Hey y'all, i'm new to youtube. My name is my first video i'm going to be doing my hair and my makeup in this video. Well, it's going to be a two-part series, video and also, let me just warn y'all about the lighting now, like i don't know, what's up the lighting, it actually looks. I don't know just weird. I don't look like myself honestly um, like skin wise. Like my skin tone, it looks weird even my hands right now, look weird, but oh well, some mama's um. My kids have me all over the place in this video. Like listen, i'm trying it's only gon na get better from here. If you like this book, keep on watching and watch the other video after you're done watching this one see i'm new to all this, i'm still looking over here, because i'm talking to y'all, you know just bear with me. If you have any tips for me or anything as a new youtuber comment down below, i'm always open to um receiving tips, you know i'm always willing to learn more. So i already went ahead and cut my wig off camera. It was originally a 12 inch um bob and i cut it to like a 10 inch bob and now i'm just adding my foundation color inside of the lace and also on the outside and a little bit back on the hairline, but not too much on the Hair just to give it like a blur effect, then i went ahead and um sprayed the lace with the trespain holding spray just to seal the um foundation in and then i took my andis um hot comb, it's the best hot home. Ever you can get on amazon, i'm gon na link it below, and you know, just put the hair back on backwards. So when it's time to like put the lace down in the glue it doesn't, the hair doesn't get into the glue. Then the install becomes really messy and then you know you add time to your whole install process. You have to clean up and yada yada. You don't want to do that. So now, i'm just trying to see like exactly where i want to place my lace. My head is shaped weird, so i can't have it too like backwards, and i can't have it too forward because i don't know when it's too far it just doesn't look right to me. Let'S go backwards just so, i'm just like you know, seeing exactly. I want to place it and i'm cutting off my ear tabs, because it makes the install way easier. Listen really. It really does like. I never used to do this, but once i started doing it, it made my install process way easier and then also cutting the lace into like sections really helps. I went ahead and cleaned my forehead off with the 99 alcohol. Just so i could get like all the moisturizer i applied earlier to my face. So now i'm going in with my go spawn glue. I add three layers to each sections: um, the first two layer i wait till it like turns completely clear, and then i add the other, but for the last layer which is the third layer i um waited till like it was like almost clear, but not all The way clear, like just a little bit of white left and then i'll apply my on my lace and just comb through with like a small toothed comb like i'm doing in the video, and i did that to like each section when you're placing your lace down. Don'T put it like exactly on top where you place the glue um, bring it like a little bit forward because, what's gon na happen, um when you start to cut - and you know like tie it down and you know, stop melting, it's gon na, like pull back A bit - and you don't want that look or the glue is gon na be exposed more than you want it to be exposed. You could definitely fix it with some alcohol, but you don't want to do that and you have to re-melt it again like that's annoying. So yeah just make sure that you pull your lace like a bit forward and then you can always go back and add more glue, so um. If you're like me, when you're adding the glue and you get a little bit on the lace, just use the same. Um edge edge brush that you're using the comb, the small comb or even if you have a small um tooth comb, usually just comb through the lace, and i promise you the glue is just going to go clear. It'S going to disappear, you will not see it, but it's just it. Listen. If you leave it on that lace and then you apply it. Sometimes it leaves like a white dot and you don't want that. I just went in with my blow dryer, so i could go ahead and you know just speed up the process for the last section and i'm now using my andis hot comb again, i am using it this time, so i i feel like it melts the glue. A little bit more into the skin, i burnt myself before you tie it down with the elastic band. So it's time for my favorite part, so i have to pin my hair back, so it doesn't like get into the elastic band. Yes, this is my favorite part. The milk is gon na, be real. Okay, if you don't have an elastic band. Why not get you one? Okay, this listen! I will not do my install if i don't blow dry blow dry blow dry. I blow dried, my hair for about 15 minutes. First, on hot, like go as hot as you can, go, then with cool, so it can lock. The glue in this right here is my favorite wax sticks, it's the shea bomb on wax. Stick, i try other ones, but i don't know that just don't work. For me, so i'll just always just go back to that one, and then i use my hot comb with it. Listen that wax stick and hot comb. Well yeah. This wax thick and hot comb perfect together, perfect together, like it just make it look more flawless, don't come for my hawk, my um. My flying do not come for my flats iron, okay! Yes, i'm talking about my own flat iron in the video, but do not. I had this fire for over six years. Yes, i said it six years. Okay, it's time to get another one, i'm gon na get another one know suck that thing out with some um biosil do not repeat, do not use the regular combs to fly on your hair. It will burn okay, use a carbon fiber comb. They sell it at the local, owned hair stores. Now this thing was giving me a headache i was just like. Why am i having a headache i put it too tight, but if you can keep it on until you're done flying your hair go ahead and do so okay, the longer the better? I can do it, but i'm in love. Look at me! Yes, now i'm just finishing up the rest of my hair flat ironing it out. It was my freaking ears. This is why i don't really win part in the middle, so i forgot i haven't worked partly, but in a long time now, it's time to cut the lace. Yes, i'm using my regular razor from the hair store they're like normally three for a dollar or four for a dollar depending on the hair. So you go to when, when you're cutting your lace, you don't want to just go straight across like you. Don'T want to do that. You want to go like in a jagged motion like zigzag motion up and down whichever you you pleased to say, so it could like give an illusion that it's your skin, you know it's not lace, then like i was saying um before then you can go ahead And um, you know, apply more glue to the parts of the lace that are still up so yeah. Don'T panic! Yes, i know the lace is still a tad bit lighter than my um. Then my forehead, i have a tan so like the foundation that i did use is what i normally use, but i got burnt. I was in florida and i was in a pool and all that wow um you right here, i'm just adding a darker foundation to the lace, because you can still see the little white cast to it and that look is not cute. Okay, i actually use a