Sis.. I Fooled Everybody With This One! V Part Wig Ft. Unice Hair

Hey guys, it's jess welcome back to my channel, so for today's video. I really want to show you guys how to make your v part wigs, look natural. So the first thing i wan na dress is no we're not starting off on freshly washed hair. We'Re just not because we're just lazy and we're gon na get to taking care of our hair later. It has the clips and the top and the front on the sides, and it has the adjustable straps in the back as well for extra security. So you can see this does not match my hair right now, but we're going to get it together and i'm starting by just hiding the braids in the back of my hair and making sure i leave a good amount of space in the top so that we Can have our hair parted and hide the tracks, so i'm just going to shove this um cap that don't match my skin, but it doesn't matter onto my head. You don't really have to do this part, but i just feel like it's nice for extra security. So my braids don't start popping out, so i'm just going to fit this right into um the v parting that i made and i really love the way it kind of hugs my head. It'S like it fits like a glove. It really does so i'm going to use the top two clips to just clip in so they're they're, nice and secure, and i will say, you're going to see in a second. I was kind of shocked with how see i was like wait. What now, how seamless it looked, i had to look up close to the mirror, like it looks, really seamless. I really do feel like you could get away with not leaving any hair out if you played with it a little, but that's not our testimony and that wasn't the plan for this video, so we're gon na go ahead and leave the leave out out and clip In the other side, so this is the texture of the afro curly wig. This is without any product. This is without it being washed or deep, conditioned or anything, even though i probably should have, but i didn't so. This is what it looks like and then i'm doing a middle part. So obviously my hair texture does not match at all, but we're going to fix that in this video, but first we're just going to start off by parting off the bottom. I'M going to do a twist out so that i can make sure that my hair and the wig hair has the same curl pattern. So i'm just using my tangle teezer to just brush through to kind of get rid of the curly curl pattern so that i can add its own curl pattern or curl texture to it. So for this twist out, i'm going to be using the stretch and define curl cream by the madame tj walker line. I'M going to do medium sized twists. I think i only did seven on each side, so i'm not doing them too small, because i don't really like the way my hair looks with tiny twists, so the bigger they are, the better the curl pattern comes out for me, so i'm making sure i have The hair just saturated in the product and i'm just brushing it through, and the natural curl pattern of this hair when it has product on it, is really really really beautiful. So i knew i wasn't gon na have a hard time, um getting it to get a good twist out. I think i could have just used water and it would have worked out fine, but yeah. I'M gon na use that and then just do twists all throughout my head. Okay, so now that we're at the top of my head, i want to make sure that my hair, besides it being very off colored gray, strands and brown strands, and all that um that it matches perfectly here, comes my husband coming up in here trying to figure Out what i'm doing, hey boo, how you doing love you so, okay, so the top of my hair, you can see it has imperfections, but i'm gon na make sure that it matches seamlessly. So i'm splitting this in half and i think one of the important parts about matching the hair is to make sure like your hair and the um wig hair, like is saturated in product and brushed together, really really well. So i'm making sure my hair is nice and wet, and then i'm going to make sure i like saturate it nicely with product and basically say the same exact thing. I just said: i'm brushing them together. I want the hair to just act like it's one. So everything i'm doing now, i want to make sure that both hairs together and that from this part, you can't even tell where it starts where it begins, where it ends. So when i begin twisting, i'm going to try to make sure the top is kind of tight, like i'm twisting it as tight as i can to make sure that the hairs are like gelling together and then towards the end. I can get a little more loose with it, but at the top i want to make sure it's nice and tight and that make sure you call the ends. You don't know how to cool the ends. So this is how it looks on this side. We'Re going to spa we're going to speed through and fast forward to that side, and then i'm going to show you again how i'm blending my hair with the wig hair just make sure it's saturated, make sure the product is nice and on there, it's brushed through Together and then i'm just going to twist down together, make sure it's nice and tight at the roots or as tight as it can be, and then make sure you coil the ends. Okay and something i wanted to point out is like already from here. You cannot see what part is my hair, and what part is the wig hair is when you put that product together, make sure you are lathering it up baby, especially if the wig hair is a little bit softer than yours, lather that thing up and make sure From the beginning that it's blending in together, because if from the beginning, you can already tell the two different types of hair going together or the two different lengths, it's going to show when you take the twists out as well. So foundation is everything. So i'm going to let these air dry overnight - and here is the next day we're going to take these out and we're going to get cute right now. It'S kind of like a helmet on my head, but we're gon na fix that i'm just gon na use some oil on my hands the same way. I would take out a twist out with my real hair, except for the fact that, with these i'm a little more rough because this curl pattern, i know it's strong enough to withhold. I don't have to like baby it the way i do baby, my real hair um, but yeah i'm just going to go through and then i'm going to separate the hair as well. And then, when you see me separating you're, also going to see that i'm kind of just running through it because, like i said with my natural hair, i'm kind of forcing it to be in a twist out pattern-like state. But with this hair it was made for a twist off, so it can. It can withhold and withstand a little bit of roughness, so i'm just going to run through it and then just start separating it. But also can we just take a minute for this definition? It looks juicy uh, yes, fantastic, okay, so i'm just gon na separate it now. So when i get to the top, i am a bit more gentle because i don't want my real hair to separate too much from the wig hair, because i want it to just kind of look seamless and look together like i literally can't see my hair at All love that very much for what we're trying to do so now, i'm looking at the hair, even though i love the curl pattern, the texture looks great. The curls look great. The the shape is not giving it's kind of just sitting flat on my shoulders. It'S not shaping my face, so i'm gon na put some scissors to it. We'Re gon na shape it up a little bit. I'M gon na cut it about an inch or two. I can't i don't really know what that is, but um also when you're cutting your hair um. When you do the first side cool. When you do the second side, you want to make sure you're starting a little bit um like lower than you need to and then make sure you can. You know trim again because if you trim too high, then you have to cut the other side again and then you just keep going back and forth. Then you're left with no hair, so just be careful when you're cutting don't get too scissor happy because then the hair is going to be up to your ears and it's not going to look good. So i'm using a mirror to check the back of my hair to make sure both sides are pretty even so, and then i'm just going to go on with shaping my face, cutting the sides using an angle at times to make sure it's shaped nicely. I'M kind of going for a little bit of more of a round shape, but um i probably could have went in a little bit more, but i didn't want to mess it up for this video, so i'm looking at it now, it's still too boxy on my Shoulders so i'm going in a little bit more with some more scissors like i said, i'm angling it to get more of a round shape and then at some point i'm like all right. This will do so. That'S pretty much it. I went in with the edge fixer i mean i really do like this edge control because it does hold my hair, but towards the end of the day, my hair starts looking a little gray and a little dusty, but if you're looking for a good hold, it'll Give you a good hold i'll, tell you that much.
