Paula Young Wig Review Becky In Tuscany Toast | Lace Front Mono Part Wig

Hello, this is emily welcome to my channel here. It'S a wonderful wig, where i help normalize wig wearing for women for fun, fashion and freedom. So today i'm going to review for you something brand new i just got. This is becky by paula young and i actually got this on amazon because uh there are a few wig shops that sell through amazon and i'll talk about that briefly. First, if you're wondering what i'm wearing today, this is pixie this in black by gabor essentials, um gabor essentials, which is gabor's basic cap line. I purchased this off of hsn. I do have a review where i reviewed three black to dark brown wigs by gabor. I think - and i did include this one and i will see if i can find that and link it below. I did that months ago, um. So today i am just kind of in the tropical mode. It'S humid today and i have the black in my tropical outfit, so i wanted to put on something black and short and cool um. I uh you know my whole life. I'Ve always wanted short hair. At the same time, i always was trying to grow my hair long, because i wanted long hair and most people most women will not cut their hair super short because they know how many years it'll take to grow back. I mean three to four years just to get it maybe shoulder length. So you know, as you get older, you don't have that many years left to grow your hair long. So the benefit of wigs is that you can get your short pixie styles and put it on whenever you want, and there is no commitment at all. So if you want um, if you're gon na be somewhere warm or hot or on vacation or you're gon na be cleaning, the garage or you're gon na be painting the house, and you want hair out of your face out of the way, which is what i'm Doing today, because i'm doing a whole bunch of projects, you can go with something short and take it off at the end of the day and you're back to having medium length or long hair or whatever it is. You have underneath so anyway pixie this bike aboard essentials. So let's talk about paula, young's wig, the color i have here is called tuscany toast, the actual name of it, which is not on the box. But the number is 10 26 number six. But if you go to uh paul young's website or anywhere to purchase this wig becky, it is uh called tuscany toast and it is a color that has some brown under layers with some blonde um woven in and we'll talk. We'Ll look at that shortly and paula young is a budget-friendly wig, similar to gabor essentials or similar to hairdo, but i actually like them a little bit more. I like her a little bit more. I have a few. I was very surprised: the first paul young wig that i received. I love the pink boxes compared to like main attraction, for example, that has basic white boxes and no designer pattern on it. This one particular is a shorter length, curly wavy style, and it's a monofilament top. So just to give you the specifics: um, it's paula, young's whisper, light technology which um it's a little different than what i have here. But but we'll talk about that when i get it on um, sultry curly, wig, with a lace front and monofilament part. So even though it's basic, it actually has the features of some of the more expensive wigs with the lace from the monofilament. But for a budget price i think his wig was like 99 or something like that - sometimes 110 about equivalent of hairdo prices or gabor essential prices, um bouncy collar length, layers of lightly tousled spiral. Curls give this on trend, curly bob wig, so much sultry sassy appeal. I don't really consider a bob because a little longer than that to me super light baby, fine whisper light fibers make the wig so comfortable and lightweight. You won't even feel like you're wearing it. This is true from the one time i tried it on the sheer lace: front features individually hand, tied fibers, creating the illusion that hair is growing from your scalp. The sides are eight inches seven inches at the nape ten inches in length. The front is nine inches. Um - and this is a little bit longer than a similar style by paul young called merle or merrell merrell, like meryl streep, which it looks very similar but a little bit shorter um and i don't have a description of the color. But we'll just have to look at it and talk about it. I can take off my glasses now because i'm no longer reading. So let's take a look there's. It comes, of course, in the hair net, which i've already removed, and here is the tag i just received this yesterday, so it has the color on here comes in this beautiful box. This reminds me quite a bit of the color that is of um gosh. Is it buttered toast? I think it's? Is it raquel welch that does better the color butter toast? I think it's raquel welch, but i have um yeah or there's also a honey toast butter toast. But this color reminds me a little bit of that see what i mean. It'S not quite the bob right, it's a little bit longer than that, but you see the sort of a little bit medium brown, not super dark, but dark enough brown roots. That goes to a little lighter and then the whole body is a light brown under layers, these gorgeous bouncy curls, and then you have. The blonde highlights gold, a little platinum. So it's very natural. There are several gradient tones of blondes overlaying, the brown. So i feel it's really natural. This is not a wig. I would put any product on ideally or touch or brush out. If you brush it out. I don't know how these curls are going to hold up and i don't want to find out um. I know if you wash it in cold water, any apollo, young, wigs, pat dry, shake shake shake it out, it'll bounce back to what it is equivalent if any of them come a little more loose than you like spray it with a mist bottle. So here is that lace, front monofilament, part um, the becky, um, sorry polly young, wigs are a little. The lace front is a little rough, definitely a little rough and tacky almost um. So if you have a bare scalp, it might be uncomfortable, but if you have hair or a cap no problem, the rest is that um normal basic cap construction and in the back we have the velcro adjusters again i have a large head, not huge. It'S 23 inches circumference, but it's the normal um every other inch. So so i'm able to generally wear most average cap wigs most especially if they have that stretch. Let'S just shake it get out some of loosen it a little. Let'S remove