Start To Finish Detailed Wig Install | 13X4 Highlight Curly Wig | One More Hair | Mari Dior

He belongs to me, what's good dog, so we're just gon na jump straight into this video. The company I'm collabing with is one more hair and the wig that they sent me is their honey blonde, highlighted 13 by 4, curly wig and 24 inches and, as y'all can see, the wig comes with three Clips on the inside and also has lace on the Back this is a transparent lace. The original feel of this wig is great and I'm experiencing no shedding so, which is good so to start off. I am going to firstly back my edges. Using this edge control, I haven't done a detailed wigging Star, video in a mayonnaise child and a minutes, so I decided to come back with one. I usually just I'm very lazy with my wig installed videos because y'all don't watch them anyways. So it's like why even putting all this extra effort into it when you're not having to watch it so, but I just thought you know what I'm going to do a detail one this time just so that way. You know I can do an updated and updated install routine, updated with install whatever, but okay, oh, you might be using the right part, but I use the edge control and I'm just licking my edges back. So that way we can keep our edges, even though I just cut my hair, so it really honestly wouldn't make a difference to me either way but girl. I want these edges, so I I mean mine is just bubble. I mean I need my edges underneath my edges. That'S why I cut them off cut my hair off in the first place, because my edges just look really short compared to the rest of my hair. Okay. So after doing that, I'm gon na go in with the wig cap. I'M gon na go ahead and do the ball cap method and I'm going to be using this razor because the razor is honestly more convenient, it's easier to maneuver and yeah. So I'm going to be using the razor to make some little holes in my ears just to keep the wig nice and tight and secure. I mean not the wig, but the wig cap just to have the wig cap, be nice and flat onto my hair. So when I try to lay it, it stays, oh okay. So after doing that, I'm gon na go in with my boho active. I want to try some different glue. I'Ve you've been using both ever since I started use um installing my wigs I'll be using ball and, what's the other glue I use, I use two different types of clothes, but I'm going to be using both hold and I'm gon na put this on my wig Cap put a very thin layer on the wig cap because I feel like doing this it. It just prevents all the extra mess of the freeze spray and it's just easier and it dries quicker. So we're gon na go in with one layer of this bowl hold one thin layer around my hairline, so I'm following my hairline as I'm going in with this glue the door um, let's go um as y'all can see I'll put a very thin layer around my Hairline of glue on the wig cap, and I'm just going to let it air dry, I feel like when the air dries. It sticks better than when you use a blow dryer which using a blow dryer is for. When you want to speed the process up - which I probably am about to use the blow dryer um but yeah, I'm probably gon na use a blow dryer for like the size, the size, because the sides tends to be a little stubborn. I don't know if, like the size of my face, are just oilier than like the middle part of my forehead, but foreign go ahead and just take some makeup and put it on my cat. I'M taking um some Foundation that matches my Skin's home and I honestly like this, but the better, the better. I honestly, like this method, better like using um the glue, putting laying your with your ball cap down using the glue versus using free spray, because it's just less messy, it's less messy and it's just you it's a cleaner installed. You have a cleaner, install versus you know if you know it's the real messy, sticky, icky and stuff. So after doing that, you take my Razor and go ahead and cut this cap accordingly. Basically, where the glue stops, this is my heart. My heart need no one else. You'Re all I need personality hit the little pieces, I'm just gon na tie it in the back, even though I don't really have any reason to, but just so that way, the wig cap doesn't lift up, because you all know how the wig cap tends to want To lift up - and you know, come up when you don't tie it in the back, so just tighten the back just so it can stay put, and then we got our wig now time to install her. I really like this wig, because this is a large cap size and it fits in my head perfectly, and I won't have to like first with these wigs, to get it to fit my big ass head. But before we do this before we go ahead and decide to lay it before I decide to lay this wig, I am going to first go. Take some alcohol and clean my forehead off a clean Foundation equals a clean and longer lasting installed, so we're gon na go ahead and wipe this off because my camera is dying. I really hate this camera like. Why are you gon na die now that I started installing this way? That'S so stupid, but I'm gon na go in with two layers, since this wig is not going to be on my head for very long, I'm going with two layers so and I like to let my the layers air dry, I like to let the blue air Dry after I go in with it, I'm gon na have to bring this down all the way down here, simply because my forehead is very small, so I always have to bring the wig down like all the way down here, because I have to cut it. You know to fit so that all right wiring, so I'm gon na, go over to the first layer and