Want me to review your company (Currently not doing hair/lash reviews)

Contact me at [email protected]

I'Ve been away from the wild, but I'm back and I'm ready to do more videos for y'all. But please, please make sure you are subscribed and you turn on a notification bell, because I've realized a lot of y'all do not notice how many videos I have when it comes to making wigs when it comes to starting your own hair business. I have at least 20 to 30 videos out there. I don't want you guys to miss out on all of this great information, so make sure you subscribe and make sure you turn on the notification veil, okay, so which I pretty much want me to talk about, and someone put it and I probably just insert what They put it right here. They pretty much wanted to know hey what, if I don't have enough money to purchase. You know like three bundles and the closure from a vendor at the time. What if I could only purchase like one bundle? How would I go about testing out the hair, then? So, of course I don't mind doing video on that and I don't mind helping. So I think the first thing that we need to address is what is a hair sample, because a lot of people are a little confused about what a sample is like on my website. Here we go to my website order a sample. A simple would literally be like a three-inch piece of hair that I cut off a track and I send it to you. That'S what I would consider hair simple, but when it comes to vendors vendors, consider a hair sample like two to three bundles: okay, because typically vendors wholesale, so you have to buy ten or more bundles so to them. If you want to sample a wholesale order, you have to buy a minimum of two to three bundles at one time now there are some company that do allow you to purchase one, but there are some companies that do allow you to purchase two models. There are some companies that allow you to purchase three bundles. It depends on the company. I know a lot of people have the idea in their head. You know these wholesale vendors only accept wholesale orders, and that is not true. You really have to ask. Of course, there are gon na be some companies, it's just like. No, they Tim bundles is the lowest that they allowed, but there are plenty of companies that are ok with doing sample orders, mind you, that's not my vendors do and that's how I'm able to sell hair with no inventory which I'll talk about in one of my Other videos, so that is pretty much what a hair sample is now when it comes to testing out hair, I strongly recommend being able to purchase two or three bundles and a closure, but in this case let's say you can't: okay, the only con to test them Out one bundle compared to testing out enough hair for an install would be that you really don't know how the hair is gon na act when it's going someone's head like with someone sleeping in the hair, when hair is rubbing up against the back of somebody's neck. All day, that is something that you will not be able to test out with one bundle, and I mean you can take your chances, but I do kind of feel like it's a big deal when you you're not able to test out and see if the hair Mets at the back of the neck, because that's like a huge quality issue in my book - I don't like for here that I'm wearing it for a whole day and it's mads up and back - and I literally have you know I'm like well. I really have to like that's not good, but that's probably like the only con. I can see to not being able to purchase enough bundles to physically wear the hair when you get hair. So I in this situation, so the hair wear right now is scare. That was sent to me for free from a vendor and I'll do like a another video doing a review of this hair, because a lot of people do like my hair reviews. So I received this hair. I make wigs as most of you guys know and when I make wigs, I only use two bundles in a closure. So that's what I have in my head now that might be another option for those who can't really afford 3 bubbles in the closure. Maybe 2 lemons in the closure would be cheaper for you, maybe that's something that you can afford. This is a 16 inch 18 inch in a 12 inch closure that I'm wearing now, when I test out here, I physically wear the hair. I do make wigs, but what I would do I was so big on to my hair around the perimeter into the brace that I have that way. I can like have the hair in like actual install, and I can feel it like. I can see for myself how the hair it's gon na act, if I sleep with it, without a barn it on. If I can just wake up and go with the hair, or do I really have to brush out it and wet the hair everyday? Okay, but if you were just testing out one bubble, so this is the other bundle that I received that I didn't use. Okay, so pretty much. The question is how, if I have one bundle, how would I go about testing it now? The first thing you can do is a burn test, not a burn test, pretty much. Let you see if the hair is real or not it's a good way to see when it comes to real hair. When you burn real hair, really hair