Storty Time! Ft. Beauty Forever Hair

Hey you guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, definitely serving the looks but um. I know you guys have been seeing me like mix and match with my backdrops. Just you know backdrops like bed, and this is kind of like a new backdrop which isn't really a backdrop. This is my door um, i have a farmhouse door, you know the one that slides and it's like wooden but um. I decorated this side of my door with fabric um printed fabric, as you can see, um y'all ever heard of that movie uh. What'S it called get into the greek get into the greek and um the song was like when life hands you with something you just stroke, the furry wall. You know what i mean stroke: the furry wall. It'S not super furry, but it's fabric. So it has a slight little touch to it, but anywho, let's get into the actual video of what i'm even doing today um. I know, judging by the title you're like why you got this dumbass hat on y'all, i have a line on my forehead. I am going to take this off eventually, but i just thought this would be cute. If, with my little look, i got going on here, y'all, like the top, the top is by icarlyz on instagram bum swag, i'm wearing a size extra small. If you guys want to you, know cop the look, it's super cute, it's like a tattoo form form fitting, like top whatever, but i keep getting off track, but you know i just want to you know, give you all the info, but um yeah. I have this hat on because i have a line on my forehead and i'm trying to wait and see if it's going to like go away magically as i'm just doing a little intro. But do i have a story for y'all today, lola lloyd, about this hair? You know one thing about me is that, even though this is a video where um, they did send me this unit to post on my youtube and on my instagram um, i'm going to be completely 100 with y'all, because i want somebody to be completely 100 with Me as far as actually buying a product um, so that's just that's just something i believe in. I will not you know, do any type of promotion for anyone. If it's like a product that i don't use and if they want to review i'm going to review it in its entirety, i'm not going to give y'all some bs because, like i said, i don't want nobody to bs me so boom. There'S that um i'm gon na take off the hat. Actually, oh, no, you could still see the line, but it's all right because you guys need to see the hair, because this is a hair review video and also like a little story. Time-Ish, it's going to be a quick video um. I just you know, wanted to post something centered around a little story for you guys and, like i said, hair as well, which hair is cute um, i'm going to show you guys in the next um like it's going to be like a slide. Video type situation of the hair before i actually manipulated it. I did um dye it with a box color um. In this light, let me see if i can change the light. Okay, that's the cool light. This is the warm light and this is the studio light. So basically, it looks more chocolate on camera for some reason, but i did dye the color um. I said dye the color. I did dye this unit, it's supposed to be like a dark. Burgundy color and i do show the actual box i use box dye. So i do show the actual box dye that i use in the next video slide um, where i'm just going to be showing you guys um the packaging, the what the actual unit looked like before i manipulated it, and things like that um. So, let's just look at that real, quick and then i'll get back into the actual video video. This wig is by beauty forever, i'm just showing you guys the packaging and how you know their wigs come. It comes with the wig, of course, um something to tie your hair down with and a wig cap, so the way that they sent me was a 22 inch silky straight unit and the color is this light brown color that i did end up dying with a Box dye, which was this supposed to be this red burgundy color. So basically, i was showing you how it's supposed to look after okay, so now that you guys got to see um the unit before all the madness. Let me just give you guys a little more intel on basically the miscommunication about what the unit was really supposed to be so um. When the company basically asked me, will the company beauty forever when they sent me the email asking me to do this, video um? They didn't really make it clear to me that the unit was a t. The letter t t part unit. So basically, if you guys are new to the wig situation or whatever the case may be a t part wig is basically when there's literally a t. So this strip of lace is going to be the only lace that you'll get plus the lace in the front. Hence the t okay, so they spun it to me like it was a closure wig. So you know um those like. I said those of you that don't know what a closure wig is, it's usually a 4x4 and it will usually just be all lace. Like all lace, you guys didn't really get to see what it looked like under, because, basically, with a um tea part wig, it usually has like a fake um. What'S it called a fake scalp, so it will just be you don't have to like. Basically, so you don't have to bleach the knots it'll be like a cream, nude color, and then it hides the part where you see the actual t. So during my process of dying this actual unit to this chocolatey cherry cola, color, i noticed when i was drying. The hair um that it had this fake scalp, so i was getting a little confused because i'm like okay, so is the 4x4 laced under the fake scalp or what's going on because i oh, i know what a t part wig is. But i guess i didn't really realize that it came with a fake scalp, so me dodo um. I cut the fake scalp out because i'm like okay, it must be some lace under here, because what the [ __ ] like so i cut it out, cut it out and, to my surprise it was strip of lace and then the lace that will help. You lay the actual wig down to keep it in place and i'm thinking it's a 4x4 closure. Silly me so um. This is where we get into. I don't know. I guess this is kind of the story anyway, so whatever so um by this time, i had already kind of like scheduled an appointment with my girl that usually installs my wigs and basically what she'll have you know her clients do is drop the unit off um. Three days prior to your um appointment, so basically that just gives her enough time to you know: do the customization bleaching the knots all that good stuff. So after i dropped the wig off to her, i just texted her a little disclaimer like