How To Make Your Wig Look More Natural!

Hey glam fam: it is Alison and Linwood back with a week review and, as you guys can see, this wig is absolutely gorgeous, but let's get into some of the details with it. This one is about 22 inches long. It is from Royal me, but it originally came looking like this here now. This one did come in this ponytail, which I will say is position much better than last, when we reviewed in ponytails, so they've definitely improved that it came pre-colored and it was packaged in this box right here. It'S pre tweeze and it does not have bleach knots, but the knots are colored to match the wig. You'Ve got the bald cap method in here shouts out to mesh precious Marie for creating this method. Before it was coined by mini hair companies. You have the adjustable strap that is removable. You'Ve got the comb attachments in there, but the thing that impressed me was the fact that the mesh of the cap is the same color as the hair. I'Ll show you a bit more once I flip it over, but that basically means if the wind blows. You don't have to worry about your cap, showing I've literally seen some wigs, where the wick will be like this color, but the cap is like tan, so it helps so before I customize I'm gon na go ahead and place this on my canvas, wig block and Then we're just gon na pin it down with some t pins and I just kind of make sure it's nice and snug. So I can get onto the tug and tugging all that we're gon na go ahead and remove this ponytail, which came out pretty easy partially because they changed the way they put the band in there and then I'm gon na actually show you guys how to do. This style by arrogant a 1 2 3 on Instagram, make sure to check him out I'll put his description stuff in the detail, details of his stuff, all in the description box below so we're gon na begin. By doing the deep side part you guys and see, there's some flyaways, though so you're gon na need a little bit of foaming, wrap I'm using this one here by BMB, and I'm gon na apply this very liberally to this hair. I want it to be under control and very much pliable, so I'm playing this on here in areas where, if -- like that hair is still giving me some resistance, I'm applying a little bit more, so it can wet down and get it under control. Now, if you're wanting a lesser hold with your foam wrap, you can wet the hair first, but honestly I knew that was gon na add to drying time of the wig. So I just wasn't down for that after I've gone ahead and done that I'm parting off how I want it and I'm just shaping the front away from the face and then down towards the face on the other side cuz, I don't need outs and running people Over in the car, because she can't see out of her left eye anyhow, so I'm gon na go in and just lightly tweeze the front hairline a little bit more since the hair. There'S since the knots don't look bleach like they usually are no red. Just looked a little bit more full to me on there, so I did go ahead in and just did a bit of tweezing in the front and I'm gon na do a bit more on the side. If you notice on the video that Arrogant a one two three had, it was a bit more sparse in this area and I think that's something that adds to the way that it just looked more natural and kind of melted into the skin. So I'm gon na show you guys a couple techniques for that, I'm just lightly tweezing on the hairline and just behind the hairline, especially on the side, just to kind of give more of that illusion of naturalness there from there I'm gon na take out just a Tiny amount of hair along the hairline just in the dips, as well as around the sideburn area and I'm gon na jaggedly, cut some baby hairs notice. I said jaggedly keep in mind notice. You don't even really see them there when I let it go when you're dealing with baby hair less is more. I am so tired of seeing these people cut off these big old blocks. A baby here do a little bit. It goes a long way. You cannot see it now, but I'm gon na go in with some foaming wrap again and lay these babies down and you'll. See them magically appear, so don't feel like you've got to have infinity million baby hairs on here. It'S just not that necessary. So I hope that that's more understandable, if not you'll, see exactly what I mean momentarily from there. I'M just applying a bit more of the foaming wrap on there remember I said I was applying it liberally and I'm styling this baby here, just by kind of laying it down into the side. It'S gon na get much more of a natural fall to this hair and notice. The baby hair is not excessive. This looks like okay, that's natural, unbelievable, because I want the side to lay really flat. I am gon na brush it down with a boar bristle brush. It just helps to give a smoother lay there and then from there I'm gon na wrap it with a wrap strip. Now you could set this under the dryer or let it air dry, but I'm super impatient. So I decided to pull out my blow dryer and I'll. Show you guys that in a minute. So this is what it looks like after its messily wrapped up and I'm gon na go ahead and get this baby blow-dried, because ain't nobody got time to be trying to wait for two hundred million hours for this baby to dry. I just don't have that kind of patience that kind of time I got stuff to do today tomorrow and the next day, so let's go ahead and