Hello everybody. Today I brought my new favorite pastel, pink human hair wig into school and a little something something just a little full head of highlights on pink hair. Like hello, I filmed the whole process I'll show you what it looks like after this whole segment of voiceovers roll the clips. Oh my gosh who's! That wait. Oh my gosh! That'S me, and this is my voiceover. This is how I start my day. I sanitize the station get ready for a client, oh yeah, yeah pump up that chair, whoever's coming in is comfy and that's one of my teachers. Oh my gosh and here's. Our client wow look at her she's, so cute this is Lucy. We will be messing with my beautiful pastel, pink wig. The last time I took this wig out. It was curled, so I didn't really do anything with it, but I got ta brush it out and game plan. This thing you know my beautiful teacher Kiana was like wait. We have to see what it looks like on you, so here we are she's, helped me with the little wig cap and I'm gon na, put this wig on and give you all an actual solid before there. It is honestly, a beautiful color. I do love this pastel pink. I know you're probably wondering. Can this wig get any lighter? Why, yes, this is what I was thinking. So first we got to set up our client, get it with a little towel around her neck, and then we put the cape on in school. We learned to section out our hair first, depending on what we're doing so here, I'm going to be sectioning it doing the Mohawk section specifically so that the highlights lay a certain way, you'll see what I'm saying later, but we got ta make sure the Mohawk, wherever Your part is, is all up in one and then we have. The sides are separate because they get a little something different too and then two sections in the back. Here'S what these sections look like a little 360 for you and now, let's get our Bowl, got ta mix up some good good bleach, we're using agoras uh. So we did 30 grams of bleach powder and 20 volume developer because we don't want to go too crazy. You know, but we're doing a one to two ratio for Bleach, so that is one part powder which I did 30 grams and we need 60 grams of the developer. A little mix mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, mix, fun fact, the blue Powder bleach. The blue will help cancel out if any oranges come through, that you don't want, oh and do not forget about the gloves. Oh, my gosh specifically me, so I am sectioning out I'm taking actually pieces from both of the back sections so that I don't bleach one side more than the other. Maybe necessarily I don't need two sections in the back. Okay, I already see the comments coming in. Listen, it just helps my brain okay, but we're letting out pieces from both sections in the back and and we're going to go in. Yes, look at that Precision, though y'all. This is why it takes me a little too long get a little foil on there. Stick it behind the hair and we're going to be brushing on some bleach. The angle is a bit hard, especially in the back of the neck, no matter, if it's a person or a mannequin, you know so I do struggle with the bag, so I won't be putting the bleach all the way up to the quote. Unquote. Scalp here cover it with a foil and keep going keep doing the next one in the next one yeah, it's real secure, I'm so good at this. Thank you. Everyone give me all your compliments honestly. My teachers have told me, I'm pretty sure, though it's not gon na lie. They'Re like wow Hannah you're. The best at highlights just kidding may have never said that now that I've finished the whole back section. I just need to make sure that this isn't developing super super fast, and I have to take these out right away. So the key is, you have to go back and check on the very first one. You know once you get to a good stopping point and see where you're at, because you don't know what the hair is gon na do, whether it's gon na lift super quickly - or you know like in this instance, not at all. It'S been probably 30 or 40 minutes of me putting these foils in the back and the first one hasn't even moved yet here we are now we're going in for the sides, and let me tell you this technique. I am kind of the worst at I'm pretty confident with, but when you go closer around the face, you want to make sure those highlights go up to the root, but that means you have to put the foil over their face like you're doing a facial um. However, the angle is really hard to do honestly. I am getting better at it every single time I do it and then, when we go into the sides, we're doing normal horizontal highlights again and then you know what I just decided to go for it. I'M like hey girlie, you know what it's time for me to be comfortable. Okay. I am also gon na be sitting on this chair, and this is me not able to reach anything here. Is my lovely teacher Kiana helping me check in at the highlights that we did probably an hour and a half ago at this point and it doesn't look like the bleach move that much if anything, the highlights look purple now. At this point, a new thought came to mind. Miss Kiana was like well Hannah. You know this might not work because, even though it's human hair companies will dye human hair with azo dyes, which, if you don't know what Azo dyes are, they are metallic dyes. If