turns into ash when you burn hair that has synthetic fibers in it. It like turns into a plastic. So I'm gon na insert a video of what I mean. I'M gon na show. You guys me burning this hair, so you guys can see how it turns into a sh f edema turns into so I haven't even did it on this hair yet, but I am going to show you guys. So if the turns to ash, then then I guess this. What I was showing y'all will be worth it and then I'm just going to show like some synthetic braiding hair. Just so you guys can see the comparison. So that's the first way to find out if the hair is real hundred percent virgin or not. Secondly, there are some other things that you want to be able to do to the hair. So does this hair? This is um. I think this is natural wave hair. The natural state of the hair, so you want to see, does this hair give bone straight the problem with a lot of wavy, hair or curly hair? When you straighten it it some of the hair doesn't get a bone straight, and what you will realize is that every strand of hair isn't the same length. They really some vendors are tricky, they will throw in smaller pieces of hair, and so this is a twelve inch. This is a twelve inch bubble, so sometimes there are 28 inches of hair strands, six inches of hair strands, four inches of hair strands and they'll put it all until there's bundles. So you can't really see because it's gon na all those little pieces add thickness. But when you're straightening hair, you really see it a lot, and I don't know if you guys can see it right now. It'S probably kind of hard to see, but you think all of that that's sticking out of the hair. It'S just the hair, a bit of frizzy, but really those are all like shorter strands of hair. Now it's nothing wrong with that, but it does kind of drop the quality of the hair down a notch. Let'S say you want to use some version here. You want your quality to at least be. You want to be able to reach your hair between the 7 and the 10. Okay, you want to be able to rate your hair in between a 7 or a 10. I mean that's a decent rating before you start selling virgin hair. So you know, if you have a lot of short pieces in your hair, you need to go ahead and take your rating down a notch. Okay, so from one scale and one to 10, 10. Being the best, the fact that this hair has short pieces in me, I'm gon na knock it down to an eye okay. So you always want to test the hair to see if they gets bone straight and make sure it's not super frizzy and doesn't have a lot of short hairs in it when it gets bone straight also, if the hair is curly like this or has like a Natural wave or is wavy, you always want to see. Okay after you straighten the hair, does it turn back to this natural pattern, or does the pattern a weekend? Okay? Does it make the curls looser? You always want to be able to test that out. Also, when it comes to wavy or curly hair, you also want to see if the hair can get really defined. So if you wet the hair and put gel in it, doesn't make the hair look different, like that's, the hair gets super curly. Does it matter or not yeah? Another thing you want to do is watch the hair, of course, when people first get their bundles, they Co wash the hair. Now, when you watch the year and the number one thing that you're kind of looking out for you want to make sure the hair doesn't have any dye, that's coming out of it, so that the water of the hair should remain clear, sometimes depending on track. The shampoo or conditioner you're, using sometimes the shampoo or conditioner, has a little color to it. So it might be hard to tell if the hair stays clear, because the shampoo and conditioner has a little color to it. So when you do watch the hair trying to wash hair with shampoo or conditioner that's white in color and not like off blue or like a dark tan or whatever different colors share point condition. This can be sometimes because sometimes they are like this color um. So you just want to make sure when you watch it. A lot of hair dye doesn't come out because if you do see hair dye coming out of the hair, that means that the hair has been chemically processed and it has been dyed to achieve the hair. Color for virgin hair, you want the hair to be in a natural color, natural brown, alright. So if that comes out after you wash the hair, that means that the hair has been processed and it's not in its natural color like it's hosted me and that could be a problem. Another thing which I should have mentioned first, you always want to smell. The hair hair can have a really bad smell. Sometimes people say it's: my life, Fritos Cheetos, corn chips, toes hair have a bad smell and we're hair being on people face people don't want to walk around with hair. They may face that stank. Ok, another thing also: when you watch the hair dyes coming out, you have to realize when the person take a shower and they have a sewing in and their hair gets wet. If the hair has died coming out of the it will stain your pillows, it will stain your sheets. You know