let it air dry and then I'm gon na go in with the second layer. I always spread the glue to where I feel like. I always wear the glue to where I feel like um. I wanted to stop on my forehead and with this I want the lace to stop so this. I want to stop literally like right here, because I'm already pulling this um lace down a little far on my forehead, since my forehead is so small. So it's literally going to stop right here. Foreign. Do you want okay, so I'm gon na let this air dry and I'm gon na come back with another all right. So now I'm about to go in with the second layer. The first layer is dry, I'm literally just going right back and putting it on the same spot. I put it last time and just following my hairline and where I want the wigs to potentially stop don't get me wrong now you may have to go in. Don'T put too much and bring it down too low it's safer for you to not bring to not put enough glue than to put too much glue, because if you don't put a notebook, you can always go back in after laying the lace and going in with Some more glow, but you cannot it's so much harder to take to wipe off the glue off your forehead after putting too much so once again, it's better to not put enough glue than to put too much so y'all can see. I'M I went back in with the second layer and I'm going to go ahead and let this dry and then, after that, I'm going to come back with um The Next Step. I always make sure that it dries clear before I go ahead and lay the lace. Now I'm going to go ahead and pull this down. This was um. I already positioned the lace to where I wanted to lay beforehand. So that's a very important step to do makes you position your lace where you want it to lay before you lay it and then where's my comb. I always like to take my comb and press it into the lace right check the comb and press it in and then I take my blow dryer and blow dry it while I'm here, foreign foreign, okay. So, after doing that, I'm gon na go ahead and cut the lace using this razor foreign. It depends like I installed my wig different every time, which, once you get a hang of installing your wigs once you really get it like down. You can do that, but so sometimes I use the razors. Sometimes I don't sometimes I like to cut peat. You know, make little sections or make little tabs and cut the tabs um. It just all depends on what I feel like, but this time I'm making tabs and I'm going to go ahead and cut the tabs, I'm starting with the middle um. The glue stops right there and I'm just going ahead and cutting it using the razor is much more it's much more better when installing wigs, because you get that Jagged cut that you're looking for you don't want a straight cuts when you're doing your wigs, you don't Want to straight cut because it's gon na look very Wicky. You want it to look as natural as possible Right. So there's that foreign foreign, nothing, it's not giving nothing. It'S clearly not um HD, it's giving me very much transparence or um yeah. It'S giving me very much transparent lace, so we're going to try to finesse this okay, I clearly don't need to uh, add any glue anywhere else, because it's pretty well. This part right here, you know, like I said, I'm taking this wig off for two days. So if you like, if you, when you're installing your wig, if there are any pieces that are like lifting up that, you want to secure more, especially if you know you're going to keep the weight on for a certain for a long period of time, make sure You go in in those areas just to like I'm actually gon na. Do it just to secure it a little more to make sure your lace isn't lifting in any areas. So that's what I'm doing now I wasn't going to, but I am I was going to be lazy and just you know it just add some little free spray and call it a day. But I'm going into those parts that I'm lifting and I'm just gon na add a little in those areas or on those pieces just so it can lay foreign I'm really trying to hurry up before my camera dies, trying to hurry up and um. Do this install um, okay, just lay this part boom and I'm just going to take my blow dryer just to really foreign with this, and I am going to do baby hairs um. So with my baby years, I just I know where my baby hairs typically are on my natural hairline. So I tend to try to mimic that mimic where my baby hairs would sit if I was doing baby hairs on my actual for my actual hair and that's kind of how my baby hairs was said. So I just take the comb and go in like a circular motion and whatever I pull out is what is going to be my baby hairs or grown-up hairs. Oh y'all hurt my stomach all right, so it's taking that those pieces out foreign just to hack on those hairs back into relief, make my edges more flatter. So when I'm going in with the spray, it's not hairs, laying all over the lace. You know you know. Now, just to make it very clean, look, clean, ER and then, after that, I'm gon na go in with possibly glue spray spray. So I'm going to go in with the got to be glue, spray and just spray off on the lace just to melt this, that's where the spray comes in, to help it really melt the glue will help melt the lace, but it wouldn't it's not going to Melt the lace, to the extent that you wanted so especially if you're not dealing with an HD lace, you're going to have to go through extra lengths to melt your lace. And so that's what we're doing taking this heavy in and I'm going to wrap it around. And let that dry I tend to like to tug on the on my edges on the