Hey guys welcome back, let's get into this gingerbread unit from beauty forever, amazon perfect for the fall season. So for all the details keep watching i've been working so much lately. I can barely find the time to sleep yeah. I spend my time running around keeping people pleased, but this is my favorite holiday. Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my channel. This is stephanie nicole age. So, first i'm going to show you the unboxing of this unit and everything that came inside so inside this beautiful silver bag came a pair of lashes. Also, this beautiful silk scarf and a set of clips very handy and also, let's not forget, a pack of wig caps. Let me go ahead and take the unit out, so we can take a look at it and see what the construction looks like. So this is a 16 inch unit. It is t part, so there's lace right there in the parting line, as well as lace right there in the front, so very very little lace. Also two cones in the front will come in the back adjustable straps. The unit is lightly pre-plucked, but since it is a two-part unit, you really cannot pluck it anymore. I decided to install this unit straight out the box, so i did not co-wash the unit at all, but here i am just putting a little bit of foundation right. There in the parting line, as well as the hairline on the lace and this unit, has a little bit of lace on the back. So i'm just clipping that off right now i already have a wig cap on my head, so i'm going to go ahead and place the unit on my head, placing that back comb in the back of my head and those two front combs in the front of My hair and the unit is definitely big head friendly. It is taking me some adjustment to get those ear tabs where they need to be, as is tradition, it's a little too big for my head. So it's going to take some rearranging and now i'm just using a couple of the clips that came with the unit to clip the hair back, so i can work on spraying the lace down. So, with my got to be glue spray, i'm going to spray a layer right on my hairline and using my blow dryer to dry it down until it's tacky and then go ahead and spray another layer blow dry. Some more also. I do want to warn you that this entire video is going to be a voiceover, because i'm completely under the weather, the thanksgiving holiday just took me out. So now i'm laying the lace down over the spray and spraying another coat of gossipy glue right there on the hairline and then another once over. With my blow dryer, this ginger brown color is so super popular right now in this fall season. I definitely had to try it out and now i'm cutting the lace off as close to the hairline as possible, cutting in a zigzag motion to prevent any kind of lines of demarcation and now just pressing that lace down on my forehead and using the blow dryer Again to dry it some more and now i'm using one of my favorite melting techniques, so i'm tying an elastic band around my head, making sure that it does cover that front of the lace, so it can melt right into my skin. One positive about this unit is, since the hair is so light. I did not have to bleach the knots. They were already light enough to blend into my scalp, as you can see that parting line is already popping. So, while the lace is melting, i'm going to go ahead and style the unit, so i'm putting some. She is bomb wax stick right around the parting line, as well as the hairline and then using my hot comb to lay the unit down. So it's nice and flat. Let me go ahead and give you some more positives on this unit, so the unit does not tangle whatsoever, and that's probably because this is a shorter unit. It'S only 16 inches. So it's not a lot of hair to be tangled up or matted. So that's always good. Also, the unit takes heat very, very well. As you can see, everything is nice and silky straight up at the top, where i just used. My hot comb and you'll soon see that this unit does curl very well with a curling iron and now i'm cutting in a face frame. So all i'm doing is sectioning off the front part of the hair on both sides and then cutting down in an angled motion. The rest of the hair is layered pretty good, so this is all of the cutting that i'm going to do on the unit and now it's time for some curls for the girls. So now i'm just separating out a small section of hair and then clipping the rest away and with a small section of hair, i'm going to curl it towards the back so away from my face and again since this unit is only 16 inches long. It takes absolutely no time to curl. I think i only took about 10 minutes to curl both sides of my head when the curl is released from the curling iron, make sure to pinch it for a second or so just so that the hair can cool down and that curl can lock in. I feel like this color would look absolutely beautiful on all skin tones. This unit has so many positives. First, as you can see, the unit holds onto a curl very well, also the color, absolutely beautiful, as well as the length and this unit is sold on amazon. So amazon, prime two day, shipping, no tangling and you can wear this unit glueless it's pretty much a throw on and go type of unit. The only reason that i sprayed it down is it's a little too big on my head. However, i think it would be the perfect size on anyone else's head and no bleaching. The knots is required. There are, however, a couple of negatives that i do have to mention. First would be: there is a little bit of shedding that i received when i was curling the unit also. I wish there was a way to pluck this unit out a little more around the hairline, but since this is a tea party unit, the tracks are very, very close to the parting line as well as the hairline. So i'm going to go ahead and finish curling. This right side of my head and then i'm going to do the left side off camera, and i will be right back as you can see. Both sides of my hair are curled, so i'm going to go ahead and remove the elastic band and then comb out the curls with a wide tooth comb and i'm combing towards the back. To get more of that feathered, look! Don'T sleep on these shorter length units. They curl beautifully. It takes a lot less time to curl and it's just gorgeous a more natural look, and now i'm just combing out a small amount of hair on both sides of my parting line to make some baby hairs. So, just separating out a little bit and combing that down and once i have those hairs combed down, i'm going to use some little scissors to cut those shorter, a little gossipy glue gel on those shorter hairs and then swooping those back with my edge brush. It'S so funny, as soon as my husband saw me with this hair color, he immediately called me shikari richardson, which i mean she did rock the heck out of this hair color. I think the baby hairs make this unit look a little bit more natural, since i was not able to pluck out the hairline as i would like to, and now just a little bit of concealer right there in the parting line, to make this part pop. A little bit more, and that is it - this is one of my more easier installs. If i do say so myself. I absolutely love this color on me. Tell me what you think down in the comments below.
