Why are we still torturing ourselves with this and I'm talking about this, just throw it away, throw the whole thing away, you just don't need it. Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel how you guys doing today, I wan na talk to you guys about something that has been plaguing me. Okay, I've seen a lot of tutorials a lot of hair videos, a lot of wig videos. I know we kind of saw, but I've seen something that kind of makes me feel like. Why are we still doing this? Why are we still torturing ourselves with this and I'm talking about this and the black version I've had both the black flesh is supposed to be waterproof, but in my experience the black version is not waterproof a little bit of sweat a little moisture outside and your Wig is lifting it's falling right off. This does last longer, but oh, my god. The whole process of this is just you have to put it on, and then you have to wait for it to get tacky by using your hairdryer and then putting it on cool and blowing and a wet it's just. No just too much just leave it, and then you have to finish it off we're getting this spring and then spring on to make it extra secure. Why are we doing this to ourselves? It'S just too much effort. All you really need is that got to be glued blasting spray. That'S it the blasting free spray. Does everything and I'm going to show you exactly how to use it, to cut your wig prep time in half so cool neural pattern is out. The first thing that I do is get myself some conditioner whatever it is that you use on a daily basis for your hair, just get yourself some and rub it through your rows, and then I put my wig cap on and get it just over. My hairline and then I get a cotton pad and some rubbing alcohol just to get off the extra sweat or moisture from my hairline. I don't put it on my hair, just the skin. This is the hair that I'm going to be using today. I know super blonde. I'Ve never gotten this light before while I have, but I had dark roots, I made this wig. I got the hair from an aisle Express shop, called Aly, grace I'll, put the links in the description bar on everything I like to customize my wings on my head, but I did add a strap at the back and I have already cut the lace. I roll back the lace frontals a little bit and I use they've got to be glued sprayed. No more of this. No just thrown it away, throw the whole thing away. You just don't need it. The blood spray is so easy. There'S no residue left with this. That'S another thing I like to do one layer: let that dry completely and then do another spray. You see that you see how that's sticking and then I just go ahead and push it down. This is down completely any little bits that aren't down like, for example. Here I can see that little wig is lifting just a little bit. I can still see the lace, get your spray spray a little into your finger and just rub it along the line. Get your comb and just pull it down, and that's it as far as getting your lace wig on that's all you need to do now. I'M gon na go ahead and style the hair. Do you see how easy that was got to be glued gel is out the window now, so I've straightened the hair. I'Ve laid it. How I wanted it to be now, I'm just gon na go ahead and cut in some baby hairs and then lay them. I lay the baby hairs like I would do any other normal wig, but with colored hair. I always find that laying baby has too much makes it look really really fake, because if you ever look at someone who has naturally straight blonde hair, they don't have curly baby hairs in front of their head. That'S just not realistic, so I don't bother doing baby eyes like that because to me it just doesn't look that realistic, but you guys do your baby has any way you like, there's, no right or wrong way. It'S up to you! How you want to express yourself, but I prefer, to dry brush my baby hairs after I've laid them just to make them come out a bit. The effect is to make the hair look like it's growing from my scalp, not to make it look flat. On top of my head, do you see the difference? Do you see what I'm talking about? Much of the preparation of getting a wig ready to slay is not actually getting the wig down on your head with the got to be glue, but it's the process of laying the baby hair straightening, the hair, putting in the style that sort of thing. That'S what makes the wigs look more realistic in all honesty, these type of wigs aren't really meant to be slept on. When you do one you mess up the wig too, it pulls on your edges and just roughs up your hair for you to think that you can go where to put a wig on and then sleep in it and think that you're gon na keep all your Hair, it's just a myth. Have you wanna burn it at night before? Have you ever woken up with your bonnet push back or not even on your head anymore? It'S slid back and it's come off. Has that happened to you? That'S exactly what's happening when you have a wig on your head, but the only thing that's not moving the wig off of your head is the glue what's happening at night. Is that you're laying on the pillow that glue is in contact with the wig? You put your head down and you are sliding there's so much friction. That'S pulling on your edges. Your wig might not come off at night and you might be like hey, but your edges sure will be going off to a while. The whole point of a wig is to protect your natural hair and while having fun with different, colors and experimenting, but not having to actually do any of that to your own hair, which would fry. So what's the point of having a really nice-looking wig. But you have nothing unless, of course you both under and that's the look you were going for anyway. So please protect your edges. Take the wig off at night get yourself a spray bottle with conditioner and water spray into the edges of the wait rub that in and then it will lift really easily and you will keep your edges okay. So I only the warning: I'm sounding like your mum's, but I'm just trying to help you please secure your edge, be careful, so I hope this was helpful. You guys, I hope it shaved some time off of you, wig prep, when you're getting ready. Thank you for watching, see you guys my next one