what that happened, because I remember when I was in college. I spent the night over. I spend the night over my ex he's, my ex so I spent over my ex boyfriend house and I took a bath and I woke up and I was sleeping on his white pillows and his white pillows were stained because the hair was wet and the hair Had so much dye coming out of it, it was bad um, another thing when you wash you sometimes I mean you might not smell to here right away, but as soon as you wash the hair, you start to smell over and that's like a odor is a Major issue: I was saying on a scale of 1 to 10. If the hair stinks, you need to go ahead and deduct points off of that. That automatically makes the hair 6, which automatically makes the hair not sellable, because you want your radiance of be within 7 to 10. Okay, when you selling here also, you want to see if the hair can be dyed. If you can color the hair, so you can bleach the hair got ta hair see how it takes see if the hair, if the curl pattern of the hair comes back after you diet now, typically because of bleaching the hair, it will cause the pattern even a Good quality hair it will cause the pattern to loosen a little it's. What you don't want it to do is for the hair to be bone straight. If a person bought natural wave hair, they wanted it to be natural wave if, after they bleach and Dyna hair and the hair is bone straight, this is not what they wanted. They wanted natural wave. So that would be an issue, so you just want to make sure that after you bleach it or color it that it goes back to its regular texture. So that's pretty much that's pretty much the things that you can do to pretty much test out. Your hair, of course, I recommend that you actually wear the hair for yourself and test it out, while you're actually wearing it, because you get more of the experience of how your customers are on board. Here the customers aren't going to order one bundle of hair or wear one bubble of hair. I mean unless they want to do like a weave, ponytail or something which would be cute, it's cute unless they want to do like a weed, ponytail or something but yeah. Typically, customers are gon na, buy three bundles and a closure three bubbles in the frontal. So you want to be able to actually wear it as if you are your own customer and really see how the hair holds up, because when your customers start asking you questions about the hair, you need to be able to tell them. Yes, the hair can be straightening and here's a picture of where I straighten the hair myself, and this is what it looks like. Yes, the hair can be dyed. Here'S a picture of me when I got the hair and this is what it looks like and it still keeps the curl pattern or it still keeps the natural the original pattern of the hair. You know this is what the hair looks like curl the curls do stay in all day, long or yeah. You can curl the hair, the curls kind of drop towards the end of the day. So when I tested out the hair, what I use to make sure the curls stay, I use this certain hairspray or certain mousse or a holding spray, and it keeps the hair and all day long. So it's just really important that you test the hair out. You also it's also important that you test out different products. So let's say you wash the hair with a certain shampoo and conditioner, and the hair is super dry. It might not necessarily be that the hair is bad. It could just be the hair combined with that hair product is bad, so you might have to try a different, shampoo and conditioner, because that may work better on the head. So just a lot that you have to do to test out the hair. I always recommend, if you do test out here, you test it out for a minimum of three weeks because, from my experience, all bad hair messes up at the second week or the third week. So if you at least try to hair out for three weeks and it doesn't mess up now more than likely you're good to go but, like I said, a lot of this stuff is already covered in my business workbook. All of this is already covered majority of this, and not only more is covered in my hair business workbook. So if you'd already have it, please visit the website and get it when you can or get the downloadable PDF file at the version. If you, if I'm because I'm always sold out of the hard copy, so you can get the downloadable version, I think it is available on my website. Also, you guys please thumbs up this video. If you really liked it, if you thought it was helpful, there's any other thing that I anything else that I can help with neither down in the description box below, because I am about to make a whole bunch of videos, because I've been away for so long. So I need to know whether I can help you out with so I can continue to make videos. I have a whole list of other videos that I will be doing so. Pumpkinbeautyx: I am so excited to start my business! I have two samples coming in on monday and wednesday from two different vendors to test! I had to buy 3 bundles from each and a frontal (for me) to test and make a wig