you don't know what metallic dies are, think of permanent box dyes, box dies can leave hair very unpredictable, a little spray here to take the bleach off and see if this bleach in fact lifted the hair at all, and you know what it looks like it Did yeah look at that and you can see it. There is a difference. There really is and now we're finishing up, highlighting the Mohawk section. This honestly, the Mohawk section is the only time it matters like if you're gon na mess up anywhere like do not mess up on the Mohawk section, because that is all you see when the hair is parted. Honestly, okay and now we're focusing again on the hairline very, very important to get the very front of the hair, nice and bleached out so we're doing some. What some would call baby light baby lights? Is that what they call it? But you want the smallest little small little highlights, but you get the brighter look around your face here. We go it's break time and now it is time to take out all of the highlights or most of them, most of the highlights that looks like they have lifted. So that's definitely the whole back. But my girl Acera came in and reminded me that I agreed to straighten her hair. When I make a promise, I make a promise. Okay, I did not care that then bleach might be destroying my wig. I told us Sarah, I would help do her hair, and here I am - I make a lot of promises in school. I really do I'm like. Yes, I will help you with your hair the next day. Yes, I will help you with your hair right now. I told her I'm like we're gon na have to speed this up. So you you have to do your own hair in the front, taking out the rest of the bleach. Thank God it did not make all of the hair fall out by leaving the bleach on. For another hour, oh we're doing good, we are lucky lucky here absolutely and while I was taking the foils out, the wig came off. I I snatched Louise's wig and what you can't see is basically all of the other students laughing at me, because you know I'm here. I'M here for the entertainment, you're welcome everyone. Literally only two left come on. You got it here. You got it all righty, and here she is my cutie Cutie wig in the sink. Yes, you can tell, though you can tell there's some good differences in there. Now we got ta go over to the shampoo bar and we're gon na grab some color safe, shampoo and conditioner. Perfect perfect, take note everyone, you got ta know what hair you're dealing with to know what products to use on it and I'm just dumping the shampoo right in there and I try to wash it with one hand, and it didn't work that well yeah the shampoo. The shampoo wash out the bleach pretty easily, and now we use a little conditioner now that I put so much bleach on this. She needs a little Revival. Okay, so we're using some cold water, too cold water make sure the color doesn't come out which honestly none of the color did, but you know it did come out. Is the hair got ta clean the bowl and take the hair out of the drain? So sad, you know it's the one that got away absolutely get out of here. Here we are putting the wig back on Lucy. She got hair again, that's right got ta, take care of my girl, so we have a moisturizer right here that I'm spraying in there how's keep the moisture in. Unfortunately, I will not be using any of these products at home, probably ever because they are not cruelty. Free I'm also using a tame wild and undercoat. They help with flyaways um. Is it vegan? No, of course not. You know what, in my head, brushing hair looks a lot softer than this like. Why does it look like I brushed so rough and some hair came out oops how much hair, how much hair, oh God? Now I want to go in and we just need to power dry, The Roots um, and now I'm just going with a brush. I was thinking about blowing out the hair with my round brush and then I thought about how loose the wig is on Lucy eye. I can't do that. We got ta dry enough and now I'm using the flat iron on the color safe temperature. My flat iron has a low setting a high setting and a color treated setting, so I can't actually tell you what temperature it is. All I know is that it's recommended for color treated hair. Here we have the wig before and after after okay. How does she look honestly bit I'm just a big fan of this wig? I just love this wig. So much. I think the highlights are a lot more subtle than I thought. Like everyone in my school was like that's Hannah, you can see them. You can see the different tones in there. Absolutely, I think, maybe in the future, a better idea would be to use a darker pink and do some low lights and let these this color be like the Highlight. Definitely you should have just done a test strand before spending all day on this, but what else am I going to be doing in school? You know joking, I'm joking. If my teachers are watching this, I do so much every day. I do, though I do. I want to more awards today, actually y'all. Thank you so much for watching this video. It was really nice just being able to show you what I do in school and what it looks like and what the process is. Even if you can't necessarily see the biggest results, I definitely want to try this again on some more wigs. So let me know what color wig. I should try this on next and I will see you next time. Bye,
