She has fine textured hair. You know we got. We always talk about having fine textured here and not having a lot of volume because it comes with the territory. It'S not like a choice, that's just God gave us. I know because I have it so hey. It is what it is um, but we're gon na be giving her some layers. We'Re gon na be doing all that good stuff. And then, of course, you guys are going to be working with me in the salon today, so be prepared to sit back and do your thing um reminder the Cyber week sale has continued. So we have our flat iron starting at 55 and then, of course, we have our 10 12 sale on all of our hair care, hair, restoration and moisturizing products, all right so for her wash, we are actually going to be using our B7 Beyond collection, which restocks Next week I know a lot of you have been waiting on the D7 Beyond um. The official restock is next week right now, we're just trying to con complete any pre-orders and any um Cyber Monday and Black Friday, and all that stuff sales um orders and get everything back in on track, and then we restock everything this coming week. So why the [ __ ]! I'M, ah I got it all right, so we are going to be using our Elite clarify for her first wash um. You guys always hear me fake, clarifying on your first wash is super important. It'S actually probably one of the most important parts of the wash day process. Why? Because you want to start out with a clean canvas. Okay, a lot of you, try to use your luxury shampoos like your hair repair and restore your moist repair, or even your B7. Beyond and you're using that to clean first rather than to treat so if you don't have a clarifying shampoo, this is definitely the product that you want to ensure you have, and you start your wash day with a clarifying shampoo unless otherwise stated, which you guys always Hear me talk about other reasons why I don't use clarifying on some clients, but for the most part we clarify almost everybody. So the goal of a clarifying shampoo is to, of course, strip the hair of any excess oils. Um dirt debris objects whatever, and then of course, once you have that clean canvas, then you start with your treatment shampoos and your treatment conditioners. Are you interior, okay and everything that you guys see me do you can also do for your children as well? So our products can be used on children. I use my products on my children. All of our shampoos are sulfate free, okay, we're super proud to stand on that that all of our shampoos are sulfate free, including the B7 Beyond. So you really just have to know your porosity and where to start porosity and texture, is your roadmap all right, so we're going to go ahead and do her second shampoo, which is the B7 Beyond Ultra volumizing Biotin and capacity butter, sulfate, free shampoo and then we'll? Also do the B7 Beyond volumizing conditioner now. The reason why I chose to use the B7 Beyond on her is because she is fine textured and one of our biggest struggles is looking at or appearing that we have any form of volume. Okay, volume is an illusion for us: that's really the only way that you can achieve volume or by adding extensions or something of that nature. So that's another reason why I wanted to use the B7 because it is a volumizing system, so you guys see how it gives that nice lather that nice stud, if the hair is not clean. First then you're, basically using your luxury shampoo to clean your hair. Okay, so make sure that you clarify first and if you don't want to clarify - or maybe you need to use some dry itchy - you have the itchy scalp, then you can use our soothing balance and use that as your clarifier foreign all right. So we did two shampoos, I'm going to apply the B7 Beyond volumizing conditioner and allow it to sit on her hair for about two to three minutes now, with her being fine textured, you don't want to leave it on the hair for too long because it can Run the possibility of over hydrating the hair, but if your medium or coarse textured, you can definitely leave it on for up to 15 minutes with a processing cap under a hooded dryer or if you're doing a hydration treatment with it, then you will use um you'll. Do it without a processing cap hey good morning, I have a question. What kind of charger you have you have you have yours? Has that end like that that one back here? No, it's not Apple, it's they call it like a C4 or something okay. So you have the piece that goes to yours to charge it um that has that opening. No, the other thing like that. So I'm towel drying her. Who can tell me why I'm towel drying her first before I put my leave-in conditioner on why my towel drying her. So I'm going to spray on the B7 Beyond volumizing leave-in conditioner we're just going to mist it on. So when you put leave-in conditioner on, you should not be up here: okay, you're supposed to mist it on your hair. If you put too much leave-in conditioner, it will make your hair heavy, exactly ebony to get rid of excess water pack you're correct as well. So I'm actually going to comb her hair down in the direction of how I'm going to somewhat cut her um. Really, this part is not a huge thing, because you still have to