pixie. This have everything up under here and we're going to put on becky. Now here's a warning: this product cannot be removed. If you take off the tag, i'm not planning on removing it, so i'm sorry returning it so i'm taking off the tag, because i do love this wig and i'll talk about my purchase in a moment. Let'S put this on. Okay, we're gon na adjust the ear tabs. I mean it's a little snug, but i have a lot of hair so, but i'm just pushing down a little bit my braid, underneath through the open wefts here adjusting. Let'S pull this up to the hairline a little. It'S really pretty it's cute and pretty i really like it. I think it's adorable, not exactly a short bob. As you can see, the color is very natural for me as a brunette um. I think it's a little bit of a warmer tone, but i have more sort of. Let me have a lot of um, more bronze makeup on today, but overall i have a neutral skin tone, so i can do cool and warm, but it is just soft. It'S soft, it's silky, it's not dry, i'm trying not to touch it too much! It'S lightweight, and it's really true. I don't feel like i'm wearing a wig other than this piece right here. It'S getting in my face, um. I don't feel that at all. So if you can see um these curls, i just did a review three reviews that i haven't posted. Yet i did it like a week ago of three different curly style. Wigs. I should have included that, and that was i think, it's like modern coils or something um. My hairdo was a hairdo, a couple of modern coils in two different colors, including a bright curly, red um. Then so there was um. I also did jon renau's new curly. One alana alana and also did this um gabors. It was like a light: strawberry blonde, a bigger curl, tight, curl, more kind of 1980s style. What was it called motivation, so i did four three videos. One of them included two colors in the modern coil. So i was going to post my series of three curly wigs um the next weekend, so i need to i need to go in there and there's like a little bit of stuff. I need to do to get them ready, but um, so this would be another curling style. I would recommend in addition to that, but anyway, you can see, see how and i have a lot pretty long face and it's coming just just touching my shoulders. So this is particularly nice if you're trying to cover up anything um, it's not really in my face. It is a left side part. I don't like left side parts because of my bad eye, my lazy eye, so i generally prefer right side parts that go this way, but often they don't do that as in this one. So what i generally do, i don't think i brought here, but i will generally take this flop piece and put it like this put a little bobby pin right there. Now it's not hitting my my dominant vision, eye um and i think that still looks pretty natural. It'S not giving away any of the hairline you could you could. I would be very careful just hold it by the straighter part. You could put the clip right here, the bobby pin or if you want to maintain the privacy of the hairline, keep it loose. So it's still covering it and just pull this part back like this. You can also put on headband uh very gently between the curls, which kind of tuck this little piece under the headband strip right there. So it's not so cute. I just really love it. Here'S a close look at it, so the dark rooting is natural. I think the hairline is really natural. Of course my glasses are off now, so i might be showing a little bit of my hair, so it might be back a little too far um, but it is not budging. You know. If you have any hair, you have those the wig grips, especially when i put the snap clips into my hair into the velvet with grip going this way. It'S not budging, so you can't see your earrings as well, because it's a little bit longer, so you could also put that peeps back and this piece back. So you have two cute little pieces like that. So that's definitely a possibility like this, but you can shake it out, loosen it up. So i actually i'll be completely honest here. I'M considering this wig cost me only like a hundred dollars. Maybe it was a 110, but it's on sale. I like this better than jon renau's elana, which was several hundred dollars, and i think alana's is correct. Right, that's from the new spring 2020 line. I like this better, it's lighter it looks more natural um you'll have to compare this to the reviews, be sure to come back next friday or saturday when i'm going to post all my curly wig reviews um. So i like this better and i love john. I saw my jon renau's wig, don't get me wrong and i certainly do like lana, but i really feel like this. One is just natural and pretty and a very nice very nice for a brown base, um, not sure if it goes with my outfit so well. I generally would wear a black like i was wearing or a light like cool blonde with all the white leaves in my tropical top, but that is paula, young um again the color, it's tuscany, toast becky or 1026 number. Six and again i got this on amazon. Be careful if you buy wigs on amazon, i don't do it often. I generally do it for ones. I can't find on wigs.com, which is my favorite um on amazon. They, actually, you can pay with a firm just like you can on wigs.com, which is um, which is a loan where you can buy um. If you have a few higher end items over over a couple hundred dollars got about like three weeks on amazon, you can pay with a firm when you check out and it'll, give you like an option. Six months, no interest, maybe 12 months or like 30 a month for four weeks or whatever. So i like that um, but be careful when you buy a wig on amazon, because i had one horror story of a wig i bought on amazon, which i think i talked about in a video which was um hollywood. I believe so uh, but be careful make sure you look at um, you scroll a little bit down to the price. It'Ll generally say: ships from you know, vera, wigs or where it's actually coming from make sure it seems like it's a real wig shop, not just like uh, you know, consignment shop or like a where i got mine was a general store somewhere that doesn't specialize in Wigs, so a lot of private wig shops all around the country may also sell their wigs on amazon, so it is possible and make sure they have return policies as well um, so just be careful - and i just put in amazon, i put in paula, young becky And i think it was the fir there was only one seller that had this one um and they had just a few different colors.
