6 Years Of Retail: Episode 1/ Ft. Me Installing $21.99 Headband Wig!/Marjánalexis

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today i'm gon na be doing what everybody will wait them and i've been lagging on so yeah. So today i'm going to be telling my retail story, i'm not about to tell you um, where exactly because i'm trying to get sued but at the end of the day, y'all know who i'm talking about. They knew who i'm talking about period anyway. So today, in this story time i put this wig on um. It'S gon na be about my retail experience um, but let's dive into this here, real quick. So basically, i took out my knotless braids that it was ginger knotless, braids i'll, insert a picture so high girls coming out pop y'all [ __ ]. No one told me that i mean that should be common sense, that oil is going to make them slip out and it was starting to slip out, but i need an oil scalp. I just can't do dry scalp, but it's okay. Um april, like the beginning of april, until now, which is july 4th it's not july 4th today, but y'all get it so they lasted pretty good they last april may june about three months. I keep my braids in because in the microphone be sitting for hours, just to keep it for a couple days and me i'm very low maintenance with my hair, so yeah, and so i took them out detangled and then i uh took a shower um put conditioner In my hair, shampoo conditioned detangled um. I came off the shower and detangled again because it was just that nappy and i had a lot of excess hair, but it's okay. They were all dead hairs. So yeah. I still got my edges back. You know what i'm saying these my edges they're not going nowhere. You know and yeah, but yeah these my edges that i'm going to be just looking back outside of the headband wig, we'll see how that go. I'M not too confident because i'm not good at edges but we'll see i'm gon na get it done like re-braid it in about two and a half weeks. So i should be good but yeah. I just twisted my hair, like i twisted it right here. Well, y'all can really see the twist, but i twisted it twisted it, so it kind of stayed flat. I don't know how to french braid and then i just put them in a tight little ponytail. Sometimes i take up my hair and i'm like. Am i bald my ball? I'M not i'm not so yeah, so i was like for the meantime, i'm not going to press my hair and i'm heating it it's too hot for that and i got to pull them back. I want to go swimming whenever i want to. You know i'm saying so: um yeah, i got this headband wig. I feel like this was the most low maintenance hairstyle that i could use for the time being um. It was either this or like a vpr wig, and no one told me that people wigs are expensive and i'm good on that. So i was like. Let me get a hairband wig, that's curly, because straight synthetic hair is just not for me. This wig was 21.99. They gave me some free earrings that i can't wear, because i only wear clip on and then a free headband to go with the headband wig. So yes, i'm excited and then the link for this wig will be down below, but it's 24 inch kind of curly. It'S shining it's synthetic, but yeah. We must make it do it because most of y'all know i worked in retail or if you didn't know opportunity for six years of my life from the age of how old was i 2014 19 19 to 26.? It was. It was something it was a job. It was something, though you know so yeah, i'm not really talking about this week. I really don't know what i'm doing. I just know it came with no wig cap and i don't have a wig cap and i'm just about to put it on it's velcro, so we'll be about to see what it's giving, but i'm just about to shake out some of those curls real, quick but Yeah i worked in retail from 2014 to 2021 and for the time being, that was like my first actual job, the first one i was like doing like marketing, which i could tell a whole nother story about that. That was funny. You know what i'm saying, but this one is one that was y'all wouldn't know so yeah. I worked in retail from 2014 to 2021 and um, i'm just gon na, say retail and basically, as time went on, i realized it was just mentally draining. It was making me depressed all right: we've got a lot of shedding here. What can you expect from a synthetic wig not too much, though anyway, so um yeah? I i first worked there well, first of all, i'll get the back story. Okay, i was looking for a job for the longest before i finally got hired, and what had happened was this same place that i stayed at for that long. I literally it was like i begged them to work there, which now i'm just like looking back on. I'M like delusional, you know what i'm saying, but you know a job is a job and that's your first job real paycheck. You know so you can go to weekend so anyways um 2013. I first tried to fight there. Their automatic system was like no we're. Not accepting anyone at this time i