get it dry. It took me maybe about I'd, say eight minutes or so, which honestly is great timing, considering that I did have to wet the hair with the foaming wrap, but that's also why I didn't use water from there. I'M gon na make it look even less like a wig by going in with a curling wand and laying that part line down a bit more. This is gon na make it lay more flat and seamlessly blend a bit more with the scalp and I'm also gon na. Do it around the front hairline to make it blend a bit more seamlessly, as it slicks back so I'm gon na go ahead and remove the strip and then we'll do the sides in the same manner. This is gon na help it to lay a bit better and it's gon na help to give that hair some memory of exactly how we laid us. So we wet the hair and let it dry that way to give it some memory. And now I'm going in and setting it with heat. So if this hair forgets how I laid it, it's got more issues with memory than dori. Okay, so we're gon na go ahead and clip up with a duckbill clip on this side, just to encourage the hair to stay that way, and I did put a light mess of hair spray. Now I'm gon na use, my babble is titanium iron and it is that at 35 I'm just gon na flat iron. Through all of this hair, I put a very light and I mean a light bump in the bottom and from there that was pretty much it in terms of styling, so it wasn't overly complex once I did that, I took just say: dot of Allison's foundation. On my hand, you guys can see. I was very sparing with that: I'm taking a thin brush and I'm gon na go right in this part line. Now, while it does look really good, I wanted to make sure that part line was really defined like arrogant haze when you saw it in the video before so I'm going in and placing some foundation there, as well as in that space, where I tweeze out a Bit more to make it look like a scalp there, especially because the lace did look a little bit lighter than Allison to me. So this just helps to give some Tim now, I'm just gon na stipple that in so you don't see it on the hair. But you do see the tent of lace from there. I'M gon na go ahead and cut this lace and then I'm gon na just slide cut it. So it's a little bit more jagged and I'm gon na make sure I slide up underneath those wavy hair. So right there I'm able to easily get the edge of my shear underneath there, but towards the bottom you'll see where I kind of lift the hair up a bit. So I make sure I don't cut it, but I want you guys to see how easy it is to kind of cut around this. It'S not super complex when it comes to cutting lace, I think a lot of times. I see people overcomplicate it and it just seems confusing and stressful, but we're just gon na go there and notice. There'S where I pulled that baby here out of the way and then I'm gon na go ahead and cut and look the baby hair falls right back in place because I told it what to do with the foaming wrap and with the heat now look how this Hair moves and shines you guys there is no shine product in this hair. The only thing I put in was just the foaming wrap around the hairs hair line a little bit hair spray around the hairline. The rest of that is a shine that the wig came with. Naturally, so it still looks really good from there Allison's gon na pop that baby on and she is laying it down with some got to be glued gel, as you guys can see in the corner of the screen there in the bottom left she's not talking for The sake of tutorial she's running her mouth to me: cuz, I'm behind the camera and for those who are wondering yes, the kids are up and they're moving. You can kind of see their shadows in the dresser back there near so they're, not just unattended, setting the house on fire they're in the same room with us from there she's, just checking and making sure everything's laying right once she finds is laying right, she's gon Na comb here and there to kind of break up the look of some of the product that I put in there keep in mind if you've laid it right and you put that product in there and set it, it has memory. So, even if you comb through it remembers the way you made, it lay hey you guys so salicin back with plan fam. Thank you so much for tuning in for another wick review. Alright. So, first of all, let me just say the lace, of course, as usual is perfect, so I've got a little bit of baby hair going on here. I don't know if you guys can see that really good. Let me get closer, you guys can see really good in that part line. Okay and this one right here, I I think this one is about 20 and it feels like 30, because I'm like 410, but I think it's like 22 inches long, I'm seeing this wig is so nice. This is definitely an investment. This is something that you have for a long time. Okay, so once you get this, you don't have to keep buying anything anymore, and this color is so rich. The hair is so nice. The hair was not damaged in the coloring of this process. I mean let you guys see that a little bit you guys see that there you go and by the way I do not have the strap in the wig. It did come with a strap. Just detachable strap as well. It'S got three little sections on it, so you can make it extend it too. Okay, just in case you guys, you know, have a lot of hair or your hair is not braided down correctly or whatsoever, and it seems a little big. You can always take that out. Are you guys?