hairs that are going to be my edges just so that way, it's really flat. You know all right, so we're gon na. Let that dry, all right so as y'all can see, I'm taking the melting band off and I'm just going to brush my edges out because they're a little hard from the freeze spray and the next thing I'm going to use is spreads just for just to melt. The lace even more because the freeze spray didn't do enough melting, so this Spritz really really melts the lace. So I'm telling off, freeze spray and Spritz will get you together, but after brushing my edges out, I'm going to use the Spritz and all right. So after that go ahead and take this off it's going to blow the driveway, this crazy storm, it's nicely dried foreign. I love doing curly wigs because I don't have to like do too much when it comes to curling or flat ironing. I can literally just do the edges. Add some moves to water and call the thing but anyways after this is the baby hairs. So for my baby hairs, I'm just going to go ahead and loosen up these hairs because they are a little hard on because of the freeze spray. So I'm just going to loosen up loosen up the grass okay and after doing that, I'm going to take my little my little skinny flat iron and curl. I also like these hairs all right, so I'm gon na take her and curl my hair. It really honestly doesn't matter which one you curl down, um, it's just curly um. It just depends honestly, but, like I said it really doesn't make a difference because you're going to get the same outcome for the most part, I'm going to take my scissors and cut these girls. It depends how you want them. If you want your hair to be more grown, you're going to cut them more down here, but if you want, like you, know more natural, looking baby hairs, I guess you can say I cut mine, it's like right here and I just cut it diagonal. I feel like a little more, especially I'm gon na cut it more. As I start to lay it lay my my edges, I'm going to cut it accordingly because right now I kind of have an idea on how they're going to lay, but I don't know exactly as well. It starts to actually lay it foreign gel. This is all my edges, I see who did I see through this? I am slay, I think it hurt. Instagram was, I am slave. Hey. I see her selling her class at just with Eco and her edges. Look really really nice, and so I'm, like I'm gon na start doing that, and lo and behold, Eco styling gel works really really good. When it comes to styling edges on a wig, it works really good and it lays it so well and it holds too it holds perfectly like I just love it. It just gives me that effect that I like that natural effects, because I don't like my edges to be too fluffy - I like them to be laid for real. It does just that it lays it lays it lazy stitches, exactly how I want to oh see foreign. I try not to go in with too much because I don't want it to be who have to. I don't want my edges to have too much product on them, trying to go on with just enough and when you're doing your edges, you know just styling exactly how you want them to be styled, just play with them and figure it out. So what is y'all can see. This is how I wanted them, and I like it. This looks good. So this is what I want everybody to understand when it comes to these edges. Everybody has a different preference when it comes to their edges. I'M tired of seeing in my comments, people talking about how they don't like my my edges or my groan, my adult hairs. I should make them smaller. I should do no edges. Everybody has a different preference and different a different way. They like to style their edges. So I feel like everybody should let them break through them and um. You do it as just how you like to do your edges and I'll. Do my how I like it? So I try to do my um wagon Stars in different ways to appeal to everybody. So I try to do wigging stalls with no edges and wigging stars with very little to no edges. You know what I mean and then also it installs with grown baby hair, because that's how some people like them - and I honestly prefer each way I like all the ways honestly it just I guess, depends on my mood or something I don't know baby hairs to Little to another year again, if I'm trying to get, you know bad, I do these grown okay, foreign. Now I'm going to go in with some foundation, so I'm taking this brush and I took a little foundation and I'm just going in just a tablet Foundation. You don't need a whole bunch tablets, you don't need to use a whole bunch, since you don't want your legs to be really cakey. You want it to be. You know, look as natural as possible. You don't want to give kicking. So I'm just going into those spots that are very all right, so I just went on my back stick and I'm just using my hot comb just to get that hair, nice and flat from the room. So now I'm just taking some concealer and I'm putting that in my part, to Define my part a little more to make it pop that all right. So the last thing I'm doing is basically just styling, my hair in two flat twists to the back um just watch it honestly. I really don't know how to explain how I'm doing this. Well, it's really self-explanatory and pretty much just I'm going to be using a section of the top of my hair to do the flat twist and I'm parting, I'm parting, that section into two pieces. So that way I can hot comb it real flat using the wax. Stick, oh foreign right in my life with you, please please foreign so fly I can't deny. I got a crush on you and that's true foreign.