was alright bit and then i called them all like. Can i get an interview and i was like oh well: your availability is like all over the place and i was just now going to college. So i was just like. Okay, well yeah, i'm not giving that up to go there so um that was 2013 summer and 2013 summer to 2014 summer. Your girl was broke okay first year of college. It was. It was a mess, okay and yeah. So i was like okay, whatever so i tried again summer 2014 and that's why i had no school. I have free availability. I said i was available literally 24, 7 first mistake and um yeah. They hired me and i well. They didn't their automated system rejected me again, so this one was like we held them. I called my pronouns, like you, i said i needed was availability and i got it so can i at least get an interview or something, and i was like okay, you had to come in for the interview i was like. Okay, push up so i went for the interview. First of all i remember being processed like it was yesterday um i had a long black skirt with like an off the shoulder long sleeve shirt like a chiffon material and some sandals opened up. You know i'm saying it's a retail job. Wait! It'S incorporated so hire me. You know i'm looking very much professional, so anyways. I went through three hiring people like three literally three different people to get hired at this minimum wage dollar job. Mind you minimum wage in 2014 at this job was eight dollars yeah, so i went into it and then they gave an interview with these three different people they kept asking. What do you want to work? Why do you want to work here? Why do you want to her care? I have to keep on giving this bs answer saying that i enjoy people knowing i've never been around people like that in my life um. I just wanted a job and it worked so yeah i got hurt and then is. I got hired and then um yeah making eight dollars an hour and i was like chill i was like you know, i'm chilling and everything was literally cool and mind you at this time. I literally had absolutely no responsibility to leave my responsibility like not even a phone bill, okay living large at 19., so my only thing was to make sure i had gas in my car to maintenance. My car, my parents, leave me still paying for my own insurance boy. I really do miss being a kid. I really do miss being dependent. They had to let me fly and anyway so yeah this moment i didn't have um any major bills or anything to worry about y'all. What am i doing? Let me just this is gon na go down. I'M gon na tuck all this right back in my head, but yeah i didn't have any major bills but, like i said just getting sure made sure my car had gas and maintenance on it. So i had no car note and i was rolling deep. You know so anyway, so that was my main like thing to take care of and no bills. I cared about the job, but at the same time not like i do now like i don't have anything to lose, i didn't have anything to lose. That makes sense, and what happened was i got hired. Everything was good and the first story that i can remember is well. First, my cousin worked there. First before i got hired, so i knew some of the people that he worked with um. They knew me from him, you know and um. I was like okay for sure, like this, i'm gon na be just gon na, be a breeze whatever so uh kid. You know like in my probation period, i think the probation period like um 90 days or how to work three months 90 days, the same thing, but something like that so um so yeah, my 90 day probation period was up the first sorcerer that i remember was Like my sixth month working there - and i just remember this day that i switched out my schedule with my co-worker, because i was - i wasn't supposed to be there anyway - so imagine how i'm feeling you know she had to do something i was like for sure i'll. Take it whatever and it was a friday i was off on friday, so yeah anyways i went in. I was like for sure i'll have monday off or something whatever we did to switch that day and i took her day. She took my day period, so we um switch days and just pass my probation period right. So this is like the first ever time, the first and last time that has anyone ever asked for a supervisor on me like ever so i don't know. Maybe i'm sitting on cloud9, but that wasn't gon na scare me. You know what i'm saying so and at that time, like whoever the supervisor was, he was my cousin's friend. So i wasn't even tripping like you know what i'm saying we were chilling and um. I just remember me helping like i get. First of all, i was only there one there i was opening. I was the only one i was only cashier, there didn't have cell checker at the time, so i was the only one working and i had this long line and all this stuff and then i literally i was like i told somebody i think it was like Somebody from the floor or something i was like, can they get another