How To Apply Tape To Front Of Hair System

This video is about How to apply tape to front of hair system

All right so now, we've cleaned ourself up our unit is nice and clean and they'll. Take that the wrong way. So we have to make sure that our scissors are always clean. If they're not clean, the residue from the tape will stick to the scissors and it's going to make a mess so we're just going to take some solvent spray it on the scissor blades on both sides. We'Re going to chop our scissors together a couple of times. If they're really sticky give it a couple of seconds to to work in to soften up the adhesive and then just give them a nice wipe with your towel, we're going to be doing the tape attachment. Now we've done the glue attachment a little bit earlier on now, tape doesn't come in the perfect shaped pieces. All of the time and tape can easily be manipulated. If you do it correctly, so today we're going to show you how to properly attach tape to the system, regardless of the shape of your system. So now we've cleaned up our scissors and we're ready to apply our tape. Adhesive to the front now have a clip or two handy, depending on the width of your hair system. More than one clip may be needed, so we're going to flip the front of our hair system back, expose the lace and then we're going to apply one or two clips. Whatever is needed to ensure that our hair is out of our way. Sometimes, when you don't clip the hair properly tape, an adhesive may stick to the hair and it causes a bit of a mess and forces you to do it all over again. There we go so now. Everything is nice and clean and clear. We can see exactly where tape is going you're going to take your tape and you're going to bend the tape in half at the bend point. You can just lift that up a little bit for me Darrin's, one of the guys going out a little higher that little one a little more yeah there you go and you're going to peel the backing off of the adhesive. Now, there's almost like a little cut in the back of the adhesive. That'S how you know: you're peeling it off from the right spot. You'Re going to cut it in half half of the tape is going to stick to the scissors and you're going to rest. That on the table beside you now you're going to take the other half and you're going to carefully place that on the lace now just carefully place it on, don't commit to it or press it. Yet you want to make sure that you're catching that at the right angle and take your time when it comes to this part. So really really important, and you don't want to have to do it over again and that's going to take a lot more time. So again make sure you just take your time position it. Sometimes what I like to do is touch it on one side, and then I can manipulate the other side up and down until it fits on there perfect. Now, once you have it on there really nice you're going to press it in place from both sides right parents do it now from the hair side and the side of the tape and just press it on there ready very nice now, if the tape is not Coming off easily, as you pull the backing off, that means that the lace is either dry or you haven't, pressed it in place, so press it in place one more time, nice and tight. If that doesn't work, take your blow dryer dry up the lace, a little bit more from the hair side, press it in place again and then peel the backing off. Now again just have a bit of patience. Everything will work out exactly the way you want now when you're putting on your next piece, try not to touch the tape side. That'S already there! So you're going to pick up your scissors. Take the tape off of the scissors, put your scissors and now you're going to apply this piece of tape to the other side, and if your finger does have to touch the tape, just barely touch it. That'S all you really need in order to get your finger attached to the adhesive, and you see how Darrin is just moving the tape nice and when he has it in place. Perfection is when it comes to this gentleman. It'S a nice going to press it in place perfect. Now, if your system is bigger, you can take your next piece of tape now and continue along the frontal hairline until you reach the edge so again, press it in place nice and firm and peel the backing off now, once that's done, we're not going to take Our clips out of the area we're going to gently start from the back and we're going to gently start pressing the system forward, nice and easy from the hair side, and when we're sure we got it lined up, then we can start removing one clip. First, that's it and then we can remove the other clip and generally run your fingers from the back forward nice and evenly along the front, don't stretch or pull the system. Let it just fall into place now, with your hand, you're going to just press the unit on top and go all along the edges, and once that stuff, your hairs are now ready to style. You can put in your product. Look at the hairline make sure that everything is fitting in correctly the way you like it put in some product and away. You go thanks. Darren awesome. Thank you.

Uthman Khawn: Your videos are really simple and helpful! Thanks!

Will: Oh my god this seems infinitely easier than glue. Every time i try to glue the hairline i just get hair stuck in the glue.

Simon Wright: Isn’t it easier to apply the tape with the system off the head (maybe on a mannequin head) and leave the backing on until the system is in place and ready to be stuck down completely?

Erick Diaz: How far from the edge of the lace should I place the tape?

Danny Adams: Makes it look way easier than it is for a newbie like me!! lol it felt like war!!

Y D Tech: Hello I'm new to the game and thinking of her to g a system for myself eventually. I've seen in different videos they use glue instead of tape in the hairline is there a reason why and which method would you say it's best. Thank you.