Jay_M: Yassss sis I need this video!!! I’m so close to starting my hair company- thanks to you. Thank you so much!

Oumou Salif: Thank you for taking the time to make these videos I came here trying to figure out what even is a sample and now I know

Jess Smith: I love your videos so much. I look forward to seeing your videos when you do upload them. I’m glad you are feeling better and back to you normal self. Your videos really helped me and motivate me to start a hair business. Thank you so much I really do appreciate you.

Gina Gilreath: Hi Eboni!! Thanks for the awesome videos! I have a question concerning vendors. If a vendor send you a sample of a good quality hair. Then when you go and make a purchase the hair isn't the same quality. Basically scamming you. How do you prevent that kind of situation happening?

Here Is Toya: Hi Ebony, I really enjoy your videos. I'm glad you are back and feeling well! How many vendors do you recommend sampling from? I'm on my first vendor now. Also, as far as shedding what do you look for? Is no shedding unrealistic or a couple strands when you wash okay? How much is too much? Thanks!

Amplifiedbeautyhair: Thank you Eboni!!!! Girl you just don’t know how in my head we real life besties...Kmsl you are honestly a blessing girl!

Tamara Hall: Hi Eboni, great video. There was something said in this video that’s very important and probably should’ve been added in one of your other videos (I’m new so I may be wrong), but the video where we should ask vendors important questions, such as do they allow sample orders, maybe we should incorporate asking do they allow small orders or do they require a certain amount to be ordered. Just a thought.

Avianca G: Hey sis I have tested one bundle of hair before. I just purchased the longest length in my wig / install. This allowed me to see if the hair Matt’s in the back of the neck, holds a curl , interacts with other hair. I also bleached, color, burn , wash test , wear test etc. If it’s a bad bundle I’ll just remove the bundle from the back and replace it.

Rockï Evanescent: Girl my hair passed the test. I purchased from Alibaba Kabeilu. I’m so happy I can install with no issues.

Style Lives Within Me: I just got my samples from a potential vendor. I’m so excited to test them out.

Tasha H: Hi Eboni! I’ve just started communicating with vendors but, I don’t know if their prices are jacked up or if they’re reasonable for the hair I’m looking for. Ie: $90 per bundle for 20” raw sample. It’s that good? Can you do a video on price points for, let’s say, the top 5 selling hair types along with pricing for wigs and closures for those hair types?

MMW: Helpful Ebony, how do we know if the vendors aren’t overcharging us? Your videos have been so so helpful. Thanks and hug from Sweden

tyra danae: i love watching your videos! I feel like you my big sister trynna help me out & you make learning these thing fun! you got me laughing

starr platt: Welcome back I luv ya videos Im trying to start my own hair business and marketing it’s easy lol but I learned a lot from watching you and can’t wait to learn more this video was right on time lol vendors have been in my dm a lot so I needed to know for sure I was doing the right thing when I sample the hair so ty

B.Alanyse: How are you not at 100k yet?? You stay giving out real gems for people trying to start a hair business.

J. Ash J: Hi Eboni I’ve been trying to figure out how to test the quality of 613 blonde hair. Do you have any tips ? Maybe that could be a video topic

Diamond Lashawn: Hey Eboni! I have a question what are your feelings on hair that when you flat iron some of the strands don’t stand up to the heat. But only a few strands

CEO Mani: Please show us how to get rid of odor !!! Loved this video ❤️

JoJo: Yes I would like to see a video on how to get rid of the smell, thank you! Also, when you ship out hair from your company do you wash it first before shipping out or do you ship it how it comes?

blairseen: Hi ebony I tried the burn test.. so bought two hair around June.. this year tho but one became matted around the neck area... it'll be all good in the morning and in the afternoon it'll be looking like shit. but the other one is still good. I bought it from two different places. so I cut out a small piece from both of them n burned it... but the confusing thing here is that both of them turned into ash..... .. I don't get

AshLee Bee: I agree with all topics covered ! Love video !!

Nyka Rolle: Hi Ebony. Absolutely love your videos. Can you tell me how you learned to make wigs and how do you make them?

Lil This N That: I've had closures from Amazon that had like 8" 10" 12" mixed in the closure. When u part the hair u can really see it

Alyya London: I don't know how entirely true this is, but I was told by a vendor that curly hair has been processed by steam to achieve the curl pattern but the steam water is mixed with ammonia. Apparently this is the case for all curly hair extensions

Simply Amaka: Wow, this video is super helpful! Thanks so much

Tishana Michel: Do you think it’s better to request curly samples instead of straight so that you can test if it gets bone straight and returns to its original curl pattern?

Asia Badd: Hi eboni do you make your wigs with double drawn or single drawn bundles, which is best?