cashier, because i can't be doing all this by myself. Like you know what i'm saying until this day, i still feel the same way like if we all get paid to do a job, and i need help somebody gon na help me i shouldn't be working harder than you and we can pay the same amount. You know what i'm saying so i was handling whatever, and i just remember getting this one customer with her friend and she they both have like well, her friend had a lot of baby clothes. Like you know, i'm saying just a whole bunch of baby clothes, no mind you. I wish i could show you my underwear on camera, because this idiot, like i'll, get my body, for example, a newborn baby clothes, maybe not even as big as this. You know. I'M saying a whole like pants ain't, even taller than this - a newborn's clothes right. So i'm sitting here and she has all these newborn clothes and i'm sitting here scanning it whatever and like. Let'S say this is a shirt, so i take the sleeves fold it and then i fold it like this and i set it aside to bag it right. So i'm doing this all the clothes, the pants too, like just one fold over it's baby clothes like you know, i'm saying i'm not going to sit here and iron, it wash it and all that stuff. So i'm sitting there, i put it to the side after i folded in my way and mind you when i got hired, they said we had full clothes. This thing, the dry cleaners, if you have a problem with the way i'm putting my clothes or the way you i'm holding your clothes, come over here and phone them yourself. I don't get paid enough care, so anyways and i don't have attitude enough. I'M saying like hey how you doing all this stuff have their customer service always has always will always been like that. It'S gon na stay like that, so i'm sitting here, folding it and i put it to the side, i'm just folding clothes, i'm like good. A good three full bags in right, a whole bunch of clothes, like you know, i'm saying just a whole bunch of clothes, so her total come out is like 200, but i'm in the middle of holding her clothes, and i get some shoes, i'm done from the Clothes why the friend that's not even buying anything she comes around and she was like. Oh no. This is how you fold the clothes, and i was like excuse me because i literally had to figure out who she was talking to or what she was talking about and she was like, and i was like excuse me and she was like this - is how you Fill the clothes and i was like yeah, but because i'm sitting here confused because i don't know what i'm like it's closed, like you know what i'm saying so and like that baby clothes, i'm pretty sure no one's worried about your baby that came and walk. They close me and wrinkly and if they are so, would i don't like. I said i don't care this ain't, the dry cleaners, so she started taking a lot of bad shoes like this. How you fold your clothes at home - and i was like it sure, is at this point. I got that too. I was like. I don't really care. I got ta lose if i get first. So what my 30 days is up, though, like my my probation period is up, so i was like okay here we go, because if you want to get attitude, i'm a good attitude right back. I can control myself only to here and if you keep on going higher than that, i don't care. If i'm at work school church, you gon na get these hands verbally. So i'm sitting there and i'm looking at her and she's looking at me and she starts taking stuff out the way she's like oh yo, you need to fold these again and i was like okay i'll hold them. She had them all unfold took it back, photo exactly how i folded them the first time and i put them back in the bag. So i was like we're not about to do this right here, yeah she's, just like no! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No - and i was like you should show - i was like okay, so i just i continue bringing this stuff up because you're holding up my line at this point because your clothes not folded, so i just need to roll her up whatever her friend up she's, not Even buying the clothes, her friend didn't say nothing about the clothes not being folded and it was her clothes let that sink in and if you're watching this. I hope you're right in hell anyway back to the story, because you were just starting stuff for no reason, and now i'm not there meet me there. So we can fight anyway, because you're gon na remember who you are once i get to the end of the story, so anyways, i'm sitting here and i start bringing her stuff up and i didn't put nothing in the bag this time i didn't fold nothing nothing. I just put them to the side, so i was like because she got a problem without photo. She got a problem way, i'm doing stuff, then she could fold them and put in the bag herself yeah, because she's sitting there - and i was like since you're sitting there not doing like you just complaining about how i'm doing stuff, but i'm