ItsNeïra: I like sleeping in my wigs because I hate the thought of me having to go somewhere in a rush and I have to reapply my wig again

AliyahBee: Anyone claiming got2be is waterproof know they lying like hell

ZombehPanda: I am so glad I watched this video. I will be losing my natural hair soon and have started researching wigs. I'm already completely emotional about needing a wig in the first place but at least with your help it won't take as much effort. Thank you!! ♥

Destiny Alva: I have been watching so many wig videos trying to figure out how to do this. I cut my own hair & hate it & have been wanting to wear a wig until it grows out. This is the most understandable thing I've seen!!! I was honestly so worried that I would have to sleep in it & I'm so glad to know I can take it off & still have my regular hair!!!

Chelsea Lopez: As a new wig wearer for fun, it’s good to hear there’s a way to keep it down without pulling out your edges! I have a lot of baby hairs naturally and I don’t want any of my hair coming out when I take off the wig! Thank you so much for this video it’s exactly what I was looking for and it’s short sweet and to the point!

Jess so Bless: ❤❤ Thanks for making this video! It was helpful, finally I can get rid of that tacky hair glue I use. Gonna try your method

Liung Arkeanda: Hey, I’d seen the freezing spray recommended on a few other videos for good hairspray for wigs, but after watching this video I decided I had to take the plunge and get it. But when I tried it last weekend, it didn’t work! I sprayed it on, and it never got sticky, eventually it just dried completely without ever getting sticky/tacky. I eventually had to give up and switch back to spirit gum. What am I doing wrong?

jay: I’m really gonna try this, you just saved me a lot of money! Even the tip on water and conditioner in a bottle because I was definitely about to pay 20 for lace glue removal ...thank you! ❤️

Conniestyles: Hair life saver.. I have been looking for a quick method as I got soooooooo tired with the gel. Thank you plenty x

MsChiffon: Girl Thank you girl because I was just about to go out and get me both of Got 2 be glue products. Now I only need the spray thanks hun and you are looking fierce!

Kandra Dusich: Thank you for not sculpting the baby hairs. I just commented on a video yesterday asking why every wig wearer slicks the hairline back and then combs it forward after plastering the baby hairs to the head.

30jojoo: I always wanted to glue them down but didn't want to use the gel because I heard it ruins your natural hair so I absolutely love this!

Trance Diva Wear: Thank you. Plus, you are simply so beautiful. A natural beauty, no massive amount of makeup needed, at all. I feel your good energy. Ignore the hate. Hate is the negative emotion because they feel bad/guilty for not being that way. Hate is a misinterpretation of what a person is really feeling. Jealousy hurts the one who is jealous. That ache in the pit of our stomach does not mean to not like someone, it's difficult for the brain to interpret this. Since it kills in the pit of your stomach & we actually hate pain, the pain we feel, we default to hating the person who is causing this pain. Recipe for 'Hater-aid'. Lol, I rambled! Empathic & Goddess. Keep the love coming through the screen. I'm sure that there are others who feel it too. Then there will be the negative comments, lol. Proving what you proving you just read. ♥ So, I say to those, thanks for being my teaching aid. (mike dropping) ROFLMO

Vanessa E: Getting my first wig soon so glad this popped up

Kristine Noffsinger: Omg! Thank you so much girl!! This helps me so much!! I have a 613 lacefront too I used a lil of the got2b glued black hair gel. You're so right though I HATE the residue that's leftover after I take off at night. I can't wait to try this! I've also used eyelash glue in the passed.

Georgetta Heck: Your video was very helpful thank you for the information, im a beginner and want to install my lace front wig myself, and again thank you for the info, you really rock your wigs

Gen S: Definitely love you with blonde hair & you were speaking nothing but FACTS & knowledge in this video

YourGirlSudanny: This was really helpful Raven! I'm gona try using this instead of my glue!

Imani Franklin: Love this video!it was so helpful❤️

J707: I finally bought my first custom wig and this was the only video that helped me! Other videos are so complicated. Thank you so much :)

Ultravioletx1: This blonde color looks amazing on your skin tone ✨

Dee Dellimore: Been using just the spray because it's easier xD love it!!!

kivigray0423: This is true! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been using from the start, and I don’t even alcohol it 1st. Still works!