Rosalina Lewis: I honestly appreciate you and your information thank you

maurisa jackson: Hi Eboni, how do you know when you've find the right vendor?

Joehneesa Collins: I am starting a hair business and currently doing my research and your videos are the most informative. Thank you!

Chiquita Handy: GREAT VIDEO!! VERY HELPFUL!! :)

Sukaje: Very informative, great video!

ruth damali: Hi Eboni, Thanks for this it's really helpful. How can I know a good closure, frontal and full lace hair? Thanks

Khadija Herrera-Dublin: Question....What is the best density for wigs? Is there a difference in the wig density between straight and curly

Alexis Dawson: Sisssssas u putting us up on so much game.. Thank u

Sue Ray: Would you recommend sampling a wig rather than bundles?

Bryan Cadet: I'm 15 and I have a hair bussiness pending and I got a sample lol didnt know what exactly to do with it and your video got me on the roll right now thankssss

Lil This N That: I wear the hair too in order to truly sample it. Which means at least 3mo or greater. Which mean it takes time to test different vendors

Latisha Ellis: You are so awesome! Keep it up sis!!

Nic Nac: Glad you're back! Looking good girl!

MzUnique Forever: I recently start watching your videos. You said the bundle in your hand is in it's natural state. Do you flat iron it yourself to turn it into the straight hair that you wanna sell?

RainCityDana: Another great video and I cried at your ex and the pillow situation!

Mylotus Thoughts: I love this channel so helpful thanks

hispanola beauty: Girl I been order 3 bundles like you suggested. I have been ordering for 3 weeks now. So far I spent $6k. And I still have 6 more vendors to go. I need help because I only have 10k to get my business going. So I don’t want to spend the rest just on samples

Chane Watt: Do you wash all your hairs before selling them or just the samples?

Corina Castro: Taking it all in TY

Maxwell Ali-Kinney: This has been helpful thank you

Brenda Porter: Hi Eboni there are white plastic fibers in that hair as well. They have a high end plastic fibers that smell like hair when you burn it.

Nadiii: Can you use more than one vendor or do you feel like it’s better to only use one

Atlegang Lekalakala: The place I bought the wig definitely put shorter hair in a 20 inch. The end looks thinlike one strand is the 20inch. It’s always goes back to wavy and I wanted it’s straight. You know what. Ima burn the lace parts I cut off to see if it ain’t plastic

MzUnique Forever: I just receive my first sample order from my first vendor and came scrolling for this video. I had to watch it again with the bundle in my hand. Next video I'm gonna. Gina_ishaya: Thank u so much I appreciate you a lot ❤️❤️

for school: What are your thoughts when getting samples from vendors in brown and they have red strings of hair threw out the bundle? Does that mean the hair has been previous colored ?

Lil This N That: I think I've found a raw Indian vendor. I've been wearing these bundles since nov2018. Sleeping in them, working out etc. Although vendor is a lil pricey unless I'm purchasing over a dozen bundles at a time

Taishay Perry: When ordering a wig does one piece mean one wig ?

Christio'n Cook: Please do a video about short hairs in frontals and closures.

Renny Ojuri: When first looking for vendors (I’ve got like 5) do I just order one bundle of straight and body wave maybe and once I find one I like order more to test as a wig. Cause if I order full from each vendor I’ll be wasting them right? Not sure thank you

blairseen: you are amazing.. thanks for the info

Alice Anku: Thanks for all the information. And keep on your way of laughter, for some reason it realized me. You know going into something like business,, you stress out already, little things like laugh do help. Thanks

Moses Ukoh: I'm going to like ALL the videos of you that I watch!

Dijon Boston: Little help. I'm on Alibaba negotiating with a seller but the hair comes in different quality meaning silver , good quality, excellent quality and premium quality what would you recommend. I now starting so the excellent and premium is very expensive to invest

Irene McGimpsey: I love most of the hair you have I stop buying hair due to the smell please make a video of that, hair shouldn't smell period especially when you are paying serious money.

Sunshine Beauty: OMG I love watching your channel I learned so much. I am currently looking for a vendor can't seem to find a good vendor help please.
