How To Install A Lace Frontal Wig For Beginners Ft. Wiggins Hair

Hey guys welcome to the channel so for today's video i'm going to be showing you how i install my wig so first things. First, i'm actually putting foundation on the ball cap before i actually glue the ball cap down and in the next clip you're gon na see me use my even spray. It'S basically the same as using got to be spray, but to me it just dries faster and it holds more firmly so um. Obviously the camera couldn't focus, but i'm just spraying it along my hairline and then after this i went ahead and bleached the knots on the wig, while this was drying. So of course i just let it dry on my head for maybe about 30 minutes. You don't necessarily have to do that, but this is the wig um straight out of the packaging. As you can see, it comes in a red bag that you can store the wig in later, and then here is the actual wig itself and i'm going to take it out of the packaging and look how lustrous and beautiful that is, it's literally so bouncy. So silky and the hair is also very dark and, besides those good qualities, one thing that i noticed that i absolutely love is that the hair actually seems a little bit longer than 24 inches in my opinion, so it might have been like 26. So now i'm gon na actually install the wig, i'm using bold hold and i'm just putting dots all over my hairline um. I'M sorry that i'm kind of out of the frame in this it was really like the tripod. I had to adjust the tripod after this, but i'm just putting dots and then i'm smearing it you basically just put it on your hairline, you smear it and, of course, after each layer you do want to dry it with the blow dryer just to make sure That there's no more white showing because you cannot install your wig if the glue is still white. If you do it's going to be very, very, very messy - and you don't want that and after that you obviously just laid the lace down onto the hairline and onto um. Basically the ball cap. So i like to push the hair in with a comb and then blow dry it at the same time just to get the best results and another thing that i do differently than most people. Sometimes i do like to cut the lace before i apply it. It just helps me to get better precision because sometimes when i don't cut the lace i'll end up having big chunks of hair that didn't get glued down. So that's just something personal that i like to do you don't necessarily have to cut the lace before it's glued but, like i said it's just a personal thing um, so i'm basically just pressing everything in i did allow my hair to dry inside of an elastic Band for like another 30 minutes before i started the baby hairs, but now um i've already cut out one of the sections for my baby hairs and i'm just going to basically curl them going upwards and then this is how i achieve the fluffy baby. Hair look and then, after this you're just going to see me tweaking the baby hairs just to make it lay down, and just basically look good. So now that all of that is done, the hair is installed. The baby hairs are laying now i'm just going to add two products to my hair: i'm adding a paul mitchell, super skinny serum and i'm also going to add cheese, silk infusion um with both of these products. I don't over. We use them because if you are going to use them, then your hair is going to be very greasy and also prior to me, adding the products i did run through my hair with the flat iron. I actually forgot to get that part on camera, so the hair is fairly straight um as you've seen in the clips before the hair did come as body waves, but since i blow-dried it out - and i straightened it um - you know it's straight more so at the Roots and that's because after i add these products, i'm going to actually curl the ends of this hair and if you don't straighten your hair, in my opinion, before you curl it, it's just not gon na look right. It'S not gon na look flat at all. So yeah um, i think in the next clip you're gon na, see me run through it a little bit more with the flat iron because i just like it to be as flat as possible. That'S just me um! So yeah i'm running through it with the flat iron just a couple of more times um in the spaces that i see that are still wavy and then, after that, i'm going to take a big barrel: um curling iron and just curl the ends of the hair. So i guess you guys can just enjoy this footage of me curling the ends of the hair okay. So this is the finished product of the hair. As you can see, it is very bouncy and lustrous and it's extremely silky. So, as i mentioned earlier, this hair is from wiggins hair. I actually have had hair from them in the past, but the hair that i have from them in the past was actually bundles and it was water wave, and that was one of my most long-lasting units. I actually wore that unit on and off for a year straight, so that should pretty much tell you a lot about wigan's hair um. They have very good quality hair, so i forgot to show you guys earlier, but these two products also came inside of the packaging. You have an edge brush, something that you can do your baby hairs with, and since i forgot about it, i ended up using my own edge brush. It'S not really that deep, um and then also we have some beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, mink, eyelashes. One thing that i really like about this unit specifically is that for some reason, although it is 24 inches, i feel that it runs a little bit longer and that's good to me because, in my opinion, you get more bang for your buck and then also the Hair is a little bit more darker too, and that's another good thing for me, because i don't like when my hair has like a brown cast to it in the sun and a lot of hair. It will have like a brown cast to it. This definitely does not, so the hair is dark, it's very bouncy, it's very rich and it actually runs long um. Another thing that stood out to me about the wig when i first got it is how thick it is. I don't know i'm gon na show you guys i'm gon na try to show you guys from the back. I can't really stand up because i'm injured right now, but yes, um. The hair is really really really thick, i'm not sure of how long it could necessarily hold a curl for, but if you're the type of girl to want to curl your hair constantly, then i do recommend you to get the body wave unit, which is what i Have on now um the only thing that i had to do is when i actually washed the wig i just blow dried it out um. I didn't wait for it to air dry and then i ran through it with the flat iron. Like really fast. I don't think i caught that part on camera, but i ran through it with the flat iron, at least from like here to here, just so that the curls can lay like really flat, because i just wanted like a slick curl at the end and then um As far as me, installing the hair, as you can see, that went by really really really fast, i used to take longer installing my hair, but for now now, for some reason, it only takes me like literally five minutes. The only thing that actually takes long is when you spray your ball cap and then when you also lay your wig down, because you want everything to dry, but that's just up to your discretion. You know, because, obviously, if you don't let stuff dry, then it's going to come up but yeah. The hair was very easy to install and the reason why i say it's easy is because the lace is hd lace, meaning that the lace is thin and then the knots are also very small, and that's one thing that you, ladies, do want to look for when You get wigs make sure that the knots are small, because when you bleach the knots, if the knots are not small they're still going to be black and you're going to basically be able to see that it's a wig. So when the knots are smaller um, it looks more natural, as you can see, and i only did like literally three different baby hairs in my sideburns. That'S just my typical go-to method with baby hairs, but yeah. If you guys have any questions about this unit.
