What'S up youtube, it's your girl, jada jonay, and i am back with another freaking video and today i'm gon na be showing y'all this with kiss hair honey. If you know you know, west kiss is one of my favorite hair companies to date. It'S like they never miss. Today they sent me over this 613 30 inch blonde body wave wig that i did straighten and y'all. I am in love all the details will be in the description box below, but let's get into the process of how i got this. Look so i started out with a 613 wig and i knew that i wanted to do dark roots. Personally, i don't like anything too light up against my skin, so i like that, the roots i like roots to be darker, that's with any colored wig, so it can kind of be a more natural effect. Of course everybody know i don't got 30 inches of blind hair, but y'all get what i'm saying so i did go in with the revlon color silk. I mixed 47 and 20 i'll. Add pictures in the video of course, but those are what i use mix to get the color that i actually achieved and i was actually going for a slightly lighter color, but i'm not mad at what i got either. So i'm just going to use a spoolie and a little eyebrow brush. You really got to find anything small, a toothbrush to get those roots so into this install y'all. I had to install this wig twice so basically, i think i ended up putting too much makeup or i was letting the glue dry too long. I don't know what happened, but i had to apply this wig twice and this never happens to me so initially. I did the goop i mean the glue down got to be i mean ghost bun cap um and over time, i'm starting to realize that that's not the myth that i want to use anymore just because it can be kind of bulky up under your wigs. I don't know if i'm not doing it right or what, but recently i've gone back to the ghost i mean the got to be spray um wig cap. So here it is on my head. Everything was looking good, i was so excited. I was eager um and i was ready um, but another thing i'll tell y'all, don't overdo the makeup or if you use the lace, tint use the lace tint. But i think that was the reason because i was putting foundation on there concealer on there, and i was really odd in because i really want this week to come out like scalp, like perfectly so yeah um. Initially, it's going to look like everything going right until it wasn't, so that's just what y'all seeing me do, straighten it out and clipping it back, so i can glue it down. So everything sounded like it was going good. You know a normal routine wig install i'm just installing it about two three layers, all together and letting it dry before i go in with the second layer. So when i go in to put the wig on, it's like this, mug didn't want to stick at all. Like each time, i would get a side down and pull the other side down. It would literally come up, and i'm like what am i doing like do. Y'All see this. It just wasn't giving. So what i did was go back clean. The wig do everything, because i had gotten glue all over the lace and hair and everywhere took the wig cap off and i just got to be sprayed it um and that's what y'all see i got to be sprayed. It regular wig cap, then i went back in after i washed the wig and i actually went section by section instead of trying to do it all at once, and this is something that i used to do um, but i stopped doing it. I don't know if i've gotten lazy or what, but this definitely made a difference and i didn't add any makeup to the lace. I literally didn't put no makeup on the wig. Just because i was scared, you know, makeup has oils and stuff, so it can interfere with the glue and i didn't want to take no chances. So i just left it alone and just took my shot and if i had to apply makeup after that's what i was gon na do so i'm just applying a wig like normal section. By section i started with the middle, then i went to the left and i went to the right and y'all. This literally made all the difference. As far as the hair goes, though, it was really soft. I did get a little bit of shedding. I'M not gon na lie, but 613 hair is very, very, very processed, so i wouldn't expect you know super flawless hair, but as far as flat ironing curling, this hair did everything i wanted to do and a little serum you know, i'm saying goes a long way To make the hair super duper silky um, but yeah i did get minimal shedding. So i do didn't want to leave that out, for you guys and i like when i would brush my hair or something i would get a good deal of shedding. So that's just something to look out for i don't know if it was something maybe i'd done or if it was just the wig itself, but yeah and also a lot of people don't realize for six thirteen weeks you don't have to bleach the knives. That'S the one thing i learned a long time ago when i ever got my first 613 wig. I bleached the knots and that's that that's not don't don't don't bleach the knots on the 613. We just don't. I don't know if there's like common knowledge or whatever, but i didn't know that for a long time and it was kind of remedial because it's like it's literally as blonde as it can get. Why would you bleach the knots so anybody who's confused or if you have a 613 wig, just know that? Because i know i didn't know that at first after gluing each section down - i just went in with just a little bit of holding spray, and then i tied my elastic band on so it could sit for about 20-30 minutes so boom. You see what i'm doing. I just put a little concealer into my part. I went over just a flat iron, just a little bit more and i could already just tell y'all. I was getting really excited because i already knew this install was going to come out exactly how i wanted it to so. I went in with a straight razor and cut the lace off. That'S something else that i'm going to start back doing, because i had started using scissors in a zigzag motion and the razor just ease it. Just does it for you. Basically, you don't have to really worry about doing too much. So i'm going back to the razor. Do y'all see that it looks great without baby hairs and that's what you want to achieve when you're doing a wig install, basically so going in looking at my baby hair, seeing what i want to do. Look look. Just look. Look, look! Look! Oh! You see. Okay um, but going in with my baby hairs, and i really want to go for a more you know: subtle, not really subtle. You know i love extra baby hairs but softer. I don't want to do a super hard and aggressive baby hair. So i've been trying to get down the fluffy baby hairs, i'm still not there yet, but i'm close okay. So i'm just hot combing, my edges down i'm going to put my hair in a ponytail. While i do my edges and yeah. So you know, you know the routine you pluck. If you need to, i don't really have to pluck and then you're just going to go with a straight razor and cut all of the excess hair to the length that you like it. And i did that for both sides and all the baby. Hairs and y'all know a bunch of who blah y'all already know. We already know so after i'm gon na go in with my mini um, flat iron and just curling. It is super duper tiny. You want to make sure you have a tiny, tiny one, so it really curls them. So then i go in with the got to be spray. I did not use any gel i go in with it got to be sprayed and literally just sweep those edges, and this creates a softer edge than when you're using like got to be or something because well the gel, because it makes them kind of hard. Now i did put a little bit at the very top, but that was just to lay them, but i left the curls alone, so just laying my baby hairs down um and it was coming out so good y'all. I r, when you take your time on an install, it really shows like it really comes out great when you're following a video or you making sure you do everything right. It comes out great, so i was gon na leave it alone, but y'all know i like my three baby hairs on each side, so i had to do my little swoop up or whatever don't tell nobody, but he made it all come together and i was so Excited mm-hmm, so after i finished my baby hairs, i was excited mad excited. I did go and trim my ends. Add a couple layers. Not many just a couple just to you know give a little something something to the face, and then that was the finished product. So gorgeous i'm gon na give you a small little sneak peek of some vlogmas footage. This isn't being posted to the week before vlogmas. But thank you all for watching shout out to wes kids, and i will see you all in the next weekend. Video bye,