smaller brush, but this is what i had in reach. So yeah. If you have a smaller brush, you definitely use a smaller brush and then you can go in with some alcohol to take off the um. The makeup that went on top of the hair trust the process. It may look like ashy, but after i'm done adding what i need to add to it later on in the video you're gon na see just just watch. So now i'm just you know taking out my baby hair, it's definitely optional. If you don't want baby hairs, then all you'd have to do is like spray, the hairline, with like the holding spray of your choice, my holding spray um that i use so my um. My hairline is the tresemme volume three then on side down and like maybe sit underneath the hooded dryer or the handheld dryer for like 15 minutes. This part is optional. Just you know, take the brush that you used earlier and just tap it in the part that you part out for your baby hair. You don't have to add, but i recommend you not to add any more foundation or concealer to it, because it's going to look all cakey and then maybe you know it's going to lift your your lace even faster packing all that product in there so just use Whatever is less like leftover on the brush, now i'm twisting my baby hairs down. You can pat it down twist it on whatever, because i'm going to um to spray my holding spray now and then put my elastic band back down. This step definitely does make a difference um because, as you seen earlier, like it, the lace appeared ashy looking but spraying the holding spray on it and tying it down. It'S going to melt it even more into your skin. Now, i'm just making sure that my baby hairs are completely out of the way and completely flat. So when i take um the band off - and i start to you know - form them in the way. I want them they're completely flat and easy to manage and i normally blow dry um. My hair, like this part of it um for about 10 minutes 5 to 10 minutes, honestly, not too long, because the holding spray dries pretty fast. I got my elastic band at my local joanns. I ordered um the elastic band from amazon before as well i'll leave a link below for um both places, i'm just trying to get this wig as flat as possible because, like i said i don't know if i said it earlier, but i have a hump head And this was a 13 by four. I prefer the 13 by six um because it goes further back and it doesn't show my hump hand too much if that makes sense. So i went in with my tweezers to thin my babies, my baby hair, my baby's hair. My baby hairs out just a bit because i want a more natural look. I don't want the really big bulky baby hairs. I don't know, i just don't think it would look cute with this hairstyle. So what i did was curl one piece. First, like one side, and then i cut it to see exactly where i wanted to stop, and i did the same thing for the other side: um the same length for the other side and then later on in the video you're going to see that i go In with my small flat iron to curl my baby hairs just to um, you know put them in a direction that i want them to go in. It makes it easier to lay baby hairs. I wish i was doing this before in the past, because i don't know i i will go like right through the whole hairstyle and once it gets to the baby hairs. It takes me like a freaking hour and that used to piss me off. It used usually piss me off. I'M not gon na lie so now, with the with the whole curling the baby hair trend, and then you know swooping it it works, but sometimes the baby hairs be stubborn. I don't know, i think it's it'd be the hairs. That'S on the wigs like, maybe if the wig is not so good or something like it, just won't work like that. You got to add like a little bit of holding spray or some spritz or gel. I like using the um the eco styling gel because it doesn't get the baby hair too hard and crunchy. I don't know about y'all, but for me i can never just do my baby hair soup, one time and like it. I have to keep on playing with it for me to like it, and if i don't like it, i'm gon na keep going until i like it mmm. If you made it this far in my video, you should already be subscribed, or do it now, like my video and comment, what you like, what i'm doing in the video or what you don't like, or what you think i should be doing different. You know just yeah and also i'm gon na be having a giveaway. I know it's really soon, but this is just for me personally because i'm just so happy like. I have been wanting to start a youtube channel for years and i finally did it and doing it. You know i have other videos coming out, so you will know um what the giveaway is so turn your notifications on. So you can, you know, be one of the first ones to see the video and have a better chance of winning what i'm giving away, who don't like free stuff who don't like free stuff and i'm not just giving away just a regular declaration stuff. I'M gon na give away something that we all want and we all like now, spray it with your favorite holding spray and then take a black strip, a white strip, whatever strip you um, you have and tie it down before you um, you put your elastic band Back over it, that's if you put your elastic band um back over over at this point, i do i like the results that i get when i do that, so i do it and if you want the same results, you should do it too. I'M just saying for the black strip: they have it in white as well, but i like the black one and they also have one that comes in a box and one that comes like with a paper wrapped around it. I don't like the one with the paper wrapped around it. I like the one in the box, that's the one i'm using right now. I feel like it's thicker and i don't know it'll rip as easy as the one that has a little plastic over it um. I think amazon have them as well, so if you are getting it try to get the one that's in the box, so now i just went ahead and removed the elastic band, and now i'm cutting the black strip off um my baby hairs. You got to be careful when you're, taking the black strip off or whatever you use to tie your baby hair is down with be careful with the black strip. What i would recommend i just learned this um from another youtuber just to like wet a piece of cotton ball or um q-tip and tap it not too much just tap it, and it will come right up now, i'm just using my holding spray in a nice Soft brush, listen, the soft brush, listen, it will change your life, i'm so greedy. Look at me! So here i go with the darkness: hot, come again trying to flatten this poor wig out, forgetting that it's my ears, not the wig but, like i don't know, i think i said it um in the beginning of the video. I have not worn a middle part in such a long time, i'm always wearing side parts, and i don't know i just wasn't feeling the middle part. Look on me because of my ears, maybe with some like big hair, like maybe curls or so maybe i'll like a middle part. Again, oh, but she is melted. Do you guys see that do y'all see that or is it me? Is it me, do y'all see that melt? Oh, my gosh, but i'm sorry to tell y'all. I went ahead and changed my hair to what you see at the beginning of the video. So it is a part two to this video. So if you want to see how i got that look stay tuned, i'm going to be uploading that video um real soon you
