Jon Renau Minka- Caramel Ribbon 6F27 | Wig Review | Full Mono Top, Lace Front, Wavy Shoulder Length!

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is denise, i'm also known as heywig sister on instagram and facebook. Today, i'm here with a wig review for you. I have on john renaud minka in the color 6f20, which is also known as caramel ribbon. John renault minka. I have never seen minka before and so really really excited to bring this one to you, so that you and i can see her together. So this minka was donated to me by a wig sister, so i don't have an out of the box for her because this didn't come to me brand new, but she has never been modified or worn. So i'm able to review her for you. Let'S take a look at minka from all sides and then i will talk about minka i'll. Tell you all about her features. I'Ll show you! The cap, we'll also go outside to see this color caramel ribbon. Minka has long flowy waves, so she's not really curly, but she definitely is wavy big, loose relaxed waves and layers. So definitely for my long-haired girls, who, like a good head of hair minka, is just beautiful and luxurious so, like i said, she's a little bit longer and she has all of these big waves. So it's like, you took a giant barreled, curling iron and you put some waves in and then you combed them out, so that they were just slightly tossled and wavy. That'S what she has and she definitely has a lot of super long layers. You can see that here long long layers, the one thing that makeup really doesn't have, though, is permatease. I am not feeling poofy pillowy permatease anywhere on this cap i'll. Take the cap off and kind of dig in there and see, if maybe she has some crimpy fibers, but as far as poofy pillowy permatease goes, there is none. So if you like yourself a longer wig that i mean she's, definitely i would say a higher density. She'S got a good amount of hair, but if you just don't like that, poofy pillowy permatease, the big poofy look on top. You don't like to feel the permatease. Then minka could be a good one for you, because she just doesn't have that. She has a long layer in the front you can see now you could cut a bang into this because of the way the waves kind of go on the end. If you cut a bang in this, i think she would lay just fine for you. So if you like bangs, you could definitely consider cutting a bang, she does have a lace front and a full mono top. Let'S take a look at that lace front right there. I'D say they did really great with the knotting on this one. So you have the ability to pull her off your face, no problem whatsoever, and you don't have to worry about that knotting and with that full mono top. You can part her anywhere. So right now she came with sort of a left of center part. But if you wanted to do a center part or right part, a deeper part, you could do all of that. This cap is fitting me really large um, you know, jon renau tends to run pretty true to average and i do get a lot of extra cap and jon renau up here, because i am a 22 inch circumference, so my circumference is average, but all over the Top of my head, i'm extremely petite child size, even um, and so i find that average sized caps sometimes fit me really big over the top of my head just when they fit my circumference. This one fits me bigger than most jon renau wigs. I have a lot of cap here, super stretchy - i didn't take this one in, but i feel the need to to make it secure so big, head friendly, i'm going to give a thumbs up for that. I do think this one is big head friendly, not average petite friendly. I don't think unless you want to modify which you can sew wefts together and things like that, the coverage these ear tabs come way down um. I i've got an incredible coverage on this. I mean it just this cap fits me. Big everywhere comes all the way down in front of my ears, covering it doesn't cover my ear, but it's way in front of my ear. The top of my ear is up here. You can see that difference um. So if i were to do updos with this one, i'm gon na have good coverage, which is excellent for that, but i'm gon na struggle um just with how low it is over here, i'm it's almost over my ears. It'S just really fitting me big compared to other jon renau wigs. I find that super interesting. So let me show you this cap, so we've got the full mono, like i said, the lace front, bendable, ear tabs extended, nape, velcro adjusters, really standard jon renau cap. So let me take a look inside here, so definitely no poofy pillowy permatease at all, i'm not even seeing crimpy fibers. This is i'm going to tell you this is permatease free, so it's got a good hair volume, though so, keep in mind. It'S not low density, but it definitely doesn't have permatease. So rejoice if you hate permatease - and you like styles like this, because you got one right here, so she's just really uh pretty easy to wear. I would say the fibers feel a little on the drier side. They'Re, not you know, super shiny or anything like that. Um, you know just kind of a standard, jon renau, i would say so. If you're looking for something that's pretty flat, pretty low profile, i mean it does have a lot of hair. So i want to stress that there's it's thick there's a lot of hair down here. So if you wanted to wear her like, if you wanted to throw her back in a ponytail, you sure could and you just pull a little bit of hair down in the front. That'S you know one of the things i look for in long. Wigs like this is their kind of updo potential, and so i definitely think this type of a style has updo potential, because you've got the layers and you always want to be able to pull some forward to kind of hide where your cap, the cat, meets your Head but then it gives that ponytail nice volume because of the layers and the waves, so i definitely think she has updo potential, so i'm gon na get outside and show you this cap outside, but the bottom line, i'm finding. If you guys can hear my dog, i apologize i'm home alone and he's outside begging me to come. Let him in right now i'll go save him in just a second um, but my bottom line is for for a wig like this. I definitely think she has a potential for those who, like good volume and no permatease, if, on the other hand, you don't always appreciate a lot of volume down here and having it be really flat on top, you might be missing some of that permatease because you're, Not getting any volume up here, there's nothing, no permatease to give you volume any volume. You'Re seeing right now is just due to the fact that has a good amount of hair, um really uh. I know minka is a favorite. I know people love makeup. So if you really think it's kind of sexy hair in a lot of ways, the way it frames the face the way these waves fall, so it could definitely be like date, night hair. If your husband loves you in or boyfriend or whatever loves you in longer, hair mine doesn't so this wouldn't be one of his favorite styles, all right guys i'll get outside for you. I love the color caramel ribbon. Just the blend of the dark, the rich dark of the six with the 27, which is like a an auburn strawberry blondish, is so pretty, let's get out in the sun. It'S super windy out here. I can't see my screen at all in this sunlight, so i'm trusting that i'm getting it for you definitely a highlighted color. You can see, there's contrast for sure it's not rooted technically, but because of that six and it's a little darker. I don't think it really needs that rooting one of my favorites. I do love this color a lot. I have ignite in this color. I actually just recently did a color spotlight on this color, where i show how it looks in a heat friendly which ignite is in a synthetic which minka is and a human hair. It'S very different in all three colors, so go check out that color spotlight. If you love this color and you would ever consider getting any of those other hair, fibers or maybe you already have ignite - go see how i compare ignite in this one, the colors aren't exactly the same.