Charsdiy: Such a helpful and informative video. I don't know why how no one mentions how the G2B glue also leaves that white residue on the lace it's hard to remove thanks Raven for your helpful tips.

Word 0n Wheel3z: wow you have the most beautiful skin such a beautiful tone and thank you for this tip I will be beginning to do my own hair and all the help I can get I really appreciate and the easy steps make me want to try it more :)

Trezenia Smith: I'm glad I clicked on your tutorial, thank you!!

MichelleOrMarie: I watched this video yesterday evening and decided to try it after I saw other's on youtube using this method. I laid my wig down yesterday night (it's sewed down except the front) before going to bed. I tied it down. Usually with the glue it sweats off during the night. I woke up this morning and it was still on. I work OUTSIDE Miami Beach......I worked 8 hours in the sun and it's STILL ON!!! Thank you

Fatima Rashid: Thanks for the tip sis! Just watched three long tutorials with bold hold and g2b gel. I’m sitting here like this shit take too long. But I guess it depends on activity, sweat, and what works best for every individual.

Rajini Singh: gurl I've been doing this since I started wearing wigs awesome video

Bodied By Lotus: This is the best video I’ve watched about edges. I’m a beautician and like to see different techniques and this is by far the best one and informal without information overload. Great tutorial!

Anjolaoluwa Awe: You always slay wigs!

EB Onyx: You are awesome. Your information was spot on! Your explanation was great . Thank you and that blonde looks likes you grew it yourself.

Adream: Thank you, I just started wearing wigs and this was very helpful

T.: Omg! Thanks soooo much. I have NO idea how to glue down & remove a wig. Super concerned about saving my edges. You just saved me. Thanks!!!!!

Miss Madeline: great video and thanks for keeping it short and to the point

Have fun n Watch a video: Thank you! The most important part was how to protect our edges at the end to me and how or with what products. Do a segment on retaining your edges and why it's important to take off that wig at night......unless you with a new boo lol it will have to wait for next day off with your hat trick any who great job. P.S. I thought you looked a little like Nikki Minaj with your blonde wig on cute cute cute.

Mr.Nightingale: Great tip!! I like to use a layer of gel first- just because the spray is alcohol based and can be drying and damaging over time!

Latasha Roberts: Thank you. I have tried a lot of different things, but this is the best method I have tried. It was so simple and so quick, I would recommend everyone to do this.

Corrie modification: Thanks so much got myv1st wig today going to follow everything you've said thanks so much btw your stunning

J DEVINCI: I love using the hairspray to lay & slay my edges <3 <3 <3

K A S S I XoXo: Can you please talk me through like every problem i might have in my life? I looove listening to you and your confident delivery and humor. You’re amazing.

Josephine Arkangelo-Gaudensio: THANK YOU MUM IVE BEEN SAYING THIS TO MY FRIENDS BUT THEY JUST DONT LISTEN ‍♀️

sleepyflow3r: OH MY GOD! Thank you Jesus for WARNING people. I just learned the hard way. I'm done with wigs for awhile because of my hair stylist not telling me about this method being useful in protecting my edges.

Didi Delgado: Becare girls because they are doing a study on black hair products & it’s giving some of us fibroids among other things. I pray one of us would come up with natural products & start making & buying our own wigs!!!

Bryce Reyes: Very good video. I don’t use any of that. I actually use a wig grip. I really don’t want to lose my edges as well. I had postpartum hair loss after I gave birth to my baby girl. I was on a mission to have them grow back, so I used vitamins and coconut oil which really helps. Again thanks for this video, and now I see another option. I am like you, I take out my wig every night and sleep.

Shan: Girl, you did that! #timesaver #naturalista #wigonpoint

Teresa Thomas: You are a life saver....edge saver. Common sense will keep those edges and save you money!!❤

Rebecca Petty 1k: You make it look easy I am receiving a front lace wig tomorrow I am gonna try to apply your advice.. Wish me luck!

1sweetmess: I love your honesty. New to your channel. I've used the got 2 be glued in the black and yellow glue/gel and it gave me bad results. I would say that is good for a man's hair if he has shorter hair and spiked or styles it, but that would be about it.

mrsmarciad: Thanks darling for your tutorial. Its true and I learnt something from you. Thank you x

Moe Life: This was extremely helpful! Thank you!

Foreign Gold 🧿: I feel like I never have to watch a wig laying video again