go through blow dry. You can still get the chance to directionalize the hair um, but this is just makes it for easier, styling, easier, cutting that kind of thing. What I'm also going to do is I'm going to put some Elite silk, wrap foam on her crown just to kind of lay her hair down. This is something you guys can also do at home. It kind of just starts the process of giving you that nice flat base, especially because we're doing a bob cut - and this is good, especially when it's it could be relaxer time, whatever it just kind of helps to lay your hair or a flatter Foundation, or even On your hairline same thing, all right, okay, so you can pick any dryer, so I'm gon na put her under the dryer I'll come back for you guys in just a moment Magic. Do our shampoo um we're going to Silk her out first and the reason why I'm using the word silk Out means still got means flat. Ironing you guys some people just try to be a little too technical with words, but she is at almost the point for her retouch. So when you're at that point, trying to cut her hair when her roots are raised is not really a good thing. So I'm going to Silk her out, just as I would if it was a silk press or she was natural and then we'll do her hair cut. So that means that I will have a even canvas. Everything will be nicely laid down and then I'll be able to see my cut, and I know what her hair will look like once it's relaxed and laid down, so I'm gon na use the um one inch black diamond H2 Pro iron. This is ceramic, and all I'm doing is just going through passing it over her hair, smoothing her hair out and then we'll start her cut. So we've already kind of talked about the haircut that she's getting. She already had an idea and then another thing with haircuts when you're trying to do like what we call like a reset cut. You can't just go based on the length of the back of your head because remember the whole style. The whole cut is the entire head, so while the back of her hair is really long in some places, the front of her hair is sparse at the ends. So I have to be able to match her front to her back and you can't make the back long and the short the front short now you can make the front long and the back short, but you can't do it the opposite way. So her length is kind of determined by the front. It'S it's determined by what part of her head is the shortest and where that shortness is located. So a lot of you will be like, oh, why did you cut all her hair? She had long hair in the back that doesn't really matter if her hair is shorter in the front and most of us, that is how hair grows. Your your hair starts up here and the back your hair starts down here, so it's always going to appear longer. I know I wasn't crazy. My iron is way too low, I'm like why is this hair, not so silky, and I didn't look that the degree from my iron it's 350.. So that brings me to another point where, when you guys hear me saying: oh I'm using it at 450, I'm doing larger sections. So that is another reason why I usually bump my iron up to 450 and then, if I see that it's too high based on how straight it's making the hair or how crinkly the hair is, then I will adjust from there so a safe place. To start. Would be around 400 350 is just not hot enough for almost anyone much better. I can tell the difference to how the hair looks when I need to adjust the temperature on my iron and then another Pro tip when you are um flat. Ironing your hair to make it straighter or make your roots straighter. I highly suggest, especially if it's time like your hair is, is really basically at the verge of it's time for me to relax. My hair put some tension on the hair to stretch it out. That is how you stop yourself from getting burned or being burnt, because you're stretching out that root so that the heat can get in between and then everything will go nice and straight okay. I thought it was the chair how's it looking. You burn um so give her like two more minutes and then you can rinse. Okay - and this is that Crystal which Brown is best to curl the hair after it's sick of silk out, I don't like using curlers, so I don't use curling irons um, but it just depends on the length of your hair. So if you have a bob like her, you can either use the one inch or you can also use the one and three fourths inch ceramic. If your hair is longer than her hair at this stage, then I'd say just go with the one and three-fourths inch. Um the Vivace, so that's the one that you guys hear me, call it the red plate. The Vivace iron is great for people who have longer hair and you want to be able to curl. It is not a curling iron, it is still a flat iron. But if you know how to curl with a flat iron, it's going to make your life a lot easier and it lessens the number of tools that you have to keep at home foreign exactly gal. I can't find a good hairdresser, the one you say, that's unfortunate for her um. I can't see hairdryer you got sitting in the corner. How much was it? No because you don't have enough coverage in the crown you have to have enough coverage to cover the tape, so it would have exposed itself too much all right, so we're gon na put one here. Thank you.