hey haha. Please don't judge me from this wig because girl this wig is looking wild. I didn't know that the lace was going to be that skinny. Those are my exact words skinny. I didn't think that the lace is going to be that skinny and um yeah. I was just like girl, please don't judge me, please don't judge me because you know the last wig that i gave to you this nice silver, one that i had on in my makeup tutorial that one that was actually a 4x4 closure, transparent lace, custom color slate To the gods i get you know, i came to her with the a1 wig before so i'm like girl. Please don't judge me from this wig. It'S a promo wig, please so she's like okay cool, whatever like i'll finesse, it whatever woo so some days, go by some, so some days go by um. This is like the night before my appointment and i'm just texting her asking her for a new address because she didn't switch. You know sweets. She got a new suite, so i was like oh what's that anderson newsweek for tomorrow and then i was asking her. So how is the wig holding up because low-key i'm like teapart, wigs low-key, be a bit janky like they're, more so on the beauty supply store? You know type wig as far as like quality, so like don't get me wrong, the hair looks nice and shiny and the hair was actually um not really super hard to work with, but the lace was super hard to work with, but that usually happens with beauty Supply wigs because they're more so on the cheaper side, so um, of course, like i said, the problem was that she couldn't get the knots in the wig to lighten, and i was like you know what girl that's fine. I kind of figured that it would be that way. We don't even have to waste our time or wait. I don't have to waste my money on getting this installed because i'm gon na just try to throw this on myself, because it's giving beauty supply store. Wig quick little look it's giving. This is a quick little look wig. This isn't giving put this wig on for months and months on end. You know now, even though i don't really keep wigs on months or months on end, because i like to switch up. My look a lot, but i like it to be secure and i usually will keep a wig on depending on the style. I usually keep on keep a wig on for a good month um. I think i had that silver wig on for a good three to four weeks, but um yeah. So i just saved my coins saved the time i was just like girl. I'M sorry for you! When i see your time with this, wig blasey blasi blob went and got the wig from her and then i'm like all right guess we're doing this ourselves. So i just went, and i did a little like have. I just have a wig cap on um. I just did a little just got to be: spray got to be glue and i blow dried it, and so it's it's on it's on, but i don't plan on keeping this wig on for much longer, only just to do what i have to do in it And then take it off so um, i am going to show you guys a side by side of what the wig looked like on before i cut it and the wig um, and how the wig looks basically now like in pictures and stuff like that. Even though you get to see it now but on camera, or as i would say in artificial lighting, it looks more like a chocolate color or whatever, but in like sunlight natural lighting. It looks more of a cherry cola, color more of the color that i was going for it's actually very weird, but i'm really not mad at the chocolate color and i'm like not mad at the of course, the color that i was going for but um. I would say, and all the hair itself is, is actually pretty pretty good, pretty. Okay um, it's super like it's super thick as a really like thick density um. It was very working very well with the heat um as far as flat ironing, because i think i flat ironed this unit about a good like five times, just because i was going through difference like trying to style it in different ways and also like you know, Just making sure i touch up um, the top part with my hot comb, keeping it nice and flat um, but yeah like the hair itself, is like good but, like i said, this isn't really a wig that you would like keep on for a long period of Time this is a wig that you throw on and off on and off on and off uh when you wash it, it does get a nice cute like wavy. It'S not like, i guess as if it was like um like a body wave texture. So when you wet it, it does get wavy, which i probably will give a little wet look on my instagram but um, just like, like i said, to show like the different um my lashes, getting stuck together child but yeah, just to show like the different stages Of the hair and things like that, um, let me just give you, because from afar i'm not gon na lie from afar. The lace doesn't even look that bad and it actually looks like it's meshing very well, but you guys it does look um doable, but like up close and in pictures you can see. The knots like the knots are very noticeable and it's crazy because um my girl, like i said she did, attempt to bleach the knots of the wig and they did get a little lighter, but not much lighter. So i did kind of just put some concealer, because that's all you can really do, but even the strongest of concealers can't hide these dark as knots. So that's just a full disclaimer. So if you want to just get a wig, that's like throw on this is just a quick little look type of wig. This is the wig for you um, but, like i said, the hair itself is nice, though it's nice and silky, it's thick. It moves. It moves and stuff well also. I'Ve only had the hair for like a week, and it's only really been in my hair for well installed in my head for like two days. I know a lot of people's gon na ask. Well, what made you cut into a bob well well, when you guys saw the side-by-side picture um of me with it long. I don't know why, but i just feel like long hair, especially how like it was looking at first. I don't know why i just looked so big and bulky to me, but it was just looking too much, especially long, so i was like i'll just bob it. You can't go wrong with the bob and the bob actually ended up looking cuter than the actual long hair to me, that's just how i feel about that, but um hope you guys enjoyed this mini review. Like i said, if you want a cute quick little, look, it curls nicely it flat irons nicely it takes. It takes very. It takes heat that it takes heat very well. So if you want something quick, something to put heat on and it will still give you like a little movement, this is the unit for you. If you want something that you can dye.
