Hey everybody welcome back to Teslas my closet at wake studio. One are you ready for takeoff? This is a brand new release by Raquel Welch. It'S called ready for takeoff coming up ready for takeoff is the shortest of the three new styles released in their spring collection. For 2020 and it's a short very supremely layered style at first glance, it looks very classy and classic, but this style has a certain finesse, just a certain personality that allows it to go from your very classic to very evening and chic to casual and fun. So this color is a base color of a dark ash blonde and it's very heavily highlighted with a very pale neutral blonde, and then all of that is on a medium golden brown root about six and a half inches there in the front. I love this fringe. The fringe is it: it really sets this style in the back. You'Re gon na find about a six inch crown just perfect for profile, a great profile and lots of styling and then a 3 inch nape and a 3 inch. Nape is a really nice length for those of you out there that have a natural hairline. That kind of comes down a little farther under that bun to provide some nice coverage. There'S about a three inch layer here on the sides as well, and it weighs about 2.7 ounces. Now this cap, this cap is really something special. It is a completely hand, tied cap, see what you're going to find is a temple to Temple, extended lace, front and then a full single monofilament top and then hand tied base on the besides and back. Let'S take a look here so again that highlight being brought right up to the lace front. The lace front is impeccably done with fine knotting, a nice stir, soft lace, monofilament lace material there and then the illusion of scalp can be seen from anywhere along the top. No matter how you part it so this is a part of the true-to-life fiber collection by Raquel Welch. The fibers are heat friendly up to 350 degrees, and it feels much like human hair. It'S a bit of a medium dinner, there's very little to no shine at all visible on this on this color and style, and it has a nice medium density to it just looks and feels very, very natural. What strikes me about this style? The most is the ability to manipulate these fibers. These fibers are very impressionable, no matter what you're going to be able to move them into place with your fingers and really expect that style to hold there's quite a bit of body there. There'S some texture to these fibers, which makes it very very style, so I'm going to do a spin and a walk for you indoors. We'Ll do an outdoor look at this style. We'Re gon na take an in-depth look that at the cap and then you won't want to miss some epic Steinway. So this is an amazing cat by Raquel Welch as a part of their signature. Collection, completely hand tied. So there's your temple to Temple extended lace front. A nice deep lace front with some fine nodding there and some fine fiber, and then you do have a seam adjoining the single monofilament top very, very soft and pliable. Then you have a closed ear tab. Nice, substantial ear tap for great coverage with a sturdy stay and then an extended nape with Velcro adjusters. This is a completely hand tied bass. Now there is not much stretch at all in the style and you will see some integrated Westing in the back. That'S just to kind of strengthen the cap and give a little bit of scaffolding for some fiber back there. So what you need to know about this cap is that I'm a petite average circumference at about 21 and a quarter. I did not have to make any adjustments to this cap to get a really nice fit. So if you are used to the Raquel Welch caps that are very stretchy and roomy, I don't think you're going to find that with this one. I think this is average right out of the box and could be adjusted down to fit a petite or a petite average. I would not go so far as to say that it would stretch to accommodate a large circumference, so I want to have some fun with this styling segment. When I got this week out and was looking at it for review, I just really marveled at the impression ability of these fibers my ability to style them any way that I wanted. I could go from classic and sleek and chic to something youthful and a very casual at the same time. So I'm gon na put up a couple of pictures of when I did those styles and then I'll duplicate them in front of you here using my hands. So that you can see, no product was used. No heat is used, it's just simply sculpting the style to your condemned. So no matter the occasion or the mood you'll always be ready for take off in this little cute style by Raquel Welch new for spring 2020. See you next time, entices wait closet at wake studio, one you

With the front and sides of the wig so comfortable and lightweight, why does the nape of the neck on wigs have to be so heavy by comparison? There is comparatively thick material at the nape. I would hope one day that that this area would be as light and airy as the rest of the wig. I do not believe the wig would be unstable with a much lighter treatment at the nape, and it would certainly be more comfortable, cooler and less likely to feel as if it is sliding over what's left of my hair.
