Wig Review: "Carrie Lite" By Jon Renau -- Smart Lace 'Lite' Collection | Chique

Hi everyone, it's amanda with chaquel here and i'm really excited to show you today, one of jon renau's, wigs from their smart lace, light collection. So here i have carrie light and i'm just going to cut to the chase and tell you all about this amazing wig. So the color i have here today with me is is called fs4 33 30 a and it's in it's the color called midnight cocoa. So it's a kind of medium to dark brown mixed with these lighter brown, auburn kind of highlights so carry light. Is 100 remy human hair, so this hair is a really great quality. It is so soft to touch so with jon renau's light collection um. What they've done is they've taken a lot of their more popular, wigs and they've created this light collection and the main difference between the regular collection and the light collection is a couple of things. First of all, the hair density is a bit less it's about. 15. Less hair density in their light collection, so it's noticeably a bit lighter also. They have several differences in their cap construction, which i will show you in a little bit. So first, i'm going to go and put her on. So you can see what she looks like just note that this is right out of the box, and this is human hair, so human hair generally, when you put it on right out of the box, it falls a bit flat and it's it's not really styled at All so, it might look a little bit dull on me right now, but i'm still gon na put her on anyways all right here. She is so carrie. Is this really cute kind of medium length, bob style with this wig? It is 10 inches from the crown uh 10 inches on the side and from the nape of the neck. It'S seven inches long i'll, put those measurements down below so that you can refer back to them so, like i said this is right out of the box. So the styling is a little bit funny. It'S got these kind of. I don't know, i don't know what it's got going on, but it's not quite right for what i would do to it um and it still has this kind of zigzag part going on i'll. Try and comb that out so that you can see what the scalp looks like, so this hair does need to get trained to kind of go certain ways, but this is the scalp right here. Come up nice and close. It has a really nice lace front. All right now that you've seen her on i'm going to take her off and show you guys the cap, construction and kind of go over what makes the carry light different than just carry all right. So the first thing about the light collection. It'S really amazing! It has a full ear to ear lace front, so it has 12 inches pretty much of lace front all the way across, whereas the regular version just had this section so about 5 inches of lace front so light. The light version goes all the way from ear to ear, which makes it a really natural and seamless fit other than that it has a monofilament top. So this allows you to part the hair wherever you would like, and this version has a 100 hand tied cap. So it's really stretchy, it is so comfortable. Let me tell you: this is a comfortable gap. It also on the light version. Has these polyurethane ear tabs? I don't know if you can see that there we go so these um they're polyurethane and they do have a wire in here, so that you can shape it and form it to your head. And if you would like to the this allows you to put any adhesive on it, if you would like a more secure fit. However, i find that this is extremely secure. I i wouldn't need any adhesive. It stays on very well um, so other than the monofilament top the fully uh ear to ear lace front the polyurethane ear tabs of the wire. It also has the velvet velcro tabs to adjust the cap, and it also has this silicone kind of non-slip grip. Just to allow it to stay a little bit more in place, so this this girl's not coming off she's, pretty secure. I will put her back on so that you can see all the angles of her when she's on. So my favorite thing about this is just the way this wig fits. It is like i said earlier, it's so secure. I feel like this is not gon na come off at all. It feels so snug, so secure and just so comfortable and other than that. I love the ear to ear lace front like you can pull this behind your ears, and it just looks so seamless, like tell me, that's not grown from my head. So keep in mind, though, that because this wig is human hair, because it has that fully hand-tied cap, because it is completely lace front from ear to ear, this wig isn't cheap, but is she worth it? Yes, she's amazing. I love her. I would really love to actually style this so that i can see what it actually looks like in a style that i love, because this this isn't cutting it for me right now.