not going to change It you do it like, you know what i'm saying so i was like for sure. So i'm just putting herself to the side and she's like. Are you not gon na put in the bag, and i was like no, you can't. I was like you can and she's like. Oh no, no, i need your manager. I was like for sure, and i could see her stuff up because i don't have a phone near me. I don't have a walkie. Nothing like you know what i'm saying nothing. This ain't, the grocery store, it's a retail store. I don't have my own phone. I have my own walkie, i'm just cashier. I just work here mm-hmm, so i'm just looking her stuff up. I was like i'll get a manager for you in a second, so i'm waiting for somebody to come back by my register, so they can walk you. So i'm right now, i'm still bringing this stuff up because multitask hello, you know what i'm saying you got food behind you. I don't care how much of attitude you got. I got other people to help, so i'm sitting here and i bring her stuff up and then she's like she's like are you gon na get the manager, and i was like yeah yeah, so i keep bringing herself up. But at this point she's provoking my john and i'm gon na have any you know what i'm saying so, i'm just i'm just gon na keep doing my john's job. You know what i'm saying do what i got ta. Do i see the security walking towards me. So i was like for sure i just asked him to walk him and she's like hello. Are you gon na get the manager? And i was like hello? I am. I was like yeah because i was like yeah. We could test them mm-hmm at this point and she was like i was like yeah. You want hot breath, but it's not happening today ever with me, so i was like hey. Can you get the manager because she has a problem with the way i'm putting her clothes in front of her don't care? And then i was like okay, i'm going to continue to bring these clothes up while the manager comes and helps you. Thank you and i kept running my clothes up and a time of like of a heated conversation or like a heated situation. I don't drop the ball, i'm gon na say it's gon na keep rolling until i stop anyway. So i'm sitting there rolling like bringing up her clothes and the manager comes. He was like yeah. Do you wanted me? I was like she had a problem with the way my clothes would be a photo. Oh no. Her friends closed me unfolded, and i made that clear in front of everybody and he was like okay step over here and she had like a separate transaction. So she brought herself over there and i heard her talking whatever she's like well yeah. She needs to go home early because i guess she had an attitude i was like. I hope i can't, because you know i do want to go home early. You just ruined it today and i got a whole four more hours to go so yeah. If i can that'll be awesome, if i can that's fine too you're the only one person that's going to do this to me today. I promise you that so he ring herself up hear what she got to say whatever. So i get to the end of the friends: build that's just sitting there, smirking looking at me or whatever rolling her eyes. I guess she got attitude now because she looks a fool. Her friend looks like full, and i don't know if she was embarrassed by a friend or embarrassed that i was going to go off. My friend. Don'T know don't care so get the bill come out like 200, something dollars. That'S a little bit about the total immediately. I'Ve been working there long enough. I knew this wasn't gon na go through. She was about to use a check, i'll go okay! Here we go here, we go here. We go okay. This is my time to shine, so the friend finally done confessed to my manager. Whatever she had to say she comes back over just in time. I put the check through the machine, i immediately say sorry can't be accepted. I took it out. I was like this check cannot be accepted. It says you ain't got no money on it. I sure did i know you can't ever know when you want to check but yeah it says check the decline. Do you have another form payment and her friend was like um? No, no, i don't have another form of payment, the one i was buying the clothes and then her friend was like what do you mean not going through and i was like it says right here on the screen and i turn the screen towards her friend. That wants to be all up in everybody's business now about to embarrass you and your friend. I said it says right here on the screen that the check cannot be cashed and she's like well. Do you have a versatility? I was like it's a bank across the street. If you've got money in the bank, you can go say it out over there. Yes, i did, i sure, did - and i guess just those beers to embarrassed enough. They was like okay. Well, just put myself on hold. I'M gon na be right back. I was like an hour later. They come back, know what they had to do. I don't know if they had to go. Send those to the workers figure no judgement here, but