Affordable Curly Wig With Bang | Wowebony Hair Review

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is taylor and, if you're new here welcome, today's video is going to be on this unit that i purchased from wow ebony.com. This is my first curly hair unit, as well as my first wig review. So if you want to know more on this wig and how i got it to look like this keep on watching, so this is what the wig arrived in in this box here, as you can see, i'm super excited about it and just wanted to get it On my head, when i open the wig up, it comes in this beautiful satin bag, very nice and well enclosed. It also came with some wig caps, as well as an instruction guide and other wigs right here. You will see all of the details on the wig, so if you want to pause it, this is everything about the wig. So this is what the wig looked like straight out of the satin bag. It was enclosed in another plastic bag and yeah. This is what the wig looks like right out of the package. It came with a hair net as well as some little paper to kind of keep. I guess it's form, so this is what the wig looks like right here. I was just running my fingers through the texture. It was super soft, i will say very nice, but this is just the texture and, as you can see, this is what the bangs look like as well. So right here you can see that the wig did come with some combs inside two on the side and one in the front as well as one in the back. The wig also came with a detachable strap and it also came with the two adjustable straps in the back of the wig, so the wig is a silk top, so it did come with this very nice realistic scalp - and this is just one lash shot of what The wig looked like now: this wig did have a little smell to it, so i was like we got ta wash that so that's what we're gon na do. Next for shampoo, i went in with the camille rose, sweet, ginger, cleansing, rinse, and i just put some shampoo on there and i started to lather up the wig like i said it had a smell to it and it also kind of had some color coming off Of it, i don't know if it was from the chemicals that you know. Sometimes they put on hair to preserve it, but yeah. I made sure to go in here and wash this very well. I don't know if you can also see when i'm starting to take the suds out of it. It kind of had a little tinge to it. So yeah i made sure to watch this wig very good for conditioner. I just went in with the aussie miracle moist. My favorite conditioner and i put a good amount of that conditioner on there and i made sure to rake the conditioner through the curls in order to get every single strand and as you can see, look at the texture how the curls are already popping and then I took my felicia leatherwood detangling brush and i just went in and further detangled the hair making sure to get all that product on the hair. Then i sat it in this thing and let it sit for five minutes came back and i rinsed that conditioner out and i made sure to rinse it out thoroughly. So this is the amount of shed hair that i got from beginning to end of the wash uh. It looked kind of like a lot, but it really wasn't so this is that much ahead. So here the wig is, after the wash and conditioner as you can see, the curls are so soft. Look at that texture. This is without any product on it at all, but we're gon na put some products in it. So for a cream styler, i went in with the bay of curls coconut cream curl defining cream. I didn't want to wait the hair down, so i only used a little bit of this. I really wanted to see what the texture of the curls were looking like. So i just put a small amount in my hands and then raked that through and then just took my detangling brush and break that through as well and then to set the hair. I used design essentials almond and avocado curl enhancing mousse. This is my first time using this mousse and i have to say i really liked it so i just went in and i just sectioned the hair and i used uh the detangling brush to go in and, as you can see, it really defined the curls. Even more like look look at those curls, i'm just i was just amazed, and so i just did that for the rest of the head. I just sectioned put some mousse and continued to just detangle and define - and this is the amount of hair that i got from shedding after styling the unit. So here is what the unit looked like. After all of the products were applied, as you can see, it still has some nice shape to it. The curls are super defined and it's super light. So i just went ahead and i let the hair dry overnight. Okay, so it is the next day i let the wig air dry, and this is what the wig is looking like. So far as you can see, it's definitely got some shrinkage going on it's very much, giving first day hair. This reminds me of how my hair actually used to be when i had longer natural hair. It would look just like this. I used to use gel my hair likes gel, but i didn't put any gel in this wig seeing that it's a wig and i just wanted to really see the curls. I don't know if you can tell look at that. Texture, it's so nice, it's very, very beautiful and the bangs have shrunk up a little bit, but i want it to be this way so that i can do all the fine-tuning myself. So i'm just gon na go ahead and put the wig on my head here. I'M not gon na use any of the cones. Oh it's skipping very much. I'M rick james! I didn't put the combs in because i don't think it's necessary, especially with the adjustable strap but yeah. This is this is what the hair looks like now, i'm not worried about any humps or lumps because i'm gon na volumize this uh, like you, know, pick it out and you know volumize it and everything, but so far i like the length, as you can see This is 18 inches and i like the length of it, i'm going to definitely customize it. So i'm just going to take my pick and i'm just going to start to fluff out the hair, to create some volume up in here and i'm not going to comb out the ends, i'm just more so just fluffing out, as you can see just flush with Fluffing out from the roots so far, this is the volume that i have. I really like it. Oh it's so pretty for the bangs, i'm just going to take my fingers kind of separate them. This hair mimics like regular hair, it's so good and what i mean it mimics it. It reminds me of my hair, so i fluffed it out a bit. It'S so soft. I think going with that. Mousse was a good idea, not a lot of frizzing happening either. I really like this wig like this is so nice. I am gon na shake the front up a little bit just to frame my face. I feel like it's a little just kind of one leveled, so i'm going to try to create some layers and yeah i'm not going to touch the bangs. I don't feel like. I need to do anything to the bangs honestly. The bangs are perfect so far. This is what i have i didn't do too much, but i am going to take the wig off and put it on the wig head so that i can cut the back, because i do not trust myself with cutting that and i think i might just cut A few more things that i see fit, but i didn't take too too much off. I just wanted to again just kind of frame the face a little bit, the more i play. The more volume happens and i'm obsessed with it. I love it so yeah, i'm gon na take this off and cut the back okay, so i did a little bit more cutting as you can see, it's a little bit more round shape. If you will, i didn't cut too much off from the back, because i just didn't want to mess it up honestly. So this is what it's looking like. I could cut a little bit shorter in the back. I might make it all even, but i did more of like if it was coming down like this in the back. So it's like this and then it kind of tucks under you see it's still a little bit longer in the back so yeah. This is the wig i am obsessed with it. I think it suits me if i had kept going my hair. This is probably what it would have. You know, look like, maybe a little different variation. I really just wanted a super affordable, throw on way. I didn't want to have to be dealing with anything. I didn't want to have to be cutting no lace and worrying about scalping, and this is the this is as much scalpage as you're gon na get, and it looks pretty real honestly. I think it is a great wig if you are trying to transition your hair or trying to see if, like how your hair will look if you grew it out literally affordable, easy wig.
