it's finally on my head in style, it feels really really good. It feels nice. It does so i like that. The second thing is the cones, so you have one on each side, so you have two combs in the front and then you have one comb in the back now certain people they like using coats and people don't like using clothes, i'm one of those people. I don't like using combs, i just don't find a need for them, but to each their own, and then you have adjustable straps in the back. So if the wig is a little bit too big on you, you just adjust the straps in the back, and you also have the headband too to make it either looser or tighter. So that's it for cap construction. The second thing is: okay, hair texture, length density and everything else, all the other details on this wig, so the hair texture is brazilian, deep curl. So in this natural form you know when i first took it out the pack, it was just curly now when you wet it, it's going to become even more curly, but i noticed that a lot of women they either if they like that wet look they'll. Just you know, put a little deep, conditioner conditioner in a water bottle or like a spritz bottle and spray it, and just rock it like that, which is also cute too, but that's just the hair texture and then the density density of the wig is 150. So it's right in the middle, it's not too heavy and it's not too thin. Like it's perfect and i love it that way. It'S just right in the middle and then the length of it is 20 inches. It'S pretty long. Now this now that's curled and everything is not 20 but um. When i straighten it, it's pretty long, yeah, so 20 inches and that's basically it for all the weight details. Now we're going to get into pros and cons and we're going to start with con first. So the cons are basically, i have two cons: okay, the hair color, i'm not really a fan about, like i feel like this hair color is cute if it was a lace, front wig, but the fact that it's a headband wig and my edges are like dark Brown, i just don't really care for it like that um so, for, if i you know, i'm definitely gon na wear this wig again, but i think wearing it a second time, i'm gon na watercolor it jet black, because for me i just want all to blend. In together and i feel like having dark brown edges, it doesn't look right with this brown and you have some blonde parts too. So i just don't feel like it looks. It kind of looks a little weird. That'S the only thing with the color and everything now i think this color is it's a beautiful color, but i would just like this in a lace front: wig um, that's it and then the second con is the shedding it did shed um. But i can't expect that as a human hair unit - and you know it's gon na shed regardless, so that's only my two cons now my pros, my pros are first things. First, is this hair is super soft. When i was going through it washing it, it was easy to wash. It was easy to blow dry, it's easy to straighten. It was easy to curl. I had no issues, no tangles or anything like that knots in the hair perfect. So the hair is really soft and smooth. It feels really nice, it does um. The second is is that it really did a good job. You know what, when it came down to straightening um, my flat iron and also with um the curling wand, it took really well to heat. So if you don't want to wear it, you know as the deep curls are already in the hair, and you want to straighten it or you want to curl it. You can definitely do it and it's fine, that's pretty much it i mean with the pros. I just really like that it's soft and smooth, and it feels really good it does so. You know - and i like it, i like it, it really took well to heat. It really did even washing it too. It'S very smooth, like i'm wearing my fingers through it, and everything like that. Like it's just it's nice, it's pretty and i feel like this is a really cute. Also, what's the pro it's a really cute, beginner wig, like you know, if you're not used to wearing wigs or anything like that, you want to start. You know it's really cute just to get headband wig and you know, do your edges and just wear as it is really simple, really easy very like on the go like you could just put this on and you can go outside of your door and i also Feel like this is a really good wig, also for exercising too, because you can put it up, you know you can put it up, you could do a half a half down style and you know, like i said it's a headband wig. So your the hair is not all in your face unless you want it to be, but you know you could do cute little styles and you can also accessorize, you know, wear the cute little headbands and stuff, so this is just a really cute wig. Overall, i love it. I have no issues in it. If i had to rate it, i would rate it, maybe one out ten hours, eight, i would give it an eight i'm gon na give it a you know. I just don't really care for the color on me, but maybe it's all in my head. I really don't i don't know. I just don't really care, i'm so used to wearing my natural hair color, where i'm just like. I don't really care to go into other colors and i mean i do play around with other colors, but i think is i like dark roots and then a color like at the end. So i do want to talk about shipping a little bit, because i forgot about that. That was one of my other details of this wig, so it takes about seven to nine days business days to be shipped um off to you.