i just knew you. Ain'T had no money when you had to pay, but you was yapping yapping yep next time, you're gon na be happy after that make sure you got the money to talk with you brokenness anyway, so she come back with her friend and she's. Like i got the i got the money now and i was like okay well you're gon na give me a second and i'm gon na finish ringing up my customer, i'm about to stop just because you came back with your money now mm-hmm, so i could just Ring it up to people and i'll bring her stuff up. Nigel, her stuff is sitting on the floor at this point, so she put her cash in she can know. She give me cash and i was like great because now i don't got to go through the whole thing. I'M telling you that your card declined awesome, i'm glad you came with cash, so i made sure that her 20s was real and i'll put them up each one to the light. So i was like i don't know you know what i'm saying you broke. So let me make sure you give me no fake money and i checked them all to the light all cinnamon yeah and then wait is that right, yeah five, twenty megaton uh honey they do anyway. So it went like the cash i put the gas through and i was like okay have a great day and then her friend was like you know. I'M gon na pick up my clothes and i was like. Oh yes, i picked up her clothes and threw it on the thing i was like have a good one, because we're gon na keep it classy, but at the same time you're never gon na disrespect me never and i'll put this wig on just in time, because You see how i'm bobbing and leaving now. Let me tell you something: this is synthetic but boy. This is what i've been wanting like the edges, ain't that snatched but they'll do they'll do like. I said i'm just wearing it for this video and i'm taking it right off, because i'm about to be whipping this wig for a good. How many weeks i said like two and a half weeks, yeah a brand new girl, a brand new girl. Let me get some slow-mo crane, so they leave whatever and then my manager came over. He was like what happened and i was like she was mad because i want to fold her clothes right last time. I checked we're not a dry cleaner. I was never trying to fold clothes, that's why i didn't fold them and while i didn't fold them, she had attitude and the funny thing is the funny thing is i told myself i told my manager at the time i was like the funny thing. Is it wasn't even her clothes and he was like oh okay and he walked off? Oh okay, so have you seen this girl? You tried it but not hard enough. What'Ll, you say get yourself up and try again with your birthday yeah. She says. Oh, my dad. Listen next time, if you guys want to hear more retail story times or my six years of experience, i definitely have more. They get better and better over time, but yeah. This is the synthetic wig. If you guys have any questions, comments or concerns hit. My line now, the one thing i will say about this is shiny and it's synthetic. So i don't know how long it's going to stay. Curled, it's not a wavy, no sitting wave. I don't think it can't be right. I don't know but anyways. I love it. Even though well be careful with it or you could do half up half down, okay, a bunch y'all see me do the better at the beginning, but you just do a bun at the top. I kind of want to take like two pieces out right right here and go under the headband and like heaven. Let me see y'all can see my vision. Don'T do too much of that pulling synthetic like i want to have i'm hungry, i'm gon na get some trolling after this i'll edit this video boy. What is that but anyways? This is gon na, be under the headband and like two in the front, and then i'm gon na wear some hoops, because i feel, like that's gon na, be looking quick computer. But two in the front like underneath the headband, though showing something like this and some hoop earrings anyways. I think this is like a real cute wig. I suggest you purchase it because look at it, it's gon na do what you got ta do you know they do [ __ ] though, but for twenty one dollars. I ain't, i ain't mad, i don't care, but yeah. You get some hearings and all that and another thing: if you go with curly, then you ain't got to really worry about like like. I said this would look like a lazy girl hack. You ain't going to worry about doing your um, your like your hair flat to your head. Like i said i did a bun back here. You can't see it and then i twist it and my hair is poofy so yeah and you can't tell because it's curly now, if you like, maintaining straight synthetic hair, go for it. I'M not, though this is just right for me. Oh yeah, the blackstone a little bit, but i really don't care, i don't care. I know my people don't know that it's not my hair, maybe the other people are not gon na notice. My hair, i really don't care, though, as long as i look cute to me. That'S all that matters anyways.
